Adam Howard is the winner of four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Special Visual Effects and has been nominated a total of nine times for his VFX work on multiple Star Trek series. He originally trained in his home town of Melbourne Australia as a graphic designer, illustrator and animator, using very traditional artist tools. His passion for visual effects in film and television led him to be one of the first digital artists on the planet creating groundbreaking digital effects and animation for ABC-TV Melbourne and AAV Studios. Karina Dandashi is a Syrian-American Muslim filmmaker born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Her work has been featured in numerous Oscar-Qualifying festivals around the U.S. and programs at The Museum of Modern Art and The American Cinematheque. Imani Davis is a writer, producer, and a film programmer at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles. A recent LA transplant from Chicago, she is deeply committed to elevating women directors, as well as providing opportunities for emerging talent to break into the film industry. At the American Cinematheque, a 501c3 nonprofit boasting over 1,500 film screenings a year, Imani curates, plans, and executes unique and engaging film events. Stu Krieger is a Professor of screen and television writing in the University of California, Riverside's Department of Theatre, Film & Digital Production and in the Creative Writing for the Performing Arts MFA Program at UCR. He also teaches one class per year at the USC Peter Stark MFA Producing Program. Krieger co-wrote the Emmy award winning mini-series A Year in the Life and was nominated for a Humanites Prize for the Disney Channel original movie, Going to the Mat. Among his more than 25 produced credits, Krieger wrote the animated classic The Land Before Time for producers Steven Spielberg & George Lucas and ten original movies for the Disney Channel, including Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century and its two sequels, Tru Confessions, Smart House, Phantom of the Megaplex, and Cow Belles. He has been a story editor and writer on Spielberg's Amazing Stories and the supervising producer on the ABC Television series Jack's Place. He served as the head writer and story editor of the animated preschool series Toot & Puddle on Nickelodeon in 2008-2009. His first full-length play, Chasing Smoke debuted in a staged reading at the Garry Marshall Theatre in 2014. He was an executive producer on the feature films The Binding (2016) and My Name is Myeisha (2019) both feature directed by his son, Gus Krieger. Krieger's first novel That One Cigarette was published by Harvard Square Editions in 2017. Jon has been in the media and video production industry for over 25 years. Working on countless movies and television shows, he devoted his time to learning every role on a film set. Working his way up from a humble PA, Gaffer to Grip, DP to Director, Jon even worked as a stunt driver and coordinator for television. Jon developed a reputation as the on-set MacGyver, creating new ways to film things, mount gear and problem-solve. He has actually designed and created film equipment used in the industry today.With a passion to tell stories, he loves the adventure and exploration side of video. He has traveled all around the globe filming in so many countries, his passport was so ragged, the customs officials questioned its authenticity.
