Carlos from the newsroom comes in to talk about his fedora and also to explain why yesterday's sports minute ran this morning instead of the correct one. Seems like it's Fleigelman's fault. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Knicks loss in Orlando. Julius Randle got a technical, then got into it with Immanuel Quickley. The Nets lost to the Cavs in Brooklyn. Gonzaga beat UCLA, Kansas State beat Michigan State using somewhat of a trick play. Pete Alonso talked about playing in the WBC and how it really got him ready for the regular season. Phillies' Rhys Hoskins tore his ACL. Tom Brady is now part owner of the Vegas Aces of the WNBA. In the final segment of the hour, the NFL sent out a memo to teams to tell them to only negotiate with Lamar Jackson. Boomer has said over and over again he needs a legitimate agent to represent him. The Panthers seem to be leaning toward CJ Stroud as being the number one pick in the draft.

And after the game, Tom Thibodeau doesn't criticize him for it. Randle cannot control his emotions on the court. Jerry is here for his first update and starts with a tough Nets loss to the Cavs in Brooklyn. The Knicks lost to the Magic in Orlando and Jerry has audio from Tom Thibodeau. Last night in the NCAA tournament, Gonzaga moved on after beating UCLA. Head Coach Mick Cronin was not happy with having to wait to do his postgame press conference. The Florida Atlantic Owls win and are headed to the Elite 8. The Rangers beat Carolina 2-1. Florida Atlantic won again and are now in the Elite 8. And the Rangers beat the Hurricanes. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the top 5 MLB franchises as far as club value. We also did top 5 profits for MLB teams and a few others. WE also talked about Twitter and Gio isn't seeing much of a change since Elon took over, other than the ‘For You' tab which he doesn't like. He wonders if he could give it up.  Hour 4: We talked about Las Vegas and the Stadium Swim at Circa. We also talked about Tom Brady's Ralph Waldo Emerson quote on social media after the release of the Gisele Vanity Fair piece. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and says the Le Batard show was mocking Willis Reed. Jerry's not sure if he saw that correctly and Gio thinks it was a bit. Satire if you will. The Nets lost to the Cavs and the Knicks lost in Orlando. Bunch of losers last night. The NCAA tournament resumed and Gonzaga beat UCLA. In the final segment of the show, we talked about Dr. Paul Saladino, the carnivore diet guy, going around to NYC steakhouses. He also drinks raw milk, which is outlawed in some states.

Welcome to another world famous Jeff Does Vegas Trip Report chronicling my most recent trip to Vegas - my first of 2020 - from January 11-14. This time around I've got a brief review of my stay at The Flamingo plus my experience of trying to add a night to my original booking at the Linq.  I've also got quick reviews of the restaurants I hit up this time around including Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar at the Linq, Ri-Ra Irish Pub at Mandalay Bay, Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood and Evel Pie downtown. Also on this trip, I visited The Mob Museum, hung out at Downtown Container Park with MJ & Bree from the Keeping It Casual Podcast (watch for them to appear in an upcoming episode of the podcast) and learned how to play Craps in a YouTube Live Stream with past guest & friend Heather Ferris from Vegas Aces. I also got to experience my very first Vegas Jackpot/Handpay Slot Win on this trip...and got the experience the fun of having the government take 30% of the win .

I have a confession to make: I'm approaching my 27th trip to Las Vegas in the last 5 years and in all of that time, not once have I ever played a table game.  I've never played a hand of Blackjack or Poker, I've never tossed the dice in a game of Craps and I've never placed a bet at a Roulette table. Why is that?  There's a few reasons - some of which include anxiety, intimidation, a past negative experience with a "casino troll" and the fact that I simply don't know how to play a lot of the table games.  To help me out with these issues, I decided to talk to an expert and bring her on the show!
