Ancien étudiant en philosophie, Léo a vécu dans un château avec sa compagne Sarah. Le couple partageait le château avec quatre autres personnes, dont David Nègre. Au fil des mois, l'atmosphère s'est détériorée sous l'influence de ce gourou spirituel. Léo a demandé à Sarah de partir, et ensuite, il a été violemment agressé et abandonné au château, les autres locataires ayant volé sa voiture en partant. Léo accuse David d'abus de faiblesse, de violences volontaires aggravées et d'incitation à la consommation de stupéfiants. Zijn macht is gebroken; hij heeft geen invloed meer op de gebeurtenissen en wacht gelaten het einde af.Ondertussen beleven Siegfried en Brünnhilde op aarde hun wittebroodsweken. Ze leren elkaar en de liefde kennen, en Brünnhilde inspireert Siegfried om de wereld in te trekken en heldendaden te verrichten. Bij hun afscheid schenkt Siegfried haar de ring als teken van zijn liefde. In ruil geeft Brünnhilde hem haar trouwe walkurenpaard Grane. Na een groots en hartstochtelijk afscheid vertrekt Siegfried richting de Rijn.Hij scheept zich in en vaart stroomopwaarts, langs de burchten aan de oever. Bij elke stop ontmoet hij edelen en vorsten, biedt hij zijn diensten aan en verricht hij heldendaden. Uiteindelijk bereikt hij Gibichheim, de burcht van de Gibichungen. Wat Siegfried echter niet weet, is dat hij daar al verwacht wordt…

Volle zehn Jahre hatten die Bayreuther Festspiele seit dem Beginn des Ersten Weltkriegs im Jahr 1914 pausiert, um bei der Wiederaufnahme des Festspielbetriebs im Sommer 1924 sogleich einen mittleren Eklat zu provozieren: In Anwesenheit zahlreicher prominenter Figuren der rechts-völkischen Szene wie etwa Erich Ludendorff geriet die Premiere der Meistersinger am 22. Juli zu einem Manifest nationalistischer Gesinnung, als das versammelte Publikum die berühmt-berüchtigte Schlussansprache des Hans Sachs wider den ‘welschen Tand‘ mit dem stehend gesungenen Deutschlandlied beantwortete. Ähnliche Reaktionen waren in Hamburg natürlich nicht zu verzeichnen, als wenige Wochen später im dortigen Stadt-Theater an der Dammtorstraße, dem Vor-Vorgängerbau der heutigen Hamburgischen Staatsoper, eine ähnlich lang ersehnte Neueinstudierung des Ring des Nibelungen über die Bühne ging. Berührungspunkte mit Bayreuth gab es indes hinsichtlich der Besetzung. Walter Soomer aus Leipzig, der in Bayreuth 1924 mehrere große Basspartien gesungen hatte, etwa war in Hamburg als Wotan engagiert. Und in durchaus etwas kurios anmutender Weise widmete der Kritiker des Hamburger Fremdenblattes, bei dem es sich vermutlich um Heinrich Chevalley handelt, am 26. August 1924 fast seine gesamte Rezension des Rheingold dieser Personalie. Es liest Frank Riede.

Hij komt Wotan tegen, die zijn ware identiteit niet kan onthullen. Tevergeefs vraagt Wotan om respect van Siegfried. Het komt tot een confrontatie tussen de twee, waarbij Siegfried Wotans speer verbrijzelt. Wotan beseft dat zijn heerschappij nu definitief voorbij is.Siegfried vervolgt zijn weg naar de rots. Hij doorkruist het vuur en, ergens tussen hemel en aarde, vindt hij zijn Brünhilde. Hij wekt haar met een kus...

We're chatting about our fave Greek myths! Greek myths are foundational to a lot of Western culture, they're what superheroes are based on as well as all sorts of epic stories. Lots of scientific concepts and ideas are based on things from mythology. The stories resonate down through the millennia because they're so relatable and human- rather than being about stodgy perfect beings who live in a magical realm and guide their mortal charges like children, the Greek gods of myth have the same emotional drives, lusts, jealousies, and personal problems of any modern person living today. Many of us find our own way into the myths. For me it was the astronomy books I loved as a child because I adored the images of the planets, stars, and nebulae. They had names from Greek and Roman myth and there were stories explaining where the names came from. Aspects of Greek myth would pop up all through culture; the naiads, dryads, and fauns in CS Lewis's Narnia books, the plays and music based on the love story of Orpheus and Eurydice… Hercules was always everywhere, and one of my favourite cartoons as a child was Ulysses 31, a French Scifi show based on the Odyssey. Then there are all the classic sword and sandal movie epics like Clash of the Titans! The Greek gods even show up in the musical Xanadu, a childhood fave of mine. These days people have have many animes, video games like God of War and Assassins Creed, movie and book series like Percy Jackson, the 300 and even Wonder Woman. I'm sure the 90s Kevin Sorbo series Hercules the Legendary journeys and its sister series Xena Warrior Princess were big inspirations for many! Even the Disney cartoon about Hercules. Not to mention all the secondary and tertiary influences like He-man who has more than his share of Hercules in him, even carrying a sword inspired by Greek weapons (though he's also based on Conan, who has Hercules in him too). It's funny where Greek myth references pop up- a lot of them in the names for technology and technical computer things because the scientists and engineers who created them were a little pretentious and wanted to show their classical learning. One of my faves is the name for the days of the week- In English most of them are the names of Germanic gods- Tuesday = Tir, god of war: Wednesday = Odin, Wodan, Wotan, god of wisdom: Thursday = Thor, god of thunder: Friday = Frigg and or Freyja, one a mother god he other a goddess of fertility. They were named that as a translation of the original Latin names because of course those days were named for Roman Gods: Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus… which were of course translations of Greek gods: Aries, Hermes, Zeus, and Aphrodite. "Wandel und Wechsel liebt, wer lebt." Dieses oft zitierte Motto des Göttervaters Wotan könnte beinahe sinnbildlich über der aktuellen "Ring"-Produktion der Bayreuther Festspiele stehen. Im dritten Jahr präsentiert sich die Inszenierung unter anderem mit einer rundum erneuerten Tenor-Riege. Wobei natürlich vor allem der erste Bayreuther Siegfried von Klaus Florian Vogt mit Spannung erwartet wurde.

In der dritten und letzten Folge der Reihe “Vom Späteinsteiger zum Pferdetrainer” tauchen Karen Golz und Christian Stahn noch einen Schritt tiefer in das Thema Pferdetraining ein und widmen sich speziell dem Verladen von Pferden. Die beiden sprechen über die Herausforderungen und Techniken, die Christian anwendet, um traumatisierten Pferden durch geduldiges und kleinschrittiges Training zu helfen.Es wird außerdem nochmals deutlich, warum negative Verstärkung ein wertvoller Bestandteil des Trainings sein kann und wie Präzision und Verständnis der Frustrationstoleranz eines Pferdes zu erfolgreichen Ergebnissen führen. Das kennst Du: In der Sonne ist es unerträglich heiß. Du suchst Dir ein schattiges Plätzchen und erfährst Erleichterung. Das, was da gerade stattgefunden hat, nennt man negative Verstärkung und ist Teil der sogenannten operanten Konditionierung. Darüber spricht Christian Stahn, der trotz “Späteinstieg” in die Pferdewelt mittlerweile erfolgreich als Trainer unterwegs ist, in diesem zweiten Teil unserer dreiteiligen Podcast-Serie. Ein Schwerpunkt in seiner Arbeit mit Pferden liegt nämlich auf der eben erwähnten operanten Konditionierung im Training.  Zudem beschreibt er die verschiedenen Methoden, die er kombiniert und so sein Training flexibel anpasst, um auf die Bedürfnisse des Pferdes eingehen zu können. Er gibt praktische Tipps, wie man Training in kleine Schritte einteilt und die Reaktionen des Pferdes kontinuierlich überprüft, um eine effektive Kommunikation zu gewährleisten.

Ein zentraler Punkt in Christians Geschichte ist die Bedeutung der Beobachtung und Kommunikation mit Pferden. Er lernte, subtile Zeichen von Wotan zu erkennen und darauf zu reagieren, was ihre Zusammenarbeit erheblich verbesserte. Christian betont die Rolle verschiedener Trainer, die ihn inspirierten und ihm wichtige Prinzipien wie Wohlwollen, Wahrnehmung, Wertschätzung, Wissen und Wahlfreiheit vermittelten. Surnommé par la presse « le gourou de l'Allier », son procès s'ouvre devant le tribunal correctionnel de Cusset en juillet 2023. L'homme était notamment renvoyé devant le tribunal correctionnel pour « abus de faiblesse sur des personnes majeures en état de sujétion psychologique et physique par le biais de techniques graves ayant altéré le jugement de ses victimes ». Dans ce dernier épisode, Maître Valérie Blanchard, avocate spécialiste des mouvements sectaires et présidente du Centre de Cartographie et d'Études des Croyances, prendra la parole. Pensant avoir trouvé un véritable sens à leur existence grâce à David, leur formation prend rapidement une tournure étrange. Alcool et cocaïne sont omniprésents dans les fêtes, et les adeptes sont victimes de sévices. Ancien étudiant en philosophie, Léo a vécu dans un château avec sa compagne Sarah. Le couple partageait le château avec quatre autres personnes, dont David Nègre. Au fil des mois, l'atmosphère s'est détériorée sous l'influence de ce gourou spirituel. Léo a demandé à Sarah de partir, et ensuite, il a été violemment agressé et abandonné au château, les autres locataires ayant volé sa voiture en partant. Léo accuse David d'abus de faiblesse, de violences volontaires aggravées et d'incitation à la consommation de stupéfiants. Mais qui est vraiment David Nègre, cet homme qui se présente sur internet comme un spécialiste de la mythologie nordique ? Une fusée africaine pour 20 millions de dollars, le projet ne date pas d'hier. Dans les années 1970, le Congolais Mobutu a failli réussir. À la manœuvre, il y avait un ingénieur allemand, Lutz Kayser, dont l'ancienne journaliste de RFI Joëlle Stolz raconte l'histoire dans le livre Projet Wotan, qui paraît aux éditions du Seuil. Cinquante ans avant Elon Musk, a-t-il été un pionnier du vol spatial privé au service des pays du Sud ?  RFI : Joëlle Stolz racontez l'histoire de cet ingénieur allemand qui a fait croire à Mobutu que le Zaïre pourrait envoyer des satellites dans l'espace pour 20 millions de dollars. Pourquoi Mobutu a-t-il été tenté par cette aventure spatiale ?RFI : Je crois qu'à l'époque, ça lui plaisait, l'idée d'être le premier à avoir un satellite d'observation pour les frontières très grandes de ce qu'on appelait à l'époque le Zaïre - le Congo-Kinshasa -, mais aussi un satellite de télécommunications.Son satellite d'observation qu'il voulait était un satellite militaire, j'imagine, pour surveiller ses voisins ?Oui, à l'époque, de toute façon, et c'est ce qui explique la nervosité, notamment des Soviétiques et d'autres interlocuteurs, beaucoup de voisins étaient proches de l'Union soviétique, donc l'arrière-fond de tout ça, c'est quand même la guerre froide et le conflit entre l'Ouest et l'Est.Alors, ce qui l'intéressait aussi, c'est que cette fusée, que lui proposait l'ingénieur allemand Lutz Kayser, coûtait beaucoup moins cher que les fusées américaines, françaises ou soviétiques. Oui, c'était la grande idée de Lutz Kayser et de ses subordonnés qui ont fondé l'Otrag, une entreprise allemande spécialisée dans les lanceurs spatiaux, c'était la « billige rakete », c'est-à-dire la fusée pas chère, qui est au fond la même idée que celle d'Elon Musk, mais l'américain a beaucoup plus d'argent au départ. L'idée de l'Allemand était de mettre à la disposition d'un certain nombre de pays du tiers-monde la possibilité d'avoir des satellites.Et vous dites que le pas de tir qui était dans le sud-est du Zaïre, aux confins du lac Tanganyika, était fait avec des écorces d'arbres ?Au départ, ils ont vraiment utilisé les moyens du bord et, effectivement, la première rampe de lancement était faite avec des arbres, évidemment pas les rampes ultérieures.Cet ingénieur allemand, Lutz Kayser, qui avait un esprit très pratique, était trop jeune pour avoir travaillé sur les fusées V1 et V2 de Hitler. Mais vous dites que le président du Conseil d'administration de sa société Otrag était un ancien SS ?Oui, alors c'était Kurt H. Debus. Alors il faut savoir que Kurt H. Debus a travaillé pour les Américains.... D'abord pour les nazis et ensuite pour les Américains.Bon, il faut se souvenir que les Américains, il y a eu cette opération paperclip. Ils ont récupéré le haut du panier, c'est-à-dire environ 1 600 savants, dont Wernher von Braun est le plus connu, l'un des pères d'Apollo. C'est vrai qu'en matière de carburant liquide, en particulier, les Allemands étaient vraiment en avance. Les Soviétiques ont récupéré aussi 3 000 ou 4 000 personnes, enfin, tous ceux qui leur sont tombés dans les mains. Et les Français - c'est beaucoup moins connu - ont récupéré quelque chose comme 150 - ou plus - d'ingénieurs et techniciens allemands.Allemands de l'époque ?Absolument. Des gens qui avaient travaillé pour Hitler aussi et qui ont travaillé ensuite pour la France.Tous ceux qui ont vu le film « Mobutu, Roi du Zaïre », de notre confrère Thierry Michel, se souviennent de la fameuse scène de juin 1978 où Mobutu assiste au lancement d'une fusée qui se crashe au bout de quelques secondes. Dix mois plus tard, le pauvre ingénieur allemand sera limogé. L'image de ce crash a fait le tour du monde, elle symbolise aujourd'hui la faillite du régime Mobutu. Mais ne serions-nous pas sévères avec cet ingénieur allemand ? S'il avait eu un peu plus de temps, aurait-il pu réussir ?C'est la grande question, je suis incompétente pour y répondre. Cet homme était certainement un très bon ingénieur, peut-être aurait-il pu réussir son coup. En tout cas, s'agissant du crash de cette fusée, qui a été spectaculaire et qui a fini par symboliser le destin du régime de Mobutu. Un élément technique m'a été donné par un ingénieur qui était très proche de Lutz Kayser et qui a dit qu'ils avaient trop attendu le jour du lancement. C'est-à-dire qu'ils avaient prévu un lancement en début de matinée. Et puis, évidemment, Mobutu est venu avec une suite importante, notamment de nombreux journalistes avec des heures de retard, et c'est l'une des raisons.Parce que le moteur d'une fusée n'attend pas...Voilà, les moteurs de fusée ne peuvent pas attendre. Donc la question est ouverte : est-ce qu'il aurait pu réussir ? En tout cas, celui qui réussit aujourd'hui, c'est Elon Musk. Il a réduit considérablement le coût de lancement d'une fusée, et c'est l'une des raisons pour lesquelles la NASA, par exemple, a conclu des contrats avec lui.Ce que vous dites dans votre livre, Joëlle Stolz, c'est que, si l'ingénieur allemand est limogé par Mobutu dix mois après ce fameux crash, c'est sous pression internationale. C'est parce que les grandes puissances ne voulaient pas que le Congo-Kinshasa lance un satellite, non ?Tout le monde avait des objections. Probablement ceux qui, à l'époque, avaient le moins d'objections, étaient les Américains, mais ils n'étaient pas non plus très enthousiastes. Les Soviétiques et tous leurs alliés très clairement. Et puis il y avait les Français. Giscard d'Estaing était absolument contre dès le départ et je pense qu'il était contre parce qu'il voulait que les Allemands - l'Allemagne de l'Ouest à l'époque, c'est-à-dire le Chancelier Schmidt, avec qui il avait tissé une relation assez cordiale - s'engagent très clairement dans le projet Ariane. Il faut se souvenir que l'Agence spatiale européenne, dont le siège est à Paris, a été fondée en 1975 et que, la même année, Mobutu donne ce contrat à Lutz Kayser.Donc Valéry Giscard d'Estaing ne voulait pas que le projet de Lutz Kayser au Congo-Kinshasa ne fasse concurrence au projet Ariane, dans lequel il voulait associer l'Allemagne ?Absolument. Et Lutz Kayser a cru pendant quelques années qu'il pouvait convaincre les Français. Il n'a pas réussi ça, c'est clair. Et c'est là que Kadhafi lui a ouvert les bras et lui a tenu le discours qu'il voulait entendre.En effet, une fois qu'il est congédié par Mobutu, l'ingénieur allemand vend son savoir-faire au colonel Kadhafi. Mais ce qui intéresse le numéro 1 libyen, ce ne sont pas des fusées pour aller dans l'espace, ce sont des missiles pour frapper Israël. Du coup, il y a un malentendu, non ? Il y avait un énorme malentendu. Mais pour Lutz Kayser, Kadhafi était quelqu'un qui s'intéressait à l'espace. Je pense que ça n'était pas le cas. En tout cas, ça n'était certainement pas le cas des militaires libyens qui voulaient, eux, des missiles de moyenne portée.Et à ce moment-là, vous dites que l'ingénieur allemand Lutz Kayser a peut-être pris peur ?Il a connu personnellement des gens qui avaient travaillé pour Nasser au début des années 60 et puis qui avait été victimes de lettres piégées, envoyées par le Mossad. Donc je pense - c'est ma conviction personnelle - qu'il avait peur du Mossad. Et il voulait réellement lancer des satellites, il ne voulait pas faire du militaire.Au final, cet ingénieur allemand, qui est aujourd'hui décédé et dont vous avez rencontré la veuve, n'a jamais réussi à envoyer un satellite dans l'espace. Est-ce que c'est un mégalomane qui a vu trop de films et qui s'est pris pour Spectre, l'adversaire de James Bond ? Ou est-ce que c'est un visionnaire, un Elon Musk qui est peut-être né 50 ans trop tôt ?Je dirais que c'est plutôt la deuxième option. Ce sont les deux choses, c'est-à-dire qu'on peut voir cette histoire comme un exemple de l'ambition démesurée d'êtres humains qui veulent atteindre les étoiles, etc. Depuis que Prométhée a essayé de voler le feu du ciel, c'est un trait commun et c'est un reproche qu'on peut faire aux êtres humains. Et en même temps, il est certain que le contexte géopolitique de l'époque ne se prêtait absolument pas à ce type d'entreprise. Il a terminé sa vie sur un petit îlot du Pacifique. Il faut se souvenir que les Américains sont très présents, et d'ailleurs, que les expérimentations spatiales de la société fondée par Elon Musk ont commencé là. In the first half of the twentieth century, a Luciferian order of German occultists formed to cross the threshold, practice sex magic, and achieve a form of self-deification. He's been featured in documentaries including Wrestling Then & Now and Standing in the Stars: The Peter Mayhew Story as well as music videos like, Touch & Go by rapper Joe Budden, Dawn Monroe's Get it Poppin, Bethany Davis' Lose Control and multiple videos by Frank Lucas, Jr. (Street Star and Let's Go). He's also been credited with background vocals on guitarist Bumblefoot's 2015 release, Little Brother is Watching. Video game voice-over credits include, Seduce Me 2: The Demon War, Sorim Story: Race World (Brimstone is a playable character, available skin and voice of multiple characters), Viking Vengeance as the character Wotan, Triagat as the character Idium, Brimstone's own Forza Infernis (on Android, Apple & XBox One), Wasteland Wars & GHR: The Great Airspace Chase; is voicing the character Wrath in the game, Rose & Locket and was announced as voicing the lead character, Terror T in the upcoming 2D video game (and animated series) Cereal Killaz. In VR - Brim voices the lead character, Wyatt in the Western based shooting game Finger Gun for the Oculus Quest 2; as well as the character Skalakron in the game, The Search for the Lost Weld (releasing 2023 on Steam, Nintendo Switch and other platforms). Brim's voice can also be heard in a variety of Q&E Productions' animated shorts, as Game Day in The Weeklings animated series, Santa Claws for viral YouTube channel, eLL Cartoons, as well as a surprise character in the viral, God's School. The Perfect Wagnerite by George Bernard Shaw audiobook. The Perfect Wagnerite: A Commentary on the Niblung's Ring (originally published London, 1898) is a philosophical commentary on Richard Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen, by the Irish writer George Bernard Shaw. Shaw offered it to those enthusiastic admirers of Wagner who "were unable to follow his ideas, and do not in the least understand the dilemma of Wotan." He interprets the Ring in Marxian terms as an allegory of the collapse of capitalism from its internal contradictions. Musicologically, his interpretation is noteworthy for its perception of the change in aesthetic direction beginning with the final scene of Siegfried, in which he claimed that the cycle turns from Musikdrama back towards opera.

Decades have passed since Fafner walked out of Valhalla with the Ring of Power. He has since transformed into a dragon, and holds the ring in his hoard. Wotan is playing the long game, scheming to take back the ring — whether to use it or destroy it, even he isn't sure.
