Bart is shocked to learn that there was once a better prankster at Springfield Elementary, and it turns out to be Jonah Hill! Well, kinda. Plus, Marge gets judged by the other mothers for the snacks she feeds her kids. Honestly, a pretty fun episode that pokes fun at youtuber pranks, as well as OTT parents who think everything is unhealthy. We also discuss how Guy has never heard 'Baby Shark', how Dando has never seen 'Twilight', why Dando's car decided to rip open his ear and more.If you enjoy this review, please consider supporting us on Patreon for as little as $1 per month at patreon.com/fourfingerdiscountListen on Spotify - spoti.fi/4fDcSY0Listen on Apple Podcasts - apple.co/4dgpW3ZCHECK OUT OUR OTHER PODCASTS:Goin' Down To South Park - spreaker.com/show/goin-down-to-south-parkThe Movie Guide with Maltin & Davis - themovieguidepodcast.comThe One About Friends - spreaker.com/show/the-one-about-friends-podcastTalking Seinfeld - spreaker.com/show/talking-seinfeldSpeaKing Of The Hill - spreaker.com/show/speaking-of-the-hill-a-king-of-the-hill-The Office Talk - spreaker.com/show/the-office-talk-podcastBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/four-finger-discount-simpsons-podcast--5828977/support.
The OD'ing on Movies Podcast returned with a fan-favorite episode—this time stepping into the blue-tinted, vampire-filled world of Twilight. Dr. Jacobi Cleaver and Dr. Jacob Wilson invited two special guests for this rewatch: social media creator and longtime Twilight fan McKenzie Richardson, and Jenny Orand, Dr. Wilson's wife and unofficial pop-culture analyst. What followed was a hilarious, nostalgic, […]

It is common to hear people talk about how they feel time is speeding up, or that life seems off, or that there is something just ‘wrong'. Besides the context of who say those things, or why, there may actually be a clear answer. Everything today has been transformed into a mental illness just as every topic is rendered to a strategy. The basis for this is psychology and behavioral science, dating back to even a time before Edward Bernays. Many of our lives are the result of psychological-behavioral methodology, which has been employed as a standard in everything from politics to fast food. Every company uses the same strategies. It may be that these methods of persuasion were a bit too effective and that they have created mutations that are the result of an experimental fallout. This is so true that when someone is directly honest or doesn't try to “sell” us on something we often become highly suspicious, which is both a trust issue and an expectation issue. Ultimately it seems that we are living in the Twilight Zone, inside a real Project Artichoke or Operation Climax. A population hooked on stimulants and shocked by momentary notifications are like the patients strapped down, shocked, and drugged in MKULTRA experiments. Those of us walking around in front of televisions with cameras are living a real life Operation Climax, and the repeated messaging every single day is a byproduct of subproject 68. *The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. Volunteer firefighters on Pender Island, B.C. are getting plenty of attention for some of their fire safety videos that have remade an iconic scene from the film Twilight to get their message across. We speak with Todd Bulled, the volunteer firefighter behind the videos about where the inspiration came from.
Tread Merrily 2025 begins with the annual tradition -- a Festive episode of Doctor Who. This one is called "The Time of The Doctor." When a signal broadcasts across all of time and space, The Doctor soon finds himself in orbit around a mysterious planet. But he is not alone with Daleks, Sontarans, Cyberman, and more also investigating the signal. Meanwhile, it's Christmas dinner at Clara's and she needs him to be her boyfriend. Are these two threads connected? Is the planet really Gallifrey? It's almost time for the clock to strike 12 and The Doctor is out of regenerations. Is this the final end? Justin determines Steven Moffat's third worst trait as a writer. The discussion centers on Moffat using his greatest hits throughout this story, leading to Tread Perilously's own greatest hits -- including Erik's belief about the real end of A Song of Ice and Fire, Twilight hot takes, and a determination about who has seen the light of the Two Trees. Erik tries to figure out why Paul McGann was seen recently shooting something in his Eighth Doctor costume. Justin stumbles on the secret sauce of Stranger Things. The true name of The Doctor is revealed. The Lord Humongous makes a trip to the market and Justin determines what the Sontarans really resemble.
Hunter and Blasto are back for the first half of an extremely in-depth discussion overviewing the Ability Deck for Twilight's Fall. This deck has an overwhelming number of cards and is the real backbone of this new mode so I would consider this conversation essential for understanding the potential strategy that this game mode unlock. The second part of this discussion will drop in January, we decided to split it up because it was looking to be an incredibly long episode and we'd love some more time to think about the ability deck! Feel free to hit us with some errata on this one and we'll get to it in part 2. Signups for our first online Thunder's Edge tournament are LIVE! Giles Alderson and Dom Lenoir sit down with writer/director (and actor) Kristen Stewart and actor Imogen Poots to discuss Kristen's highly anticipated feature directorial debut, The Chronology of Water. The director, acclaimed for her Oscar-nominated role in Spencer, breaks down the challenge of adapting Lidia Yuknavitch's raw memoir and her choice to shoot on 16mm film. Imogen Poots (The Father, Vivarium) shares her actor's process for embodying the difficult role and how the unique Stewart-Poots collaboration helped bring this complex, emotional story to life. A must-listen masterclass on craft, vulnerability, and the transition from actor to director. Kristen, known for the Twilight films who became the first American actress to win a French César Award and earned an Oscar nomination for Spencer, makes her highly anticipated feature directorial debut with The Chronology of Water. This is an emotionally fearless, non-linear look at the trauma and ultimate triumph of writer Lidia Yuknavitch, a film that blew up at the Cannes Film Festival where it received a huge ovation. Joining her is the incredible Imogen Poots—a chameleon of the screen, known for her intense work in films like The Father, Green Room, All of You and Vivarium. As Lidia, Imogen carries the immense weight of this memoir, earning massive praise for her raw, committed performance. We're going to dive deep into The Chronology of Water's production: the 8-year journey to bring this 'unadaptable' memoir to the screen, and the unique, vulnerable challenge of an actor-turned-director working with her lead star. This is a must-listen on resilience, adaptation, and finding your voice in cinema. Let's welcome Kristen Stewart and Imogen Poots! The Chronology of Water is playing in select theatres before it's release early next year. Links FOOD FOR THOUGHT documentary out NOW | Watch it FREE HERE. This week on Better Buildings for Humans, host Joe Menchefski explores the fascinating science of light and health with Jan Denneman, founder of the Good Light Group and a 45-year veteran of the lighting industry. Jan unpacks the critical—yet often overlooked—role of light in regulating our circadian rhythms, boosting sleep quality, enhancing mood, and even reducing national healthcare costs. From the newly discovered “spheres” in our eyes to the magic of 500 lux, Jan explains how most indoor environments fall into what he calls a “twilight zone,” biologically speaking. He also dives into why natural light trumps artificial, and how healthier buildings could be our biggest untapped wellness tool. If you care about human-centered design, lighting innovation, and boosting occupant performance, this episode is a must-listen.More About Jan DennemanJan Denneman is the founder and chairman of the Good Light Group and ambassador of the Global Lighting Association. The Good Light Group is a non-profit organization promoting good indoor lighting — either natural daylight or electric light with comparable positive effects on health and well-being. Good light helps synchronize the biological clock, improves sleep quality, increases daytime energy, and supports a better mood and long-term health. With more than 45 years of experience in lighting, Jan has developed deep expertise in how light affects human health. He served as Vice President at Philips Lighting (now Signify) and held leadership roles in innovation, product development, marketing, and sustainability. Jan co-founded several leading international consortia, including: Global Lighting Association (Chairman 2007–2017), Zhaga Consortium, The Connected Lighting Alliance, LightingEurope (Chairman 2013–2017), Good Light Group (Chairman since 2019) Jan shares his expertise on healthy lighting and sleep through short videos on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.Contact:https://www.linkedin.com/in/jan-denneman-a60bb57/?originalSubdomain=nl https://www.jandenneman.com/ https://www.goodlightgroup.org/ https://globallightingassociation.org/ Where To Find Us:https://bbfhpod.advancedglazings.com/www.advancedglazings.comhttps://www.linkedin.com/company/better-buildings-for-humans-podcastwww.linkedin.com/in/advanced-glazings-ltd-848b4625https://twitter.com/bbfhpodhttps://twitter.com/Solera_Daylighthttps://www.instagram.com/bbfhpod/https://www.instagram.com/advancedglazingsltdhttps://www.facebook.com/AdvancedGlazingsltd

In this episode of Chloe vs The World, Chloe is joined by Ieuan Cooke for a full deep dive into the worlds of Wicked, The Hunger Games, Fourth Wing, and the many corners of BookTok they both obsess over. From fantasy worlds, romance tropes and smut scenes to rereading Twilight as adults, this one goes everywhere. They break down why Wicked confused so many first-time viewers, who they'd cast in future Hunger Games films, and the book series that have taken over their lives this year. They get into Fourth Wing, A Court Of Thorns and Roses, dragons, fanfiction, reading habits, and the chaos of TikTok edits. There's plenty outside of books too - including rugby boy culture, animated character crushes, acting dreams, retail horror stories, star signs, Saturn Returns, and their most unhinged delulu moments. Ieuan shares his funniest DMs, his main character vision of life, what his “villain era” would look like, and why he once removed a tooth gem with a hammer. They also chat Twilight (and why some scenes haven't aged well), Bridgerton, Wicked casting, Les Mis, theatre recommendations, and the TV shows they've binged recently. Expect conversations about pop stars, celebrity crushes, TikTok trends, edits, music, and the corners of the internet they spend far too long on.Listen to the FULL PODCAST and follow us on:Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/4UjhcQP...Apple Podcasts - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...Tiktok - https://www.tiktok.com/@chloevsthewor...Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/chloevsthew...Chloe: https://www.instagram.com/chloeburrows/?hl=enDilemmas: chloevstheworldsubmissions@gmail.com
Paying respects to lost family should be a peaceful, reflective, moment. In the case of the Cooler Version it ends up being a trap set for others that they simply happened their way into. They must fight their way through golems left in waiting for centuries and more if they want any answers. And will those answers condemn or condone the ancient mage no one can remember? WILL VS. VECNA!!! Stranger Things Full Reaction Watch Along: / thereelrejects Gift Someone (Or Yourself) A Stranger Things RR Tee! https://shorturl.at/hekk2 Part 1 of the FINAL SEASON concludes as Greg & John return ONCE MORE for their Stranger Things 5 Reaction, Recap, Commentary, Analysis, Breakdown, & Spoiler Review! The Volume 1 finale of Netflix's sci-fi horror juggernaut from the Duffer Brothers takes us back to Fall 1987, Hawkins is still under military quarantine after the Rifts tore open at the end of Season 4, and the Upside Down is spilling into reality as the crew races to locate Vecna before he strikes again. Greg Alba & John Humphrey dive into Chapter Four: “Sorcerer,” an episode the Duffers have described as one of the most massive, logistically insane chapters they've ever shot — “as big as any finale we've done.” The legendary ensemble returns including Millie Bobby Brown (Enola Holmes, Godzilla: King of the Monsters) as the fierce, determined Eleven; Finn Wolfhard (IT, Ghostbusters: Afterlife) as the good-hearted Mike Wheeler; Noah Schnapp (Hubie Halloween, The Tutor) as the wise Will Byers; Gaten Matarazzo (Les Misérables on Broadway, Prank Encounters) as tech-savvy Dustin Henderson; Caleb McLaughlin (Concrete Cowboy, High Flying Bird) as the ever-faithful Lucas Sinclair; Sadie Sink (The Whale, Fear Street Part Two) as the comatose Max Mayfield; Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands) as protective mother Joyce Byers; David Harbour (Black Widow, Violent Night) as the hardened Jim Hopper; Natalia Dyer (Yes, God, Yes; Chestnut) as the tenacious Nancy Wheeler; Joe Keery (Free Guy, Fargo) as the lovable Steve Harrington, Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd, Twilight) as Vecna, the looming mastermind of the Upside Down, & MORE! Iconic moments include the epic reveal that Will's long-standing psychic link to Vecna manifests in terrifying new abilities, culminating in a desperate, power-charged rescue that redefines his role in the final season + the surprise return of Season 2's Kali aka 008! With the story circling back to Will's original connection to the Upside Down and setting up the final two volumes, “Sorcerer” feels like a turning point for every major character — and a brutal reminder that Hawkins may not survive what's coming. We continue discussing episodes 1 through 3, starting off with Sanda. The crew shares their appreciation of the art style and animation, and how it nods to Invader Zim and Zatch Bell. Jakia isn't as excited about the show as Keoni is. She finds it sus that a 14-year-old boy transforms into an 80-year-old man. In Spy Family Season 3, Justin's hate for Anya continues, and he admits that you have to commit to finishing the season. The crew is shares how there is a mix of pointless episodes and then canon when we leave of Twilight's backstory. There is debate about whether or not he truly remembers his name due to stressors or if they bleeped it out. We stan for My Status As An Assassin. Thestory and art are refreshing; Jakia doesn't trust that the students were summoned to save the world. Jakia doesn't get the votes to put the King and the Princess in the book. We're here for the titles in My Hero Academia. Justin needs to find a clip of the old man wanting to save All Might. Justin wasgetting teary-eyed, and loved how they were pulling at the heartstrings, absolutely stunning and captivating. The fight between One for All, All Might and Stain is giving us everything! What do you think of the Fall 2025 anime season? Which shows are you watching? Which shows are you dropping? We'd loveto know! All this and more in this episode of Kaizoku Uncharted!
It's a Hunter and JadiimJedi episode! Expect it to go long and feature lots of tangents. This week we're taking a look at all the new action cards added to Thunder's Edge (We'll do a separate episode for the Twilight's Fall cards don't you worry). Also reminder! Many of the codex ACs also got makeovers so expect us to cover that as well. Someday we'll do another episode about the entire AC deck and I hope on that day you will witness the first 7 hour SCPT episode. Signups for our first online Thunder's Edge tournament are LIVE! Sleeping at Last is the solo project of Illinois multi-instrumentalist Ryan O'Neal — and he's about to take the stage with the Chicago Philharmonic this holiday season. He's had music featured in shows including “Grey's Anatomy,” “The Vampire Diaries” and “Private Practice,” but O'Neal's catapult to success came when his song “Turning Page” landed a coveted spot in the 2011 “Twilight” film “Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” On Saturday, Nov. 29, O'Neal will join the Chicago Philharmonic at the Auditorium Theatre for “Home for the Holidays.” The performance includes orchestral arrangements of O'Neal's holiday covers and original songs. He sat down with Vocalo's Nudia Hernandez to discuss how he got in touch with the orchestra and give some insight into his creative process. This interview originally aired on Vocalo Radio 91.1 FM during Nudia in the Afternoons on Tuesday, Nov. 18. It was hosted, edited and produced by Nudia Hernandez, with production support from Morgan Ciocca and Talia Lopresti. The overview of this two part series is structured thusly: We will start off with the oil Sector. Why it matters in terms on the control of global markets, pricing and as such how that attempt to weaken adversaries such as Russia, Iran and China. But also it is necessary for the American ruling class as it wants cheap access to oil, in order to keep productions costs low etc. Then we will talk about Venezuela in terms of its proximity to the Panama Canal which generates a lot of paranoia in the USA with regard to the BRI potential, China's access to key trade locations that threaten US influence in the region but also the global economy. Then the military angle, which is linked to the Cuban missile crises paranoia, as Venezuela and Russia have also signed a strategic anti-hegemon partnership which was ratified by Russia last month. What does it mean? Then we will move onto rare earth, which is very important and multi-layered. Rare-earths are becoming one of the most valuable resources due to high-tech, and the race for AI. How the US is completely de industrialized and How that links to Sudan as well as even the past war on Yemen and Congo. We will discuss this new engagement with Nigeria. And finally in conclusion, why civil war and chaos favors capital, and why so little is done to end the ethnic cleansing in Sudan or Forstall a war with Venezuela or come up with a workable peace plan (for it could never be a liberation plan) in Gaza.
