The Peptide Podcast
Peptide Stacking

The Peptide Podcast

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 3, 2025 6:12

Today, we're talking about a hot topic in the world of fitness and wellness: peptide stacking. Whether you're looking to build lean muscle, burn fat, enhance recovery, or boost cognitive function, peptide stacking could be a game-changer. But, just like anything, it's important to know the ins and outs of how it works and how to “stack” safely. What is Peptide Stacking? So, what is peptide stacking, and how can it benefit you? Let's break it down. At its core, peptide stacking refers to the practice of combining different peptides to maximize their individual effects and synergize their benefits. Keep in mind, there's no "magic" stack that works for everyone. Each stack is chosen based on the person's symptoms or what effect they want to achieve. The concept is pretty similar to stacking supplements or combining different types of training programs. When done right, stacking peptides can enhance muscle growth, accelerate fat loss, improve recovery, and boost cognitive function. But, not all peptides play well together, and some shouldn't be mixed. We'll dive into those potential issues in a bit. First, let's talk about the benefits of stacking. What Are the Potential Benefits of Stacking Peptides? So, what are the benefits of stacking peptides? First off, synergistic effects – when peptides work together, they can boost each other's impact, helping with muscle growth and speeding up recovery time. Then, there's the ability to tackle multiple goals at once. Whether you're focusing on fat loss, building muscle, or even improving brain function, stacking peptides lets you work on a few things at the same time. Lastly, customization is a big perk. You can adjust your stack based on your specific needs and make changes as your body adapts, so you're always on track to reach your goals.   What Are Some Risks of Peptide Stacking? Some peptides shouldn't be mixed, as they can cause negative effects or reduce each other's effectiveness. For example, combining GHRP-6 (stimulates growth hormone) with somatostatin (inhibits growth hormone) would be counterproductive. Also, stacking too many peptides affecting the same pathways could overwhelm your system, leading to side effects like insulin resistance or excessive GH levels.  Popular Peptide Stacks While there are countless peptide therapies and hundreds of possible stack combinations that can offer great benefits, I can't cover them all, but let's dive into some of the most common and effective peptide stacks for different goals. Building Lean Muscle Mass: If you're aiming to pack on lean muscle, a great stack to try is CJC-1295 with DAC + Ipamorelin + BPC-157. This combo helps release growth hormone and boosts muscle recovery. But if you really want to take it up a notch, adding MK-677 to the mix is a game-changer. MK-677 is a growth hormone secretagogue that mimics ghrelin, the hunger hormone, which not only increases growth hormone levels but also helps with muscle growth and fat loss. One of the best things about MK-677 is its ability to stimulate appetite, which is perfect for anyone who's training hard but struggles to eat enough calories and protein. If you have a naturally low appetite, MK-677 can make it much easier to consume the fuel you need for muscle growth and recovery. Fat Loss: For fat loss, MOTS-c + Semaglutide is a great stack. MOTS-c helps with fat metabolism, and Semaglutide helps control appetite, making it easier to stick to a calorie-restricted diet for sustainable fat loss. Another effective stack is CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin + Semaglutide. The CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin combo promotes growth hormone release, which supports fat burning and muscle preservation, while Semaglutide helps control hunger, making fat loss a little easier. If belly fat is a particular concern, consider Tesamorelin + Semaglutide. Tesamorelin boosts growth hormone, especially around the abdominal area, reducing visceral fat (that deep belly fat). This stack is great for targeting stubborn belly fat while still promoting overall fat loss. Recovery & Healing: When it comes to recovery, BPC-157 + TB-500 is an incredible combo. BPC-157 is known as the king of healing peptides. It helps speed up tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and regenerate muscles, ligaments, and tendons. TB-500 works alongside it to promote wound healing and cell regeneration, further reducing inflammation and speeding up recovery from injuries. Together, these peptides help you heal faster and get back to your workouts with less downtime. Cognitive Function: If you're looking to boost your brainpower, Cerebrolysin + Semax is a solid stack. Cerebrolysin enhances brain function by promoting neuroplasticity and stimulating growth factors to protect and regenerate brain cells, improving memory and mental clarity. On the other hand, Semax enhances memory, reduces stress, and improves focus by increasing BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor). A great approach is to use Semax daily for consistent cognitive benefits and Cerebrolysin on alternate days for neuroprotection and brain regeneration. This way, you're supporting your brain health and mental performance consistently. Peptide stacking can be an incredibly powerful tool when used correctly, helping you achieve your fitness, recovery, and cognitive goals faster and more efficiently. However, it's vital to understand the potential risks and make sure you're combining peptides that complement each other rather than counteracting each other's effects. Always be mindful of the peptides you're stacking. Thanks for listening to The Peptide Podcast. If you found this episode helpful, be sure to subscribe and leave a review. Dr. Bikman's Metabolic Classroom lecture this week explores peptides and their effects on metabolism, fat loss, muscle growth, and overall health.Ben begins by defining peptides as short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. While some peptides occur naturally, others are synthetically developed for therapeutic purposes. He explains that peptides are gaining popularity in fitness, anti-aging, and metabolic health, influencing fat loss, muscle repair, insulin sensitivity, and even skin regeneration. He also introduces collagen peptides, highlighting their unexpected metabolic benefits, including their influence on GLP-1 and gut microbiome health.Ben then categorizes peptides based on their primary functions. For fat loss, peptides like CJC-1295 and Tesamorelin work by stimulating growth hormone and IGF-1, promoting fat breakdown while preserving muscle mass. Another peptide, Melanotan-2, originally known for increasing melanin, has been found to suppress appetite by affecting the melanocortin system. He also discusses peptides like Ipamorelin, which help enhance muscle recovery and growth by selectively increasing growth hormone secretion without affecting other pituitary hormones. In the anti-aging and skin health category, Thymosin Beta-4 stands out for its ability to enhance wound healing and tissue repair. Dr. Bikman also highlights the unexpected metabolic role of collagen peptides, explaining how they can increase GLP-1 levels, improve insulin sensitivity, and even activate AMPK, a crucial metabolic regulator involved in fat breakdown and cellular repair. Finally, he touches on how peptides are administered—most commonly via subcutaneous injections, though some peptides can be absorbed sublingually or applied topically. He cautions that not all peptides are created equal, warning against low-quality or counterfeit products. Ben emphasizes the need for high-quality sourcing and careful monitoring, as some peptides affect hormone levels and require medical supervision.Dr. Bikman concludes that peptides hold immense potential for metabolic health, fitness, and longevity, but should be used wisely and responsibly.Show Notes/References:For complete show notes and references referred to in this episode, we invite you to become a Ben Bikman Insider subscriber. Tesamorelin Peptide Therapy

The Peptide Podcast

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 16, 2025 5:35

Today, we're diving into an exciting peptide therapy called tesamorelin. You might have heard of it if you're interested in anti-aging treatments.  In this episode, we'll break down exactly what tesamorelin is, how it works in the body, and the potential benefits it can offer. Plus, we'll talk about the possible side effects and risks associated with the therapy, and how it compares to another popular peptide we discussed last week, sermorelin.  What is Tesamorelin? Tesamorelin is a synthetic peptide that acts as a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog. In simple terms, it stimulates the body's natural production of growth hormone (GH) by targeting the pituitary gland, which is responsible for releasing growth hormone.  Unlike direct growth hormone replacement therapy, where you inject synthetic growth hormone into your body, tesamorelin works by prompting your body to produce its own growth hormone naturally. This is often considered a more natural approach to restoring optimal hormone levels. Originally, tesamorelin was approved by the FDA to treat lipodystrophy (abnormal fat distribution) in HIV patients who were experiencing excess abdominal fat. However, its use has since expanded in the realm of anti-aging and fat loss due to its ability to promote fat metabolism, muscle development, and overall vitality. How Does Tesamorelin Work? In essence, tesamorelin taps into your body's natural ability to produce growth hormone, rather than injecting it directly. This is why it's often considered a safer, less invasive alternative to traditional growth hormone therapy. It's typically given once daily via subcutaneous injections (just under the skin). Depending on the health condition being treated, some individuals may need to dose less frequently. What's the Difference Between Tesamorelin and Sermorelin? While both tesamorelin and sermorelin are peptides that stimulate the release of growth hormone, they differ in their structure and the specific ways they interact with the body. Tesamorelin is a modified version of GHRH that specifically targets the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. It's particularly effective in reducing abdominal fat (especially visceral fat) and improving body composition, which makes it popular for individuals seeking fat loss and anti-aging benefits. Sermorelin, on the other hand, is a shorter form of GHRH and has a more general effect on growth hormone secretion. While it also stimulates the pituitary to release growth hormone, it is often used in younger individuals or those seeking overall growth hormone balance and anti-aging benefits rather than specifically targeting fat loss. Potential Benefits of Tesamorelin Therapy Fat Loss and Body Composition: One of the most well-known benefits of tesamorelin is its ability to reduce abdominal fat and improve overall body composition. It is especially effective at targeting visceral fat, the fat stored around internal organs. This can be beneficial for those looking to lose stubborn belly fat, which is linked to several health issues like heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and fatty liver disease. Improved Muscle Mass: Since growth hormone plays a key role in muscle development, tesamorelin can help increase lean muscle mass and improve muscle tone. It's especially helpful for older adults or people recovering from injuries who want to retain or regain muscle strength. Increased Energy Levels: Higher levels of growth hormone can result in improved energy, vitality, and endurance. Many patients report feeling more energized throughout the day, which can improve quality of life and overall activity levels. Better Skin and Hair Health: Tesamorelin's effects on collagen production can contribute to improved skin tone, elasticity, and texture. It may also benefit hair health, making it a popular option for individuals seeking anti-aging benefits beyond just fat loss and muscle gain. Improved Metabolism: Tesamorelin may enhance the body's metabolism, aiding in better fat burning and more efficient use of nutrients, which can be beneficial for weight management. Cognitive Function: Some studies suggest that tesamorelin may have cognitive benefits, including improved memory and mental clarity, likely due to the overall boost in growth hormone levels. Potential Side Effects and Risks As with any therapy, tesamorelin comes with potential side effects and risks. While side effects are generally mild and well-tolerated, they can include: Injection site reactions: Pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site. Headaches: Some people report mild to moderate headaches, especially when first starting the therapy. Joint pain or muscle aches: Increased growth hormone levels can sometimes lead to discomfort in muscles or joints. Fluid retention: Some individuals may notice mild swelling or bloating, particularly in the hands or feet. Long-term use of growth hormone-stimulating therapies like tesamorelin may increase the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome, joint issues, or diabetes in predisposed individuals.  Although rare, there is a concern that stimulating growth hormone production could accelerate the growth of existing cancers, so it's important to have a thorough health evaluation before starting therapy. As always, consulting with a healthcare provider before starting tesamorelin therapy is essential, especially if you have a history of cancer, pituitary gland disorders, or chronic health conditions. Du finner Dean Henry her: https://uaepeptides.com https://www.instagram.com/dean.e.henry/ Vår forrige episode om peptider: https://podcasts.apple.com/no/podcast/biohacking-girls-din-podcast-for-optimal-helse/id1558343232?i=1000561495305

Today we're going to talk about the importance of sleep and different peptide therapy options available to help with sleep.  Before we talk about why sleep is so important, I think it's necessary to go over what happens during sleep. When we're sleeping, we go through several sleep cycles. And, in each of these sleep cycles, you go through different stages of sleep.  There are two main stages of sleep: rapid eye movement (REM) and non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep.  After you fall asleep, your sleep cycles will mostly be NREM sleep. During this time, you'll have three sleep phases: two light and a deep sleep phase.   After you've been asleep for about 6 hours, most of your sleep will be REM sleep. This is the stage when you are dreaming occurs.  So what is the importance of this? Deep sleep and REM sleep help your body in different ways. Deep sleep helps your body heal. Research has shown that muscle growth, tissue repair, and growth hormone release occur during deep sleep. It's also shown that REM sleep is vital for learning new information, brain development, and emotional regulation.  How much sleep do you need? Individual sleeping requirements can vary depending on age, overall health, medications, underlying sleep disorders, and lifestyle. The National Sleep Foundation recommends that adults ages 18 to 60 should get 7 or more hours per night while adults 61 to 64 should get 7 to 9 hours per night. If you're 65 years and older, getting 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night is recommended. Not only is it important to get the correct amount of sleep, but your body also needs quality sleep. But how can you know if you've had good sleep? You can usually define your sleep quality by how you feel the next day.  If you wake up feeling well-rested, energized, and refreshed, it's likely because you've had quality sleep.  What can affect sleep quality? Many things can affect your sleep quality ranging from medical conditions (e.g., chronic pain, anxiety, depression) to the medications you take or just having a stressful day at home or work. But trying to create a sleep-friendly environment by avoiding technology before bed and avoiding caffeine and alcohol before bed may help. What happens if you don't get enough sleep? Let's face it. It's normal to have occasional sleepless nights. Maybe you had a stressful day at work, a sick family member, or one too many cocktails at your friend's party. The next day, you wake up feeling groggy and irritated and unable to concentrate at work. The good news is that this feeling shall pass. But for some people, the physical health problems associated with sleeping problems (lack of sleep for 3 months or longer), increase their risk of depression, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and unintentional weight gain. They can also have decreased immune function and get sick more often. What peptides may help with sleep problems? DSIP (Delta Sleep-Induced Peptide) has been shown to promote delta wave sleep (deep sleep). In studies, disturbed sleep was normalized when injections of DSIP were given. Better performance and increased alertness were seen during awake cycles, along with improved stress tolerance and coping behavior.   Selank is typically used as an "anti-anxiety" peptide. It does this by enhancing the effects of GABA, thus reducing anxiety. But it also increases serotonin levels. Serotonin influences our appetite and mood and regulates our sleep-wake cycle. Low serotonin levels can lead to depression and insomnia. Therefore, if you take Selank and increase your serotonin levels, you may improve your sleep balance. As we get older, growth hormone secretion decreases. As a result, it's common for aging people to experience a decline in strength and energy as well as other age-related changes like increased body fat, decreased lean muscle mass, loss of skin elasticity, and poor sleep. Growth hormone-releasing hormones (or GHRHs) like CJC 1295 and Tesamorelin and growth hormone-releasing peptides (GHRPs) like Ipamorelin promote the increase in growth hormone and enhance sleep quality. Thanks again for listening to The Peptide Podcast; we love having you as part of our community. If you love this podcast, please share it with your friends and family on social media, and have a happy, healthy week! In this Interview, Jean-Francois Tremblay, owner of CanLab and I dig in to one of the new darlings of the peptide world - Tesamorelin and a less known but possibly just as effective other option - Setmelanotide - an offshoot of the better known Melantonan 2. We also cover AOD 9604, FRAG 17691 and CJC1295 ...and why you probably want to avoid the version with DAC (drug affinity complex)... We start with a chat about how if you're after lasting results there's really no way to avoid optimizing your diet, moving more, optimizing sleep etc... but these peptides might just help to speed things along and ease some of the bumps along the way. Please note that this content is intended for information purposes only and is not intended to substitute professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Peptides are for the most part classified as research chemicals so should not be used on humans. Before changing your diet or using any new supplement make sure to consult with your health care provider. Always seek the advice of your physician or health care provider with any questions or concerns you may have regarding a medical condition before you make any changes. Show Notes: Keto Calorie Peptides Help with Fat Loss Body Recomposition Growth Hormone unregulated by Fat Loss peptides like FRAG 17691 or AOD9604 (just one amino acid difference) help to mobilize fatty acids in the fat cell – but need to be in calorie/energy deficit for it to stay out Consistency and sticking to your plan is the ultimate secret sauce…   Why Canlab combines Frag and AOD 9604 More about Frag and AOD….are they the same or different? AOD lacks one tyrosine…means that it lasts longer…whereas Frag uses more up front and gets metabolized faster….. Tesamorelin…..what it does…. The skinny on Tesamorelin….it’s not about Tesa it’s about the growth hormone release…. Re Muscle Gains attributed to Peptides….in studies re old people it’s about bringing back muscle you once had…. Hormone replacement therapy is at the foundation of reclaiming muscle mass GH good for muscle sustaining (vs growth) and tissue repair (but doesn’t hold a candle to BPC and TB4) Tesamorelin – origins – where it came from originally….very close to CJC 1295 (Mod IGRF 121 is actually CJC 1295 without dac). and other Growth Hormone Secretagogues. The difference between Tesa and CJC not really all that great….why some people may be promoting Tesa over CJC 1295 the magic is in the dose. Difference about with Dac and without Dac. With Dac too many peaks of growth hormone (similar to MK 677….increases risk of insulin resistance…..why is the Dac long lasting…binds to albumin in the blood ….which is problematic as there may have been relationship to blood cancer seen in certain studies….so better to use without DAC…just use multiple times a day if necessary  Post workout (3) is a good time…but pre bed(1), pre workout and first thing in the morning (2) are all better    Setmelanotide – another derivative of alpha MSH (Melanotan, melanotan 2, PT141) Basically prioritizes appetite suppression over tanning and sexual enhancement..they all create a tan just to varying degrees…. SM get appetite curbing (some sexual stim)…increases metabolic rate by about 6%, without increasing HR or BP…. On average can expect about 1 lb a week fat loss…. Many reports of people using it with good results – safe track record…..Clinical studies went for 12 months   Do not start at full dose of 1.5mg a day….start at .5 1-2 days then 1.0mg for a couple of days and then increase to full dose to avoid possible /nausea In studies – they changed nothing else….and saw results but it’s likely that as people lost weight they may have started to move more etc… At this point best method for most peptides is SubQ over oral….Intranasal may work but need to use higher dose (aka PT141 1 mg is SubQ and 2mg is IntraNasal)   Tesofensine – not a peptide acts on dopamine and AC receptors in the brain so needs to be used with great caution Please note that this video is intended for information purposes only and is not intended to substitute professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Peptides are for the most part classified as research chemicals so should not be used on humans. Before changing your diet or using any new supplement make sure to consult with your care provider. Peptides are a grouping of 50 or fewer amino acids (more than 50 is a protein). Peptides are natural substances, though those covered in the show are variations on the naturally occurring versions. They can be beneficial in many ways, often amplifying the body’s ability to heal itself. They discuss the history of the use of peptides in a medical environment, as well as the future of peptides becoming available commercially in the U.S., with over 7,000 in clinical development currently. Cancer research is one of the leading development areas for peptides (ALRN-6924 is one of the prominent ones studied). Antimicrobial research is also being done to potentially create new antibiotics. There are different methods of delivering peptides to the body. They are not very bioavailable orally and are prone to hydrolysis, so injection is the best for the majority of peptides. They explore some of the benefits of peptides over traditional medications, such as allergic reaction is limited with peptides, and neither the kidneys nor liver have to process them like traditional medications require. They also consider the potential side effects of using peptides. They warn against purchasing peptides from online companies, as many of them are produced overseas in bulk without any regulation, often not containing what they claim. The only safe way to get access to peptides is through a reputable doctor who practices integrative medicine, with access to compounding pharmacies like Tailor Made Compounding. Some of the peptides covered on the show: Human growth hormone (HGH) secretagogues like Ipamorelin, CJC-1295, Sermorelin and Tesamorelin encourage the pituitary gland to increase HGH production. They also explain the significant risks of using human growth hormone therapy directly. GLP-1 and Semaglutide could be used for diabetes treatment. Melanotan 2 stimulates melanocytes to produce melanin, causing a tanned appearance of the skin. Epitalon resets the HPA (hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal) axis, with a number of potential positive effects on disease states, possibly helping to lengthen or preserve the length of telomeres, increases melatonin for better sleep and more.  BPC-157 is orally bioavailable, unlike most peptides, with a variety of reported benefits. This includes helping with neural inflammation, muscle improvement, improved immunity, improved collagen synthesis, increased bone density and accelerated recovery/healing. It is most often used clinically to treat gut and bowel issues and tendon and ligament repair. Thymosin beta-4 is beneficial for soft tissue injury by increasing blood flow to the area, encouraging healing. Thymosin alpha 1 is FDA approved (commercially available as ZADAXIN™ for treatment of viral hepatitis), encouraging increased immune response to some cancers, Lyme disease and sexually transmitted diseases. PT-141 has a benefit for treating some erectile dysfunction and female sexual dysfunction. Follistatin (actually a protein, not a peptide) has the potential to inhibit myostatin, which prevents muscle breakdown. Cerebrolysin is a combination of peptides with potential useful for brain repair in neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and strokes. Selank and Semax are Russian peptides that are nasally bioavailable that have been reported to help with anxiety. MIF-1, ACTH, Dihexa have limited research but have been considered to help with depression, bipolar disorder and PTSD. IGF1 has nerve regenerative capabilities. GDF11 may be beneficial in tissue repair, so useful in anti-aging, but with potential health drawbacks. About the guest: Ryan Smith attended Transylvania University and double majored in Philosophy and Biochemistry. In that time, he had multiple research internships at the University of Kentucky and University of Pennsylvania, studying large scale protein synthesis and physical chemistry. After graduation, he attended medical school at the University of Kentucky for 2 years.   After finishing all the educational curriculum and passing USMLE Step 1, he decided to leave and help open up a pharmacy in the United States that focuses on peptide synthesis and formulations for pharmaceutical preparations. Since that time, Tailor Made Compoundinghas become licensed in over 45 states and territories, including Dubai, and has become the leader in the compounding of peptides and proteins for pharmaceutical use.  Follow Tailor Made Compounding on Facebook @TailorMadeCompounding  and Twitter @TMCompounding.

People’s hormones are a far cry from what they were 25 years ago. What are some of the factors causing this? How can we apply hormone therapy to help men and women gain confidence, and manage their weight and energy? What are the best peptides for men and women? On this episode, I talk to one of the biggest pioneers in the hormone optimization space, Dr. Uzzi Reiss. Estrogen is the beginning of the symphony. -Dr. Uzzi Reiss   Three Takeaways A lot of people on treatment don’t feel good because they aren’t getting enough hormones in the first place. Estrogen suppresses the breast cancer stem cell, while chemo and radiation increase breast cancer stem cell occurrence. To lose weight, your body needs energy. In menopause, women have less which makes it more likely that they’ll gain weight. Tesamorelin is very effective at breaking intra-abdominal fat   At the start of the show, we talked about how estrogen suppresses the breast cancer stem cell, and why menopausal women tend to gain weight. Next, we talked about how to control weight gain, and how to help men maintain a healthy level of testosterone. We also discussed: The use of peptides How society’s hormone levels have changed over the last 25 years Why all the hormones in our bodies are important   Most physicians know nothing about hormones outside of what pharmaceutical reps tell them. This leads to people not being treated sufficiently, creating more problems. We’re in a state where both men’s and women’s hormones have dramatically changed in the last 25 years and this is where intervention comes in. When people correctly manage their hormones, it can have profound effects mentally and physically. It can also alleviate feelings of regression, which can also boost self-esteem. All these things make for a happier and healthier society. Guest Bio- Dr. Uzzi Reiss is an American private practice gynecologist offering anti-aging medicine services. His California-based practice is The Beverly Hills Anti-Aging Center for Men and Women & Advanced Nutrition and Hormone-Based Gynecology.

The Strategic Use of Pregnenolone, Aromatase Inhibitors & Tesamorelin with Testosterone w/Dr. Rob Kominiarek

We spend very little time on male reproductive health, and a lot of men are in dire need of it. What are some of the factors that physicians should be tracking? How are the side effects of short term memory loss and anxiety on testosterone mitigated? What is the first thing that needs to be done in the case of a patient suffering from a metabolic emergency? On this episode, we are joined by author and physician, Dr. Rob Kominiarek to discuss insights in testosterone and health. You have to use Aromatase Inhibitors very strategically to solve issues. -Dr. Rob Kominiarek Takeaways Complications from fractures of the spine kill more people than heart attacks, strokes, and cancers combined. The doctors that put you on an Aromatase Inhibitor straight out of the gate don’t know what they’re doing. Insulin and growth hormone compete for the same receptors and insulin. At the start of the show we talked about why there’s no one-size fits all approach to optimization, and how to deal with patients who experience anxiety and panic attacks. Next, we talked about what so many doctors get wrong when it comes to Aromatase Inhibitors and why men need estrogen.    We also discussed: How to get insulin levels in check with testosterone The importance of doing Dexa Scans Why almost every diabetic medication is a peptide   There is no single recipe for testosterone optimization. An individualized approach has to be taken. That’s why it’s critical for a patient to get labs to determine what they need. Some physicians put patients on Aromatase Inhibitors right away, and this is a mistake. A lot of the side effects and problems we see on testosterone can be solved by adjusting dosage, not bringing AIs into the mix.   Guest Bio- Dr. Rob is a bestselling author and physician with an expertise in Interventional Age Management Medicine and BioIdentical Hormone Optimization. Interventional Medicine focuses on optimizing your health and enhancing your quality of life while simultaneously reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer, bone fractures, dementia, and other disorders of aging.
