Scott McCloud is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He has been a founding member of Girls Against Boys, New Wet Kojak and Soulside. He continues to tour extensively, performs acoustically, and operates in various projects including Agrio and Paramount Styles. In this episode, Scott shares a story where a simple misunderstanding of gratitude leads to a confusing, riotous, and even violent reaction from the crowd when his band Operator opened for Placebo in Lisbon. Joe and Scott discuss what this good intention turned bad tells us about humans in large groups, selective communication, crowd tipping points and why Scott still thinks about this show today. Is the sum greater than (or ever equal to) the parts? In this case, Fake Names is the sum and the parts are Refused, Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, Embrace, One Last Wish, Soulside, Girls Against Boys and Fugazi. It's a tall order to be sure and the supergroup pulls from some varied influences, some more expected than others. How close do they get to their lineage. We discuss (without surprisingly little debate). Sarah interrupts Madame Nancy in the middle of a seance, but hey, no better time for a podcast. After a brief discussion of their top five liquids (inspired by a recent interview with Malcolm Gladwell), they turn toward a 4000-word New York Times story about how Russian trolls might have influenced the implosion of the Women's March. Nancy thinks the story whitewashes the leaders' excesses and prejudices, particularly the anti-semitism of Linda Sarsour. Sarah finds the prospect of outside forces stoking civic discord legitimately worrisome, but both agree the Women's March fell apart because of in-fighting over ideology, money, and mismanagement. We turn toward a story in the Atlantic that argues against sex segregation in sports, making some head-scratching assertions about girls' ability to compete with boys. Sarah thinks it's yet another failure to balance equal opportunity with biological difference, while Nancy points out that even Serena Williams admitted to David Letterman she'd lose every game to tennis champ Andy Murray since men were faster and stronger — none of which makes women inherently inferior, since women have other assets. Have we mentioned we love breasts? In the hot box this week: Crying in H Mart, a memoir that explores a complicated mother-daughter relationship and how food connects us, and Michael Moynihan chatting with Andy Warhol's right-hand man, Bob Colacello. The rock and roll Scott McCloud grew up with in the 80's was a fantasy of glitz and glam far beyond the most ambitious of his dreams, until he heard punk rock in DC, and it all seemed very possible. Inevitable, even. His bands Soulside in DC and then Girls Against Boys out of NY were both highly influential heavy-weights. Between those bands, New Wet Kojak and Paramount Styles, this man has made over 20 full lenth records, influenced thousands, lived all over the world, with his stylishly tortured vocal delivery being his most enduring trademark. Now living in Vienna with a young family, he's prepping for tour in October in support of the reissue of House of GvB.
Shiner sprouted from the fertile, black-dirt underground rock scene of the Midwest. Cofounded by guitarist/vocalist Allen Epley in 1992, the band toured with contemporaries Sunny Day Real Estate, Chore, Jawbox, Season to Risk, the Jesus Lizard, and Girls Against Boys, recorded with Shellac's Steve Albini, and released four albums between 1996 and 2001. Injections of new blood for 1997's Lula Divina (bassist Paul Malinowski) and 2000's Starless (Josh Newton on keyboards/guitars and Jason Gerken on drums) helped carve fresh ground and broaden their sound. Shiner's sweet spot lives among the smoldering soundscapes that brood, blossom, and bolster their cannonball core. The Egg, from 2001, was a crowning achievement—the early career apex of the band's evolution from noisy dissonance and powder-keg rock to mosaic, prog-like orchestrations that were equally brutal and beautiful. And after nearly two years of touring behind The Egg, the quartet split up in 2003. Over the next 15 years, Shiner reunited for special one-off appearances and very short tours. And with the help of the internet and streaming services, their low-key, dormant profile was elevated. Finally, in 2020, Shiner came back to the table with Schadenfreude–a shockingly logical evolution from and continuation of The Egg's sonic flavor. The album has the lyrical earworms, head-nodding rhythms, gut-punch oomph, and palette-cleansing space travel you'd expect from a band that said goodbye with the jewel “https://youtu.be/ylmv_aG_VhM (The Simple Truth).” Ahead of Shiner's show at Nashville's DIY arts collective, Drkmttr, PG hopped onstage to dissect the current setups of Epley and Malinowski. Epley details how a lunch-break pawnshop visit landed a remarkable Hohner T for under $100. Malinowski reveals the unique tuning (and demonstrates the monkey-grip it requires to play) that allows his setup to charge like a rhino. And both walk us through their practical-but-powerful pedalboards. (Unfortunately, renowned gearhead, resident of Pudgemont County, and a regular at the Chug Suckle, Josh Newton, was not on this run as he was tech'ing for Kings of Leon. Spotlights' Mario Quintero played the role of Newton for this batch of shows, and we featured his setup—along with wife/Spotlights bassist Sarah Quintero's rig—back in 2021.) WOW. We are BACK. This time, we speak with Scott McCloud of Girls Against Boys, Soulside & New Wet Kojak about The Replacements. This was such a fun conversation and we're so grateful to Scott for talking with us. We hope you enjoy!
Check out my conversation with record producer, Ted Niceley. Ted takes me throw his life and career including playing bass in the Tommy Keene group and recording such brilliant records as Fugazi's "Repeater," Shudder to Think's, "Pony Express Record" and much more. Fun chat!
Enjoy!

Listen in as Johnny talks about his plan to "reverse gentrify" the publishing world and give voice to the underrepresented. If you're looking to do some disrupting of your own, Johnny is a true inspiration. Every week, DISRUPTOR celebrates the rebels, mavericks and weirdos of the publishing world, and encourages you to disrupt in your own way. Subscribe now! Refer to the original recording for most accurate info How did an acclaimed punk rock musician start one of the most innovative and talked about small presses on the planet and how did he manage to take a book whose title can't even be said on television and turn it into one of the biggest runaway bestsellers in years? You're about to find out. Greetings one and all. I'm Jon Bard and this is DISRUPTOR, episode 1, featuring Johnny Temple of Akashic Books. I've been in the publishing world for close to 30 years and I've seen a lot of things change, but maybe they haven't changed fast enough. And so I asked the question, are there disruptors out there? Are there people and companies that are really changing things in publishing, pushing us into the future, throwing out the old rule book and creating a new one all their own? I went in search of that and I've found them. And every week here on DISRUPTOR, you'll meet them. Welcome to the journey. It's time to disrupt. Today's episode of DISRUPTOR is brought to you by Writing Blueprints, the breakthrough step by step system for writers that creates truly great books. To learn more about the most disruptive way ever to become a successful author, visit writingblueprints.com and use the code DISRUPT to save 10 percent off everything on the site. The writing world has been shaken. Meet the earthquake. Writing Blueprints. This is how you write a book. Johnny Temple had already conquered the world of punk rock, with his acclaimed band Girls Against Boys, when he turned his attention to publishing. He founded Akashic Books in 1997, seeking to redefine how a small press chooses its titles, promotes its authors, and serves its readers. Akashic's author roster reads like a who's who in cool featuring among others, Dennis Cooper, Ron Kovich, Melvin van Peebles, Lydia Lunch, Richard Hell, Lawrence Block, and Elizabeth Nunez. Temples' punk DIY ethos has led to a catalog of wildly eclectic, always fascinating works, presenting viewpoints often unheard elsewhere. In 2011, Johnny published a racy children's book parody, not because he thought it would sell, but because it made them laugh. Within months, Go the F**K To Sleep was number one on Amazon. Proof that a little disruption can sometimes yield a huge payoff. I spoke to Johnny from Akashic's headquarters, a converted can factory in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. JON: Well, thank you Johnny Temple for joining us on DISRUPTOR. It's an honor. I'm a fan and I've been a fan for awhile of your music and your publishing. Let me begin by asking you the question we always like to ask here on DISRUPTOR. We are here to celebrate the rebels, the mavericks, and the weirdos of the publishing world. Which one of those words best fits you and why? JOHNNY: Weirdo, Weirdo disguised as a rebel. I just, I've always felt very weird, very strange, very odd ball. And I mean, I think that most people are weirdos, you know?
New York City has been a global epicenter for music and culture in general for decades, so it is no surprise that the the 1990s are no different. From the legendary Velvet Underground, KISS and Blondie, to indie rock progenitors Sonic Youth, Talking Heads and Television, to the punk of the New York Dolls, Ramones and The Dictators, as well as the hip-hop, disco, electronic and dance scenes, the 1990s combined it all into a stew of unique sounds interpolated by artists such as the Beastie Boys, Living Colour, White Zombie, Girls Against Boys, Helmet, Biohazard, and more. Like every scene we've dug into, finding the venues, the media, the record stores, recording studios and labels that fostered the sound for the band, New York City has its own spin. How do you get gear to shows in a city most travel by subway? How do you get your band noticed in a sea of competition? How do you not get robbed and randomly punched in the face on the street? To help us unpack it all, we're joined by Eli Janney of Girls Against Boys and The 8G Band from Late Night with Seth Meyers, Mike Lustig of Ruth Ruth, and Mike Stuto from Brownies and Beggars Banquet Records. This week we get to chat with Eli Janney, who you may know as the keyboardist, bassist and backing vocals in Girls Against Boys. You may also know him as the producer for such bands as Brainiac, Ryan Adams, Skeleton Key, Jesse Maiin and many more. You may also know him as the man who remixed tracks by artists such as the Sneaker Pimps, Ruby, Hooverphonic, Enon and more. You may also know him as the current keyboardist and associate music director in the 8G Band on Late Night with Seth Meyers. What we’re saying is, Eli is a busy guy, because that doesn’t even include his music engineering and mixing credits, as well as his other work in television and film. We talk to about how he ended up in the world of late night television all the way back to his time working at the legendary Inner Ear recording studio with Don Zientara that documented so much of the ‘80s DC punk and hardcore scene. We learn how GVSB formed, the trials of a touring with a keyboard in 1992, and what it means to be in a band with a distinct and recognizable “sound” and how that both focuses and restricts creativity. All this and much, much more. As The Pretenders once sang, we’re going back to Ohio to check out Dayton’s legendary Brainiac thanks to the winner of our 2016 year-end Patreon giveaway. In just five years, the band put out a significant body of work, including three full-length albums, half a dozen 7″s and a pair of EPs. We’re checking out their third and final album Hissing Prigs in Static Couture, released on Touch & Go Records in 1996, recorded with Eli Janney of Girls Against Boys. Besides exploring the record we also spend some time (too much?) discussing the Super Bowl and our guest Chris makes his pick for a future roundtable episode. You wanted the best, you got...well, us. March 2016 Anniversaries Part II: Steve Earle, Metallica, Sepultura, REM, Slint, Sleater Kinney, Girls Against Boys, Neutral Milk Hotel, Converge
Girls Against Boys are one of the coolest-sounding bands I've ever heard, with a menacing bottom-heavy rhythm section, swaggery vocals and a crisp, lacerating guitar that cuts through it all. These days, GVSB is relatively dormant, meaning live performances from them are opportunities to treasure. They played this year's Riot Fest in Chicago in broad daylight (the band's arguably more suited to playing a sleazy, sweaty, darkened room). I sat down with singer Scott McCloud and drummer Alexis Fleisig after their performance. They talked about the band's potential future, their catalog and the fact that "Chicago's probably one of the best cities for (them) in the United States."
For the past 20 years, independent publisher Akashic Books has blazed a path of nonconformity and subversiveness through literature. Johnny Temple, the bassist of 90s alt-rock band Girls Against Boys, funded the fledgling press with the spoils of a major label advance the group received. In the pass two decades, the Brooklyn house has released over 400 books including titles from Marlon James, Arthur Nersesian and imprints from Dennis Cooper and Mobb Deep's Prodigy, plus the bestseller "adult children's book" Go the F**k to Sleep. In 2016, Akashic Books continues its eclectic streak with the publication of both Ziggy Marley's cookbook and Ron Kovic's Born on the 4th of July follow-up. During the first half of the show, Morgan McCane and her parents talk about an organization that Morgan founded at the age of 15. Morgan started Girls Against Boys Sagging (GABS) when she told her mom that she was tired of seeing boys walking around with their "dirty" underwear showing. When Morgan's mom challenged her to do something about it, Morgan did just that. Thus was born GABS, a movement against boys sagging, whose message is that women can change men's minds the most, so women need to ask their men to #pullemup! During the second half hour, Judge Eric Nyce, David Grogan, Ervin Reid, and Dennis Borie talk about the early voting process, how to sift through the rhetoric, the electoral process, and of course "The Donald."
We're back again this week, on another episode of See You Next Wednesday! Greg and Dan have Winner's Choice in Film Roulette for Episode #201, and they got to pick whatever movies they wanted to see this week. Greg decided to get sad and watch Anomalisa, while Dan climbed to the top of Everest and has returned to report back on his findings. Meanwhile, Casey has sat through all five waves of The 5th Wave - the latest YA adaptation to land in theaters - and he's got a lot of grumbling to do about it. Finally, we hop in a time machine and head back to 1993 to talk about the Girls Against Boys album Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby. Before all of this, we've got a ton to talk about, including a bevvy of sitcom chat with our thoughts on Cheers and Roseanne, we dive into the news of an upcoming Sam Raimi project, watch the trailer for Key & Peele's Keanu, talk a bout Kevin Smith's Yoga Hosers, and so much more! The title says it all! Lots of good information in here about their double standards (with audio evidence of said hypocrisy), and background on the FISA Courts vs the 4th Amendment! Music: minimal in this one. We open with Cheap Trick, of course, and their great song "Dream Police", and use some music from the Demons (Stockholm) and Girls Against Boys between segments, and close with The Fatima Mansions "Loyalizer"! Hope you like! Watch for our video news updates soon, and our upcoming long-term project: a series on the history of free market trade, political freedom movements, and how freedom betters lives! Be Seeing You! Spread the word about our pods! We'd love to engage more people with the ideas of liberty!

Welcome back to the conspiracy for freedom. In this program, EL G Grande studies the strange phenomenon of citizens accepting the idea of the government destroying homes that don't conform to government "codes". Then, he hits a breaking story: the revelation that local and state police are using your license plates to electronically monitor every route you drive. The data is stored, sometimes indefinitely. But regardless of whether it's stored, the very act of monitoring you is an abridgement of the 4th Amendment, because your license plate is tied to your ID and that means you are not anonymous. That, plus some props to Mos Def (Yasiin Bey) for his epic courage showing what the Gitmo 'detainees' suffer at the hands of their military captors (what kind of mind does that do people who haven't even been tried for any crimes?). Hope you like the exploration of real freedom, and dig the music: Love Spit Love "More than Money" (a section), Jurassic 5 and Mos Def (Jayo), some bits by Killing Joke, Girls Against Boys, The Stooges, WIRE, Fu Manchu, and then the full song "More than Money", by Love Spit Love. The title says it all. Keep spreading the word and fighting for individual liberty! This is a short pod, and there is more on the way, coming from Gardner and Furb, as they discuss the revelations about the NSA and how the politicians are unwilling to look at the real story, and a great conversation about how the federal government has inflated the prices of college degrees and destroyed the quality of many of those degrees. Comin' soon! In this pod we include music by Fu Manchu a bit of "Strato Streak", some WIRE "Agfers of Kodak", Girls Against Boys (a piece from "Speedway"), and a full tune from the New Bomb Turks "Grandpa Atomic"! Find their stuff if you're so inclined, Kevin Klein. Be Seeing You! At www.libertyconspiracy.com!
It's Fingers Against Absenteeism as special guest @Paimonaeon joins in as SlasherCast unleashes the grapes of wrath against Girls Against Boys. The guys are less Ted and a hospitalized Mike (no worries, he lives to make terrible and inappropriate jokes next week) but you still get some news, trailer talk and, a special Top 30 list to round out the episode. And watch for a special bonus episode soon featuring an in depth interview with Kenneth J Hall (Puppetmaster) to discuss the release of Linnea Quigley's Horror Workout. Coming soon!
On this epsiode of the show it's the battle of the sexes across the sands of time. With Wrestlemania 29 happening I thought it would be time to catch up with a WWE Legend in the 2-disc blu-ray review of Bret Hitman Hart : The Dungeon Collection (courtesy of eOne Entertainment) as the preformer takes you through some new unreleased matches. Then a wronged woman takes revenge to a new level with the blu-ray review of Girls Against Boys (courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment) with the help of a crazy friend. We then look back at a classic tale of revenge in the dvd review of Cecil B DeMille's 1949 classic Samson and Delilah (courtesy of Paramount Home Video) starring Victor Matue, Hedy Lamarr and a very young Angela Lansbury. It's a look at the making of the classic movie Psycho with the blu-ray review of Hitchcock (courtesy of Fox Home Video) starring Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren and Scarlett Johansson. The Liberty Conspiracy, a clenched punk fist smashing into the face of the state and the hypocrites who support it and work for its ceaseless attacks on individual sovereignty. In this program (sponsored by Con-WOW!)we look at the shock the pop media have expressed about the current president's clearly unconstitutional, immoral and evil assassination program and his attacks on US and foreign civilians. No trial, no presentation of evidence. No presumption of innocence. Just death from above (not 1979 -- look up the band, good one). This is an intense program. We can see how quickly the system is unraveling. On a recent "Ed" show (you know, the dummy we exposed for his complete lack of understanding about how speculation in products actually helps keep their prices lower during times of dearth) Ed's production team posted a poll. 78% of those who responded thought it was acceptable for the US government to assassinate Americans without trial. We're in the minority. Things are unwinding rapidly. Get ready for bad mojo, kids. This program also features a discussion of a recent viral vid that shows a teenage girl in court, and how a bored judge slammed her for saying WORDS. Think about it. Was she convicted of a crime? Did she or did she not retain her right to free speech? What does that tell us about the unworkability of a courtroom and the consistency of government to "protect" speech rights when it chooses to block them when its agents don't like the language you use? With KICK ASS music by The Datsuns "Harmonic Generator", SHINING (Norway) "Fisheye", The Dead Boys "Sonic Reducer", The Prodigy "Baby's Got a Temper", The Prodigy "Spitfire", The Zulus "Directly from Our Hearts to Yours", Girls Against Boys "Rockets are Red", WIRE "Agfers of Kodack", and Tribe "Abort" - Buy them if you can and please remember, we rely on donations to keep our vast audio library out there to prove our points about freedom. Be Seeing You!
We gots a goooood show for youz in this one (but don't we always?)! This time, the Conspiracy takes on the politicians and their sycophants who claim that people are driven to violence by watching violent television and playing violent video games. Not only have there been no scientific studies to prove this, the incidence of violence in the US has DROPPED as video games that depict violence have become more popular!. Gardner Goldsmith is joined in the studio by his niece, a very dangerous young lady named Brianna, and they look at one so-called social scientist and his claims that there IS a causal connection between video games and real violence. There is not, and by looking at the sad, subjectively determined criteria this man has used in his so-called study, we can see how manipulated science is by political goals and agendas. We stick with logic and real science, real facts, and we DEMOLISH this kind of silliness. Really think you'll enjoy this. Many thanks to Brianna for her help, and to those of you who download the program, or listen online or send a link to a friend. Muchas gracias! The music in this production includes: Girls Against Boys "Speedway", Danko Jones "Starlicker", Grinderman "Honey Bee (Let's Fly to the Moon)", "Heathen Child", Suicidal Tendencies "Institutionalized", The Prodigy "Run With the Wolves", The Demons (from Sweden) "Dizzy", Danko Jones "The Finger", Grinderman "No Pussy Blue"! Hope you'll see them live and seek out their tunes via amazon or itunes! Be Seeing You! www.libertyconspiracy.com !
A startlingly good production for you here, all. It's our analysis of claims made by people who want the government to force people to give "equal pay" to men and women at the workplace. We look at the claims and at the ethics of getting the government involved in the so-called solution, and we also look at whether the accusations of unequal pay are actually correct, and upon what they are based... Listen... The meme is rising. Including some choice, delicious music by Midnight Oil "What Goes On", Shriekback "Glory Bumps", Gary Milhouse "At Peace" (see him play in Bath, England!), The Grassy Knoll "Unbelievable Truth" (observe how they use the first note of Hendrix's version of "Purple Haze"!), Sonic Youth "Bull in The Heather", The Catherine Wheel "Black Metallic", DMZ "Watch for Me Girl"!, Wild Cherry "Play That Funky Music", Girls Against Boys "In Like Flynn" (as in Erroll Flynn, baby...) DIG! Be Seeing You! ROCK ON. Keep fighting for liberty!

We reconvene at the Liberty Conspiracy! Thanks for listening and for spreading the word. In this program, we discuss the recent move by the US House and Senate to impose "sanctions" on Iran. These "sanctions" are actually an embargo, which is an act of War. But, of course, there are few who still know this. One of them is Ron Paul... Gardner Goldsmith is another, and he takes the time to look at what Dr. Paul has said about the "sanctions" and to look at how that term is used far too loosely when the "embargo" is correct. He also looks at how other embargoes led to the exchange of fire, specifically, the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. Good stuff with music by Human Sexual Response "Blow Up", "Land of the Glass Pinecones" The Zulus "Directly from Our Hearts to Yours", The Psychedelic Furs "Blacks/Radio" (not originally released on the first US disc because the record co believed it to be too controversial in the south), Girls Against Boys "Rockets Are Red", The New Bomb Turks "Dented and Spent" and "Grandpa Atomic" (listen to those drums!!!! And listen for this quote: "If we're gonna be the police of the world, I want my donuts freeeeee, yeah!", Danko Jones "I Can't Handle Moderation" and "Samuel Sin"!!! YEAH! Buy their stuff! See them live! Be Seeing You!
Opening with Kasabian's "Days Are Forgotten", we delve into the forgotten principle of JURY NULLIFICATION, which stems from the ancient Common Law, and which is not mentioned by most judges in contemporary courts. It's an important power that the people have to negate bad laws! Check out the news story and our analysis. Then, listen as El G Grande explains why both Arizona and the gubment cats in DC are wrong in their immigration arguments in the Supreme Court! We go into some valuable information for liberty lovers, and stress the economic benefits of unlimited immigration! With music by Kasabian, The Fatima Mansions, Girls Against Boys ("Rockets Are Red" and "In Like flynn"), The Sex Pistols ("Bodies" and "Holidays in the Sun" - LIVE!), Steely Dan ("Black Friday"), Morphine ("Super Sex"), Massive Attack ("Man Next Door"), Iggy and the Stooges ("I Wanna Be your Dog") blending into The Cult's homage, ("Phoenix")! Be Seeing You!
After a busy week David & Liam report back their experience at the basshunter concert. The two hosts seem very out of place when met with a large amount of bright colours and smoking 12 year olds. They get hounded, lectured and violated by bouncers on the door but settle in to some nice refreshing cider once allowed in. The night leads to almost knocking someone out with a door, getting invited into someone’s bus and having an intellectual talk in a bathroom with a drunken man. The news stories this week are about the problem with pointing guns at your face, marrying a weird object and Squirrels sexual habits. Having waited a long time the hosts finally see Back to the Future in the cinema and share their thoughts. All this week on the We Killed The Radio Star Podcast! Thanks to music.mevio.com for providing music for this podcast. Please check out www.wekilledtheradiostar.com. The song this week was Basstation by Girls Against Boys!
It's time for a brand spankin' new podcast! I had a special guest this week, Chris Hume, director of Red State Road Trip and Red State Road Trip 2. Check them out at redstateroadtrip.com or shootandrun.net. Chris also directed a mini-documentary about the Geological Museum (Shameful self-promotion: I am in it ripping our failed football team and sharing my thoughts on the UW president's benefits.) This week's show featured music from Treepeople, Sonic Youth, The Dead Weather, Superchunk, Tom Waits, The Love Me Nots, Super Furry Animals, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Modest Mouse, and the Angry Malcontent ranted about our space program, and our lack of motivation ("Where's my goddamn hover car?!"). Blue Collar Joe debated Aurora Firestone on health care and got owned by Aurora and the Angry Malcontent. I shared my thoughts on Urbandictionary.com, and, for the first time, we had an unrelated, two-way tie for d-bag of the week! (Note: I referred to Robert Webb as Richard Webb a couple of times. Oops.)Track Listing:"Everything'll Be Alright," Superdrag "Sunday," Sonic Youth "Break My Heart," The Love Me Nots "We've Got to Get Out," Maritime "Running With the Wasters," The Takeover UK "Tidal Wave," The Apples In Stereo "The Ride, Pt. 2," Calexico "Caucasian Blues," Jarvis Cocker "Anenome," The Brian Jonestown Massacre "Only Shallow," My Bloody Valentine "So Far from Your Weapon," The Dead Weather "Jockey Full of Bourbon," Tom Waits "Dramamine," Modest Mouse "Show Your Hand," Super Furry Animals "Car," Built To Spill "Teller," Throwing Muses "In Like Flynn," Girls Against Boys "Nub," The Jesus Lizard "Seven," Sunny Day Real Estate "Grace Cathedral Park," Red House Painters "Slack Motherf*cker," Superchunk "Losing Skin," Seaweed "Andy Warhol," Treepeople "Getting' High for Jesus," Holly Golightly & The Brokeoffs
