The Wigglian Way Pagan Podcast

Well well, Happy Gregorian New Year. Here we are a few weeks into 2021, and our 14th year of The Wigglian Way. Like I said on the show, that is a whole teenager and we don't know what they are going to do this year. It should be fun.  This Episode, we have Mike Munsil, who has developed Triads for Change. Triads for Change is inspired by the Celtic and Welsh Triads of history as well as on the Courage to Change:One Day at a Time a book used in Al-Anon II.  Mike developed the Triads for Change specifically for Pagans when the Christian based Courage to Change isn't the right fit. He shares the whys and the wherefores in Sparrow's interview.  The Wigglian Way has a little brother podcast with a whole bunch of loving. Moj has launched his Moment with Moj podcast. You can find here on this website.  For this episode, and possibly more, we will not be sharing a Feature Album. The FA has gone the way of the dodo bird for the most part it seems. That being said this episode has some pretty amazing music. In order we hear: Silver Doe by Magicfolk (this is a single)  Blood for Gold by Sharon Knight (from the Green Album, Tuatha Dea Rainforest)  The Spark that Lights the Fire by Tim Lane from As Sure As the Sun Rises in the East (This was sent to us by fellow Wigglian Chris Bond) Evolve by Gaia Consort (Evolve 2010) Four Directions- Ginger Doss (Hand and Hammer)  Thank you to each of the artists for sharing their love and their hearts. Thanks for walking The Wigglian Way.

The Wigglian Way Pagan Podcast

The other day I had the chance to speak with Robin Corak, the owner of Phoenix Awen Rising among many things. Robin came on to the show to talk to me about Persephone: Practicing the Art of Personal Power, her latest book. It's a timely book about self empowerment in a place of darkness. I'm working through it myself right now. If anyone is interested I wouldn't mind doing a book club where we work through the exercises and questions together. Just let me know at our email.  Recently we were given a press pass to The Official Witches Sabbat which is a bi-annual assembly of witches and occultists. It was fantastic and we enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot. In fact, as far as pagan conferences and festivals go, we attended more presentations at the Witches Sabbat than any of the others, ever.  The presenters were knowledgeable and passionate about what they were teaching. The quality of the sound and video was great with no lag that I could ascertain. I would highly recommend attending next conference. Thank you to Devin and the rest of the crew for inviting us, it was a great time.  At The Official Witches Sabbat the first annual Witchies were held. We will be having 3 Witchy winner, Mat Auryn on the show in the near future. Congratulations Mat! Mat also presented at The Official Witches Sabbat.  I was so excited to hear what our Feature Album is this episode. Mojo chose Songs for the Waning Year by Sharon Knight and T. Thorn Coyle. This is one of my favourite more seasonal pagan albums. From the album we hear Prayer for the Dead, The Morrigan Chant, and at the end of the show, Osiris Lives.  We also hear Holly, Ivy, & Yew from The Road Santiago by Heather Dale. To complete our musical offering this episode we have Warrior Goddess from Journey to the Goddess by Lisa Thiel.  Thanks for walking The Wigglian Way!  See you soon.

The Wigglian Way Pagan Podcast

It's All About the Love! Welcome back to The Wigglian Way. We are so happy that you are spending this time with us.  The more we can be together in new ways the better.  Like this Samhain. Be creative.  Make your Ancestors proud. Consider teaching your littles about their grandparents and yours.  On this episode of The Wigglian Way Sparrow chats with Sharon Knight. Although I would rather see her and Winter in person I am content that we can spend time together, and with you, for the time of this interview.  Sharon is sure to inspire you to find your passion during these trying times. Sharon found the stillness and space to write a year-long shadow work intensive that begins Samhain 2020. It's called Pentacles, Power, and Purpose and you can find out more here.  Of course, we couldn't have Sharon on the episode to talk about her upcoming course without playing her music as well. In fact, Sharon recently released to the public 5 songs that were previously released on Patreon. Three of the five songs are featured in our Feature album segment today. From Witch Moon we hear Witch Moon, The Conjuring, and Boudicca (which is my current favourite).  After you hear the next song you might wonder if you have stumbled into a Fairie ring yourself. Yes, it's Oh Shit, Its the Fairies by Parnassus. Wrapping up this episode of The Wigglian Way is Stealing The Fire, by King of Shadows, from the self titled EP.  The Dark Days Tarot deck can be found here. Perhaps look at it before you purchase it. Some people don't like this deck at all and some people, like myself, love it.

The Wigglian Way Pagan Podcast

This just might have been the most eventful 8 months of either of our lives. We are both so happy to be working our way back into the groove. One of those steps is jumping back into something that we love and that is The Wigglian Way. On this Episode we share a little bit about what we have been going through this last year.  One constant has been our friends Jillan and Kris. Kris Schulz, you may remember is Mojo's guitar mentor and close friend. Kris has been fighting his own physical battles, but has recently released Chasing the Light. From Chasing the Light we hear Chasing the Light, A Warm Blanket for Sheila, and Tomorrow the Sun Will Shine. Thank you Jillian and Kris for everything!  There sure have been a lot of storms lately. To mark that, we play Let the Waters Rise by Sharon Knight, from Portals. We complete our musical line up with Call to the Rain by Arthur Hinds from the Radiant Brow.

Good almost Wigglian Summer! We are excited for the coming months and all that they will bring. We hope you are looking forward to the warmer days as well. Since we are talking about summer, let's start with our Feature Album. This time of year Mojo and I like to listen to Sharon Knight and T. Thorn Coyle's The Strengthening Sun. We only listen to it during the "Light" half of the year and Force of Nature, Frey and Freya, and the Jewel of the Sun are some of our favourite songs from that cd. Some of our other favourite summer songs are Aphrodite and Pan by our friend Kellianna and Hal an Tow by D The Bard (That's Damh the Bard in case you didn't know). Recently, we have been getting a lot of questions regarding meditation and journeying and what might the difference be. Better than to try that one ourselves, we invited our animist teacher John-Luke Edwards of the Sagh'ic Tire Dhream, to explain. As an added bonus, John-Luke shares the difference between Totem Animals and Animal Guides. May we also direct you to the Society's podcast, The Forked Stick. Mojo is the editor and publisher of that podcast. We hope that you enjoy this episode. Thank  you for joining us. Thank you for walking, The Wigglian Way.

This is our 34th Prime episode! This is happy episode number 139! If you get that then maybe, just maybe, you will understand the math geek that Sparrow truly is. Welcome back, to The Wigglian Way! So glad you could make it. We have what we think is a fun show for you this go around! First, Mojo has a chat with the ever enchanting Sharon Knight regarding Hexenfest and her upcoming tour with Winter. Of course, they are two of our favourite people and we always enjoy talking to them. Hope we see you soon Sharon and Winter! More about Sharon here. More about Winter here. So, once there was a listener Katrina, and then we met her and she became one of Sparrow's dear friends, so we have her and her wife Trisha on this episode.  As many of you know, Sparrow's head blew up about two years ago and she suddenly became aware of a lot of things she wasn't aware of before. Stuff happens when that happens, and chances are, your life is going to change. All aspects of your life will change and one of those things is your magickal practice. Trisha, Katrina, and I (Sparrow) have a chat regarding sustainability in our magickal practice. Click on Katrina and Trish's names above for links to various writing and artistic pursuits.   A little while ago, Kris, Mojo's mentor and teacher invited us to his local gig room for some live music. Of course, Kris played, and he had Calum Graham as a guest. That evening we knew that although Calum isn't pagan, that we would be featuring his music on the show. For you, we've chosen Tabula Rasa, Wild Woman, and one of the best covers of Billie Jean that we have collectively ever heard. Speaking of "collectively"....we may have a crush on Calum. To complete the musical line up for this episode we have a pair of pagan classics. We hear Ravens by Gaia Consort from Gaia Circles and Sing the Stones by Spiral Dance from the album, Through a Sylvan Doorway. Thanks for Walking the Wigglian Way. It's all about the Love.

Spread that Love like Budda! This world is a whole lot of whack lately. It reminds me of the old phrase, "Stop the planet, I want to get off". For realz. Mostly on this episode we are catching up as we've been away for a bit. Lots has happened and it's pretty transformative. Change is good, right? Before we get to the music for the show I'd like to tell you a secret. Lean in. Mojo and I are going to CalderaFest Pagan Music Festival 2017 in Lafayette, Georgia! We are so excited. It's still over a year away but that gives us lots of time to plan. David, of the Magick Jukebox contacted Mojo last month and they worked something out. We will get to see old friends and meet new ones. Our favourite past time. We also got a little code to "sweeten the pot" so to speak. When Wigglian Way listeners use the code "net2017" they will get 5% off their ticket price. We will get a little kickback as well which will help us on the approximately 40 hour epic drive from Vancouver, Canada to Lafayette, Georgia. You know who I think we will get to see at CalderaFest 2017? Or hoping anyway, it's too early to know. Well, that would be Sharon Knight. Today on the show we feature Sharon's album Portals. I love me some sexy Sharon music. The three songs are, Crimson Masquerade, Scent of Your Skin, and Trail of Prayer.  I believe that I might have heard that Tuatha Dea might be playing CalderaFest as well. From their self titled album we hear The Sky is Falling. It certainly feels like it. A band that likely won't be playing CalderaFest 2017 is Emerald Rose. They are retiring at the end of this year after over two decades of inspiring us with divine tunes. Thank you for the music, Emerald Rose.  From Emerald Rose....Never Underestimate.   Thank you for spending your time with us. It's all about the Love.

After a brief TWIH hiatus, we return with our guest Sharon Knight, a pagan musician who does both solo work and plays as a group with her partner Winter in Pandemonaeon. We talk about the art of performing, the magickal experience of being on stage, the future and past of pagan music, and how music influences her work, both spiritually and professionally. We also talk about her latest album and the work that goes into writing, recording, and making videos for an album.    Note: Please excuse the audio weirdness. We were having a bad Skype day.   Festival Favorites Sharon Knight and Winter are internationally touring musicians in the mythic-Celtic vein. Their penchant for combining fierce and gutsy bravado with ethereal beauty, a hearty dose of fantastical lyrics, and an obvious love of storytelling has inspired their own style, “Neofolk Romantique”. This often sounds less Celtic and more “Folktales that ran away with the Faeries at the turn of the century and took cover in an old trunk bound for the circus, which was then commandeered by pirates.” This suits them fine.   They have shared stages with mythic music favorites such as Faun, Omnia, Corvus Corax, SJ Tucker, Tricky Pixie, Heather Dale, Wendy Rule, Stellamara, and many more. They have recently completed a 100% crowd-funded CD and music video featuring several of these artists, called Portals, which they are touring to support now.     Links   http://www.sharonknight.net/   http://sharonknight.bandcamp.com/album/portals   https://www.patreon.com/SharonKnight

The Wigglian Way Pagan Podcast

Welcome back, to The Wigglian Way! This is take two. I wrote the most amazing show notes EVER. Then technology happened. For those of you who use libsyn, you know that it does not save your text. Be that as it may, The Show Must Go On and so much the show notes. We were super stoked and excited to have an interview with Jenna Greene and Kellianna about their newly released album, Fairy's Love Song. Kellianna and Jenna came together as a duo under the name Lady Moon to create this lovely traditional album. One of my all time favourite tunes is on the album AND on this episode. Black is the Colour completes the show, but before that we hear Fhir A'Bhata (Fair a Vata) and Siuil a Run. Mojo and I are pretty certain you will enjoy this cd. Thank you Ladies! For the first time ever on The Wigglian Way we hear the Italian band Ison. They have named their group after a style of music that has slow moving vocals, often used in Byzantine chant. It is an interesting style of music and from the album Venison we hear Revenant. Sharon Knight and Winter have recently released Portals and it is FANTASTIC. From Portals we enjoy Conjurer. Sssshhh don't tell anyone but it's our feature album for our next episode. Thank you for joining us here on the Wigglian Way. It's all about the Love. Hello and thank you once again for joining me down at the crossroads for some music, magick, and Paganism. Where witches gather for the sabbath, offerings are made, pacts are signed for musical fame and we cross paths with today’s most influential Pagans, occultists, and deep thinkers. I am your bewitching, bald headed, host Chris Orapello and tonight we meet with Sharon Knight to discuss the recent release of her new album Portals featuring the long anticipated recording of her beloved song Porcelain Princess - now music video- as well as other great songs featuring several artists from the Pagan music scene. When we last met with Sharon she was crowd funding for this very album so it's nice to speak with her, now that her goal has been fully achieved. Sharon and I not only discuss her new album, but we also touch upon her other interests as well as her involvements for the next several months. This is a fun, casual, death and life, discussion packed with insight, laughs, and bunch of links for you to check out! Portals is envisioned as an otherworldly carnival, a traveling roadshow of musicians, each with the ability to open portals with their voices, their bows, their flying fingers. Meant to convey the spirit of life on the road, and the spontaneous magic of sitting in on each other’s sets, Sharon and Winter have invited several of the musicians they have shared stages with to add their unique talents to this collection of mythic song-stories. These were the shownotes of our lives. Actually, this is the third time I am writing these shownotes. Upon reflection, I believe they have taught me one of two things. Either the lost shownotes are the meanest teachers of patience OR they are teaching me to get a different type of keyboard next time.  As they say...the show must go on.  This episode Mojo gets to chat with Sharon Knight about her new project, Portals. Portals is a "Carnival of Mystery" mulit media project that supports a community of musicians and artists.  Our Feature Album this show is Salterello by Magicfolk. We hear Dance of the Honey Bees, Bedlam Boys, and Babylon. Magicfolk combine traditional and modern influences creating music with a powerful, otherworldly atmosphere. There music ranges from energetic folk reels to Eastern European dance tunes to ethereal ballads, progressive rock and psychodelia.  We just got confirmation about a number of things regarding SunWheel Arts and Music Festival 2015. First, we found out that Kellianna AND Arthur Hinds are going to be performing this year. We can't wait to see Kellianna again and we have been waiting  a long time to meet Arthur. To celebrate, we will hear Arthur's Greenwood Woman from Poetry of Wonder and Kellianna's Maiden, Mother, Crone from Lady Moon.  Thanks for downloading the show! How to subscribe: Most people subscribe to podcasts in iTunes; click the button to view the podcast in iTunes. Show notes from this episode with Sharon Knight: Sharon Knight has a unique description of her music: Neofolk Romantique. It started out as Celtic-inspired music. She learned on Celtic music, but over time she started writing more of her own songs which were inspired by Mythology. The staunch Celtic traditionalists called her out on it, so she decided to create her own genre. And there we have Neofolk Romantique. It’s Celtic-inspired and folk rock based, drawing on a lot of romance and Old World legends. She just decided on the description for this genre a few years ago while working on a project that’s due for release any day now. The pre-release version is available now. The pre-release was put out there to raise funds for this upcoming project. The pre-release is more intimate because it’s just her and her husband and music/business partner, Winter, as a duet. The newer project will include guest musicians and will be more fleshed-out. On the pre-lease, Winter plays acoustic guitar, and Sharon plays octave mandolin (larger and tuned an octave lower than a regular mandolin), acoustic guitar and an Irish drum called a bodhrán (pronounced similarly to boron). Sharon and Winter both sing on the CD. There are a couple of guest musicians on the pre-lease, but most of the music is Sharon and Winter. In the new, full version, there will be several guest musicians—their long-term collaborator, Caith Threefires will be playing a lot of different instruments from the mandolin family; he also plays keyboard and bass. A cellist will be sitting in. There will be several new songs, and some of the songs from the pre-lease will be removed. There will be bagpipes and some flutes and a dobro. It will still be acoustic, but the sound will be more fleshed-out. They have a darker, harder version of their sound in their band called Pandemonaeon. It’s formulated like an electric rock band, but it’s a very different sound. She describes it as Dead Can Dance mixed with hard rock and a little bit of metal, but the Folk influence is still there. She finds that their acoustic stuff is more well-known than their harder, electric stuff. This isn’t surprising because the acoustic music reaches the New Age and Neo-Pagan world where most of their fans come from. Sharon gives a broad description of Paganism: an earth-centered spirituality in which people live harmoniously with Nature and perform rituals to celebrate different cycles of the year. She says that there are Reconstructionist movements that try to reconstruct the pre-Christian thing, people who are trying to recreate, as close as possible, how the rituals were done before Christianity. Andy brings up the point that people tend to strongly disagree over what Pagan Reconstructionism really is, because how can any of us really know how things were done back then? Then there are people who want to recreate the meaning of it but realize that because we’re not living in that ancient world any more, things don’t really mean the same thing. Sharon says that most people she knows do a really good job of finding balance. That’s the place she comes from: Being inspired by some of the ancient traditions to live in harmony with Nature but making it relevant in our society as modern people.

First, I seem to have a code in my node but that didn't stop us from making this episode. Twice. Long story, but I think Mojo covers it in the show.  Wow, did we ever have a great time at Pantheacon 2013. For anyone who missed it, we missed you, and we hope to see you next year. Both of us LOVE the atmosphere at Con. It's so us and we have so much fun.  Some of the fun we had included gorgeous ladies of music. I got to interview Wendy Rule and Sharon Knight. Together. At the same time. I was sweating (er...glowing) bullets. However, they were both so kind and so generous with their thoughts that they made it easy for me. I know you will enjoy the interview.  Wendy and Sharon both have courses that are beginning very soon. Wendy's is called Living a Life of Magic and Sharon's is The Ring of Enchantment. I am so tempted to take both these courses.  Of course, considering that they are both musicians, all our music this episode comes from Wendy and Sharon. The feature album is Live at the Castle on the Hills, by Wendy Rule. From that cd we hear Dance of the Wild Faeries, Animus, and Guided by Venus.  From Pandemonaeon we hear The Goat is on the Pole from Dangerous Beauty and The Shimmering Sheen from the album Pandemonaeon (in this song Winter does the main vocals).  We were so lucky to win a silent auction at Pantheacon for a gorgeous Grandfather drum called "SunDog". He is a beautiful and already well loved part of our coven and the rest of the group hasn't even met him! "SunDog" was created by Don Schulz who is the proprietor of The Different Drum. Thanks so much Don!  We met Dodie McKay for the first time at Pantheacon. She is a film maker and fellow Canadian. Dodie's film, The Winnipagans is on our coven movie night list, and I cannot wait to see it.  That wraps that up! Thanks for listening! Thanks for walking, The Wigglian Way.

Today is the Solstice. If you are reading/listening to this show after Solstice, WE MADE IT!! It's actually the beginning of so many things. The old age is over and the new age has begun.  For this, the last episode of the calendar year and also the episode that closes 6 years of Wigglian podcasting, we have a special guest. We were lucky enough to get a recording of a lecture that Ronald Hutton gave in September in London, England. Sparrow was supposed to be at that lecture but was unable to make it. Our good friend, Dennis, was kind enough to record it and send it to us. We hope you enjoy and learn a little about Pagan History.  We are not featuring an album on this episode but have 5 seasonal tunes for your enjoyment.  Our first song is by Damh the Bard and is called The Winter King, from the Spirit of Albion. Next we hear Light of the World by Sharon Knight and T. Thorn Coyle from the album Songs for a Waning Year.  We borrowed from mainstream music for the next three songs and they are Merry Christmas Baby (by Charles Brown, from the Blues at Christmas 1 cd), Little Drummer Boy (Bob Seger, Ultimate Hits), and finally Winter Wonderland (REO Speedwagon, Not So Silent Night).  Blessed Yule everybody. Stay safe and warm and don't drink and drive.  Thanks for Walking the Wigglian Way!

The Wigglian Way Pagan Podcast

Mojo was very lucky to be able to interview Sabina Magliocco for this episode. She is a brilliant educator and we thank her very much for gracing our show with her presence.  During the last little while The Wigglian Way studios received a wonderful bit of mail which ends up being our Feature Album. It is a double album by Spiral Dance, called, Through a Sylvan Doorway. From this new release we hear The Sylvan Doorway, Fae Dance, and Asgard's Chase. The three tracks we play from this 2012 release are all on the 1st disc. Wait until we hear the 2nd one!  This was a week of firsts. We are lucky enough to be able to play the new World Premier by our good friend Akashik. This track is called I Can Remember. To complete our playlist for Episode 106 we hear Sharon Knight and Pandemonaeon with Scent of your Skin, from Temple of Dreams.  As Mojo promised, we have good news/bad news and bad news/good news. Tune in to find out what that might be.  It's all about the Love!

The Wigglian Way Pagan Podcast

And yet, there are no dalmations.  This is a "taking care of business" episode where we share about the Sun Wheel Pagan Arts Festival with an interview with Ed (co-owner of Where Faeries Live in Edmonton, Alberta). Mojo also interviews Thom from Raven's Call.  The Feature album is no surprise as we were lucky and honoured to host Sharon Knight and Winter this last weekend for a really great concert. The album is their 2011 release, Neofolk Romantique. From that recording we hear Saucy Sailor, Song of the Wandering Aengus, and Bells of Alluria. We also hear Raven's Call with The Charge and Mojo's Solstice Day.  We are going to have a quick turnaround as next week we are recording Episode 102. Keep your eyes and ears open.  Thank for walking The Wigglian Way!

The Wigglian Way Pagan Podcast

I will tell you this...I never thought that we'd make it to Episode 99, and I am sure Mojo didn't either. But, here we are and we are HERE with a HUGE bang. This is a jam-packed busy episode full of fun information, laughter, and music. We hope that you enjoy.  We kick off this massive show with Sheldon, the Facilities Co-ordinator for the Gathering for Life on Earth. Sheldon shares some of the very cool things that will happen at the Festival during the last weekend in May.  How lucky is The Wigglian Way to have not one but TWO interviews for a single episode? Our second interview is with the esteemed philosper, Dr. Brendan Myers. The good Doc shares with us some of the exciting things happening in his life. Brendan has just published Circles of Meaning, Labyrinths of Fear and his first novel, Fellwater (which is on my nook and I am reading right now- well not now, but you know what I mean). Brendan has also "published" Iron Age- Council of the Clans which is a downloadable game. How's that for a busy man?  Speaking of busy men, Devin Hunter- podkin extraordinaire, has a number of projects happening all at once as well! Modern Witch Magazine First Edition is now available as is Devin's book 10 Things You Can Do Now to make Your Magic More Effective. Considering Devin now has more hours in the day than the rest of us I think the has read his own book.  There is nothing like Hippy Pagan People to brighten your day and thankfullythe lovely Bekah Kelso has written a great song to prove it! What Lucky Bird (s) we are that we get to feast on these lovely sounds just as the Seething Sun is growing ever stronger. These three songs are all part of our Feature Album Departures by Bekah Kelso.  We also hear Egil Saga from the album Licht by Faun and Double Edged Sword from the album Incantation by our friend Sharon Knight.  Folks, thanks for visiting with us for 99 Episodes. As we head in to a new millenia of episodes we want to thank you for walking The Wigglian Way!

The Wigglian Way Pagan Podcast

Two steps forward and one back? The closer we get to Episode 100 the harder it is to see. We will get there. It's only 5 episodes. It's bound to happen. Right? Right? Right!  We talk about the busy month that February is turning out to be for us. For such a short month it sure has a lot packed into it. Sparrow's segment is quaintly named, "clothing/modesty/misogyny/slut whore topic"...and is a rant against the word SLUT. We discuss about many workshops and lectures that are available at Pantheacon, in San Jose, this year and which ones we'd like to go to. We leave in just a few days.  The feature album for tonight's episode is, As Nature Intended, by Damh the Bard. It's a live unplugged album and we LOVE it! From the album we hear Pagan Ways, Gently Johnny, and The Hills they are Hollow. Alexander James Adams, Sharon Knight, and T.Thorn Coyle will all be at Pantheacon so we share some of their music with you on Episode 95. From Alec we hear Blood and Passion from Balance of Nature. From Sharon and Thorn's album Songs for the Strengthening Sun we hear Joys of Springtime.  The Sun IS strengthening. If we all sing, laugh, dance, and love LOUD the Sun will return. Summer will come again.  Speaking of summer, we have our first summer festival announcement! The Sun Wheel Pagan Arts Festival, June 29th to July 2nd, just outside of Edmonton, Alberta! Thanks for visiting with us and for downloading the show. Thanks for walking The Wigglian Way!

From Song of the Sea we hear Phoenix from the Ashes, Lagan Love and we end the show with King Willie. We also hear Kellianna's Fire Transform Me and Omina's Saltatio Vita and in hounour of our beloved covenmate's handfasting, we are throwing in a bonus song, Handfasting Blessing by SJ Tucker, at no extra cost to the listeners! Aftermath (Blar-Nan-Leine 1544) Battle of the Field of Shirts The Battle of Kinloch-Lochy, also known as the Battle of the Shirts or Blar na Léine, was a 1544 battle in Scotland, fought between branches of the Clan Donald, with the involvement of their allies the Clan Cameron against the Clan Fraser, led by Fraser of Lovat, who was aided by members of Clan Grant. The site was on Loch Lochy. [wiki]. See also Clan Cameron's description. The Clanranald Trust Duncarrow All of the members of Saor Patrol are deeply involved in Charity Work, starting the Clanranald Trust. They say: Our ultimate aim is to replicate a medieval Motte and Bailey Fort as an interactive educational visitor attraction (See more at DunCarron). The idea behind the project is to provide an arena in which groups, individuals and school parties can experience the atmosphere of an authentic medieval working community. Once completed the Trust intend to use this development as a centre from which to base their work with the local community and educational institutions, whilst also offering a great forum for companies to entertain clients and employees alike. Guitar and piano blended like a vintage whisky. And those lyrics; at once verbose and precise. Songs of love, songs of joy, songs of hope to make you smile and dream and weep. This track is a collaboration between John of the Hungry Bentleys and Irish poet Nigel McLoughlin. Nigel McLoughlin is the author of four collections of poetry, the latest of which is Dissonances (bluechrome, 2007). You can find the Hungry Bentleys on Myspace. To protect his family from harm, Ambiorix has no choice but to join the Roman Army, once again commanding a cavalry unit, and torn between the soldier inside and being a husband and father. Nemu must confront a past life that is filled with betrayal, loss and revenge. As her past life collides with her present life, she finds herself trapped in the Celtic Underworld by a god who was once obsessed with her when she was known as Becuille. You can visit Kelley Heckart's website or find out much more about her and where to get her books on our Contributor Page.   Song of the Sea by Sharon Knight Alive with soulful longing, passionate hope, and vivid imagery, the music of Sharon Knight is a journey into the otherworldly mists of a timeless land, filled with brave heroes, epic love, and mythical quests. For more than 10 years, the San Francisco Celtic songstress has been performing and recording her unique musical vision as both a solo artist and fronting the world-rock fusion band Pandemonaeon. Her voice is strong and soulful, with a hint of vulnerability, and her striking poetry is set to lush instrumentation reminiscent of Loreena McKennitt’s work. Sharon has also been favorably compared with Fairport Convention, Stevie Nicks, and Tori Amos. Sharon can be found on Myspace, but Sharon's own website, Sharon Knight: Music, Myth & Magic is a beautifully designed tour de force about Sharon and her work.
