Just the Ten of Us is a sitcom that aired on ABC from 1988 to 1990. The show was developed by Steve Marshall as a spin-off of Growing Pains. The series follows high-school coach Graham Lubbock (Bill Kirchenbauer), who relocates his large family from New York to California after taking a job at an all boy Catholic school. Now the Lubbock's will deal with the chaos and culture shock of the move mixed with Graham having to keep an entire school away from his teenage daughters. The series was part of ABC's successful TGIF lineup. However, despite decent ratings and winning its time slot, the show was abruptly cancelled in the Spring of 1990. This was largely in part to the networks growing relationship with Miller-Boyett, who produced every TGIF show except Just the Ten of Us. Over time, the show has settled into “deep-cut” sitcom status. Will the S1E1 boys enjoy this one? Listen as they deep dive the show's first episode, "Move It or Lose It". On this episode of Vitality Radio, Jared is joined once again by homeopathic consultant Amanda Kotter of Elemental Health to demystify one of the most misunderstood natural medicine systems: homeopathy—specifically how it's used safely and effectively with children. Parents often feel unsure about homeopathic remedies because of unfamiliar names, unusual potencies, and misconceptions about strength and safety. In this conversation, Jared and Amanda simplify the process by walking through a short list of essential remedies every parent should understand. You'll learn when and why remedies like Ferrum Phos, Mag Phos, Aconite, Chamomilla, and Arnica are commonly used for kids, how to think about potency without getting overwhelmed, and why homeopathy is often a gentle first step rather than a last resort. This episode is practical, approachable, and designed to help parents feel confident using homeopathy in real life. Products:Build your own Kids Remedy Kit: Choose any 5 products from this Collection and automatically receive 20% off through February 26, 2026.Vitality Radio POW! In this episode, Mellissa Seaman explores the growing pains of success: those tender, disorienting moments that can arise after you've reached the goals you once dreamed of. Inspired by a conversation with a highly successful, world-renowned client, Mellissa shares why big expansion can surface grief, loss, and unexpected emotional challenges. Tread Perilously's Winter Patreon Request Month continues with a Growing Pains episode called "Home Malone". When Maggie and the rest of the Seavers make their way to Boston to clean up her parents' home, the ghost of her father appears, but cannot communicate with the living. He's also confused why he's been sent back to Earth. Meanwhile, Maggie and her mother deal with some unresolved issues, Jason gets progressively more injured, Mike's scheme to get out of work backfires, and the rest of the family makes too many jokes at Carol's expense. We promise, though, this is a sitcom. Justin and Erik discuss the reasons why it took a listener request to finally cover Growing Pains. Guest star Gordon Jump's history with that infamous Diff'Rent Strokes episode is, naturally, discussed. Joanna Kerns proves to be the MVP. Justin fails to remember most of the character names. The show's white-hot hatred of Carol is examined. The pair also tries to determine the character traits of the younger two Seaver kids. Erik also decides to give one member of the cast the benefit of the doubt due to being 15 at the time the episode was made. Justin reveals that Erik is not a film snob and mustard becomes an important analogy.

In Growing Pains, Shaneé and Des have an honest conversation about what it really looks like to navigate life in your 20s. This episode dives into the truths behind growing up that people don't always talk about. The discomfort, the loneliness, the hard lessons, and the moments that force you to sit with yourself. They reflect on their own experiences and the realization that turning 25 and having a fully developed frontal lobe doesn't suddenly make life easier or more fun. Growth wasn't glitz and glam. It was uncomfortable, challenging, and at times hard to accept.Shaneé and Des talk about processing change, learning how to move through uncertainty, and understanding that growth doesn't always feel good in the moment. This episode is a reminder that transitions don't mean you're failing, feeling lost doesn't mean you're behind, and growth looks different for everyone. If you're in a season of becoming, figuring things out, or learning as you go, you're not alone. You're still doing better than you think.New episodes drop every Wednesday at 12. We discuss our growing pains in 2025 (16:20) and incidentally hit a few distinct questions along the way. Are we just creating artificial growing pains (18:50)? Do we have an inner need to grow (21:40)? Do we need better processes for discernment to identify where we need to grow (25:00)? What's the difference between monotonous pain and new stretch zones (28:30)? Is some growth contrived (35:00)? What are we nostalgic for (43:35)? And what growing pains should we consider undertaking before becoming parents (46:00)? Lastly, as always, we close with The Dressing Room (48:50) and some things to try on for size in the new year! Send us a textGrowing PainsPastor Jerrid FletcherDecember 28, 2025“Growing Pains” is a year-end call to interpret the hard parts of this year with spiritual clarity instead of emotional conclusions. Pastor Jerrid connects the journey from vulnerability (Jesus in Gethsemane) and disappointment (David's honest prayers) to the shared reality we all felt in 2025: growth often meets us where life still feels unfinished. Using the language of seasons from Ecclesiastes 3, the message reframes growing pains as sacred indicators of transition—evidence that God is moving us from who we were into who we're becoming. Finally, Pastor Jerrid anchors the sermon in Job, reminding us that obedience doesn't exempt us from pain, and that God often doesn't give explanations—He gives Himself. Job's perspective is enlarged, his soul is anchored in the Lord, and his life becomes “considerable”—a faith God can point to. The closing challenge is simple and weighty: will we leave this year bitter or better, guarded or grounded, resistant or resilient—and can God say of us, “Have you considered my servant…”?Discussion Questions Looking back on 2025, where did you feel “growing pains” the most—spiritually, emotionally, mentally, or physically—and what did that season expose about what you depend on?1. Pastor Jerrid asked: “Did you grow bitter or become better? guarded or grounded? resistant or resilient?”Which one best describes your response this year, and why?2. Ecclesiastes 3 says seasons are appointed. What “season” do you believe you were in this year (building, tearing down, waiting, healing, planting, uprooting), and how does naming it change your perspective?3. Job didn't get explanations—he got an encounter. Where are you currently demanding a “why,” and what would it look like to anchor your faith in the Who instead?

**APPLICATIONS CLOSE 12/31/25 FOR IMPACT COLLECTIVE MASTERMIND** What happens when your consulting business no longer needs you in the work but needs you to lead the leaders? In this final episode of the Growing Pains series, I break down what it really takes to build a Scalable Firm. This phase, often experienced somewhere between $1M and $3M in revenue, is defined by adding leadership layers, stepping fully into the CEO role, and creating the operational clarity required to support a growing team. I share why letting leaders lead is essential, how complexity increases as your client base and team expand, and what can happen when scalable operations are skipped. I also close with a final vignette of Jean, our fictional consultant, to illustrate what this stage can look like when it's navigated with intention and strong leadership. This episode is for nonprofit consultants who want to build a firm that creates real impact, supports their life, and actually works. Better Together!

In this week's Stansberry Investor Hour, Dan and Corey welcome Luke Lango to the show. Luke is the senior investment analyst at our corporate affiliate InvestorPlace. He has built a reputation for spotting tech stocks on the verge of major market breakouts.   Luke kicks things off by sharing his thoughts on what many consider to be the current "AI bubble." He follows that up with how the jobs market is going to transition as AI continues to develop and how the economy will fare during that period. And he provides data for how the AI data-center epicenter has impacted the housing market. (0:00)   Next, Luke discusses the shift from companies using graphics processing units ("GPUs") to tensor processing units ("TPUs") for their data centers and why this is taking place. He then gives his thoughts on whether Intel can become a viable competitor again in this market. And he highlights the risks around the AI companies being interconnected and feeding into each other. (18:53)   Finally, Luke expresses why he's pleased that Alphabet has begun to act as a competitor to Nvidia with its own TPUs. He also covers AI being used in ads and how companies like Meta Platforms have seen success with utilizing it in that area. The three all share how they're all using AI in their personal use cases. And Luke gives his thoughts on what the big investment themes are going to be for 2026. (39:01)

Visibility increases, stronger talent begins to find you, and leadership demands rise in ways that often feel heavier than expected. This is the phase where achievement must shift from personal client work to team success, and where many consultants plateau without meaning to. In this episode, I unpack what actually changes at this level, including the move toward a full-time team, the need to simplify and refine your offer, the importance of operational and financial maturity, and the leadership and mindset shifts required to stop rescuing the business and start leading it. This stage is not just about growth. It is about evolving into the kind of leader your business now requires so growth becomes sustainable instead of exhausting.   Better Together!

How do you embrace progress without losing the soul that made a sport special in the first place? That's the question we toy with in this episode. We are experiencing a strange déjà vu as athletes in two niche sports going mainstream. CrossFit exploded during the 2014-2018 years, which were also our most competitive as athletes. And now gravel is following a similar arc. In this episode, we look at the parallels we've experienced firsthand. Both CrossFit and Gravel Biking began as a countercultural resistance to the more serious and overproduced mainstream versions of their sport. CrossFit grew from gritty garage gyms to a global spectacle with the rise of the CrossFit Games, title sponsors, and a flood of new unaffiliated athletes. Gravel was once a quiet, adventure-driven niche and is now full of pro teams, big-money races, aero arms races, and media attention. It's a conversation about culture, values, commercialization, and nostalgia. We unpack why these shifts feel emotional, even when growth brings better racing, safer events, and more opportunity for everyone.
