Music Matters host Darrell Craig Harris speaks with popular ambient/new-age music artist Kevin Keller about the release of his latest album "Evensong" Darrell and Kevin also cover composing, collaboration, and more in this fun and insightful episode!    More on Kevin Keller and his latest release   Evensong is an 8-movement album that not only revives Hildegard's sacred music but also brings her transcendental visions into the contemporary world, offering an immersive experience that blurs the lines between past and present, mysticism and music. Keller enriches her ancient compositions with layers of modern textures—combining strings, vocals, and analog synthesizers—to transform these chants into vivid soundscapes that feel simultaneously timeless and contemporary. At the heart of Evensong is an ambitious attempt to channel Hildegard's spiritual visions, offering audiences a way to experience them in a way that wasn't possible in her time. Kevin has been a leading figure in the new-age music scene for over 30 years, with 14 albums that fuse classical and electronic music in deeply evocative ways. This milestone release represents a significant leap in his artistic journey, and with the GRAMMY's “New Age” category recently expanding to include ambient and chant music, Evensong is primed to make a powerful impact.   www.KevinKeller.com www.Instagram.com/kevinkellerpro https://open.spotify.com/artist/1MpofLeuema5D0edeUEoAD?si=vV7MQgcHSSaMBEG_o75CFw Music Matters with Darrell Craig Harris is sponsored by Shure Microphones. A Strangely Isolated Place

After Sa Pa's isolatedmix contribution last month, we continue in an unintentional alphabetical spectrum of brilliant producers, with Saphileaum. There comes a time after listening to some musicians for many years that certain instruments and musical approaches begin to stand out. Sure, most of the time you probably know what album you're sticking on the turntable, but when you have those days you put on shuffle (or when you're listening to 9128.live, cough cough), some producers start to stand out and trigger the music-geek in you from the first few seconds. It can take many years or decades to find and hone a unique style, but I think Georgian producer Andro Gogibedashvili is well on his way to carving out a unique style of organic, new-age ambient and tribal-infused techno. Saphileaum's isolatedmix is a perfect example of his style as a whole, with elements you might hear in his productions stylistically coming to the fore throughout the 25 tracks, despite not including a single track of his own in the mix. I sent Andro a few questions to complement this wonderfully energizing trip. Check out his latest release on the revered Mule Musiq label, and expect more music from him soon. ~I first came across your work in 2019 with Silent Season, how have things changed for you since? My first release on Silent Season called "The Traveler" was a sort of a turning point for me and my sound. It was music that I'd created after a pretty long break recording-wise. Since the release was out, a sort of a new journey began for me. I started making more tribalistic and electro-acoustic musical pieces and was also trying to balance them out with downtempo and half-beat grooves, sometimes a bit techno-like maybe too. I also dived a lot into Percussions and eventually ended up learning and playing on real Congas, Bongos, and Georgian Dhol. I'm still in the process of learning and hopefully, it will never end! The Traveler by Saphileaum I can start to recognize your style over the years which is often a sign of a great unique producer. But how would you describe your sound to someone new?Thank you very much! I appreciate it. I would describe my music as "Background Music", "Music which you play at gatherings", "Music for Meditation", "Music for looking at the night sky". I would describe the sound as Tribal, Ambient, Cosmic, Joyful and Relaxing. Your Discogs profile states "Saphileaum is highly inspired by esoteric, mystic, new age, cosmic and visionary art and teachings". Do you think New Age music is becoming more prevalent today? Is this something you aspire to? Yeah, I think New Age music is slowly starting to get more and more recognized. It is quite a young genre still, compared with the other ones. Plus, there are some musicians and producers who are pushing the boundaries of what New Age music can sound like and it's really amazing to see it grow. First thing that I immediately fell in love with, before listening to the actual music, was the name itself, New Age Music... Saphileaum - Transpersonal Experience by Saphileaum You've been on several labels over the years including Oslated, Constellation Tapes, Mysteries of the Deep, Mule Musique and Good Morning Tapes (the GMT released in 2021 was one of my favorites of yours). What is the goal of releasing on different labels? I look at labels as traveling to another country that I've never been to. Meeting new people, exploring its culture and heritage, and contributing to it. There are always new possibilities, new inspirations, and new crowds in every label. It's very important for me that a label where I release music has a sort of a musical or ideological vision that I share and like and that it's represented well visually. I should feel inspired by and connected to it.Can you tell us about the mix you have prepared? The mix was mainly inspired by the music I've been enjoying recently. It's ambient, but it's rhythmical and diverse. There are a few ethnic tracks that might sound similar, but they have elements that differ them culturally. I like the thin multicultural line it has, which might be tricky to notice, maybe. To be honest, there was no particular vibe I was after, I just wanted to create an interesting musical journey to enjoy. There are quite a few artists in here I'm unaware of, are there any you'd like to call out in particular? I would like to thank all the artists, whose music I've included in this mix, for creating these pieces and putting them out in the world. I recommend checking them all out, there's much more to explore! astrangelyisolatedplace · isolatedmix 126 - Saphileaum Listen on Soundcloud the ASIP Podcast or the 9128.live iOS and Android appDownload MP3Tracklist:1. Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Interviewing the Legends I'm your host Ray Shasho. Automatic Man Legend Todd Cochran Releases “From The Vault: Notes For The Future” Todd Cochran is an American pianist, composer, keyboardist, electronic musician, and conceptual artist. Early in his career he was also professionally known as Bayeté. Cochran started his career as a teenager with saxophonist John Handy. Two years later he joined vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson's Quartet and made his jazz recording debut composing and performing on a benchmark album for Hutcherson, “Head On” (Blue Note Records). Cochran's first solo project “Worlds Around the Sun” became a #1 jazz album. From the mid-1970s forward Todd has experimented with and incorporated synthesizers, electronic and mixed-media concepts in his creative projects while collaborating with a wide range of artists in the genres of jazz, art rock, pop, R&B, and twenty-first-century classical. Todd released two albums on Prestige Records in 1972 and 1973. He was keyboardist, principal composer, and lead singer of Automatic Man from 1976–1978 which also featured drummer Michael Shrieve (shreeve) and guitarist Pat Thrall. He was also a member of Fuse One, a coalition of jazz musicians who released two albums on CTI Records in 1980 and 1981. The shortlist of his collaborations includes Peter Gabriel, Joan Armatrading, Maya Angelou and Stewart Copeland. Freed from every day “isms” of convention and released from the symbolic containment of the vault, the music is an allegorical exploration in futurism. The stream running throughout the musical narrative is a speculative commentary about our human search for meaning, and we're reminded that as a version of our ancestors' vision, this quest never ends. “From The Vault” is structured around a sequence of recurring themes and develops as an unfolding tour of references, hints, and clues. Moving from one perspective to another, we connect with how our planet is perpetually in a state of seeking solutions. Within the soundscape, without words, an underlying language is speaking. Nature evolves for the sum of us, not the few. We are in a continual state of becoming. We are connected. Love is passed along, as is happiness. Nevertheless, expressly for the listener, an implied sense of reasoning encourages us to feel free and let go of all things familiar. And then, “over there” in the distance, we get a passing glimpse of the sacred structure. They talk about building successful and prosperous independent music careers in a genre often misunderstood and overlooked by the commercial market. ABOUT PETER KATERWebsite: http://www.peterkater.comFacebookTwitterYoutubeInstagram Listen to Peter KaterSpotifyApple MusicAmazon Music Peter Kater was born of German parents in the Bavarian City of Munich. At the age of seven, not long after moving to New Jersey, his mother insisted that he take classical piano lessons. At the age of 18 Peter left New Jersey with his backpack and his music books and hitch-hiked all around the continental US for over a year. He slept in parks and on beaches and roadsides across the country while stopping to play piano at restaurants and lounges for tips and meals. After logging in over 30,000 miles on the road Peter landed in Boulder, Colorado, finding comfort and inspiration in the Rocky Mountains which reminded him of his childhood upbringing in the Bavarian Alps. Shortly thereafter he started listening to the music of pianist Keith Jarrett; the avant jazz group, Oregon; and the Paul Winter Consort. This opened a whole new musical world and he began improvising 3-4 hours a night at clubs and lounges throughout the Boulder/Denver area sometimes 5 to 6 nights a week. After several years he tired of playing clubs and lounges and quit all his engagements and began renting out small churches and self-promoting small concerts through out Colorado. In 1983 Peter released his first album of solo piano compositions and improvisations entitled SPIRIT. His music was very well received and started charting in the Top 10 of National Contemporary Jazz Airplay charts and within a short couple of years Peter went from playing small churches to performing at 3,000 seat concert halls and at national jazz festivals at the age of 27. In 1985, Actor ROBERT REDFORD asked Peter to play at the then brand new Sundance Institute & Film Festival in Utah. Peter became the featured performer at many of Redford's “green” political fundraisers and events attended by many Hollywood A-list actors, directors and celebrities such as Alan Alda, Sidney Pollock, James Brooks, Dave Grusin, Laura Dern, Mathew Broderick and Ted Turner to name just a very few. In his concerts around Colorado, Peter started to share the stage with some of his favorite artists from his teen years such as DAN FOGELBERG and JOHN DENVER. John Denver asked Peter to coordinate the music for his ground breaking Choices for the Future Symposiums every summer in Aspen, Colorado and also invited him to perform at concerts in Japan and at World Forum events performing for dignitaries and celebrities such as Mikael Gorbachov and Shirley McLain. These collaborations with John Denver went on for almost 10 years until John's untimely death in 1997. Peter's music also caught the attention of New York City's legendary director and Circle Rep Theater co-founder, Marshall Mason and Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Lanford Wilson. Peter's music became the score to their Tony-Award winning Broadway production of Burn This starring John Malkovich and Joan Allen which ran for over one year. As the newest member of their “A-team” in the following years Peter scored the music for 11 On- & Off-Broadway dramatic plays receiving widespread critical acclaim. As Peter's music spread across the world he scored more music for television and films and worked closely with his favorite environmental and humanitarian organizations such as Greenpeace, the National Wildlife Federation, the Nature Conservancy and ChildReach. In 1989 a close friend gave Peter a cassette called Earth Spirit by Native American flutist, R. CARLOS NAKAI. Peter was completely taken by the beauty and earthiness of the Native flute. Peter tracked down Nakai and asked him to collaborate with him on a recording. In the studio they felt as if they'd been playing together forever and their first album, Natives, was completed effortlessly in just a few hours. When recording with Nakai, Peter felt he was embarking on a little “personal” indulgence, temporarily diverging from his thriving mainstream contemporary jazz career. But to his surprise, while his recordings like Coming Home, Two Hearts, Gateway and Rooftops were charting in the Top 10 of National Jazz charts; the new recordings with R. Carlos Nakai quickly became immensely popular in the alternative market selling 100's of thousands of units each and generated a solid and much more personal fan base. Because of the deep satisfaction Peter felt in co-creating this beautiful music with Nakai, he quickly lost interest in the “jazz” genres and shifted his focus to music of a more intimate “healing” nature. Peter then recognized a need for music in support of the healing arts that could actually aid in deep personal healing and transformation. He recorded albums like Compassion and Essence that provided not only a loving supportive musical landscape but also an invitation to dive deeply and safely into one's essential emotional and spiritual nature. Many more CD's in support of the Healing Arts followed as did more recordings with R. Carlos Nakai, seven of which charted in the Top 20 of Billboard's New Age chart. Peter's love and appreciation for the earth and indigenous cultures inspired him to invite more indigenous musicians to record on various projects with him including Native American vocalists Joanne Shenandoah, Bill Miller and Rita Coolidge; Native American flutists Robert Mirabal, Joseph Firecrow, Mary Youngblood, Douglas Blue Feather, Kevin Locke; and South American flutists Jorge Alfano and Ara Tokatlian. Peter also composed two songs for the immensely popular Sacred Spirit recording which sold over 5 millions copies in Europe alone. Peter's music continued to grow and evolve and found it's way into the 2000 and 2004 World Olympics, the Kentucky Derby, the Wild World of Sports and countless television shows like Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, LifeStyles of the Rich & Famous and Bay Watch to name just few. He's scored the music for acclaimed television series like How The West Was Lost; Wild America; Civil War: The Untold Story; Eco-Challenge and Joseph Campbell's Mythos series and films like Sirius, The Legend of Secret Pass and 10 QUESTIONS FOR THE DALAI LAMA. He's given concerts throughout the USA, Europe, Japan and South Korea including performances at the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, JFK Stadium in Washington DC, Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver and the United Nations in NYC where he received the prestigious United Nations Environment Leadership Award. Possibly one of Peter's strongest attributes is his love for collaboration with other artists such as Singer/songwriter Kenny Loggins; Tibetan flutist, Nawang Khechog; Sting guitarist Dominic Miller; Sacred Chantress Snatam Kaur and of course his legendary collaboration with Native American flutist, R. Carlos Nakai. He's also enjoyed performing and recording with many other talented musicians such as virtuoso reedman Paul McCandless; Maverick Cellist David Darling; Peter Gabriel's legendary Bassist, Tony Levin; and renowned Brazilian cellist Jaques Morelenbaum. Peter has often been called prolific and is said to have the “gift of melody”. His love and enthusiasm for the creative process, self-exploration, the healing arts and the natural world continues to inspire a well-spring of composing and recording. In a thriving career spanning over 3 decades and going strong, Peter Kater has recorded over 60 albums resulting in the sales of millions of units; has scored the music for well over 100 television and film productions including 11 On- and Off-Broadway dramatic plays; ands the recipient of dozens of awards and honors including 14 Grammy® nominations and a Grammy Award win for his 2017 Dancing On Water recording and his 2019 Wings recording. But most importantly his music has uplifted, soothed, healed and inspired the lives of millions of people all around the world.  ABOUT THE HOST PAUL CARDALLhttp://www.paulcardall.comhttp://www.facebook.com/paulcardallmusichttp://www.youtube.com/cardallhttp://www.instagram.com/paulcardall LISTEN TO HIS MUSICAPPLE MUSIC - https://music.apple.com/us/artist/paul-cardall/4312819SPOTIFY - https://open.spotify.com/artist/7FQRbf8gbKw8KZQZAJWxH2AMAZON - Ask Alexa to play Peaceful Piano by Paul Cardall Paul Cardall is an artist who has given a new meaning to the phrase, a change of heart and how he used this radical change to take his music to an unexpected place.  Despite being born with a potentially life-threatening heart defect Paul Cardall has become a world recognized pianist. Try Listening for 3 Minutes - Fall Asleep Fast - Lucid Dreaming Music with Reiki Chime Bells - Sleep Music. This sleep music and relaxing music is based upon the neural entrainment phenomenon. Our brains tend to synchronize to external stimulation, including auditory, visual, tactile, or electromagnetic stimuli. The human brain has an average of 86 billion neurons that communicate to form our thoughts, emotions, and behavior. When our neurons communicate en masse, it produces a synchronized electrical pulse known as a brainwave. With neural entrainment, our brainwaves can align to this auditory stimulation. As a result, we can stimulate our neurons and induce brainwaves in ways that could positively affect our psychology and physiology. We've heard about sound healing with Tibetan bowls, tuning forks, and Chakra bowls, but today we are discussing the power of New Age music when listened to intentionally with producer and artist David Vito Gregoli. And you will hear here, some of Vito's soundbites from his latest work. What is New Age music? It's a tremendously large sector of music often used in yoga classes, massage and spas, but the unique quality of New Age is that it speaks to your heart and brings you to a state of internal awareness. This is music that doesn't tell you how to feel, but allows you to feel what you feel. Many people think New Age is limiting to those who only practice alternative therapies or traditions, but this is a new kind of love song. World influence, chanting, ambient, flowing, dramatic and healing would be words that come to mind in describing this beautiful genre.Vito's musical journey began in Pop, Rock and Blues. By the time he was in his teens, he was already hailed as a guitar virtuoso and working regularly in the L.A. club scene. He later studied classical music and received a Bachelors in Music from CSUN. Vito's latest release is with 2x Grammy winner and environmentalist Ricky Kej. “Wild Monsoon” drops in June 2022. It's a eclectic blend of World Beat and New Age.Ricky and Vito paired last on Vito's “Om Land” album.Vito brings integrity and unique artistry to music that defies pigeon-holes. "I have the ability to hear something in everything I can see round the bend when someone plays me an idea. That inspires me in the job of Producer." Many of you are familiar with Michael Jackson's epic single "Earth Song." The track sees the artist sending out a wakeup-call about the natural devastation caused by mankind, from overexploitation of natural resources, to endless wars and to killing of animals. The late musical genius wasn't the only one using the power of music to confront the climate crisis. More musicians worldwide are expressing their concerns about the pressing issues through their works. Composer Deng Weibiao is a leading figure of New Age Music in China. Today he brings us several songs from his album "Rivers - Our Lifeblood," each portraying a famed river across the nation. It's hoped that his music will raise awareness on environmental conservation and encourage more people to reduce their impact on the environment.

Episode 38 Before “New Age” Music Playlist Irv Teibel, "Tintinnabulation (Contemplative Sound)" (excerpt) from Environments (New Concepts In Stereo Sound) (Disc 2) (1970 Syntonic Research).  This one side of the record is a rare work of purely electronic music in this series of ambient sounds. It uses computer-generated bell sounds, falling back on Teibel's experience processing sounds on an IBM 360 mainframe computer at Bell Labs. Electronically generated gongs are the key sound and the record was promoted for meditation. A sticker on the cover said "A Sensitizer for the Mind." We will listen to the first ten minutes of this track 30-minute track from the album. From the liner notes: “As an illustration of the possibilities currently under examination, Syntonic Research decided to experiment with bell sounds as an environmental sound source. . . . Tintinnabulation can be played at any speed, from 78 to 16 rpm, in full stereo. At different speeds, the sounds change in tone and apparent size, although the harmonics remain unchanged. The effect, unlike real bells, is fully controllable by the use of your volume, bass, and treble controls.” 10:11 Eberhard Schoener, “Meditation Part 2” from Meditation (1973 Ariola). Synthesizer and electronics, Eberhard Schoener. From the liner notes: “The voices are vocal transmissions. The material consists of white sound, sine, triangle, pulse and saw-tooth waves. No "live" or concrete sounds were used in the music.” This album is more in tune with the Environments approach, harmonies without musical structure. 18:19 Master Wilburn Burchette, “Yin” from Psychic Meditation Music (1974 Burchette Brothers). Impro-guitar, analog synthesizers and electronics, Wilburn Burchette. Californian spiritual, Burchette self-produced and distributed his records on the Burchette Brothers label in collaboration with his brother, Kenneth, from 1971 to 1977. He gave up music in the late 70s to self-publish his prophecies by newsletter. In Burchette's liner notes, he claimed to have discovered a new type of music called Impro. “Impro's transcendental tone scale takes you into the frontiers of human experience.” 18:06 Bill Reddie, “Starbody Suite” from Starbody (1974 Channel 1 Records). Produced and all instruments played by Bill Reddie. 20:08 Iasos, " Maha-Splendor" from Inter-Dimensional Music (1975 Unity Records). First album by this Greek master of the electric flute. Composed and played by Iasos, all instruments including synthesizers. Electronics consultant, Rich Hensolt. From the liner notes: “The music of one who, with his inner eye, envisions the vast magnificence of Creation and becomes so overwhelmed by its infinite splendor that he goes into a state of spiritual ecstacy.” 5:51 Steven Halpern, "Dancing Through The Rainbow Part 2" from Spectrum Suite (1976/79 Halpern Sounds). Composed, Produced, Fender Rhodes, Prophet 5 and Vako Orchestron synthesizers, Steven Halpern; electric flute, Iasos. The Vako Orchestron played pre-recorded sounds stored on an optical disc, primarily orchestral sounds as an alternative to the Mellotron. First of what would be thought of as a new age album from Halpern. There are many versions of this recording on cassette and LP. Originally released in 1975, this edition of the LP included for the first time the tracks "Dancing Through the Rainbow," parts 1 and 2. From the liner notes: “On this recording, his first in an entire series of Anti-Frantic Alternatives, Steven Halpern not only performs on his exquisite keyboard, but he plays YOUR human instrument as well.” 4:46 Robert Bearns & Ron Dexter, "Flowers of Our Childhood" from The Golden Voyage Vol. One (1977 Awakening Productions). Produced and played by (all instruments) Robert Bearns and Ron Dexter. The first is a series of six albums around the theme of The Golden Voyage, initially released on cassette. 5:04 Kitaro, "Mu/Dawn of the Astral" from Ten Kai/Astral Trip (1978 Polydor). Moog Synthesizer, Korg Synthesizer, ARP Synthesizer, Roland Synthesizer, Koto, Mandolin, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Percussion, Bass, Kitaro. First album by Kitaro, recorded in Japan. Album renamed Astral Voyage and reissued in 1985. From the liner notes: “This sound is not created by me, but is felt in my soul.” (Kitaro). 8:11 Kitaro, "Oasis" from Oasis/喜多郎(1979 Canyon). Korg, Roland, and Yamaha synthesizers, Acoustic Guitar, Percussion, Kitaro. 6:21 Bernard Xolotl with Daniel Kobialka, "Adieu" from Procession (1983 Nada Pulse). Composed, all instruments including synthesizers, vocoder, and guitar synthesizer, Bernard Xolotl; Violin, Viola, Daniel Kobialka. Self-produced and release album, originally on cassette in 1981. 8:18 Introductory montage includes snippets of Bearns and Dexter, Iasos, Bill Reddie (inclouding narration by Eugene Albright from “A Uni-chotometric Meditation (Narration With Music)” from Starbody (1974 Channel 1 Records), narration by Dr. John P. Sykes and the album Sleep-Relaxation (1972 Folkways). "Learning the art of proper relaxation is the best therapy for the human body." Opening and closing sequences voiced by Anne Benkovitz.

This is a massive deep sleep meditation designed to fill up every hour of your sleep cycle.   The intention of this deep sleep meditation is to use the concepts from Transurfing and reprogram your subconscious using your sleep.  This is a powerful technique that can completely change your subconscious mind.  I have found nothing more powerful.  This has over 2000 affirmations covering everything from health, wealth, out of body experiences, lucid dreaming and relationships.  There is deep hypnosis designed to change the way you think and the way you react as you move towards lifelines in your future. This is a combination of many meditations and is sort of a greatest hits all placed into a 8 hour cycle.   You can listen to this with a blue tooth sleep mask or regular earphones.   There are binaural affirmations using different affirmations in both ears.   There are theta and Delta Waves and almost every important frequency is used with incredibly music that is perfect for sleeping.   By request I also include several affirmations to make it easier to have out of body experiences, astral travel and increase lucidity while you dream.   This will reprogram the way you give energy to pendulums, subtly move your subconscious to balance allowing you to become aware of actions that create importance and excess potential leading to balancing forces.  This will allow you to find new potentials in the space of variations, listen to the Rustle of the Morning Stars and pull you into a wave of fortune. I also open up the ability for you to run simulations in the alternative space.   If you listen to this repeatedly it could transform your life forever. Your sleep and dreams will never be the same. The music has the most powerful sleep music that I could found, most of this is from Mettaverse with multiple tracks. - 111hz The Divine Frequency- 432hz lucid dreaming 4hz theta and 8hz alpha waves- Soothing Strings 333hz angelic frequency- 417hz sacral chakra remove negative energy and facilitate change- 432hz Harmony intuition balance you are pure potentiality- 432hz Dissolve Stress and Tension- music of the spheres aligning with the harmony of creation 432z- Into the Omniverse, 963hz Pineal activation meditation- Still the mind and ease anxiety Aeolian wind harp in G- 639hz  increase love and harmony cleanse negative energy positive meditation- 777hz deep relaxation- universal frequency 888hz quartz crystal bowl- Through the haze Ambient blade runner tribute meditation 582hz- Tibetan singing bowls rain and thunder 432 hz- Ascension Waves ✧ 444Hz ✧ Ambient Healing Celestial Music-Sound Medicine ✧ 528Hz DNA Integrity & 787Hz (Universal Remedy) Rife Frequency ✧ Ambient Music-432Hz - Deep sleep // Night sounds // Relaxing Ambient Music-Rejuvenating Sleep / Reconnect with Nature / Binaural Beat 3-Hz Delta Wave- deep relaxation clear negative energies and ease tension  396hz and 528hzMusic by Mettaverse ➤ Listen on Soundcloud: http://bit.ly/2KjGlLI➤ Follow them on Instagram: http://bit.ly/2JW8BU2➤ Join them on Facebook: http://bit.ly/2G1j7G6➤ Subscribe to their channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyvj...Constellation (Delta) by Christopher Lloyd Clarke. https://www.christopherlloydclarke.com. The latest video release from visionary artist Kaliyani, Tears for Inanna, unveils captivating melodies with stunning visuals, exploring the powerful archetypal myth of the most revered Sumerian goddess of love, power and sovereignty. Kaliyani’s mesmerizing vocal intonations exude the Divine Feminine, bringing forth an authentic and inspiring expression of soul. Tears for Inanna is Brazilian-born Kaliyani’s powerful second release. Her debut video, “Nammu’s Invocation,” garnered more than 2 million views on YouTube and was number two on the Billboard Hot Single chart earlier this year. Both songs and music videos were a collaboration with Hollywood composer/filmmaker Riz Story (writer, director and producer of A Winter Rose which features Kaliyani’s first single). Seamlessly weaving visions of sensuality into a primordial context, Tears for Inanna is a beautiful manifestation of a generally misunderstood archetypal myth. Inanna challenges us to review our belief systems, particularly with respect to our culture’s view on sexuality and the role of the sacred feminine throughout history. Kaliyani radiates this sacred Inanna energy in the video, the enchantment of her powerful yet graceful vocalizations leading the way. Kaliyani’s musical style elegantly blends exotic world music with complex transcendent qualities. Emotive and alluring, her vocals summon Operatic and Gregorian styles, while her music uniquely delves into dramatic, contemporary orchestration profoundly rich in structure. A spiritual and creative visionary, Kaliyani discovered only recently her singing voice. A remarkable distinction of Kaliyani’s music career is that she is more connected to the content and soul of what is being expressed rather than taking pleasure from the act of singing alone.

RevKess plays a selection of new age and Pagan music to honor our fallen heroes. Today is Memorial Day in the United States. A day set aside by the government to honor our fallen heroes. Usually this means service men and women who have died in action. For some it is also a time to honor those within their family who have passed away, for whatever reason. RevKess's family used to visit the family cemetery plots and place wreathes and flowers on the graves of everyone who had gone before, regardless of their military status. Over the years this has changed. His mother still does what she can, but being in her 70's she has slowed down a little. Tonight, RevKess would like to honor both those who have fallen in battle and those who have been heroes of one sort or another to many of us in the Pagan world. Expect to hear a selection of music from the somber to the funny. Some of the music may be from those very heroes.

He used to participate in music shows and local competitions as a singer. Later on he felt the need to provide instrumental backing to his singing, so he began learning keyboard playing. It was then that he got acquainted with new age music or contemporary instrumentals, particularly by listening to Yanni and Vangelis. The idea of implementing several instruments into one single track seemed fascinating and challenging. However he did not have proper recording equipment and synthesizers by then. He came to United States for higher studies, and built up a small home studio for his musical projects, and has been continuing ever since. He released his first New Age album on June 2013. It's called "Dreaming the Afterlife." It is a collection of contemporary instrumental compositions and piano solo renditions. The entire album was produced in his home studio including the composing, orchestration, recording and mastering. The artwork was created by combining and editing many images of Sun and clouds, photographed by his friend Anshuman Dubey. It is a detailed depiction of a dream that he saw, which propelled him to work on this album. https://www.cdbaby.com/cd/sonaljit https://soundcloud.com/sonaljit/sets/dreaming-the-afterlife

Do you love inspiring music that you can meditate, write or just relax too? I do and while I was at a recent event in NY City I had the treat of listening to the amazing music of David Young. David has an incredible story of extreme hardship to selling over 1,000,000 copies of his cds all from the humble beginnings of playing his recorder as a starving artist on Venice Beach. He didnt find his way to the world stages of Paul McCartney, Ray Charles, George Harrison and countless other renowned musicians through accidents instead he gives the credit to his strong intuition and also wrote a book on Divine Inner Guidance that shares his magical adventures that led him to where he is today. If you have been perplexed by finding great new age music or are in need of true inspiration you dont want to miss this show! Taking your questions too! 347 215 9485
