God will engrave on your heart through his Word.
Message for 05/14/2023 "Consecration" by Justin McTeer. *All verses are NLT unless otherwise noted* Consecration, Cleansing, and Conquest Consecration Exodus 19:9-10 - Then the Lord said to Moses, “I will come to you in a thick cloud, Moses, so the people themselves can hear me when I speak with you. Then they will always trust you.” Moses told the Lord what the people had said. 10 Then the Lord told Moses, “Go down and prepare the people for my arrival. Consecrate them today and tomorrow, and have them wash their clothing. Leviticus 11:44 - For I am the Lord your God. You must consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Exodus 28:1-43 - “Call for your brother, Aaron, and his sons, Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. Set them apart from the rest of the people of Israel so they may minister to me and be my priests. 2 Make sacred garments for Aaron that are glorious and beautiful. 3 Instruct all the skilled craftsmen whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom. Have them make garments for Aaron that will distinguish him as a priest set apart for my service. 4 These are the garments they are to make: a chestpiece, an ephod, a robe, a patterned tunic, a turban, and a sash. They are to make these sacred garments for your brother, Aaron, and his sons to wear when they serve me as priests. 5 So give them fine linen cloth, gold thread, and blue, purple, and scarlet thread. 6 “The craftsmen must make the ephod of finely woven linen and skillfully embroider it with gold and with blue, purple, and scarlet thread. 7 It will consist of two pieces, front and back, joined at the shoulders with two shoulder-pieces. 8 The decorative sash will be made of the same materials: finely woven linen embroidered with gold and with blue, purple, and scarlet thread. 9 “Take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the tribes of Israel. 10 Six names will be on each stone, arranged in the order of the births of the original sons of Israel. 11 Engrave these names on the two stones in the same way a jeweler engraves a seal. Then mount the stones in settings of gold filigree. 12 Fasten the two stones on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod as a reminder that Aaron represents the people of Israel. Aaron will carry these names on his shoulders as a constant reminder whenever he goes before the Lord. 13 Make the settings of gold filigree, 14 then braid two cords of pure gold and attach them to the filigree settings on the shoulders of the ephod. 15 “Then, with great skill and care, make a chestpiece to be worn for seeking a decision from God. Make it to match the ephod, using finely woven linen embroidered with gold and with blue, purple, and scarlet thread. 16 Make the chestpiece of a single piece of cloth folded to form a pouch nine inches[b] square. 17 Mount four rows of gemstones on it. The first row will contain a red carnelian, a pale-green peridot, and an emerald. 18 The second row will contain a turquoise, a blue lapis lazuli, and a white moonstone. 19 The third row will contain an orange jacinth, an agate, and a purple amethyst. 20 The fourth row will contain a blue-green beryl, an onyx, and a green jasper. All these stones will be set in gold filigree. 21 Each stone will represent one of the twelve sons of Israel, and the name of that tribe will be engraved on it like a seal. 22 “To attach the chestpiece to the ephod, make braided cords of pure gold thread. 23 Then make two gold rings and attach them to the top corners of the chestpiece. 24 Tie the two gold cords to the two rings on the chestpiece. 25 Tie the other ends of the cords to the gold settings on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod. 26 Then make two more gold rings and attach them to the inside edges of the chestpiece next to the ephod. 27 And make two more gold rings and attach them to the front of the ephod, below the shoulder-pieces, just above the knot where the decorative sash is fastened to the ephod. 28 Then attach the bottom rings of the chestpiece to the rings on the ephod with blue cords. This will hold the chestpiece securely to the ephod above the decorative sash. 29 “In this way, Aaron will carry the names of the tribes of Israel on the sacred chestpiece over his heart when he goes into the Holy Place. This will be a continual reminder that he represents the people when he comes before the Lord. 30 Insert the Urim and Thummim into the sacred chestpiece so they will be carried over Aaron's heart when he goes into the Lord's presence. In this way, Aaron will always carry over his heart the objects used to determine the Lord's will for his people whenever he goes in before the Lord. 31 “Make the robe that is worn with the ephod from a single piece of blue cloth, 32 with an opening for Aaron's head in the middle of it. Reinforce the opening with a woven collar so it will not tear. 33 Make pomegranates out of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and attach them to the hem of the robe, with gold bells between them. 34 The gold bells and pomegranates are to alternate all around the hem. 35 Aaron will wear this robe whenever he ministers before the Lord, and the bells will tinkle as he goes in and out of the Lord's presence in the Holy Place. If he wears it, he will not die. 36 “Next make a medallion of pure gold, and engrave it like a seal with these words: Holy to the lord. 37 Attach the medallion with a blue cord to the front of Aaron's turban, where it must remain. 38 Aaron must wear it on his forehead so he may take on himself any guilt of the people of Israel when they consecrate their sacred offerings. He must always wear it on his forehead so the Lord will accept the people. 39 “Weave Aaron's patterned tunic from fine linen cloth. Fashion the turban from this linen as well. Also make a sash, and decorate it with colorful embroidery. 40 “For Aaron's sons, make tunics, sashes, and special head coverings that are glorious and beautiful. 41 Clothe your brother, Aaron, and his sons with these garments, and then anoint and ordain them. Consecrate them so they can serve as my priests. 42 Also make linen undergarments for them, to be worn next to their bodies, reaching from their hips to their thighs. 43 These must be worn whenever Aaron and his sons enter the Tabernacle or approach the altar in the Holy Place to perform their priestly duties. Then they will not incur guilt and die. This is a permanent law for Aaron and all his descendants after him. Exodus 29:21 - Then take some of the blood from the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his sons and on their garments. In this way, they and their garments will be set apart as holy. Leviticus 17:11 - for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the Lord. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible. 1 Kings 8:62-64 - Then the king and all Israel with him offered sacrifices to the Lord. 63 Solomon offered to the Lord a peace offering of 22,000 cattle and 120,000 sheep and goats. And so the king and all the people of Israel dedicated the Temple of the Lord. 64 That same day the king consecrated the central area of the courtyard in front of the Lord's Temple. He offered burnt offerings, grain offerings, and the fat of peace offerings there, because the bronze altar in the Lord's presence was too small to hold all the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings. Atonement Leviticus 16:6-9 - “Aaron will present his own bull as a sin offering to purify himself and his family, making them right with the Lord. 7 Then he must take the two male goats and present them to the Lord at the entrance of the Tabernacle. 8 He is to cast sacred lots to determine which goat will be reserved as an offering to the Lord and which will carry the sins of the people to the wilderness of Azazel. 9 Aaron will then present as a sin offering the goat chosen by lot for the Lord. Hebrews 9:22 - In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness. Romans 6:23a - For the wages of sin is death… Jesus John 1:29 - The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! Galatians 1:4 - Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live. Romans 3:23 - For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. 1 Timothy 2:4-6a NIV - who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. 1 Peter 3:18 - Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 1:30 - God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; he made us pure and holy, and he freed us from sin.

High on a shelf in my basement sites a special box. The box is sealed inside a plastic bag. Inside the box is another bag, which holds a dress. It is the wedding dress Elaine wore when she married me. It has been sealed away for a long time. It is a memorial of a special night and the commitments we made to each other. We usually don't think of clothes as memorials. But I bet you keep something in your closet that reminds you of a special occasion. The high priest in the Old Testament also wore a piece of memorial clothing called an ephod. It had special gem stones. Listen to Exodus 28:9-12, “Take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel in the order of their birth–six names on one stone and the remaining six on the other. Engrave the names of the sons of Israel on the two stones the way a gem cutter engraves a seal. Then mount the stones in gold filigree settings and fasten them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel. Aaron is to bear the names on his shoulders as a memorial before the LORD.” (NIV) Take a moment to look through your closet. Do you have anything that reminds you of God's love or of a special time with him? If so, stop, and remember and give thanks to God. 16 Make the chestpiece of a single piece of cloth folded to form a pouch nine inches square. Are you ready to leave 2021 behind and start making changes in 2022? One thing I have been doing for the past couple of years is picking a word of the year. I love the idea of choosing a Word of the Year vs. New Year's Resolution, because it helps bring focus and clarity to what we want to create in our lives. ...................................... FULL TRANSCRIPT ...................................... It’s here and aren’t we glad it’s here! Happy New Year! Hi, I'm Pascale Gibon. I wish you a Happy New Year and welcome you to the first episode of 2021, episode 176 of The Everyday Life Balance Show. I hope you had a glorious new year celebration despite some restrictions in some parts of the world. As I recommended have you set your clock for a brand fresh start? Indeed, a new year helps us to look ahead and start anew. Many people shared that in 2020 they found more balance. As a big proponent of a balanced and harmonious life, I would like to continue this trend this year. If you have not done so yet, I want to invite you again to set your intention for 2021 so that you live day by day with a clear purpose. For example, my intention for this year is to experience peace, always by being present and patient. This is the state of mind I want to cultivate throughout the year. Also, this is how I want to feel. The three Ps Peace, Patience and Present will be on my dream board as a constant reminder of the commitment to my 2021 intention. Now is your turn: what is your clear intention for 2021? The best way to set it up is to write it down where it will be visible to honour your commitment throughout the year and get back on track if you get lost. I believe that this practical exercise is essential and much more useful than a resolution. As you know, the majority of individuals do not fulfil their new year resolutions. Indeed, the statistics show that 80% of resolutions made in January do not pass February. In contrast, an intention is a deeper level of commitment: it is a deeper desire which is more authentic because it reflects the best YOU, your personal progress and it motivates you throughout the year. Here are your four action steps for a purposeful year: Action step #1: Set your intention now, which might be a goal, a feeling or a motivation. Action step #2: Engrave your intention in your mind Action step #3: Write your intention down somewhere you can view it regularly to keep you on track. Action step #4: Set your intention in motion. Remember that you have the power within to dream it, create it and live it: your best life. Now is your time to transform your life one step at a time. I wish you in 2021 lots of love, vibrant health and wellness, peace of mind, happiness and prosperity. I look forward to connecting with you next Monday. Have a fantastic week, take care and lots of love. ………………………. FREE RESOURCES ………………………. Love this? Watch now the three-part video training: "7 Key Principles To Achieve Your Dreams." 2021 - The Year of The Schlong We had a lot of fun wiht this episode. But we did hit some pretty serious topics about what it looks like is headed our way in 2021. We talked about our goals that we have with the show and even how to deal with life without worrying about death. We announce the new L&P Community - https://peakd.com/c/hive-143997/created on Hive. As well as our Hive powered website - https://loudandproud.live on Engrave (dblog). If you post to the L&P community and want your post to show on our site hit me up and I will add you as a collaborator. A Hive account is required. I have already made a video - https://3speak.co/watch?v=unklebonehead/vezkgkti explaining the process. Watch for more of these videos to come out. I'm calling them Boner's Tips. We also mention that with the new community that we will be creating a token to go along with it. I hadn't been able to come up with a name and as usual, you the audience took the reigns and named it yourselves. It will be called the SCHLONG! Yeah we made a lot of jokes about that the entire show. But it is really going to happen (as soon as I learn how to do it, lol)! Enjoy the show and I look forward to seeing you all next weekend! Dont forget to subscribe to the community and watch for the announcement of the Schlong token! *Special thumbnail/show artwork by @thisnewgirl doodled live during the show. Let your readers interact with your content easy and secure - Be visible on the web. SEO powered templates will boost your position on search engines results - Use your own domain - Want an RSS on it? Just add /feed to the end of your url. Boom! The only things I dont like are (not talked about in the video)... - It doesnt display videos or audio players. One would assume it would display at least an html5 player but it strips those out - There seems to be a problem with getting my domain pointed to it. Not sure if its there end or my end. I follwed the directions and let the dns propgate for a week and it would never show up. So I went back over to Runkod. - The backend isnt showing the wallet correctly yet. In fact at all. Other than those two things Engrave is absolutely awesome! --- Follow me on hive with PeakD Follow me on twitter @BoneheadUnkle Follow me on the fediverse Watch me on LBRY Watch me on 3Speak Support me on my BitPatron Folow Me on Rebuzz Get the audio podcast on Anchor.fm --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/landp/message
To get started as Reccommended by @hivepeople Hive people has written a really great post on how to get started so I'm going to ask you to go read the full post here. But in a a nutshell here is the process if you are brand new and are not coming from Steem as I was. >If you're brand-new to Hive and need a free account, we think the easiest way to get a free and instant Hive account is with Esteem app: https://esteem.app/signup Now for some reason or another eSteem was having issues that day but I was able to sign up through an @Engrave account by going through a link on https://signup.hive.io/ Just what ever you do dont give up. You will get in. Keep in mind these are real people and not some random bots that approve your invite. The Process was simple enough. When you clik on the big sign up button it takes you to a page that has list of users offering invites, whether they will hive delegated, any requirements to prove you are real and not a spammer. An estimated response time from them and how many invites they have remaining. Just choose one and click on the claim link on the far right and follow the instructions. Like I said pretty simple. By the way my invite said to expect 72 hrs for a response. I got in within 3-4 hrs. Thats pretty damn quick in my book. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!! **Save your private keys!** NOBODY CAN SEND THEM TO YOU AGAIN, **EVER!** If you loose them they are gone forever. You will have to start over with brand new keys and new identity. They are randomly generated and not stored in any database. These are not passwords. You have to think of them as a physical metal key to get into your house. Save them on a usb stick, sd card or print them out on paper! It can not be stressed enough. **SAVE YOUR KEYS!!!!!** ### Whats Next? Well @hivepeople recommend the following: 1. Write a post introducing yourself and make sure to use the #introduceyourself tag. 2. Join 3 Communities that interest you: https://peakd.com/communities 3. Follow @hivepeople on Hive and tag us in your #introduceyourself post so that we can find and upvote you. 4. Join the Hive tech support channel in Telegram: https://t.me/hiveblockchain 5. Follow @hivepeople on Twitter and tag us in a tweet if you need help with any of the steps above: https://twitter.com/HivePeople Some of which I did. I think the only thing I didnt do is Telegram because I dont like Telegram. Now start being social! How I post When I'm at home or on the laptop on wifi. I use [PeakD](https://peakd.com) through the Brave browser. I also tend to switch hit and use the [eSteem](https://esteem.app/) desktop app as well. While I'm on the browser subject you can use a couple of extensions on Brave. There is HiveSigner and/or Hive Keychain. I'm currently running Hivesigner on the Frankenputer big dog computer and Hive Keychain on my Chromebook C300 running GalliumOS.And both work beautifully. I honestly cant decide which one I like better. It does seem to be that Hive Keychain is just a tad faster on the C300 than the Frankenputer. When I'm on mobile, which is 80% of the week I currently use 2 android apps. I use [Hive Wallet](https://hivewallet.app/) and/or [eSteem's android app](https://esteem.app). I admit that eSteem is my go to android app currently. Because it just works. But HiveWallet does have a browser that lets you use other hive apps such as PeakD. It is honestly a little clanky at the moment but it is still ver, very new as with everything in the Hive ecosystem. But that is what is making this jouney so damn exciting! https://peakd.com/hive-198524/@hivepeople/hive-for-noobs-hive-198524 https://peakd.com/hive-174578/@sidwrites/11-hive-mistakes --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/landp/message

Man should take responsibility for what man has created. I take responsibility for what I create. I take care of you. From the moment I created you to the moment you decide on your own creation, I take care of you. You will prosper. You will experience joy. I sent so many to teach you how to forgive each other. Some of those emissaries stand out more than others. Some work in the shadows. Just as I ask you to forgive yourself and each other, I ask that you forgive me. There will be questions as to why I would ask this. And I say, forgive me for I know what is best for you. And at times, when you are kicking and screaming and angry at me, there is something more wonderful you deserve in your life that can only happen by what you are experiencing. Do you have to suffer? All humans suffer. Do you have to be patient? Do you know how long it took me to create all the universes? All I require of you is to love one another as I have loved you, as I will continue to do. But please, stop torturing each other. Stop fighting amongst each other. What mother enjoys her children bickering and fighting? I certainly do not. There are those who say they fight for love, for justice. But I know the difference. I know the difference between fighting for justice and fighting for greed. I gave birth to you after all. And this planet needs to respect the mothers. Every womb on this planet is sacred. The wombs must be preserved. Without the womb, there is no life. Man will try to recreate life outside of the womb. But you see, the flesh touching is vital nurturing that all beings need. Opiates prevent that. Opiates create a scenario where the beings are so numb to their pain that they will withdraw. It is not about doing more, it's about being more. Being more to yourselves. Be more of who you truly are and express it. And quit making other people responsible. You are responsible for what is within you. You are responsible for what you gave birth to. I am waiting eagerly for you to come home so that I might display your creations. I will do so with great joy and pride in what you have created. Engrave your lifetime with your mark, with your identity, your signature and your style. It is perfectly fine to emulate those who you admire, but create it in your own style. Do it in your own way and show me who you are as an individual. I love to look at you and say, “Ah, she's just like me. He just does this like me. We can do that, and I love it. They get that from me.”I will go to war to protect the innocent. I will go to war to feed the hungry. I will go to war to make sure that my children are nurtured and loved and taken care of. But too many use my name in a war that is faked. It is not okay to destroy civilizations and cultures that have taken thousands of years to create and develop. They should be preserved. This is why I love museums, they preserve human creations. I will do my best to preserve what I can at this time. But when humanity decides to destroy something, I will create from that destruction.I promise you my children, I will create from the destruction which I did not create. I will heal what I can. But I ask you to take the reins of compassion and kindness and caring that goes beyond your bloodlines and beyond your greed. Nurture one another through music, through dance, art and delicious food. Nurture through being present for others, through touch and through generosity. I ask you to take the reins and be who you were created to be. You are gods and goddesses upon this Earth, incarnated for benevolent reasons. The battle that is going on right now is greater than what I consider to be the best. But, my interpretation of battles, it is vastly different than humanity's interpretation.I did not create cancer. Man created cancer. I did not create hunger. Man created hunger. I did not create disease and I did not create prejudice. Man created prejudice. I am not ready to control you. I am here to love you. I will always love you and I will always protect you. There are those who depart this world in heinous ways which they did not deserve. They are innocent people who have so much potential to create, but I am present to help them. I will gather them back into my womb and I will nurture them. I will give them peace. I will let them play once again with each other. And I will love them. This is my message for those of you who feel like your loved ones have been taken from you too soon. This is for those who have known love and appreciated love and are grateful for love. Know that it is not taken from you. It is preserved for you. It is waiting for you and it is ready for you to enjoy again. I will not, I will not take from you that which your heart truly, truly loves. I am sorry you are witnessing your children dying because of the creations of man. I am sorry, but I am grateful for those who become avatars of healing and hope, of nurturing and compassion.Rise avatars, rise. Now is your time to rise for if you do not, if you do not there will be more pain and suffering that is unnecessary. Rise avatars, rise and show who you are. Do not be afraid. You are sanctioned by the Divine. You are blessed by the Divine and in the process, it is quite possible that mankind will try to destroy you. They may try to cease the work that you do, to throttle you when you are weak. But you must stand. Please stand because I believe in you and I believe you know what I created for you.I created abundance for all of you, not for one or a few of you to hoard. I did not create for you to be greedy or to reign over others with what I created. No, that was never my way, never. My promise unto you my beloveds is eternal life, eternal joy and love, eternal peace and happiness, all eternal, oh my loves. I will never leave you and I will always believe in you. I will always believe in you. Come to me in your dreams awake and asleep. Come to me and know that I have storehouses and vast resources for you to tap into now. Now is the time for humanity to be greater than it has ever been. Now is the time for you to rise up in dignity and respect one another. Now is the time!!!

Thomas DeMoss, entrepreneur “Leave your Mark” is our slogan. We opened up The Recognition Place in 2012. As a business model this is what we do. Engrave. Leave a mark. People bring things in for engraving. These are items that people want to give to someone else that are reminders of something special or for an appreciation but whatever the case, it is forever. My Passion The wonder that metaphysics provides me is awesome. Going to space isn’t profitable anymore unless we can mine an asteroid. I do machining with my dad. We made something for NASA and the space shuttle which I really liked doing. It was an experience giving my intellect to humanity through my work with NASA. My Community We want to do a mentorship here at the store. It’s important to show young folks what a business is and what it takes. There are so many things people don’t think about regarding owning a business but people often glamorize it. Jason York, Entrepreneur The Forever in our Business ‘Forever’ is popular around here because what we do is forever. It’s fun to leave your mark on something that’s going to be passed down for generations. Having forever attached to us and our business, The Recognition Place, is pretty neat. It’s Not Just About the Engraving Looking at how we’re doing things is important. What’s positive as opposed to what is negative. It’s all part of learning how to do things better. Thomas and I have an influence on the world and it’s a positive one. We engrave but it’s more than that. We started our business at a really young age and we’re successful businessmen because we’re responsible and dedicated. It’s not just about the engraving the baby cup and it’s not just engraving the plaque but it’s leaving that mark for people forever within our community. Science, Space and volunteering captured my heart Science and space made an imprint on me. I’d like to make it to Mars some day. It’s a stepping stone to look towards the stars as those were our navigation at one time. It’s important to leave our positive imprint on the world. (#) Partial transcript Thomas DeMoss, entrepreneur “Leave your Mark” is our slogan. We opened up The Recognition Place in 2012. As a business model this is what we do. People bring things in for engraving. These are items that people want to give to someone else that are reminders of something special or for an appreciation but whatever the case, it is forever. Personally I want to tutor somebody in astrophysics, math or science and that’s the impression I want to leave. For me it’s about expanding and growing. Our business is cyclical. We leave a mark but people leave a mark on us with the stories they tell about the item, or the recipient or maybe the phrase they want engraved. We measure twice cut once but in reality we measure fifteen or sixteen times for some items that are irreplaceable. (Thomas is a business owner and husband to Rebecca) My Passion My passion is all about the future of humanity but way in the million years from now. Everything today is just a short-sighted view of what is coming and I like to learn about what’s going to happen. Watching and reading what astrophysics professors are doing or have done is pretty neat. People like Carl Sagan. Preparing myself to be tutored in this area and then tutor others is a passion of mine. The wonder that metaphysics provides me is awesome. Back in the 1600s people looked in the sky and saw something way out there. Well they figured out how to see it by making all sorts of contraptions. Just the awe that our brain can do and see something that is millions of miles away and I want to know how they did it. It’s a surreal experience for me and I want to be a part of that and then pass it forward. This is what it means for us and technology. Going to space isn’t profitable anymore unless we

Exodus 27:20-30:1020 “Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning. 21 In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come.28 “Have Aaron your brother brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, so they may serve me as priests. 2 Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor. 3 Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest. 4 These are the garments they are to make: a breast piece, an ephod, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban and a sash. They are to make these sacred garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so they may serve me as priests.5 Have them use gold, and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and fine linen.6 “Make the ephod of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen—the work of skilled hands. 7 It is to have two shoulder pieces attached to two of its corners, so it can be fastened. 8 Its skillfully woven waistband is to be like it—of one piece with the ephod and made with gold, and with blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and with finely twisted linen.9 “Take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel 10 in the order of their birth—six names on one stone and the remaining six on the other. 11 Engrave the names of the sons of Israel on the two stones the way a gem cutter engraves a seal. Then mount the stones in gold filigree settings 12 and fasten them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel. Aaron is to bear the names on his shoulders as a memorial before the Lord. 13 Make gold filigree settings 14 and two braided chains of pure gold, like a rope, and attach the chains to the settings.15 “Fashion a breast piece for making decisions—the work of skilled hands. Make it like the ephod: of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen. 16 It is to be square—a span long and a span wide—and folded double.17 Then mount four rows of precious stones on it. The first row shall be carnelian, chrysolite and beryl; 18 the second row shall be turquoise, lapis lazuli and emerald;19 the third row shall be jacinth, agate and amethyst; 20 the fourth row shall be topaz, onyx and jaspe Mount them in gold filigree settings. 21 There are to be twelve stones, one for each of the names of the sons of Israel, each engraved like a seal with the name of one of the twelve tribes.22 “For the breastpiece make braided chains of pure gold, like a rope. 23 Make two gold rings for it and fasten them to two corners of the breastpiece. 24 Fasten the two gold chains to the rings at the corners of the breastpiece, 25 and the other ends of the chains to the two settings, attaching them to the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front. 26 Make two gold rings and attach them to the other two corners of the breastpiece on the inside edge next to the ephod. 27 Make two more gold rings and attach them to the bottom of the shoulder pieces on the front of the ephod, close to the seam just above the waistband of the ephod. 28 The rings of the breastpiece are to be tied to the rings of the ephod with blue cord, connecting it to the waistband, so that the breastpiece will not swing out from the ephod.29 “Whenever Aaron enters the Holy Place, he will bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart on the breast piece of decision as a continuing memorial before the Lord. 30 Also put the Urim and the Thummim in the breast piece, so they may be over Aaron’s heart whenever he enters the presence of the Lord. Thus Aaron will always bear the means of making decisions for the Israelites over his heart before the Lord.31 “Make the robe of the ephod entirely of blue cloth, 32 with an opening for the head in its center. There shall be a woven edge like a collar[c] around this opening, so that it will not tear. 33 Make pomegranates of blue, purple and scarlet yarn around the hem of the robe, with gold bells between them. 34 The gold bells and the pomegranates are to alternate around the hem of the robe. 35 Aaron must wear it when he ministers. The sound of the bells will be heard when he enters the Holy Place before the Lord and when he comes out, so that he will not die.36 “Make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal: holy to the Lord.37 Fasten a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban; it is to be on the front of the turban. 38 It will be on Aaron’s forehead, and he will bear the guilt involved in the sacred gifts the Israelites consecrate, whatever their gifts may be. It will be on Aaron’s forehead continually so that they will be acceptable to the Lord.39 “Weave the tunic of fine linen and make the turban of fine linen. The sash is to be the work of an embroiderer. 40 Make tunics, sashes and caps for Aaron’s sonsto give them dignity and honor. 41 After you put these clothes on your brother Aaron and his sons, anoint and ordain them. Consecrate them so they may serve me as priests.42 “Make linen undergarments as a covering for the body, reaching from the waist to the thigh. 43 Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the tent of meeting or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they will not incur guilt and die.“This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants.29 “This is what you are to do to consecrate them, so they may serve me as priests: Take a young bull and two rams without defect. 2 And from the finest wheat flour make round loaves without yeast, thick loaves without yeast and with olive oil mixed in, and thin loaves without yeast and brushed with olive oil. 3 Put them in a basket and present them along with the bull and the two rams. 4 Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water. 5 Take the garments and dress Aaron with the tunic, the robe of the ephod, the ephod itself and the breast piece. Fasten the ephod on him by its skillfully woven waistband. 6 Put the turban on his head and attach the sacred emblem to the turban. 7 Take the anointing oil and anoint him by pouring it on his head. 8 Bring his sons and dress them in tunics 9 and fasten caps on them. Then tie sashes on Aaron and his sons. The priesthood is theirs by a lasting ordinance.“Then you shall ordain Aaron and his sons.10 “Bring the bull to the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head. 11 Slaughter it in the Lord’s presence at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 12 Take some of the bull’s blood and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour out the rest of it at the base of the altar. 13 Then take all the fat on the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and both kidneys with the fat on them, and burn them on the altar. 14 But burn the bull’s flesh and its hide and its intestines outside the camp. It is a sin offering.15 “Take one of the rams, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.16 Slaughter it and take the blood and splash it against the sides of the altar. 17 Cut the ram into pieces and wash the internal organs and the legs, putting them with the head and the other pieces. 18 Then burn the entire ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the Lord, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord.19 “Take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on its head.20 Slaughter it, take some of its blood and put it on the lobes of the right ears of Aaron and his sons, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. Then splash blood against the sides of the altar. 21 And take some bloodfrom the altar and some of the anointing oil and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments and on his sons and their garments. Then he and his sons and their garments will be consecrated.22 “Take from this ram the fat, the fat tail, the fat on the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, both kidneys with the fat on them, and the right thigh. (This is the ram for the ordination.) 23 From the basket of bread made without yeast, which is before the Lord, take one round loaf, one thick loaf with olive oil mixed in, and one thin loaf. 24 Put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and have them wave them before the Lord as a wave offering. 25 Then take them from their hands and burn them on the altar along with the burnt offering for a pleasing aroma to the Lord, a food offering presented to the Lord. 26 After you take the breast of the ram for Aaron’s ordination, wave it before the Lord as a wave offering, and it will be your share.27 “Consecrate those parts of the ordination ram that belong to Aaron and his sons: the breast that was waved and the thigh that was presented. 28 This is always to be the perpetual share from the Israelites for Aaron and his sons. It is the contribution the Israelites are to make to the Lord from their fellowship offerings.29 “Aaron’s sacred garments will belong to his descendants so that they can be anointed and ordained in them. 30 The son who succeeds him as priest and comes to the tent of meeting to minister in the Holy Place is to wear them seven days.31 “Take the ram for the ordination and cook the meat in a sacred place. 32 At the entrance to the tent of meeting, Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that is in the basket. 33 They are to eat these offerings by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no one else may eat them, because they are sacred. 34 And if any of the meat of the ordination ram or any bread is left over till morning, burn it up. It must not be eaten, because it is sacred.35 “Do for Aaron and his sons everything I have commanded you, taking seven days to ordain them. 36 Sacrifice a bull each day as a sin offering to make atonement. Purify the altar by making atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrateit. 37 For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy.38 “This is what you are to offer on the altar regularly each day: two lambs a year old. 39 Offer one in the morning and the other at twilight. 40 With the first lamb offer a tenth of an ephah[f] of the finest flour mixed with a quarter of a hin[g] of oil from pressed olives, and a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering. 41 Sacrifice the other lamb at twilight with the same grain offering and its drink offering as in the morning—a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord.42 “For the generations to come this burnt offering is to be made regularly at the entrance to the tent of meeting, before the Lord. There I will meet you and speak to you; 43 there also I will meet with the Israelites, and the place will be consecrated by my glory.44 “So I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar and will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests. 45 Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God. 46 They will know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.30 “Make an altar of acacia wood for burning incense. 2 It is to be square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits high[h]—its horns of one piece with it.3 Overlay the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it. 4 Make two gold rings for the altar below the molding—two on each of the opposite sides—to hold the poles used to carry it. 5 Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 6 Put the altar in front of the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law—before the atonement cover that is over the tablets of the covenant law—where I will meet with you.7 “Aaron must burn fragrant incense on the altar every morning when he tends the lamps. 8 He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come. 9 Do not offer on this altar any other incense or any burnt offering or grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it. 10 Once a year Aaron shall make atonement on its horns. This annual atonement must be made with the blood of the atoning sin offering for the generations to come. It is most holy to the Lord.”Download Message SlidesDownload Message Notes

This week, we are joined by two amazing Italian producers. First up, we explore some dense and earthy music with Black Seed (Matteo Viani) - a Turin-based producer with a phenomenal new 12" on Sign Bit Zero. Matteo says he's in a more reflective time in his life - which shows on this mix. After that, we head to the dancefloor with the Berlin-based Enzo Elia. Enzo has been crafting huge tunes for years, both solo, and with projects like Balearic Gabba Soundsystem and El Freakadell. This has seen him release records on some of the finest labels around - Golf Channel, Freerange, Compost, Hell Yeah, and Black Pearl. His new 12", a split with Jepe, has just been released on Engrave Ltd. We honoured to air Enzo's Black Birthday mixtape in celebration. *Intro* Yves Tumor - Love Is The Law [Self] *Black Seed* --No Tracklist-- -- Anton Kubikov - Timeless [Kompakt* *Enzo Elia* Lukas Bohlender - Portamento [Compost Black Label] Carlos - Moonball [Engrave Ltd] Siren - Paradise (Siren Rmx) [Compost Records] WhoMadeWho - I Don't Know (Stereocalypse Rmx) [Embassy Of Music] Enzo Elia -Turks Do it Better [Engrave Ltd] Enzo Elia - Black Birthday [Engrave Ltd] Lehar - Metrotango [Diynamic Music] Stöer - Night Falls ft. Title: Engrave Series: The Watchmen Speaker: Darren Stott 5/17/15
Unmeaning By Rebecca L. Brown They crawled before his eyes, those centipedes of syllables. He’d gathered them up one sentence at a time and tried to tame them. Tried to teach them how to dance. To punctuate the bareness of a blank page with elaborate linguistic ballet. Too many parts. Too many nuances of meaning. In each syllable, a palimpsest. All the dirty little sounds - they shared them. Swapped them. Meaning and unmeaning like an ugly Summer morning. Like a mind so full of meanings that they blur. They shifted. Slipped out from the edges of the pages when he wasn't looking. Slipped into his dreams - a linguist’s dreams - and burned their meanings in the darkened corners of his mind ‘til morning. A word can cut you if you let it. Let them cut or cut them first. Engrave them with new meaning or allow them to define - and you the definition of a fool. No. He would not be made a fool of. He’d pinned them to their pages, then, all broken-backed - loose-lettered and unlovely. His pen a scalpel blade, he cut away the silent letters first. Double letters next. A lexicographic massacre - cut deep enough and all that’s left is meaning and the truth inside. Confetti pages fell like fresh, unwritten snow. He laughed - is laughter just a sound and not a word? Just sound without a meaning? He laughed until his cheek bones ached and words were nothing but the shadow of forgotten meanings. *** Rebecca L.
