(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Human Rights Conference in Berlin Highlights Christian Persecution Human rights experts met in Berlin, Germany last Wednesday, highlighting the increased persecution of Christians worldwide.  The International Society for Human Rights released a new report on Christian persecution at the conference.  The report notes that Christians suffer under dictatorial states like China, Cuba, and North Korea. They remain victims of discrimination and violence without state protections in countries like Egypt, Syria, Nigeria, India, and Myanmar. And believers face persecution in Islamic republics like Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan.  The conference also highlighted the suffering of Ukrainian Christians under Russian occupation. Johann Matthies with the Evangelical Alliance in Germany said, “Russian occupation authorities are specifically targeting Ukrainian religious communities: they are pressuring churches to cooperate or destroying them if they refuse.” Psalm 34:15-16 says, “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.” President Trump Continues Efforts to End Russian-Ukrainian War U.S. President Donald Trump continues his efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. President Trump spoke over the phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin last Thursday. He then met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House last Friday. President Trump also plans on meeting with President Putin in Budapest, Hungary in the coming weeks. Listen to comments from President Trump. TRUMP: "I met with President Zelensky, as you know, today, and we had a very good meeting; very cordial meeting. In my opinion, they should stop the war immediately. You stop at the battle line, and both sides should go home, go to their families, stop the killing, and that should be it. Stop right now at the battle line. I told that to President Zelensky. I told it to President Putin. Thank you very much, everybody." Russia Proposes a Rail Tunnel Under the Bering Strait Reuters reports Russia proposed a “Putin-Trump” rail tunnel under the Bering Strait to link the two nations. The eight billion dollar proposal follows President Donald Trump's phone call with President Vladimir Putin. Russia's proposal would involve building a 70-mile rail and cargo tunnel between Alaska and Russia's eastern region of Chukotka. The plan suggested Elon Musk's Boring Company for the construction project. President Trump called the idea “interesting,” saying, “We'll have to think about that.”  Trump Moves to Reduce the Cost of IVF Last Thursday, President Donald Trump announced a deal with the pharmaceutical industry to reduce the cost of in vitro fertilization. The Trump administration hailed the move as pro-family. However, pro-life groups are criticizing the plan.  LifeSiteNews noted, “The IVF process is gravely unethical as it entails the conscious creation of scores of ‘excess' embryonic humans only to be killed and human lives being treated like commodities to be bartered over. It has been estimated that more than a million embryos are frozen in storage in the United States following IVF, and that as many as 93 percent of all embryos created through IVF are eventually destroyed.” Conservative Anglicans Split from the Church of England Conservative Anglicans formally split from the Church of England last week. The Global Anglican Future Conference, also known as GAFCON, declared itself to be the Global Anglican Communion. It will no longer participate in meetings called by the Church of England's Archbishop of Canterbury.  Sarah Mullally is the recently appointed Archbishop of Canterbury. She is the first female to hold the position and supports same-sex blessings. Bishop Laurent Mbanda is the chairman of the GAFCON Primates' Council as well as the Primate of Rwanda. He wrote, “We cannot continue to have communion with those who . . . abandoned the inerrant word of God as the final authority.” Isaiah 8:20 says, “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Pew Research: Divorce Rates are Down in the U.S. And finally, Pew Research reports divorce rates, and specifically refined divorce rates, are down in the U.S. Unlike the overall divorce rate, the refined divorce rate takes into account changes in the number of people who are married at any given time.  This refined divorce rate peaked in the U.S. around 1980 at 22.6 divorces per 1,000 married women. By 2023, it had declined to 14.4 divorces per 1,000 married women.  The report noted that married men are more likely to be employed than divorced men. Then, they detained three church members. In John 15:18, Jesus said, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first.” Multiple worshippers livestreamed the arrests on Facebook. Within two hours, the video had been seen 60,000 times. After Putin-Trump meeting, Trump declared: “It's up to Zelenskyy” In a join press conference with U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin summarized his perception of what needed to happen to end the Russo-Ukrainian War. And we've said it multiple times, to consider all legitimate concerns of Russia and to reinstate a just balance of security in Europe and in the world on the whole. “Naturally, the security of Ukraine should be ensured as well. I would like to hope that the agreement that we've reached together will help us bring closer that goal and will pave the path towards peace in Ukraine.” Following the press conference, President Donald Trump talked to Sean Hannity on Fox News Channel. HANNITY: “If you had to grade it on a scale of one to 10?” TRUMP:  “I think the meeting was a ‘10' in the sense that we got along great. And it's good when, you know, two big powers get along, especially when they're nuclear powers. You know, we're number one, they're number two in the world.  That's a big deal. You never want to even mention that word, the word nuclear.” President Trump addressed how it went and what the next step is to bring the Russo-Ukrainian War to a close. TRUMP: “We were together almost three hours, and it was very extensive, and we agreed on a lot of points. I mean, a lot of points were agreed on, but there's not that much as you know, one or two pretty significant items, but I think they can be reached. Now, it's really up to [Ukrainian] President [Volodymyr] Zelenskyy to get it done.” Costco will not sell Abortion Kill Pill Costco Wholesale Corp. has announced it will not dispense the abortion kill pill mifepristone at its U.S. pharmacies, a decision hailed by pro-life advocates as a significant victory, reports LifeNews. The abortion kill pill has been responsible for killing millions of babies and killing and injuring countless women. The retail giant's decision comes amid pressure from Christian investors and pro-life groups urging major retailers to refrain from distributing the abortion drug. Massachusetts is Sanctuary state for transgender surgery on kids Massachusetts has become a “sanctuary state” for transgender procedures on children, report MassResistance. Shockingly, Massachusetts doctors who break other states' laws prohibiting transgender procedures will be protected from prosecution -- and their names hidden from the public.  While 25 states have banned such foolishness, the Massachusetts Legislature passed the so-called “shield law” on July 31, 2025. It is among the most aggressive and offensive anti-family laws anywhere in America. Days later, the state's radical lesbian Democratic Governor Maura Healy, who is in a sinful relationship with Joanna Lydgate, signed it into law. Dr. Elizabeth Boskey at Boston Children's Hospital revealed the hospital is willing to remove a 15-year-old girl's healthy breasts. BOSKEY: “The eligibility for getting gender-affirming surgeries at Boston Children's Hospital is basically the same as it would be for most other hospitals or surgeons in the United States. And that's the case because we all follow the World Professional Association for Transgender Health standards of care. “For top surgery, you are requested,  but not required, to have been on gender-affirming hormones for at least a year. If you're a ‘trans woman,' it's really encouraged that you be on estrogen for at least a year, because you want to maximize your natural breast growth. “Many surgical centers require you to be 18. At Boston Children's Hospital, for top surgeries, we'll see people as young as age 15, if they've been affirmed in their gender for a long period of time and don't really have any other life complications that make surgery inappropriate.” 41 Planned Parenthood abortion mills have closed this year Ready for some great news? So far this year, the Planned Parenthood abortion business has closed 41 centers. William Carey, father of modern missions, said,  And finally, 264 years ago yesterday, a very special man was born in England. Reports are also beginning to emerge about what the two leaders talked about. Trump and Putin will leave this photo-op having agreed on something utterly agreeable to Putin. Like the cease fire Axios reports Trump told European leaders yesterday he really wants. You know what THAT could be: Putin will agree to a cease-fire if Ukraine will stop annoying Putin by defending its territory. Then Trump will claim a victory. Then Ukraine will reject it – although President Zelensky’s real play is to say it is too naïve an idea to even merit a comment, and any child can see that – then Trump will blame Zelensky and say he resolved the war except for the war part. That Zelensky screwed it up. Actually it may be worse. The Times of London headline: “US and Russia ‘propose West Bank-style occupation of Ukraine." Per its source close to the U.S. national security council: "It’ll just be like Israel occupies the West Bank. With a governor, with an economic situation that goes into Russia, not Ukraine. But it’ll still be Ukraine, because … Ukraine will never give up its sovereignty. But the reality is it’ll be occupied territory and the model is Palestine.” THIS IS THE TEST MARKETING OF THE MILITARY DICTATORSHIP: Trump says sure he'll go to Congress to get the use of troops authorized in DC past the 30-day limit. Or he'll just declare a national emergency. He boasts he closed the border and didn't get anybody's permission. He is moving towards the takeover. We are this close to him in the Kim Jong Un hat. THE TRUMPSTEIN COVER-UP CONTINUES: Karoline "Noble Prize" Leavitt explains Trump “wants to see credible evidence released." The part she leaves out is that of course he wants to make sure that this evidence is NOT released. The past week has seen a frenzy of diplomatic activity on Ukraine, culminating in Donald Trump's extraordinary announcement that he will host Vladimir Putin in Alaska for talks on the war. Setting aside the propriety of Putin visiting the United States (he launched this war of aggression and is wanted by the ICC for the systematic abduction of Ukrainian children) what could such a summit actually achieve? Would Ukraine really be willing to trade land for a ceasefire? And would Putin simply use a pause in hostilities to regroup? I put these questions and more to Evelyn Farkas, a longtime Ukraine specialist who is now the CEO of the McCain Institute. We spoke just hours before Trump announced the Alaska summit and we kick off with a discussion about the current state-of-play of the conflict on the ground before discussing the prospects of a diplomatic solution to this conflict.
