I've interviewed over 150 podcast guests and been a guest on a few dozen. Most of the people I've interviewed have been stellar, but occasionally I have people on the show who don't turn out so great. This episode answers the FAQ - How can I be a great podcast guest? I keep forgetting that common sense isn't common, so some of these things will seem like 'duh' moments for some of you. If that's the case, you are probably already a good guest. Here are some nugs: ** Do your research and make it thorough. ** Present yourself in the best, most positive way. No slackers. ** Don't waste the host's time. ** Follow the submission guidelines to the letter. More in the video. Anyone who's followed me for a long time knows I teach people how to market their business by delivering valuable and memorable experiences. Last week, I welcomed Cat Stancik back to Your Own Best Company for a discussion of something she's been developing called Fireworks Experiences. After our interview, I attended her Fireworks Experience Workshop. This two-hour crash course will help you identify the kind of Firework Experience that fits your strengths and your client's focus. In one part of the workshop, Cat helped me clarify a new front-end marketing strategy I've been working on that made my idea many times better than it had originally been. I've already seen some exciting results. Here are some of our talking points: ** What is a Fireworks Experience? ** How Fireworks Experiences make better buyers. ** How Cat creates safe spaces where sales can happen more easily. ** Five types of buyers. ** Gaining the confidence to go off-script. We also shared our mutual excitement about the success of her monthly online networking event, the Lead Boss Mixer. If you're looking for a place to meet other successful entrepreneurs and mingle with potential podcast hosts and guest, register for the next mixer at https://LeadBossMixer.com The next Fireworks Experience Workshop will be December 15th from noon-2PM EST. It will fill up fast, so reserve your spot soon here: https://FireworkWorkshop.com For information about Cat's coaching programs and services, check out https://ActionIncubator.com. A morning phone call scuttles all but one of my plans today. I had a good time this morning on the Are You Waiting for Permission Pod-a-Thon with Meridith Grundei and Joseph Bennett. They made it the full twelve hours. It's the longest podcast episode I've ever been a part of, but I on;y had to show up for a small part of it. While I was on the podcast, my wife got a call about a family emergency that required an unanticipated trip to the Denver airport and back for me. My plans to finish editing and release the latest Your Own Best Company episode with Cat Stancik are going to wait another day. YOu will definitely want to hear that one. On my way back from the airport, I listened to three of my favorite podcasters. I thought I'd share my recommendation with you here. She Built This with Emily Aborn is a great show featuring interviews with women who have successfully built businesses and career paths they are loving. Emily is a wonderful interviewer, and her guests are top-notch. You can learn more and listen at https://shebuiltthis.org Copywriters Podcast with David Garfinkel has been a favorite for a few years, but in recent months he's been featuring stories and techniques of some of the most successful ad writers of the past century. He could easily publish this series as another book of his own. His book Breakthrough Copywriting is an excellent resource for any business owner or marketer. Check out the podcast at https://copywriterspodcast.com The last recommendation features one of my favorite past guests on Your Own Best Company. Craig Cannings of Freelance University hosts the Freelance Podclass. This show is a must for anyone pursuing a freelance career in any area, particularly in the digital realm. My son got his driver's license this morning and drove himself solo to school for the first time. We've been hearing all day that snow was coming, and there was a dusting by noon that didn't add any challenges. Even an hour before school got out, roads were clear, and all appeared to be well. In that last hour, the snow finally started to fall, and the roads covered over quickly and became very icy. Bodhi had never driven on snow before this, so he was pretty nervous. He got to a place where he could pull into a parking lot and called us to ask what he should do. We talked over a couple of alternate routes, and he chose the one he felt the safest driving on and slowly made it the rest of the way home. There were so many other ways he could have reacted to these unexpected conditions. He could have just kept going on the busier street where he felt less safe. He could have asked us to come and bring him home. He could have chosen one of the routes we didn't talk about. I think one of the best signs of intelligence is the ability to recognize when we need help and have the courage to ask for it. New conditions spring up all the time, and we often don't have any idea what to do when we're faced with situations we hadn't planned on. Today I take a lesson from my kid to be smart enough to find a safe place to park, get on the phone, and ask for guidance from a more experienced resource. I also mention today's Firework Experience Workshop by Cat Stancik that I attended. It was a good example of resources entrepreneurs can turn to when they feel like they're spinning their wheels. Sales Game Changers | Tip-Filled Conversations with Sales Leaders About Their Successful Careers
Read the complete transcription on The Sales Game Changers Podcast website. This show was sponsored by Cox. Learn more at For the Love of Sales. CATS TIP: "Everything that we're talking about has everything to do with marketing and sales. How are you positioning yourself and how are you "convincing" someone that it's time for you to be promoted? The first thing is all about authority. How are you branding yourself? Are you identifying the job that you want? Are you communicating it and are you positioning yourself as an authority? And there's community. Your job, especially in the corporate space, is to make your boss look good. If you want it to work, then start looking at what you're doing and how you're showing up. The third piece is how you Engage. Identify that sponsor, who, and invest in them. This is about giving them value, support them. So many people want to take and they don't give first. Look at what you can do to help them, support them. Find out what are they looking for."
Business coach, Cat Stancik, is a hoot to listen to. Not only is she fun, she's full of amazing insights and counsel to help you accelerate your sales. You're lying in bed in the wee hours, feeling anxious because you have no idea where your next client will come from. Does this sound like you? If so, today's Published Author episode is something you definitely want to hear! Host Josh Steimle talks to Tobin Slaven, author of the book Experts Never Chase: The Hassle-Free Guide for Expert-Based Entrepreneurs. Experts Never Chase is designed to help business owners stop marketing and start growing their business by creating more conversations with the right people. Experts Never Chase contains the four gears of marketing methodology designed by Tobin to help entrepreneurs find their ideal clients. First Book From The Published Author Masterclass! Tobin is the first member of the Published Author's Masterclass to finish his book and get it published. An entrepreneur for about 15 years, Tobin has been called an introverted savant with a super power for helping entrepreneurs find their tribe and sparking conversations out of thin air! Tobin's LinkedIn profile notes that his book's title is about the fact that we all know deep down that “chasing undermines the hard won trust and authority of subject matter experts. I help entrepreneurs find the easy path to dialogue that drives sales, without chasing.” Author Ran a Kickstarter Campaign To Fund Book's Launch Tobin ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to bring in some funding to launch his book. He says: “I like exploring new territory and doing unique things. I've never run a Kickstarter before, so I didn't bring a lot of experience, but I've wanted to do one for a while. I just find it really interesting . . .This idea of gathering a group of people together and getting them to buy into the vision of what you're creating.” The campaign encountered a scary moment. With 10 days to go left in the campaign, Tobin and his co-author Cat Stancik, were only at 22 percent of their $5,000 goal. With Kickstarter, the rule is all or nothing, so orders for their book would have been refunded if they didn't reach 100 percent. Although Tobin was aware that most Kickstarters don't see a lot of activity until the end of a campaign, he knew he had to really kick it into gear. “I'd call it a good old-fashioned barn raising! I reach out to friends. I had family friends that came in in a big way,” he says. “Some folks supported with dollars. Some folks interviewed us on podcasts and helped us get the word out. And we ended up at 131 percent when we finished.” The key to a successful Kickstarter campaign is, according to Tobin, being creative with what's on offer. Tobin and Cat offered reward layers where, for example, people could buy a signed copy of the book, a digital package with a hard copy and audio copy due later this year, and a hard copy along with a consultation package. Frustrated With List-Building, Pushing Send, And One-To-Many Marketing Up until about four or five years ago, most of Tobin's experience in the digital marketing space was with his own consultancy. His work was all about list building and pushing send—one-to-many digital marketing. “It was all about efficiency and automation, and doing the least amount of work for the biggest results,” explains Tobin. But clearly he wasn't enjoying the work because he became frustrated and did a 360-degree flip, going all in on having one-to-one conversations with people and doing the things that wouldn't scale. Experts Never Chase is about this experience and process and the journey that he's been on after moving away from the one-to-many digital marketing approach. He notes the journey has been full of mistakes, but the goal has been to find a more elegant way of winning clients. ‘We're Starting To Tune Out The Marketing Stuff' Toban changed tacks not because he wasn't successful. On the contrary, he and his team produced $1.5 million dollars in revenue with two emails. However, he was watching the open rates go down, even though they were doing a lot of things right and had pretty high open rates compared to the industry average. Explains Tobin: “It just was getting harder and harder. And I think we see this, all of us sort of recognize this, that we're starting to tune out that marketing stuff. “Particularly with the pandemic, I think we crave real connections with people. And I just got to a place where I said to myself if I have to prove results, if someone put a gun to my head and said ‘You've got to produce results, how are we going to do that?' it was this: Go out, talk to people, remove all the marketing that's creating distance between you and the people you want to do business with.” Networking With Meaning In The Online Space As an introvert, Tobin finds networking at face-to-face events difficult. He also finds online networkers who he calls “leg humpers” a real turn off. They are the people who have something to sell, connect with you, and as soon as you say you're not interested, they disappear. Because of this, Tobin says people have bought into automation or they believe that there is a perfect script for online networking. “The answer is there isn't one. Because if it's a copy and paste script, you automatically are removing your biggest asset, which is creating that human to human connection.” Instead, explains Tobin, “Every message that is sent . . . the person receiving it is a hundred percent sure and certain that that message was meant for them and them alone. You do that by tying into the details that are only pertinent to them and would not have been sent to anyone else. And it completely changes the conversation. “I would challenge folks that say ‘I don't have time for this'. Do you have time to burn your reputation with people because you only get that first impression? I want to create relationships with people I want to do business with. I don't want to drive people away who say ‘He treated me like a number, like I was a number on his spreadsheet to get more sales'.” Learn more: If you appreciated this episode, listen to: Imposter Syndrome Halted Writer's Work. Victoria: Hey everyone, it's Sensei Victoria Whitfield here, your journey partner in business, welcoming you back to episode 171 of the Journeypreneur Podcast. This is your source for channeled holistic stress management techniques, guidance, inspiration and motivation to stay on your path to rapid financial ascension and massive impact as a conscious entrepreneur. So in this podcast episode, I get to share with you someone that I love and have loved for years, someone that whenever she speaks, I grab a pen and a pen and don't talk to me because I need to be writing and get all of these golden nuggets. She's a golden nugget drop and wish you only had a sense that you could find her at actionincubator.com. What she specializes in is making sure that coaches are making it rain. Right. So going in there and getting out there and serving in a big way. That is. Welcome to the podcast. Cat: Thank you. I feel that I receive it. And thank you so much for having me. I appreciate it. And of course, reciprocate everything that you have just said about me. Victoria: So I love it. I love it. And I love you. And I know we love each other. Right. So we're good. We're straight. We go way back and we-- Cat: That's right. We go way back to like, oh my God, can you believe we were doing that? Victoria: Oh, back to the days when we used to dream “wouldn't it be nice if” and it's been an honor to grow our businesses side by side, sister. I'm so proud. So proud. And this may be the very first time that someone is getting to see you here. You learn about what you do. So if you could, in your own words, share with us exactly what it is you do, especially what are the three things that you're known for? Could you tell us? Cat: So I am can say this thing for sure is one that I'm known for. And it's basically that I work with experts and influencers who want to multiply their six figures over and over and over again to get past the seven figures. So what that means is they want to leverage a repeatable and consistent process to be able to hit those big revenue numbers. How I do it is by doing organic high ticket sales specifically so that you can see that you are already connected to your next big client and how you can consistently fill your pipeline with leads that are ready to buy from you now. So my angle or the second thing that I'm going for is I am anti “bro marketing.” That means I don't like “bro marketing” people. Actually, I do like some of the marketers. They just need to not do that. I've met a lot of them and basically it's a shake you down, leaving you less than, gimmicks, right, that nobody appreciates feeling or doing to others. And instead my clients want to really step into their own unique voice and power so that they can not only attract their ideal clients, but sell to them in the way that feels empowering for both sides of the conversation. And the third thing I'm known for is, other than being crazily hilarious, as you all will witness soon, is that I am a mom of three. So I have now three kids under seven years old. So seven, five and two. Yes. Just give me a moment. ::breathes:: - Let's talk about it! Feel like you've got a Money Block stopping or slowing your business growth? Meet Tobin When experts are ready to create more conversations with perfect prospects, they call Tobin at bookofexperts.com. He's been called an introverted savant with a superpower for helping you find your tribe and sparking conversations out of thin air. This new book is called Experts Never Chase, because deep down we all know that chasing undermines the hard-won trust and authority of subject matter experts so he helps entrepreneurs find the easy path dialog that drives sales. Why did you write the book, Experts Never Chase? What's the big idea behind it? So our book just came out last month. We launched on May the fourth, and since we launched, we've had a successful Kickstarter, which was a unique experience to launch the book with that and I think we're on four or five bestseller lists now. So that's been a new experience for me, I've never done the book thing. My co-author on the book, Cat Stancik has published once before so she had a little bit more experience and it has been great getting some help from friends and experts in that space of what it looks like to launch and market your book. The funny thing is when we did the Kickstarter, we used the exact same process that is outlined in the book. So I think that that was a really fun way to validate that and show people what we're doing at the same time for why they might be interested in the book. The book is not for everyone, but it's really written for expert-based entrepreneurs, so coaches, consultants, people who talk about clients instead of customers, and particularly folks that are feeling like it's harder than it should be. Like, it's really hard to get that next couple of clients and if I had just a couple more clients coming into the mix, it would really change my business, my life, my work-life balance. So the book is how to make that happen without feeling like you have to chase those clients, those prospective clients around because when you do that, it really undoes a lot of the good work that we seek to make in the world. What do you think is the biggest challenge that you see in our online space of expert-based entrepreneurs and what would really help them out? The challenge that I'm seeing goes right back to what you described of this reaction of, "I get these messages, and I have no interest in them," so it's this challenge to scale. We've been sold a bill of goods of I'm going to create a business that's like an ATM, it's going to work while I sleep so everything I do in my business has to be built to scale, built to grow big. Relationships are a little bit different because the minute we start treating other individuals like a number on our spreadsheet. We've all done that funnel math where we try talking to 1,000 contacts where that ends in let's say three clients coming out at the bottom of that funnel. What we don't factor into that math is the 997 people at the start, who received that first message and said, "This is probably someone I'll never do business with," because of that first impression. So I think the challenge is how to change that and how to create relationships in a systematic, predictable and consistent way, but not scalable so that you lose that human-to-human connection. Business is done by one person doing business with another. There are other industries, where their consumers and customers and I came out of that world. That was my background, I had to reinvent myself four or five years ago. I was a build your list, push the send button. We sent two emails that produced a million and a half dollars in the nonprofit space. That was my world, like the one to many kinds of digital marketing. But I grew really frustrated because I saw that it wasn't working as consistently as it should because 2 out of 10 people were opening emails, and you'd work really hard to send better emails, and it might go up to 3 out of 10 people. So about four or five years ago went all-in on this one-to-one, talk to people the way I would want to be approached and converse with, build real relationships, and trust that good things are gonna flow from that. Then I had to get more systematic about it myself. How are you getting those results? There are three big questions that come up when we do this process and the book was written from the workshops that I do. When I first approached my co-author about doing the book together, she said, "You realize I'm kind of a competitor, right?" But I think that the book is better for having both our voices in it. We didn't hold anything back from the book and we tackle three big questions that come up. The first is how do I find my right fit prospects? Usually, when people they asked this question, it feels like such a big hurdle, such a big boulder that's been dropped in front of them that they can't even imagine how to get started. Because they're looking around and they don't see where their next client could be coming from. So we show them a few strategies in the book, walk them through. The response we get from folks, after they answer this question, they'll get on the other side, and they'll look back over their shoulder and they're like, "That wasn't really the problem, my real problem is I have a handful of people that I would love to do business with, but I don't know how to start this because every time I reach out to people, I feel weird about it, and they run the other way. How do I start a conversation with someone I really want to do business with?" So the same thing happens, we walk through a couple of strategies that have worked really well. It's not a script. Just note that if you guys are hearing this if someone's trying to sell you on a script that's going to make you a million dollars. Scripts don't work because, by the time someone receives that message, you can feel it. We all know when we're getting marketing from someone else, and no one responds well, but if you can send a message and the person on the other end, the receiving end, 100% knows that that message was meant for them alone, that's one of the ways you can make a positive first impression on people. You can personalize, not just first name, but for example, Lori, with you, we started the podcast this way. I said social currency is a brilliant way to have this conversation to talk about what you're doing because it captures so much. There's a whole economy around giving and receiving of attention right now. So that would be how I would reach out to you to make sure that this is a conversation about you and something you care about and not just a copy and paste that everybody else got. The third thing that always comes up and it's always in this order, how do I find my people, what do I say to them to spark a conversation? The third question is how do we take that conversation and turn it into a sales conversation? My co-author says, "How do you go from talking about the weather to talking about whether we should be doing business together or not?" There an art having a really good conversation with someone and to figure out that there may be business here and to do it in an elegant way that everyone feels great about they feel invited into it. It's really about getting permission, getting people the opportunity to raise their hand and say, "Yeah, tell me a little bit more about that." So the book walks through a bunch of examples that have worked really well for me and for the clients that we've worked with in workshops. It's not one phrase that wins at all, it's more the content of when you deliver this, and that you let them feel like they have control of the conversation, that then you get permission which allows you to enter into the specifics of what it might look like if you do business together. Can you share one of your most successful or favorite networking experiences? So I have been that guy too where networking is intimidating. The idea of going to the Chamber of Commerce meeting and having to network that way, is really hard for me, honestly. As a business owner, I've forced myself to do that, but it does make me tense up a little bit even thinking about being in that environment. Let me share with you what has really helped me and I think I've cultivated and nurtured this in the online environment, but I'm now finding it works every bit as well in real life. I can have conversations with people, I can genuinely look for the awesome in that. So what is cool about this other person, what are they doing? It doesn't have to be that we went to the same high school or college since everyone's trying to find that rapport. It's really just as a human being, what are they doing that is really cool that I can find to compliment them? That's one of the first things that I'm going to do. The reason I start there is it feels really good to be validated by others and to be recognized and seen for the hard work that we're doing. So if we can start a conversation there, I found it kind of takes off much more easily for both sides, we just all feel good about it. The second thing is I can put my agenda on the back burner for a while. For me, that means hearing what's going on in the other person's world. I might ask them a question like, "So if I did run into someone who was a perfect prospect for you, how would I recognize them?" A question like that creates an opportunity to have a little bit of a deeper conversation and maybe I actually can make a connection. If there's business to be had that can wait a little bit too because we do business with people that we know, like, and trust and there's reciprocity and all that in place. But if I can really understand who the other person is on the other side of the dialog, I potentially could help them. That's agenda number one for me, I'm probably going to make an introduction to someone else in my network that I know will appreciate them, maybe needs what they have, maybe I'll hear them say that they're stuck with something that they don't fully know or understand yet, but there's someone I know that could be really helpful for them. So connecting those dots between people can become the reason for having that conversation. Then, only then if someone says something that you can help with at that point, it gives you an opportunity to say, "Oh, that's kind of interesting, tell me more about that," and if I don't earn that, then I don't deserve to have that conversation. How do you stay in front of and best nurture your network? I think this is one of the big challenges in this space, which is as you're starting to network with more people, how do you do it in an intelligent way so that they are real relationships and it's not you touched a person one time and you never see them again? That really doesn't serve either side. So one of the tools that I found helpful is a CRM called getdex.com. This has become my favorite tool and the one piece of software that I would most hate to give up. Dex is a Rolodex essentially and it will not replace your CRM. So if anyone out there is saying, "Yeah, I got this covered, I've got HubSpot," that won't work because that's not what dex is. Dex does one thing and it does it really well. It tells you who to connect with or who to talk to and when like the follow-up part of it. So as you and I chat, I'll make a few notes in the record of the timeline of our conversation. Then all my folks that I want to stay in touch with are on-timers, they're in buckets. So for this group of people, I want to make sure that I check-in and see what's going on in their world, look at their content, make sure I'm commenting and staying relevant and up to date with them, at least on a monthly basis. For other people, it might be a couple of times a year where I don't want to lose touch, but it's not a business relationship that I need to stay top of mind with either. So I'm just using this tool and before using dex, I really struggled because I was doing this on paper and it just wasn't working. But this tool plugs into LinkedIn plugs into email, and Facebook so I can make my notes right there, as I'm conversing with people. So it's been a great addition. What advice would you offer business professionals who are looking to grow their network? I think I'm going to go back and reuse one that I've already shared, but I'm going to emphasize it because I think it's that important. That is to find the awesome in other people first. As entrepreneurs, we are very sensitive to taking care of our people. So if you have a newsletter, if you have a YouTube channel, your network on LinkedIn, wherever your people are where you're actively growing your audience and nurturing those relationships when someone shows up and engages with you, we are very in tune with taking care of those people, it's a great way to get to know folks. So when you show up and you find the awesome in someone else, it's a natural interface to really connect with them. So for example, for a podcaster like you, Lori, the ratings and reviews on podcasts, that is the currency of podcasting, right. So if someone wants to connect with you, the smartest thing they could do is to leave you a five-star review. Then what I would do is I'd take a screenshot and I'd shoot you an email and say, "Lori, I'm really enjoying the podcast, I just left your review, this is what I said." Now you and I are going to have a completely different conversation because of the context of how we first connected so this is the approach that I prefer. The alternative, what we've been all been told for years is to show up and bring value, like give value to people. There's a problem with this and I did this years ago. There was a lawyer who had paid big money to have the back of the Yellow Page book, and I looked at his website and his local listings online. I could see he had a lot of holes in his online marketing, even though he was spending a lot of money on the yellow pages. So I reached out to him thinking that I was doing him a favor, sharing all these mistakes that he made. I thought I was giving him value, he probably thought I was the biggest ass in the world. So I learned by that mistake that even though I thought I was giving value, that's a terrible way to deliver it. So show up, find the awesome first, and delivering value can come later. There's still a lot of substance in that, but it's not the best way to show up on someone's doorstep. If you could go back to your 20-year-old self, what would you tell yourself to do more or less than or differently with regards to your professional career? I think my answer on what I'm doing today is different from what I would say if I could go back and talk to my 20-year-old self. If I could go back and talk to my 20-year-old self, I really would have focused on the list building. I just turned 50 so we're talking about a 30 year period of time where the ability to build an audience of people that had a core interest in common and what I didn't understand back then was if you build a big enough group of people, you can monetize it in really interesting ways. I'm a little bit of a Star Wars nerd so when I was 20 years old if someone said you can create a newsletter that is all about the nerdy Star Wars stuff that you're interested in, I think I wouldn't have believed that. I would have questioned how that would become a business. If you look at our world today, it's amazing how all these passionate communities have been built around a topic or a niche that people really care about a lot and once you've gathered the crowd, you can have sponsors, you can directly sell things that that group asked for. There are so many different ways to monetize it in a way that people will love you for and I would have loved to counsel my younger self on that. Do you have any final word or advice for our listeners with regards to growing and supporting your network? Nope, I just really appreciate what you're doing to get the information out. I think anyone that hears this and if you're interested in connecting, let's have a real conversation. We had a super fun conversation on today’s show with Cat Stancik of Action Incubator, whose focus is on organic lead generation. She has a great methodology of how she’s able to get more leads, get the right leads, keep in touch with them the right way and without being spammy, and then achieving high close rates. We also talk about how to think about your ideal client, which may be a little different than you normally hear about, as well as rethinking how your social media profiles appear online. Cat also gives us her insight into her three C’s - how to connect, converse, and close as well as the three levers you can pull in your business to increase your revenue. In addition to all that, we talk about a cool new tool she has in the works, as well as the CRM she uses currently, which makes her connections a breeze. Do you sometimes feel like "I know this stuff... why isn't it working for me?"
How do you go from being bullied at school, having to eat lunch alone in the bathroom, to today being a successful business owner/thought leader?I'm delighted to share this episode where I interview Cat Stancik, “The Lead Boss.” Cat said, in spite of the trauma, “I innately knew that I was meant for something bigger. I knew there was more to life than what was handed to me.” Thus begins a fabulous conversation where we lay out the steps for transformation. We talk about the concept of “too much-ness” and how that affects you. (Lots of women relate to this one.) Cat shares how she had to ‘believe it then see it.' This is a fabulous thing to model btw. We also spend time discussing how “bro marketers” can help disempower you, and Cat's way to move around it so as to talk to a heart and soul versus ego. This episode is a great one designed to show you who you have to “be” and how to think about your actions in a way to keep you moving forward.Cat Stancik, The Lead Boss, is the Founder of Action Incubator, Bestselling author of "7 Principles for a More Productive and Fulfilling Life" and creator of the Lead Boss System.Coaches and consultants turn to her when they're ready to say NO to time consuming, overly automated, bro-marketing, shake you down strategies, that leave everyone feeling less-than.They're ready to add $100k to their annual revenue and to say YES to a simple strategy that saves them time, uses their unique voice, passion, and expertise, to turn their efforts into a consistent, organic lead generating machine. They'll use her process on ANY platform to hit their most outlandish revenue goals, to increase their impact AND the amount of time they spend with their family.Get in touch with the Lead Boss Cat Stancik so you can finally go from overlooked to fully booked.>> https://actionincubator.com/FREE GIFT: Lead Boss Jump StartDownload the guide to filling your pipeline with quality leads, generating instant leads and creating content that converts.>> https://signaldmain.website/click?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.actionincubator.com%2Fjumpstart&dID=1613156673165&linkName=www.actionincubator.com/jumpstart See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

7 Principles to a More Productive Life Cat Stancik pt 2 (https://kcrpodcast.com/cat-stancik/) It is a known fact that business folks are always striving to better themselves, better their business and better their finances. Unfortunately, there is a lot of stuff out there just adds confusion instead of clarity. If you try to navigate the obstacle course yourself, you might make it. Then again, you might not. In order to be successful, you need someone who has been where you are now and overcame the obstacles. You need someone who has navigated the mine fields and can tell you where the traps are at. You need someone who can tell you what to avoid and what to do in certain situations. My guest today does just that. Cat Stancik is speaker, a best-selling author of the book, “7 Principles for a More Productive and Fulfilling Life” (which we will get into today). She is a business coach that is not afraid to use the “tough love” approach to get you to the next level. Often, it our own thoughts that really hold us back. Cat’s unique approach will use your own personality to guide you to the next level of success – and beyond. Cat Stancik’s business is called “Action Incubator” and will guide you from feeling overwhelmed and into creating great results! She uses a perfect mix of explosive strategies, compelling stories and a great personality to help you to succeed! When someone is trying to grow their business, especially their online business, prospect leads is one of the most needful, but yet most difficult things to obtain. It is possible to generate thousands of leads in a matter of days – but those are quantity over quality. (Don’t ask me how I know)… How do you help folks to flip that around and generate quality leads? Leads that turn into business? So many people feel they have to work, work, work on their business. But there are only 24 hours in the day. How do you help people manage the work-family relationship and not spend all of their time focused on the business? And money isn’t everything, right? So many people focus on the bright shiny objects that will propel them to “six figures.” But that really is not the number they should be focused on, correct? Let’s talk about your book, “7 Principles for a More Productive and Fulfilling Life.” It is a relatively short book and is an easy read, correct? How did you learn these 7 Principles? Can you explain what they are for us? What about outsourcing some of the routine tasks? And actually, maybe not routine only, but some things that you may not be an expert but you need to get finished? What is a technique you share that helps business folks to maintain their performance while avoiding the overwhelm? On your website, you have a VLOG, a video blog, that gives some great tips and advice. Short and to the point – and humorous at the same time. I love it. You make your point but keep it lively. I recommend folks check those out. Cat, I appreciate you taking the time to visit with us and share these insights with our listeners. If someone wanted to get in touch with you, ask a question or get more information on your services, how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you? How can someone get a copy of your book? How can someone listen to your podcast? You share such great information on there. Folks, you know you’ve been spinning your wheels trying to come up with a way to generate some additional income or maybe a way to leave your nine-to-five dead end job and launch out on your own. But you have been deceived, distracted and disgusted by all of the fly-by-night schemes that tell you, “Do this, this and this and you will see $10,000 in the next 30 days!” You invest and they send you 99 videos and six books and invite you to webinar or whatever…” But basically, you’re on your own. If that is you, then you need to get in touch with Cat Stancik. She will guide you past all of...

Thank you for coming on the show today! The first question I always ask is this. Other than the short intro I just shared, tell us in your own words, “Who is Cat Stancik?” One thing I left out of my introduction, you speak both French and Spanish as well, correct? Tell us about “Action Incubator.” How did you get started in the business coaching profession? But why did you decide this was the area you were going to build your expertise? There are so many niches in this area, why drill down in this specific area? When someone reaches out to you and asks for your help, what is one of the first things you want to know about them and their business Folks, you know you’ve been spinning your wheels trying to come up with a way to generate some additional income or maybe a way to leave your nine-to-five dead end job and launch out on your own. The Notes Stacy has always been interested in books and writing, and during a very difficult time in her life - when she was amid a very traumatic divorce from a sociopath - she took a memoir writing class. Writing her feelings and experiences was calming and therapeutic for her. It inspired her to study the therapeutic effect of writing and then paved the path for her current passions, helping other people experience the same benefits from writing their life stories. She shared some surprising stories of the experiences she encountered when her ex-husband cut the heat lines to her home during a frigid NY winter, called Child Protective Services on her, and even bugged her vehicle. Life Storytelling allowed Stacy to take these crazy things that had happened to her and turn it into a way for her to help other people. Growing up, Stacy's parents were pretty intent on her finding a traditional steady job. This was in the 80s, when entrepreneurialism was not as accepted as it is today. Now that she's an adult, her parents are very supportive. She admits that the mom guilt was strong, but she also knows that her daughters are preparing themselves for the real world. Stacy describes the experience of having her oldest daughter travel to Japan alone for over a month. Her daughter was always interested in Japan and even taught herself the language. There's no such thing as a Mission Impossible to Cat Stancik, who is known for her tough love approach that gets clients into focused action so that they can get out of overwhelm and create big results with significantly less effort! She works with high achieving entrepreneurs who want to stop focusing on the glorified 6 and 7 figure marks, and finally enjoy a profitable, balanced business. Cat does this by leveraging her proprietary system, to simplify, strategize and systematize to an entirely new level. Cat is the founder of Action Incubator™, a sought-after speaker, and Bestselling Author of 7 Principles for a More Productive and Fulfilling Life. As a self-proclaimed “Education Junkie” who genuinely cares about honing her coaching skills to get her clients better and bigger results, getting an MBA wasn't enough for Cat Stancik. She's also certified by The Coaches Training Institute, the Project Management Institute, and the Leadership Circle Profile 360 Assessment. She is also a long-time member of the International Coaching Federation, where she holds her ACC. She lives in Maryland with her two daughters and her adoring husband, who showers her with chocolate and massages (if he knows what's good for him). Right-click here to download the episode to your computer! The Notes During Cat's second pregnancy her husband made the decision to quit a “toxic” job in order to pursue his own entrepreneurial dreams. When Cat went into labor a month sooner than she expected, it threw them for a financial loop. She describes how their family managed welcoming their second baby, and she still managed to take a maternity leave from her own business, all while losing her husband's steady paycheck. Much of their balance comes from Cat's talent at simplifying steps and putting plans in place to enable her to be lazy later. [bctt tweet="“Put effort into being lazy” ~ Cat Stancik, FamilyPreneur Podcast Episode #5 " username="TheMegBrunson"] The Action Incubator is Cat's business and it's all about actions leading to profits. She helps entrepreneurs take focused action towards reaching their goals. We discuss the difference between revenues and profits. Revenue is how much your business is creating, whereas profits are how much you are actually paying yourself. A lot of it has to do with how you are investing and what you are spending your money on. She has saved clients up to $56,000/year by evaluating the way clients invest. [bctt tweet="“The secret in my sauce is accountability and tough love.” ~ Cat Stancik, FamilyPreneur Podcast Episode #5 " username="TheMegBrunson"] Cat recommends setting quarterly goals (as opposed to annual goals) and recommends that each quarter has one goal, one strategy, and one metric to measure that by. 90 days is just the right amount of time to make it feel possible, and give you enough pressure to put you into action. The goal should be uncomfortable enough that you want to work towards it, and work hard at it - but also within the realm of possibilities. [bctt tweet="“Failing is part of success…. It's not how you fail, it's how you get back up” ~ Cat Stancik, FamilyPreneur Podcast Episode #5 " username="TheMegBrunson"] Most of the information that you need to increase your profits is out there - but working with a coach provides accountability and helps you reach your goals faster. Her Branding is on point. Cat incorporates her personality and a love of movies into her brand and website. It's fun, unique, personal, and amazingly well done. As she says in the interview: even if you have no interest in working with her, you should totally check it out! In episode #2 of the FamilyPreneur Podcast, you will learn the number one piece of advice for pursuing entrepreneurship, from the perspective of each of our first 12 guests! Then, over the course of the next few weeks, you'll have the opportunity to listen to their full interviews in their entirety! Right-click here to download the episode to your computer! First, I'd like to introduce Angela Ferrari. Angela Ferrari is an artist, children's book author and illustrator based in Portland Maine. She is the creator and host of the Story Spectacular podcast. Angela grew up in the mountains of western Maine. Living in a rural setting, she developed a talent for finding creative ways to play and captivate her imagination. She has since expanded her artistic endeavors, writing and illustrating three children's books. Most recently Angela has launched Story Spectacular, a children's story podcast featuring original stories and classic retellings. #1 - Just go for it! - Angela Ferrari I would say that whatever you have inside you, whatever story you have to tell or creative venture you have, just go for it. I mean there's no excuse nowadays with all of the advantages we have with technology. You can not only, you know, write a book or make your own website. Not only do you have the tools to pursue, but you also have the tools to promote. Angela hit the nail on the head. Technology has made it easier than ever to monetize our passions. With the internet, we can create our storefront via a website, leverage social media for affordable marketing solutions, and research just about any question we have. Now, let's hear from Micala. Micala Quinn is a wife, mom, teacher, lifelong learner and founder of The Live Free Mama Movement. She helps moms launch their freelance business using the skills they already have so that they can have more freedom, flexibility, and financial stability to be the mom they want to be! Hi Micala, what advice do you have for new entrepreneurs? #2 - Done, Not Perfect - Micala Quinn Just one thing, and this is something that I follow and it's actually up on my wall. I'm in my office right now and I wanted this to be filled with inspirational and like happy thoughts. One of the phrases that I have been hearing from Dana Malstaff - it comes up in like all of her stuff on her Podcast and her group, and the Boss Mom retreat I went to. It's this idea of “done not perfect.” So if you're starting out and you are launching your freelance business - whatever services you are going to offer - just start! Get it out there. You don't have to have a website. You don't have to have a business Page. You just have to kind of have that clarity of what you're offering, and start telling people. That's great advice, Micala. It's easy to get overwhelmed with all of the things we think we need to do before we launch a business. But it's important to remember that you don't need to be perfect right out of the gate. You should not compare yourself to businesses who have been established for years. Everyone has to start somewhere and you dont need all the things right out out the gate. Focus on one thing at a time, and allow yourself to grow from there. Stacy Brookman has a great piece of advice to add. Stacy Brookman is a Resilience and Life Storytelling Expert and produces the Real Life Resilience podcast. Her mission is to tell stories of recovery from life's most difficult trauma and provide tools for resiliency for kids and adults. Hi Stacy, what is your top piece of advice? #3 - Start Small - Stacy Brookman Start small. You don't have to quit your job. I haven't yet quit my corporate job. I'm hoping to this next upcoming year. But you know, just go ahead and start. Start small. Make a lot of mistakes. That's okay. Make the mistakes when you're small. Like, I've tried to do some Facebook Lives and YouTube Lives and it took me a while before... Took me a lot of people are saying “There's no sound!” (Oh no!) It took me a while before I got the right formula. But you do it, and do it when you're small, and you can find that time. I take a lunch. You know, a lot of people in the corporate world don't take lunches. They just work right through it. That's my time I'm going to take it. I am going to step away from my desk. I'm going to work on my business. I think that's what everybody can and should do, because the way the economy is going is that there are more freelancers, more entrepreneurs, and you're giving yourself a boost for the future. Great addition, Stacy. Mistakes and even “failures” are essential steps to success. We have to make those mistakes in order to learn and improve. As moms it can also be hard to make time for ourselves, but I love how you found a way to carve time out of your lunch break - to work on your business a little bit each day. A “side hustle” can not only provide a great escape away from the mundane corporate world - a way to pursue our passions and it sparks the possibility for financial freedom. Susie Parker is our next guest - and she also works a corporate job alongside managing her successful business. Susie is a certified Sleep Consultant and founder of Sleep Baby Love, Child Sleep Consulting. She is a “been there done that” mom of two beautiful girls who have had her deal with many sleep challenges head on. Through personalized consulting and online courses, Susie helps many exhausted families teach their babies, toddlers and preschoolers to LOVE sleep. Welcome Susie, what is your number 1 piece of advice for parents pursuing entrepreneurship? #4 - It ain't easy. But it's worth it. - Susie Parker It ain't easy, but it's worth it! So, I found a business that I actually created where I was able to start with a lower investment. I mean I didn't have to create a product or anything. I had a website and I was able to through word of mouth get my first client, so that was a pretty good opportunity. If you can find something like that, without spending a ton of investment into branding or courses, at that point, just start your business. And then once you have clients and you have money coming in, figure out where you want to invest it. Getting rich happens for a lot of people, but it doesn't happen for everyone. I think these, “make a million dollars in a year,” you'd have to have a really premium price service, and if you're selling to your mom, I don't know necessarily that that's always the best service. So, you have to really figure out where you want to go, and don't get jealous of other people's success. Yes, it's definitely worth it! There are many many entrepreneurs who work a full time job while they are building the foundations of their “side hustle.” Starting a business with as little of an investment as possible is great advice, and then once you start making money you can reinvest that into expanding and growing your business. I also love that you mentioned not getting jealous of other people's success. Focus on improving yourself continuously, and draw inspiration from others, but know that people will follow you for being you. Next, let's hear from Vicki DeLuzio. Vicki echos some of Susie's advice, and adds her own perspective to it. Vicki is a blogging and homeschooling mom of 3 living in Surprise, Arizona (a suburb of Phoenix). Her and her husband are both entrepreneurs and she often and actively involves her children in her business. Hi Vicki, thanks for joining us! What's your best advice for someone thinking of starting their own business? #5 Make Financial Plans - Vicki DeLuzio You definitely have to know that you're not going to make money right off the bat, unless you have an incredible amazing idea, the percentage of that actually happening is so low. I mean, watch Shark Tank for instance. The people who are on Shark Tank, they have struggled for years and years, and they don't live the high life. So, realize that whatever you're starting out with, it's not going to go from zero to 60. You need to be prepared with both... especially health insurance. Look up your options for that, have savings. Have a plan in place, and know that you might have to work part time, or someone might have to work part time just make ends meet. Don't go into severe debt, because it's a hard hole to climb out of. And the stress of debt can be horrible on a family. Make sure you have a plan in place. Make sure you have a savings set aside. That would be my advice. As I mentioned before, There are many many entrepreneurs who start their businesses alongside a full time job, which allows them to maintain the perks and benefits of full-time employment - like health insurance. Some people hope to leave their corporate jobs some day, while others are content with balancing both on a more long-term basis. In either situation, self-employment provides a safety net in case something out of your control happens with your corporate job. Next, I'd like to welcome Kiki to the show. Kiki is my 10-year-old daughter, who you met in episode #1, and I'd like to remind you about the advice she indicated she'd give to her little sister, who recently indicated an interest in starting her own business. Hi Kiki, what advice would you offer your sister - or any of your friends - if they told you that they wanted to start their own business? #6 Mentoring and Coaching - Kiki I would start telling them about my business and how my business works. And we can work a little on both of our businesses together. So I can help her and teach her most of the stuff. I think that will be pretty helpful. Like me telling her like if you want a website maybe you should do this or that. I think I can pretty much help people by doing that. So…it sounds like what you would do if your sister or a friend wanted to start a business is try to figure out a way that you could work together. So like teamwork and help them figure things out along the way so it's you know it's almost like you'd want to be a coach to them kind of like I've been a business coach to you is that right? Yeah. So you think that you would just like to be a friend and help them through their questions and their problems in the best ways that you can. Yeah I want to try and help them so, yeah. What happens if you don't know an answer than you do? Maybe I would ask my business coach since she knows a lot more than me. Kiki is really onto something - she understands, even at a young age, that it takes a village. She's able to identify that she needs help and support from other, more experienced business owners in order to grow her business - and that she can extend her knowledge and expertise to entrepreneurs who are not quite where she is yet. It's this concept of building a tribe, or forming a mastermind group, that Lisa Betts-LaCroix also explores with us. Lisa is a speaker, actor, dancer and host of the Super Power U podcast. She speaks on the future of Education, has been featured in over 100 film and television roles and, though she began dancing late in life, she holds a World Title in Pro-Am American Rhythm Ballroom Dance. Lisa's parents were both entrepreneurs, she married an entrepreneurial husband, and her experiences with education and entrepreneurship have influenced her approach on homeschooling her children. Hi Lisa, what is your number one piece of advice for entrepreneurs? #7 We need a tribe - Lisa Betts-LaCroix We need a tribe. We need connections. We need support. And one of the things I noticed in our current life is that people often feel isolated. I have the belief that it is - if you feel isolated - it is on you. It is a possibility for you and the tools are in place for you to go out and create a community for yourself. The key thing I'd say about building community and making connections with people is that it's possible for everyone to do. And the key thing is to look at what you need and what kind of support you want. If you can scratch your own itch and meet your own need, and then bring other people into that, you probably will be both contributing greatly to people in ways that they will appreciate, and at the same time you'll synergistically be building a support network that you need for yourself. It's definitely easy to feel isolated both as a parent and as an entrepreneur. While I think in-person networking and support networks are really important, it's also important to keep in mind that technology makes it totally possible to find virtual support as well. Having a “tribe” or forming a mastermind group with other entrepreneurs who are at a similar place in their business is a great way to collaborate and find success together. Monique Parker is an academic life coach, author, and public speaker. She empowers and equips teens and young adults to experience success in school and in life, while preparing them for adulthood. Monique shares her number one piece of advice, both for parents and for teens and young adults… Welcome Monique, what advice do you have for exploring entrepreneurship? #8 Think outside of the box- Monique Parker So I am going to give two-fold because you know my heart is for the young people. That's good, give us two answers: parent-perspective and kiddo-perspective. Parent perspective would be to remember that your child is a little person. These are people that you are developing. As a parent entrepreneur, just like you would spend so much time in building your business, is your responsibility - and should be your duty, your choice, your love, and your passion to build up your young people to be a responsible adult. (I love that) For teens and young adults, I would say to walk to your own beat, do not feel like you have to be like everybody else. Give yourself grace. Give yourself love for yourself, to realize that you were innately born with special gifts to help the world. Help the masses, which in turn will benefit you and bless you. So I would say to you, as young people, to find your path, find it early, and shine brightly in that area. And do it because you want to do it, and because you love to do it, and because you love yourself enough that you want to be the best that you can be. Don't feel like you have to be in the box - Parents and teens - they don't have to be doctors and don't have to be lawyers. Find what your child is naturally gifted at and help them make a business off of that, and thrive off of that. I love Monique's perspective. Whether you have yourself or your child in mind… We all have special gifts, and those translate into marketable skills. Our paths are all going to look different because they all are beginning and ending in different places. And it's important to remember that there is no need to follow someone else's path. Even success looks differently to different people. And Sherry Bevan agrees. Sherry is a former Global Head of IT Service in an international law firm, she now runs The Confident Mother, an independent coaching practice. Sherry has been running her own business since 2012 and works as an author, coach and speaker. She specialises in helping ambitious women get clear on what they really want, then find the confidence to take action and move forward in their career or business. Hi Sherry, what is the best advice you have for parent entrepreneurs? #9 Be You - Sherry Bevan Oh, I think my number one piece of advice is the more you can be you, and be uniquely and unapologetically you, then the better things will be. Just be yourself, because nobody else can be you, in the same way as you can. That's great, Sherry. We did touch on this earlier as well. Just be you. Don't worry about the competitors in your niche - don't worry about trying to make everyone like you. As a matter of fact, it's impossible to make everyone like you! Identify your passion, build your business, and let your personality shine through. YOU are what sets your business apart from your competition. Sarah Humes dives deeper into self-reflection with her advice. Although Sarah is relatively new to the business world, she has been doing the wife and mom thing for about 13 years now. She is married to her husband David, and they and their children, bravely entered the business world with a company called In-Courage Living. Their mission? To help people do brave things---every day! #10 Identify your core values - Sarah Humes I would truly encourage anybody getting into business - parents or not parents - to make sure you know what your core values are. Knowing what you stand for, and what you believe in. I think when you go to make big changes in your life, and I know for me my business was a huge change in lifestyle - How to run my family, how to run my household - knowing what my core values are, they give me an anchor to come back to. Just the other day, I kind of had one of those moments where I felt like the household was kind of falling apart, learning how to run a household and a business is a lot of work- but, I had my core values to come back to. And I knew that I didn't want to yell at the people in my household, because kindness is a core value in our household. And I knew that I wanted to get my household back in order, because hospitality is one of our core values. I have those core values to come back to you and knowing what they are just always is an anchor for me. They anchor my business, they anchor my family, and they anchor me personally. Once you know what your core values are they can help give you a mission statement in your business and in your family. And they have just helped propel me along, every step of the way. Knowing that about myself has just given me purpose and I think that that is just one of the the most important things you can do. I really like that - our family doesn't have identified core values, but it's officially a project on my to-do list! The past couple pieces of advice have really focused on being you, being unique, identifying your passions and values. And once you have identified where your strengths really lie, Cat Stancik has some advice for you. Cat is known for her tough love approach that gets clients into focused action so that they can get out of overwhelm and create big results with significantly less effort! She works with high achieving entrepreneurs who want to stop focusing on the glorified 6 and 7 figure marks, and finally enjoy a profitable, balanced business. Cat is the founder of Action Incubator™, a sought-after speaker, and Bestselling Author of 7 Principles for a More Productive and Fulfilling Life. Hey Cat, can you share your number one piece of advice with us? #11 You Don't Have to Do Everything - Cat Stancik You don't have to do everything in your business. I know that especially for new entrepreneurs, you know, at any stage of the game this is true. You do not have to do everything in your business. You get focused on the things you need to do. Stay in your brilliance. And delegate the rest of that. So, I know that's like 3 different pieces of advice but they kind of link into each other, puzzle piece wise. Ultimately, you are not supposed to do everything in your business. Stay in your swim lane. Stay in your brilliance. That's where you enjoy playing. Do that! Don't concede and do stuff that you aren't great at doing. Have someone else who is great at doing it, do it! (Outsource and delegate) Yeah baby. As entrepreneurs, and as moms, we're always trying to do it all. But, it doesn't have to be that way. It shouldn't be that way. Much in the same way as we talked about finding a tribe and masterminding, it's okay to delegate tasks to others and even outsource elements of your business. This allows you to have better focus on the things you are best at - often times you can even outsource the things you just don't like doing - and that will help you be more efficient within your business. If you've been counting, you know that there is one piece of advice left, and it comes from Hannah B. King. Hannah is an off-beat, sunshine-&-sea-lovin' mama of two, an intuitive success mentor for creative entrepreneurial mamas, and a wild travelin' gypsy at heart. She has been an avid student of some of the best spiritual teachers, thought leaders, and intuitive healers around the world for the past 15 years. She is now on a mission, creating a movement of modern day mama's, collectively inspired on their journey of radical transformation and quantum growth, guiding them to create their dream desired lifestyle on their own terms. She spends her time tromping in waterfalls with her family or camping on the beaches on her island home of Maui, HI. Hey, Hannah, what is your number one piece of advice for our listeners? #12 Surrender & Grace - Hannah B. King I feel like there's one word that I have brought with me through my journey into becoming a mama. I had a very unusual entry into motherhood, than being pregnant, giving birth, becoming a mama, and then the role of parenthood, and then now raising my business. There's one word that has always been, I think, the ultimate saving grace and that is “surrender.” We want to hold on so tight to how we think something should go. And when we let go, and when we surrender and allow things to occur - even if it's the really sucky stuff, even if it's like, “I'm miserable.” Just surrender, and allow things to occur versus the tight grip on, “It's got to be just this way.” This can apply to everything from pregnancy, birth, motherhood, business, all the things... money, relationships, everything. We have these ideas, and we want to feel like we're in control of how they how they go. And I just think, it's the one thing that I tell everybody, which is just let go and surrender, and let things occur, and see what unfolds for you. Is it always easy? Absolutely not. But, surrender is key - to anything - to any growth that we want in our lives. So, I would say that would be the biggest number 1… One more thing, which would be to give yourself grace, and to be kind to yourself. Whether you're raising a business and you're doing an entrepreneurial endeavor, or you're raising your family - it is big work. It is hard work. And it is beautiful magical work. But it is not going to be enjoyable if we are beating ourselves up. So, give yourself kindness and love and respect. And when you're struggling with that, imagine yourself as your as your children. Imagine how you love your children. You might want to scream at them, and shake them sometimes, because they're driving you crazy. But ultimately, then you just want to hug them, and you want to love them - and that's how we have to treat ourselves. It's like the little girl, or the little boy in us, they just need love. We just need love. So be willing to. You know when you're really wanting to beat yourself up, look at yourself as if you look at your children. It's just pure love. And that will get you through everything. Action taking and taking the right action is the key to success. But how do you know what things that you should be doing? Well my guest today knows. She is a lady who has developed an online identity that is fun, inspiring and very different from what is out there. So one look at her website and I thought "Yeah this is something that I need to know more about" as it plays to the Join Up Dots message of authenticity. She is the founder of The Action Incubator, sought-after speaker, and Bestselling Author of 7 Principles for a More Productive and Fulfilling Life.
