Food is supposed to sustain us—but when you're chronically ill, even the act of eating can feel like an uphill battle. I've lived with chronic back pain for 21 years, and I know firsthand how pain, fatigue, and unpredictable symptoms can completely reshape your relationship with food. In this solo episode, I'm diving into the emotional, physical, and psychological toll of eating while managing chronic conditions like fibromyalgia, POTS, PCOS, and chronic fatigue syndrome. The mental and emotional weight of food decisions, social pressure, and grief around eating is very real. When food becomes linked with pain, restriction, or a way of coping, disordered eating patterns can easily take hold—often without us even realizing it. That's why it's so important to understand your needs and ask for accommodations. Asking for help is not a weakness—it's a deeply necessary act of care in a world that often misunderstands chronic illness. If you've ever felt dismissed, overwhelmed, or just plain exhausted by the effort it takes to nourish yourself, this episode is for you. IN THIS EPISODE, YOU WILL LEARN ABOUT... How chronic illness can make eating physically and emotionally challenging—from symptoms like nausea and pain to fatigue and side effects from medication. The mental and emotional toll of food decisions, social pressure, and grief around eating is very real. How disordered eating patterns can develop when food becomes linked with pain, restriction, or coping. How flexibility, self-compassion, and doing what works for your body are key. How my personal experience living with chronic back pain for 21 years and how it affected my relationship with food. Between wars, famines, climate change, and inequality (to name a few), happenings of the world can start to seem like a never-ending cycle of unfortunate events. It can be deflating to think this way and discouraging to feel like there's nothing that you can do about it. What would you do differently if you were 100% confident in your skills? In today's episode, I'm talking about why every female entrepreneur should turn building self-confidence into one of their top priorities. One of the most disempowering, stagnating, and corrosive traits we can nurture as entrepreneurs is a lack of self-confidence. Finding potentially hazardous situations and getting our senses aware of the possible dangers around us is our brain's job; we can't blame it for doing what is supposed to be doing. But in entrepreneurship, that might translate into delaying the launch of a new product, or avoiding reaching out to social media followers fearing something terrible would happen if we fail.So it is about finding the sweet spot. Yes, we thank our protective brain for keeping us alive. Yet, we politely ask it to restrain itself from making business decisions.Throughout this episode, you'll learn about the subtle differences between self-confidence and confidence, and how to nurture and train them efficiently. You'll also hear about how fear of failure and self-doubt interfere with your progress, how to transform the way you see each one of your failed attempts at doing something new, and much more.Tune in to episode 158 of Unstoppable Female Entrepreneurs and discover how acting boldly and trusting your skills (even when you fail) are the things that will take you and your business to the next level. In This Episode, You Will Learn:About the differences between building self-confidence and being confident (4:13)What would happen if we stop to look fear in the face (6:01)Perfectionism is an excuse; it is only keeping you paralyzed (9:13)How to create self-confidence (13:52)Why you should take time to celebrate your achievements (even the smallest one) (15:05)Let's Connect!WebsiteFacebookInstagramYouTube5 Keys To Breaking the $10K Code Free TrainingWellness Entrepreneur MastermindIntuitive Marketing Membership Hosted on Acast. What first thought comes to mind whenever you feel stuck in your entrepreneurial journey? In this episode, I'm talking about a feeling most entrepreneurs experience at least once (or dozens of times): the overwhelming sensation of being stagnant or stuck. To our brains, what is known and familiar is safe, so as long as things are constant and predictable, no alarms are set off. Yet, in entrepreneurial terms, when sales remain steady, it doesn't mean safety; it means the company is not growing. That is why every time we start thinking about entering unknown places, like new marketing strategies, adding new products, or creating new courses, our brains freak out and use their best arguments to convince us that it is too risky, that we might lose everything if we fail, or that we are not "that" good anyway to aspire for exponential growth. Throughout this episode, I invite you to join me as I explore the science behind why we feel overwhelmed and stuck and what we can do to navigate that feeling. I also share three simple yet powerful tips that'll help you transform your response to fear and uncertainty, manage stress and anxiety through self-awareness, and more.Tune in to episode 124 of Unstoppable Female Entrepreneurs and learn how to train your brain to get comfortable in the uncomfortable terrain of the unknown. In This Episode, You Will Learn:About the science behind the overwhelming sensation of feeling stuck (1:10)How increasing your adaptability can help (4:00)Three tips to transform your response to fear and uncertainty (5:50)How an external observer can help you transform your business (11:20)Let's Connect!WebsiteFacebookInstagramYouTube5 Keys To Breaking the $10K Code Free TrainingWellness Entrepreneur Mastermind Hosted on Acast.
