It's 2023 and this year is already bringing fist fights and problems for the host of the Q, but sometimes in moments of pity, great things happen too! Justin Deming has been handling life in the Northeast for a few years now and with some family things to handle, he makes a trip back to the midwest and his home town when he gets a chance. Out the Blue Justin decided to show up for the Q and we couldn't be happier to welcome him back for the show. First up it seems the crazy over the top aspect of republicans is starting to become more noticeable. In Missouri they made sure that the female also wore suit jackets like the MEN, because they need their women to represent being more manly in the state government. Well it's not only here, but in Florida Ron Desantis is creating all kinds of issues with CRT and Trans discussions and all of it...why? Well we really don't know but the men discuss these and a few other states attacking really marginal and weird things. Next up is the 2nd round of the TOPC: Best One Hit Wonder. In the last round many great candidates put their name in the ring but only one can out on top. This time around Just A Friend, Cotton Eye Joe and few others throw their name in the ring to find out what is the best one hit wonder according to the QNow and if you don't like what you see, you can play along at home. And finally Mark once again had issues at MMWA but they decided to offer Mark a opportunity he could not pass up. Commissionership of the MMWA. Anthony Castaldi the head of the organization challeneged Mark to take on Shaft for control of the right hand of power. With it Mark and the Kings of Revolution can position themselves better for control and moves within the organization. So everything seems to be on the line for their upcoming Feb 11th match. But Mark and the boys discuss all of it!

You know it's time - if not, "You Oughta Know." In your heart, you know "It's Too Late." When you think about it, you know that "You Lost That Lovin' Feelin'." But, as the classic tune says "Neither one of us ... wants to be the first to say goodbye." Guesses on this week's Overlap Podcast topic? If you can't figure it out, then "We Are Never Getting Back Together" and we'll have to contend with finding "Someone Like You." Our boys Sid and Keith agree that "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do," but while a romantic relationship gone wrong can be regrettable, what can you do when the honeymoon is over with your work spouse - because sadly singing "I Will Always Love You" (Dolly version, of course) at them as you pack up your belongings to leave the Chicken Ranch ain't gonna fly here (much like the chickens). To help you help that soon to be ex-employee better find the "End of the Road," our boys find a way to help you let them down easily, without disrupting your remaining team members ... and just so we're clear - it's not you, it's them. Avoid playing the "Blame Game" and find a way to be resolved and "Walk On By" - you know you have to listen to the episode's to get the real tips #TeamNoSpoilers This week's Overlap Podcast might not be able to "Un-break (Your) Heart" due to your labor loss, but with our help you can "Go Your Own Way" and like Queen of Disco Gloria Gaynor ... you will survive. And while you may look back at that former employee and think "Nothing Compares 2 U," trust us when we say you will eventually come to "Believe" that they were far better to be in your life as "Just A Friend."
The unique vocal delivery and hilarious lyrics of Biz Markie's single "Just A Friend" launched the song into the Top 10 of the Billboard charts in 1990. Since then, the infectious chorus has remained lodged in the public consciousness, even after his untimely passing in July of 2021. In this episode, Chris and Chris take a deep dive into the song that no one should feel shy to sing along to. Hey y'all. I'm excited to present to you the main episode under the theme Relationship II. In this episode I talk about one of the most painful emotion to feel in a relationship, which is rejection. Specifically, I talk about unrequited love, the various levels of unrequited love and how to navigate them. I draw inspiration from the experience of Jamie Grace Collins in her song Just A Friend and I sprinkled it with my very own experience. This episode might be my favorited episode yet because of how relatable the song is and I know you will love it. I talk a little bit about GMA Doves Awards 2021 on the Epic News segment. Also, please forgive the background noises. I promise to improve on the sound as time goes on. Happy Listening!

It was a home run for the crew at Store 2419 in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, as our Associate Caller of the Day, Connie, called to let us know her crew is motivated and knocking out freight left and right. Associate Rogelio from Store 4405 in Aurora, Illinois, couldn't believe he was on the phone with DJ Antonio and gave a shoutout to his store. Proving he's more than just a DJ, Antonio paid tribute to Biz Markie by singing one of his greatest songs, “Just A Friend,” acapella style. ‘Hype girl' Teena from Store 1641 in Williamston, North Carolina, called to pump up the 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts and everyone who is out there working. We loved the energy, Teena. Pat from Store 5211 in McKinney, Texas, gave a shoutout to Overnight Coach Will and Overnight Team Lead Toma. The entire team at Store 485 in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, received a shoutout from Store Manager Jennifer. Our Social Media Highlight of the Day included a post from Club 8174 in Merrillville, Indiana, as Brenda reached 23 years accident-free. Congratulations, Brenda, on being the Safety Associate of the Month. Did you know that the most expensive pizza in the world is $12,000? Tune in to find out just what makes this pizza so supreme.

So I was talking to a married person I know (SN: THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU! WHOEVER YOU ARE!) and they said they don't want their spouse to hang around single people. To them it didn't make sense because they are "living two different lifestyles". That was the dumbest shit I ever heard! So I must address it on K-100. First of all, a married person has to interact with single people in all aspect of life anyway. From work to family they will inevitably be around single people in a social capacity so the friends are going to come. To add to that, if you are a cheater you just are, no one else can influence you to cheat if you really don't want to. This is like saying rap music makes you act a certain way, and we all know where I stand on that issue! So let me get to the point right quick: DO YOU THINK MARRIED PEOPLE SHOULD HANG OUT WITH SINGLE PEOPLE, AND WHY OR WHY NOT? If you are okay with it, would you trust them any less when they are out with their single friends? Of course we are not talking bout the opposite sex, we already had the JUST A FRIEND episode. That's a NEGATIVE! But we are talking about friends of the SAME SEX. Is there certain places that you feel a married person should not go in the first place? What if your spouse single friends was all going out of town together...lets say ON A CRUISE...would you let him/her go with a group of people of the same sex if a few of them was single? Once again, is this a TRUST ISSUE? Because as I have stated numerous times, if they gone do something wrong they gonna do it and who they are around wont matter. If you are single, do you like to hang around married people? Do they seem a little less fun when you go somewhere like the club with them? If your spouse has a single friend that you KNOW is a HO...does that make a difference? If you are single and your married friend does cheat, would you cover for them? Hmmm....
