Cut Traded Fired Retired

In 1977, he proudly wore an “Orange Crush” T-shirt and dreamt of being a Denver Bronco someday. The dream came true for K.C. Jones and even included a Super Bowl Championship, but it didn't last nearly as long as he had hoped. K.C. was born in Colorado and moved to Texas when he was 8. Everything is bigger in Texas, including K.C. who excelled on the offensive line. He had countless scholarship offers and opted for sunny Miami. Along with great weather came an always-ready-to-fight Hurricane team that included Ray Lewis and Warren Sapp who he faced daily in practice as the ‘Canes center. Despite a great college career, he wasn't drafted because of injuries throughout his high school and college careers. That meant he could try to make his dream come true and be a member of the Denver Broncos as a college free agent. He made the roster and was a member of Denver's legendary offensive line and Super Bowl XXXIII team. He also continued to deal with too many injuries and was eventually cut by Mike Shanahan. In retirement, K.C. got his degree and does financial planning. To get in touch with K.C., email him at info@kcjones.us

Tim May is back with a special edition of the Tim May Podcast to honor the life and career of former Ohio State defensive back William White, who died Thursday. White was just 56 years old. White battled ALS for the last six years following his diagnosis in 2016. White played safety for the Buckeyes from 1984-1988, where he became a fourth-round draft pick to the Detroit Lions in the 1988 NFL Draft. He played 11 seasons in the league, spending time with the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons. White played in Super Bowl XXXIII with the Falcons. During his time with the Buckeyes, White was coached by a young assistant: Urban Meyer. That relationship blossomed into a friendship, and former Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer is here with Tim May to share stories of William White through his own lens. #OhioState #cfbnews (Scott W. In a week rife with quarterback dealings, Tuesday's news that the Denver Broncos were acquiring Pro Bowl QB Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks for a package of picks and players might have been the most league-altering. For one thing, it ended Wilson's iconic, decadelong stay in Seattle — one that brought the team a championship, two Super Bowl appearances and (early in Wilson's tenure) one of the strongest multi-year runs in NFL history. It also shipped an elite passer to a Denver team that finished last season third in scoring defense, providing the ingredients for a potential Super Bowl recipe next season. Moreover, the move to add Wilson gives Denver yet another name to add to its ongoing quarterback carousel — one it's hoping is the last for a while. Much has been made about how this trade provides the Broncos with their long-sought-after replacement for Peyton Manning, who retired after the 2015 season. But things go back even further than that. In the 23 seasons since the retirement of John Elway — who is now the team's president of football operations — after a win in Super Bowl XXXIII, the Broncos have gone through 11 different primary starting QBs

The 1972 Miami Dolphins were getting antsy. Their title as the league's only undefeated team was in jeopardy. With just three games left in the 1998 season, the 13-0 Denver Broncos played relentlessly and boasted a Hall of Fame talent in exactly the right spot. At quarterback, 38-year-old John Elway played with the joy of an athlete in the prime of his career. Plus, star tailback Terrell Davis was on his way to becoming just the fourth player in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards in one season. Add to this mix the Orange Crush defense, and the Broncos believed they had the stuff for an unbeaten season. But it wasn't to be. The New York Giants upset the Broncos in Week 15. Still, Denver didn't allow the letdown affect them for very long. The Broncos may not have matched the '72 Dolphins, but they did wallop the '98 Dolphins and the Jets in the playoffs en route to Super Bowl XXXIII. There, John Elway won MVP honors in his final game, throwing for 336 yards as Denver won back-to-back world titles.

He grew up in a predominantly black neighbourhood, where he was often bullied. As a child he showed affinity toward comics and music, particularly rapping. He had a difficult childhood and he was never on good terms with his mother. He was, however, close to her half-brother, Ronnie. Marshall's education suffered as a result of constant troubles with his mom and he dropped-out of 'Lincoln High School,' when he was seventeen.   109.    Career: When Marshall was fourteen years old, he started rapping and attenditg contetst with his friend DeShaun Dupree Holton, who later became famous as rapper Proof. The two friends formed their own group called 'D12' or 'The Dirty Dozen,' in 1996. Also in 1996, Eminem (@16) brought out his first album titled 'Infinite.' The album was recorded under the banner of 'FBT Productions,' and included songs that spoke about the struggles he faced after the birth of his daughter, at a time when he was financially unstable. His financial condition had worsened and by 1997, he was forced to live in his mother's house with his family. During this time, to let go of the frustration building inside him, he created an anti-social alter-ego named 'Slim Shady.' He even recorded his first extended play by the same name in the same year.   110.    After he was fired from his job and evicted from his home, Eminem went to Los Angeles to compete in the 1997 Rap Olympics, an annual, nationwide battle rap competition. He placed second, and an Interscope Records intern in attendance called asked Eminem for a copy of the Slim Shady EP, which was then sent to company CEO Jimmy Iovine. Iovine played the tape for record producer Dr. Dre, who recalled sayingd, "In my entire career in the music industry, I have never found anything from a demo tape or a CD. When Jimmy played this, I said, 'Find him. Now.'" Although Dre's friends criticized him for hiring a white rapper, he was confident in his decision: "I don't give a fuck if you're purple; if you can kick it, I'm working with you."   111.    In February 1999, Dr. Dre helped Eminem release an album titled 'The Slim Shady LP,' which immediately catapulted him to fame. With hits like 'My Name Is,' '97 Bonnie and Clyde,' and 'Guilty Conscience,' it was one of the most successful albums of the year.   112.    Movie Scene: The Best Man   113.    Harper Stewart (Taye Diggs), a commitment-shy writer and the best man at the wedding of Lance (Morris Chestnut) and Mia (Monica Calhoun), is nervous-and with good reason. His steamy new novel hits bookstores soon, and when his friends finally read it he knows they will notice more than just a passing resemblance to the characters depicted in the book.   114.    Director: Malcolm D. Lee, Debut film [Undercover Brother (2002), Roll Bounce (2005), Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins (2008), Soul Men (2008), Scary Movie 5 (2013), The Best Man Holiday (2013), Girls Trip (2017), and Night School (2018)]   115.    Cast: Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, Terance Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa, Terrence Howard, Regina Hall [*Film Debut]   116.    'The Best Man': A Joyous Occasion [By Lonnae O'Neal Parker Washington Post Staff Writer, Oct 1999]   117.    This smart debut from filmmaker Malcolm D. Lee, cousin to the film's producer, Spike, centers around a group of old friends who reunite in New York for a wedding. Tapping into the Zeitgeist of young black professionals starving to see themselves on film, it hits all the right cultural touchstones: from BET to Stevie Wonder, Chubb Rock to bid whist. Although the film is produced by Spike Lee, don't expect racial politics. And while comparisons to another black wedding-themed movie starring Taye Diggs, "The Wood," are bound to come up, resist.   118.    James Berardinelli - Reelviews   119.    The Best Man is not what it initially seems to be. Despite starting out with all the earmarks of a fairly ordinary romantic comedy, the project develops into a surprisingly effective look at a man's quest for rebirth after events topple him from a pedestal of arrogance. And, while there are plenty of laughs to be had, The Best Man functions better as a light drama than a straight comedy, with several scenes packing a punch because they're played straight. The film is the directorial debut of Malcolm D. Lee (Spike's cousin), who may have gotten this chance because of family connections but shows enough promise to earn further opportunities on his own.   120.    The Best Man (1999) - 1½ Stars [Reviewed by Dustin Putman, October 1999]   121.    As with 1997's melodramatic, corny "Soul Food," and last summer's "The Wood," which also starred Diggs in a story set around a wedding(!), "The Best Man" aspires to be something more than it actually is. Kudos to Lee for trying his hand at a more knowledgeable picture that all audiences (not just African-Americans) might enjoy, but he also gets more than his share of debits for its severely flawed treatment. At over two hours in length, "The Best Man" thankfully never overstays its welcome and goes by fairly fast, but by the time the Electric Slide was carried out by everyone at the wedding reception over the end credits, I realized that the actors deserved far better. As is, the conclusion plays like an excuse for each of the cast members to give themselves a pat on the back, when they really didn't earn that pat to begin with.   122.    Denzel Washington, film debut in Carbon Copy (1981) and in 1982, Denzel made his first appearance in the medical drama St. Elsewhere as Dr. Philip Chandler. The role proved to be the breakthrough in his career.   123.    Nominated for Best Supporting Actor: Cry Freedom (1988) and Glory (1990)(*won)   124.    Nominated for Best Actor for Malcolm X (1993)   125.    1981 Carbon Copy / 1984 A Soldier's Story / 1986 Power / 1987 Cry Freedom / 1988 For Queen and Country / 1989 The Mighty Quinn / 1989 Glory / 1990 Heart Condition / 1990 Mo' Better Blues / 1991 Mississippi Masala / 1991 Ricochet / 1992 Malcolm X / 1993 Much Ado About Nothing / 1993 The Pelican Brief / 1993 Philadelphia / 1995 Crimson Tide / 1995 Virtuosity / 1995 Devil in a Blue Dress / 1996 Courage Under Fire / 1996 The Preacher's Wife / 1998 Fallen / 1998 He Got Game / 1998 The Siege / 1999 The Bone Collector / 1999 The Hurricane - [25 films]   126.    Samuel L. But it wasn't until The Cosby Show became a ratings juggernaut in the mid '80s that networks finally saw the potential in investing heavily in sitcoms with black leads.   133.    And so the '90s became a decade in which more black sitcoms than ever made it onto TV   134.    Naturally, given the success of The Cosby Show, a lot of shows that followed featured families. But they didn't just simply copy the formula.   135.    The lives of younger people took center stage as well in the '90s. So, instead of being the token black friend within the larger context of a show, black teens, college students, 20-something professionals became the vehicle for funny and even poignant stories.   136.    The '90s turned hugely talented black comedians and actors into stars who remain household names to this day, and it goes to show the impact that being given a seat at the table and a voice on prime time television can accomplish.   137.    Here are 18 black '90s sitcoms that we love do this day for the impact they had on our lives then and now.   138.    'A Different World' (1987-1993): One of the show's major accomplishments was being among the first to tackle real issues like date rape, racism, and HIV, things that the Cosby Show had avoided. A Different World is the gem that created a bridge to the '90s black sitcom boom.   139.    'Family Matters' (1989-1997): The longest-running sitcom about a black family (it spanned nine seasons to The Cosby Show's eight), Family Matters was not only funny -- especially after introducing super-nerd Urkel -- but managed to balance big laughs with more serious moments. There were episodes that centered around civil rights history and police mistreatment of young black men, and a wide-ranging audience got to see them, thanks to the show's across-the-board popularity.   140.    'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' (1990-1996): Nestled between Will Smith's rapping days and his status as one of the world's most bankable A-list movie stars was The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which made his a household name and produced one of the longest-running fan debates in TV history on which of the two actresses who played Aunt Viv was the best one.   141.    'Roc' (1991-1994): Before Charles S. Dutton went on to win three Emmys for his work on other shows, he starred in this underrated and brief series that was fairly typical sitcom until the second season, which aired each episode live. Roc was a treat because Dutton and several of the other cast members were trained stage actors.   142.    'Martin' (1992-1997): Martin Lawrence was all edge when he wasn't doing Martin. (One of his stand-up specials was slapped with an NC-17 rating, and he was banned from Saturday Night Live for delivering a hilariously raunchy monologue.) That makes it all the more interesting that on the show Martin, he played a lovably manic man-boy. We lost count of how many characters Martin played on the show (in disguise), each one of them hilarious in their own specific way.   143.    'Hangin' With Mr. Cooper' (1992-1997): This sitcom had a great cast, including comedian Raven-Symoné, Holly Robinson Peete, and Mark Curry.   144.    'Living Single' (1993-1998): The show marked the first time that we saw young black women portrayed as professionals and given well-rounded personalities, have healthy relationships, and pave the way for black female-centered shows - nlike Girlfriends and Insecure.   145.    'Sister, Sister' (1994-1999): There are so many reasons why we loved Sister,Sister, and one of them was that the show would occasionally break the fourth wall and talk directly to the audience, which made us feel part of the action. But the show also had layers that deepened its story: The girls had been the product of an interracial relationship between a black mom and a white dad who never had the chance to marry before being separated in tragic circumstances.   146.    'In The House' (1995-1999): It wasn't the world's best sitcom, but hey, LL Cool J has always been a snack.   147.    'The Parent 'Hood' (1995-1999): One of the four original Wednesday night shows that helped launched the WB (The Wayans Bros was another), what sets the show apart are the whimsical fantasy sequences that the dad dreams up to help him solve family issues in a creative and unexpected way.   148.    'The Wayans Bros.' (1995-1999): In Living Color, it's not, but this sitcom from younger Wayans siblings Shawn and Marlon is still simple fun that doesn't require too many brain cells -- and that can be a good thing.   149.    'Moesha' (1996-2001): Moesha centered around a black teenager diving into deeper explorations of all kinds of relationships and left cliffhangers in several story lines dangling when it was canceled.   150.    'The Jamie Foxx Show' (1996-2001): Fresh off the groundbreaking comedy sketch show In Living Color and before he becoming an movie star, Jamie Foxx starred as an aspiring actor who works at his relatives' hotel.   151.    'Kenan & Kel' (1996-2000): Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell were Nickelodeon's first black sitcom stars, having landed their own show when producers saw them joking around on the set of All That when they were series regulars.   152.    'The Steve Harvey Show' (1996-2002): A big highlight is the constant guest star roster that's a who's who of black TV stars and musicians -- like Snoop Dogg, Diddy, Kim Fields, and Ja’Net DuBois of the classic sitcom Good Times.   153.    'The Hughleys' (1998-2002): Two decades before Black-ish tackled a similar premise, The Hughleys featured a family that lives in a predominantly white neighborhood.   154.    'The Famous Jett Jackson' (1998-2001): This show had just 65 episodes but has a special place in our hearts as the first Disney Channel show to feature a black actor as the lead. The immensely talented and magnetic Lee Thompson Young starred as Jett Jackson, a kid who tries to live a normal life when he's not filming. Thompson tragically died at age 29, after struggling with bipolar disorder and depression, but the heartwarming show lives on.   155.    'The Parkers' (1999-2004): It's no surprise that one of the most down-to-earth black sitcoms from the '90s starred Mo'Nique as a single mom who dropped out of high school to raise her baby.   156.    Question: Most Liked Show of the 90’s?   157.    Vote: Best/most important/favorite pop culture item from 1999

On the fourth episode of “Great Dane Nation,” Morten is joined by his Pro Football Hall of Fame brother and Denver Broncos legend Terrell Davis (04:16 – 48:01). But first, he checks in with TommyFreezePops (Tom Carroll) to talk about breaking news in the NFL (01:24). With the recent outbreak of COVID-19 within the Tennessee Titans organization, the NFL has announced that the Titans’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week is going to be postponed, with the possibility of the game being played on either Monday or Tuesday night. Morten gives his instant reaction, and the guys share their desire for “Tuesday Night Football” becoming a permanent fixture in the football schedule moving forward (02:08).We then move to our interview with Terrell, where he discusses a wide array of topics: being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the same year as Morten (05:52); how Morten spent the day of the induction drinking with his buddies at an Irish pub to stay loose before his big speech, while Terrell sat around and stressed over what he’d say at the podium (07:12); why Terrell is jealous of Morten for bailing on post-ceremony obligations to hit his after-party early (10:27); why winning Super Bowl MVP in his hometown was special, but wasn’t as fun of a night as it could have been (12:20); why dealing with migraines during Super Bowl XXXII forced him to party extra hard after beating Morten in Super Bowl XXXIII (14:15); Morten’s “losers party” after losing to Terrell in the Super Bowl (15:15); why he ranks his first Super Bowl victory over his second (16:45); dealing with the adversity of being on a football team at Long Beach State when the program was cut (17:34); why he wanted to transfer to UCLA, but ended up landing at Georgia (21:30); why he butted heads with Georgia head coach Ray Goff, and how that led to Terrell learning some of the most important lessons in his life (23:53); how he was able to rise from 6th to 1st on the Broncos depth chart during his rookie training camp (33:20); how a huge play on special teams in a preseason game changed how the Broncos felt about him (35:42); a rundown of Terrell’s incredible four-year stretch to open his NFL career (39:50); why he believes Von Miller is the 2nd greatest Bronco of all-time (41:35); his unique connection to Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (42:30); why Terrell’s story about Lindsay resonates so much with Morten (45:00); and the embarrassing statistic that both Terrell and Morten share (46:25).Then, TommyFreezePops is joined by Kevin Rogers for his weekly check-in with the experts from VegasInsider.com (50:21 – 58:37). With the Broncos playing on Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets, the guys talk about what Denver’s ceiling can be this season with a banged-up Drew Lock (51:08). They also talk about the Patriots heading into Kansas City for a marquee match-up in the AFC (52:48), the Ravens as heavy road favorites in their regional rivalry game against Washington (54:41), and the Monday Night Football match-up between the red-hot Green Packers and the ice-cold Atlanta Falcons (56:31).Finally, we close things out with Morten’s “Game Winner” – a weekly segment where Morten monologues his biggest takeaway of the week. This week, he talks about his friend Terrell Davis, and how he has taken the meaning of the word “efficiency” to a whole new level (58:37).

Super Bowl XXXIII was a one sided bore, but halftime gave viewers at least three options: the regular halftime show featuring Gloria Estefan, Stevie Wonder, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy on Fox, Celebrity Deathmatch’s Deathbowl ‘99 on Fox, and Mankind vs. the Rock in an empty arena for the WWF Championship on USA. We watched all three to let you know what you should’ve watched 21 years ago. You’re welcome.Theme song “There Are Traitors in Our Midst” by Disco VietnamArt by Alexis Yavne

Players called him "The Prophet" because of his work ethic and for never missing a chance to lead the locker room in pre-game prayers. But on the night before Super Bowl XXXIII in Miami, Atlanta Falcons safety Eugene Robinson decided to go for a little drive. He ended up in the wrong place at the worst time, offering $40 to an undercover policewoman posing as a prostitute in exchange for oral sex. He played in the game the next day against the Denver Broncos, but he and the rest of the Dirty Birds couldn't overcome Robinson's big blunder.

January 31st / February 1st, 1999: At "Halftime Heat," The Rock defends his WWF Title against Mankind in an Empty Arena Match, but which of these bitter rivals will come out on top this time around? Then we move on to "Raw," where Vince McMahon comes up with a plan: he'll head to Victoria, Texas to provoke "Stone Cold" Steve Austin into hitting him, which would cancel their match at "St. Valentine's Day Massacre." Shane McMahon gets to run the show in Vince's absence, but his ego may once again get the better of him when he calls out his recent rival X-Pac. In our main event, the DX/Corporation feud continues to escalate as Triple-H steps into the ring with Kane.... inside of a steel cage. The Ministry of Darkness have their first match on "Raw" against The Brood, which results in The Undertaker attempting to murder Gangrel by hanging him with a noose. And as if that wasn't enough, The Ministry then proceeds to add some new members to the group later on in the show. The Rock and Mankind have another promo duel to set up their next match, and this face-off is highlighted by the fact that The Rock is legitimately losing his voice while he's speaking. After last week's miscommunication, Val Venis and Billy Gunn go head-to-head in an attempt to settle their differences while WWF Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock looks on from the commentary table. In a Hardcore Tag Team Match, "The Road Dogg" & Al Snow once again team up to face The Acolytes. P.M.S. continues to manipulate D'Lo Brown weeks after he accidentally caused Terri Runnels' miscarriage, and this time they're forcing him to wrestle The Big Boss Man. However, after the match ends, some new information about Terri's pregnancy comes to the forefront. Droz squares off with Kurrgan in what turns out to be the final match on "Raw" featuring a member of The Oddities. Mark Henry once again interrupts an interview with Debra, which proves to be a mistake for "Sexual Chocolate." In one of the more pointless segments in recent memory, The Blue Meanie provides us with an "all-male dance revue" for about ten seconds before Goldust thankfully attacks him. Plus, the WWF airs their classic commercial during Super Bowl XXXIII, Chyna cuts her first heel promo, we see what Max Mini looks like without his mask, and we find out which WWF employee starred in the 1995 "Mortal Kombat" movie! Meanwhile over on "Nitro," we get two hilarious instances of people botching someone else's name! Enjoying the Podcast? E-mail us at rawattitudepodcast@gmail.com or Tweet us @RawAttitudePod! Trip in the Way Way Back - Medical Marijuana and NFL Concussions

Dumbbells & Dragons

From the original blog, found here: https://dumbbellsanddragons.com/877/ Like many of us, I spent the last two weekends watching football. It was exciting, surprising, and, above all, entertaining. I followed the games along with my fantasy stats, cheered when my players scored, cursed when my opponents did. Then the injuries happened. Tony Romo out with a fractured clavicle, Alshon Jeffrey with a hurt hammy. And Luke Kuechly with a concussion. These days, it seems at least one player all 32 teams is going through the “concussion protocol,” a series of tests to protect players’ health. There are many sides to this debate, whether the onus is on the players or league to protect the players’ health. In a time where former NFL player Chris Borland retired after a single year citing the health risks as his reason. He had a bright future and could have made a lot of money as an NFL player. He chose his health. In a recent study, 76 of 79 deceased players’ brains were shown to have some sort of degenerative disease[1]. It’s really hard not to understand why Chris made the decision he did. A new development in treating brain injuries is on the horizon. Kannalife, a bio-pharmaceutical and phyto-medical company, has been studying Cannabinoids (CBD) for use in treatment[2]. We were lucky enough to sit down with former NFL defensive end and Super Bowl XXXIII champion, Marvin Washington to talk about CBD, Kannalife, NFL player safety, and a controversial new movie, Concussion, starring Will Smith as Dr. Bennet Omalu[3]. Highlights of the conversation will be discussed. To expand on the conversation with Marvin, CTE stands for chronic traumatic encephalopathy. If you are interested in learning more about the specifics of this, check out the CTE Wikipedia, here . In brief, its slang is NFL Concussion Syndrome, and in one study, 96% of former NFL players have it[4]. That’s a very scary number, especially when you see how popular the sport is. It’s essentially saying, if you play football at a professional level, you will get this disease and it will affect your life when you retire. How many of us have had to deal with a parent or grandparent with a cognitive disability? It’s painful. And there is no reason for it. Marvin mentioned that the numbers of young children and high school students playing football is down, but millions and millions of people are still playing this sport[5]. Whether or not to play the game is a conversation that needs to happen within families. As Marvin said, families and players are more educated about the risks. Marvin and I love football. And we want to see it grow, but safely, without a 96% likelihood of getting CTE. Hopefully, these issues will be brought to light this December when Concussion starring Will Smith is released on Christmas Day. Concussion is the story of Dr. Bennet Omalu, the forensic pathologist that discovered CTE. From the trailer (see below), it has Will Smith’s Oscar nom written all over it. This movie has the NFL running scared. They already are planning a rebuttal to the film[6]. This isn’t the first time the NFL has been involved in some concussion related scandal. Late in 2013, there were rumors the NFL pressured ESPN to distance itself from a PBS Frontline documentary, League of Denial: The NFL’s Concussion Crisis[7]. Regardless of whether or not the NFL pressured anyone, and regardless on the success of Will Smith’s movie. Concussions and CTE are problems. They warrant solutions, wherever they may be found. I met Marvin through contacts at the Cannabis World Congress and Business Expo in Los Angeles. Marvin spoke about the work of Kannalife, a company doing R&D on the medical benefits of CBD, of which he serves on the advisory board. Kannalife holds the exclusive license for the commercialization of CBD as an antioxidant and neuroprotectant. There is limited research showing the benefits of CBD to reduce short term brain damage[8]. For more on Kannalife, check them out here. CBD is a non-psychoactive aspect of marijuana. Meaning, it doesn’t get you high[9]. This gives CBD many positive medical aspects. Mostly because this limits the side effects. It isn’t used for recreational purposes like THC (the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana.). Even in states where medical and recreational marijuana use is legal, it doesn’t change the fact that marijuana is a banned substance in every sport! A UFC fighter just got suspended for five years because of it[10]! We are on the verge of some very exciting discoveries. In time, not only will CTE be a thing of the past, but very possibly dementia, Alzheimer’s, and ALS. What are your thoughts? How will the sports world deal with the new evidence that marijuana can be medically beneficial? Comment below! Stay strong, stay safe. #WorkOutNerdOut Send us your feedback online: https://pinecast.com/feedback/dumbbells--dragons/99664abf-e07c-44a9-9a6b-52323b482b42 This podcast is powered by Pinecast.

The Total Tutor Neil Haley and Blake Robinson will interview Pro Bowl NFC Rushing Leader Atlanta Falcon Jamal Anderson. He will discuss his football career. Jamal Sharif Anderson (born September 30, 1972) is a former American football running back of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round of the 1994 NFL Draft. He played high school football at El Camino Real High School, where he was named to the CIF Los Angeles City Section 4-A All-City first team in 1989.[1] He went on to play college football at Moorpark College for the Moorpark College Raiders before playing at Utah. Anderson earned a Pro Bowl selection in 1998, leading the NFC in rushing and helping the Falcons to an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIII. He suffered a career-ending knee injury in 2001 while finishing his eight-year career with 41 touchdowns and nearly 7,000 yards of offense.
