Playlist;LAS MOSQUITAS “Tembleque”LAS MOSQUITAS “Hacelo conmigo”LAS MOSQUITAS “Do Re Mi”LAS MOSQUITAS “Simplemente no”LAS MOSQUITAS “A tu vera”LAS MOSQUITAS “En esta noche”LAS MOSQUITAS “Cuanto más lejos estoy”MESSER CHUPS “Model”THE SATAN’S PILGRIMS “32 miles to Avalon”LOST ACAPULCO “Phantom tide”JD McPHERSON feat BLOODSHOT BILL “I can’t go anywhere with you”BLOODSHOT BILL “Torpedo”BLOODSHOT BILL and TELEVISIONARIES “Sha La Ba”TELEVISIONARIES “Quarter after 8”CACTUS BLOSSOMS “There she goes”THE SPUNYBOYS “Dang me”ANNIE DOLAN and JOEL PATERSON “Cry me a river”THE DESLONDES “Lies I’ve told” Escuchar audio
LA Witch... great tunes, inspired another award approaching show by us... we played some songs by this LA 'garage' band that made a name for themselves in the clubs and have quite the dedicated following. Once we got started it spun off into a "hey, this other band has a similar sound... dontcha think?"... and it went off into the silly fun chatty stuff we do so well ... like 2 sugared up kids at the park. Other bands we played tonight: Yannis & the Yaw, Nirvana, Mazzy Star, the Misfits, Surfin Dead Boys, Messer Chups, Death Valley Girls, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Warm Drag and the Cramps... and likely others. Some new friends and old friends chime in to this Award Winning Show (hey, "participation ribbon" is an award) presented by idiots (me & Eric) and enjoyed by thousands. We had a bundle of fun - hope you do to listening to two buddies mince words and play tunes. You can be part of our Super Secret Schitty Committee - next time we are on - call in and say "Pour Me Another Brother" for fun and prizes. This underwear isn't getting any newer. (that's an inside joke? "yeah, in your PANTS") - what are we ... eight?

Halloween isn't just about collecting candy and cringy Wednesday costumes. Music plays a big part of the spooky season. Whether it's awesome horror film soundtracks or horror related guitar rock n roll, music provides the perfect atmosphere sounds for your October. But over the years we've noticed some people's idea of "Halloween" music doesn't quite cut a drunken teenager at Summer camp. So this week we compiled some songs that are debatable and we our "Yay" or "Nay". In our "News, Views and Tunes", we're off and running with our annual October Horror Movie Challenge and address the Taylor Swift charity guitar incident. Musically, we crank some Municipal Waste, Hallows Eve, Piledriver, Slasher Dave, Subhumans, Messer Chups and introduce Pythonic in our "Indie Spotlight". Horns Up and Happy Halloween!!

Our series on those amazing albums celebrating their 40th anniversary continues. Legendary hardcore/punks Black Flag had a productive '84, releasing three full lengthers. Probably the most renowned is "Slip It In". So we tapped this classic album for a deep dive. We go track by track and share as much info and opinions as possible. Particularly, "the bars" and tattoos. We learn that one of our cohosts REALLY knows a lot about Henry Rollins. Slip this one on and give it a listen. In our "News, Views and Tunes", we pay tribute to Radioactive Metal alum Jack Russell and shout out Midnight for their recent honour. Musically, we crank some Black Flag, Midnight, Tygers Of Pan Tang, Mortician, Pirate Queen, Messer Chups, and SOA. Horns up!!

We get into some of the more spiritual themes of the film. We sincerepost and share our thoughts on spirituality more generally. This leads to a discussion of family ghost stories, and we each share one. Songs: La Llorona by Gaby Moreno Ghost Party by Messer Chups

Escuchalo o bajalo de acá: http://bit.ly/perdidos478 Próximo programa: The Legend of Vox Machina / Kid Cosmic.
