Klappe halten, sechs, setzen. Hosted on Acast. Hosted on Acast. We are excited to welcome entrepreneur Kimberly Hardcastle, another icon in our industry, as today's guest. Kimberly is the Chief Strategist at Freeman and one of the industry's most respected leaders in event marketing and strategy. Kimberly is a speaker, a writer for the PCMA Convention, and a leader recognized by IAEE with the Educator of the Year and Woman of Achievement awards. Stay tuned for Kimberly's practical insights on leadership, personalization, trust, AI, and the direction the meetings and events industry is headed. Kimberly's Journey Kimberly originally studied Spanish with an emphasis in business, planning to facilitate international trade. After her husband's military career took them to Maine and Scotland, she focused on marketing and eventually joined MDG, a marketing agency specializing in trade shows. When the founder began planning for retirement, Kimberly purchased the business, grew it twentyfold, expanded across the United States and internationally, acquired Tag Digital in the UK, and later became Chief Strategist at Freeman. Noticing Potential When Kimberly purchased MDG, she saw far more potential than the business had been built to pursue. The agency already had trust and a strong reputation, but she believed it had only scratched the surface. By expanding geographically, broadening its services, and investing in growth, the company scaled far beyond its original size. Relevant Events The meetings and events industry is changing too quickly to continue operating in default mode. AI, changing attendee expectations, and evolving buying behavior require organizers to question long-held assumptions and continually adapt their events so they remain relevant in the future. The Trade Show Floor Attendees now complete much of their research before arriving at an event. Instead of discovering companies for the first time, many arrive ready to compare options, ask detailed questions, test products, and determine whether a solution fits their company and timeline. The trade show floor has become a place where buying decisions are more likely to convert. Reaching Attendees Email remains important, but it should no longer be the primary marketing channel for events. Event organizers need to expand into additional channels, optimize their websites for answer engine optimization, and use tools such as LinkedIn collaborative posts to reach audiences where they are already searching for information. Better Booth Experiences Exhibitors should bring the right mix of people to their booths, including engaging salespeople and knowledgeable subject matter experts. Instead of simply scanning badges for follow-up, you should create hands-on experiences that allow attendees to explore products, ask difficult questions, and build confidence in their decisions. Building Trust You build trust by showing that you understand the challenges your audience is currently facing. Rather than relying on generic claims about event size or the number of sessions, your messaging should demonstrate that you understand changing regulations, rising costs, shifting customer expectations, and other issues affecting your industry. Authentic Human Interaction As AI-generated content becomes more common, authentic human interaction becomes even more valuable. Live events offer experiences that cannot be replicated at a desk, including human connection, trust, hands-on product demonstrations, spontaneous conversations, and opportunities to learn directly from other attendees and subject matter experts. Personalization Personalization is no longer about simply using someone's name in an email. By using attendee data responsibly, organizers can recommend sessions, exhibitors, introductions, and experiences that align with each attendee's specific objectives while still allowing room for unexpected discoveries throughout the event. Understanding the Next Generation Millennials and Gen Z are changing how products, companies, and events are discovered. Although they are digital natives, they value face-to-face events because they build confidence, professional relationships, mentoring opportunities, and interpersonal skills that cannot be developed through screens alone. Focus Areas As a business owner, you should focus on the areas where you create the greatest value and surround yourself with people whose strengths complement your own. Putting the right systems, processes, and people in place allows your business to grow without sacrificing quality or client experience. The Future of the Industry Kimberly believes AI will help event professionals accomplish more with fewer resources while creating increasingly personalized event experiences. She feels there is still significant opportunity to keep communities engaged throughout the year rather than limiting engagement to the days when the event takes place. She expects face-to-face events to become even more valuable as AI continues to reshape how people work and communicate. Bio: Kimberly Hardcastle As Chief Strategist at Freeman, Kimberly drives participation, elevates experiences, and future-proofs events for Freeman clients. With a Master of Science in Business Administration, over two decades of industry experience, and a unique ability to shift between analytical and creative thinking, she brings both discipline and imagination to solving complex challenges. Her expertise in event marketing, strategic planning, tactical execution, and organizational design was shaped during her 24-year tenure at mdg, the agency she helped build before eventually selling to Freeman. Kimberly is a CEM faculty member, a Krakoff Leadership Institute alumna, and has been named by IAEE as an Educator of the Year and a Woman of Achievement. She has a monthly column in PCMA's Convene magazine and is a frequent presenter at SISO, PCMA Convening Leaders, Expo! Expo! and Lippman Connects events. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

In this episode of the HVAC Know It All Business Edition Podcast, co-hosts Gary McCreadie and Furman Haynes from WorkHero sit down with Brynn Cooksey Sr, CEM, CMS, the Founder of Air Doctors Heating & Cooling and HVAC U (Building Scientists). They explore how building science can transform an HVAC business. Drawing from his background in the utility industry, Brynn explains why many contractors focus too much on equipment and not enough on understanding the home as a complete system. The conversation covers energy audits, customer trust, home performance testing, pricing strategies, and the business advantages of moving beyond simple equipment replacements. Brynn also shares practical advice for contractors looking to differentiate themselves through diagnostics, education, and problem-solving. Brynn is a nationally recognized educator in the HVAC industry. Before entering the HVAC business, Brynn worked in the power and utilities sector, where he gained a deep understanding of energy generation, distribution, and efficiency. Are you scaling your e-commerce brand in revenue, but not in profit? Are you flying blind on CAC, LTV, fulfillment costs, and ad performance, hoping the numbers work out later? Many founders grow to low 7-figures on hustle and luck, only to hit a painful ceiling of chaos, cash-flow problems, and agency fatigue. In this episode of Marketer of the Day, growth partner Cem Atik of Harucon Ventures shows you what it really takes to move from low 7-figures of chaotic growth to predictable, profitable scale. With 13+ years in e-commerce and a track record of stepping into DTC brands “stuck between traction and chaos,” Cem doesn't just run ads, he and his team take equity and full control of marketing, perform deep finance and marketing due diligence, and rebuild growth systems from the inside out. Cem reveals the three bottlenecks he sees in almost every 7- and 8-figure brand: founders who don't know their true CAC and LTV, broken or non-existent third-party tracking and attribution, and a lack of real control over fulfillment, taxes, and operational costs. He explains how, by building a single source of truth for numbers and cohorts, brands can finally make confident decisions about where to cut spend, where to double down, and how aggressively they can acquire new customers. Instead of guessing, you start steering your business with clarity. https://youtu.be/3fHMwV8W1tE?si=WS6EZKQnCQ77GEYj You'll also hear a powerful case study of a brand doing $10M/month that boosted revenue while cutting marketing spend by 20–25% just by fixing structure and supply chain inefficiencies, saving 9% on fulfillment alone. Cem calls his model “marketing for adults”: performance-based, numbers-first, and designed so both sides win only when the business truly grows profitably. Along the way, he shares why humility beats ego when hiring marketers and operators, and why, if you truly control your numbers, you can afford to move fast and even be a little chaotic everywhere else. If you're tired of agency fatigue, unclear profitability, and growth that feels like a gamble instead of a strategy, this conversation will give you a concrete blueprint. You'll discover how to get a grip on your metrics, clean up your ad accounts, and build a team and system that take you from “winging it” at $1–5M to scaling like a pro toward $50M and beyond, without losing your sanity or your margins. Quotes: “Brands that grow from five to fifty million don't do it because they run better marketing; they do it because they did the groundwork that allows them to grow safely.” “If you have control over your numbers, you can be chaotic in everything else, and as long as your execution speed is great, you will still succeed.” “You could be the best email, WhatsApp, Google Ads, or Meta guy, but the only thing that will always win is a good team that's working proactively together.” Contact Details: Connect with Cem Atik on LinkedIn Explore Harucon Ventures Official Website
Cem Atik is the co-founder and CMO of Harucon Ventures, a firm that acquires minority and majority equity stakes in e-commerce and SaaS businesses doing between one and ten million in annual revenue. Rather than operating as an agency or consultancy, Cem and his team get in with capital, take operational control of marketing and finance, and work to make the businesses they partner with structurally profitable. Most e-commerce brands that come to Harucon Ventures have the same underlying problem: they are optimizing for the wrong things. Revenue looks healthy. ROAS looks acceptable. But unit economics are broken, overhead is bloated, and the margin structure makes scaling impossible. In this conversation, Cem walks through exactly how his team diagnoses and fixes that. From cutting ad spend by 1.7 million euros in a single month to replacing a fulfillment provider that was silently overcharging a brand shipping 25,000 packages a day, the fixes are rarely glamorous but consistently high-impact. The conversation also covers his four-engine growth framework: acquisition, retention, conversion, and profit-first optimization, and why founders who lead with ROAS are measuring the wrong thing entirely.Cem also breaks down channel mix strategy, including why Pinterest and Bing Ads are consistently underused, why TikTok affiliate is one of the highest-leverage growth levers available right now, and why the real money in e-commerce is almost always made in retention, not acquisition.Founders who are scaling but not compounding, or growing revenue while watching margins compress, will find this episode unusually direct and useful.Website: https://www.vimmi.net Email us: info@vimmi.net Podcast website: https://vimmi.net/commerce-untold/ Eitan Koter's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/eitankoter/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@VimmiVideoCommerce/featured Guest: Cem Atik, Co-Founder & CMO, Harucon Ventures Cem Atik's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cem-atikHarucon-Ventures: https://harucon-ventures.com/Key Takeaways: • If a founder cannot state their customer acquisition cost in under 15 seconds, the business does not have a real financial foundation yet. • ROAS tells you how much revenue you generated per dollar spent. It tells you nothing about whether that dollar was profitable. Optimizing for profit on ad spend (POAS) gives you actual control. • Gross margin under 65% makes scaling structurally difficult in the US and UK markets. The margin problem cannot be fixed with better ads. • Agencies are typically three times cheaper than hiring in-house at early stages. Outsource acquisition first, learn from the partner, then bring it in-house once systems are proven. • TikTok affiliate is one of the most capital-efficient acquisition channels available: commission-based, creator-generated content, and scalable without a large internal team. • Pinterest is consistently overlooked despite an audience skewing 25 to 45 years old with average household incomes above $100K, and ROAS between four and six even at modest spend levels.Chapters:[00:00] Introduction: Cem Atik and the Harucon Ventures Model[01:27] The Founders Harucon Typically Partners With[03:45] The Post-Acquisition Audit: First 72 Hours[07:45] Cutting 1.7M Euros in Ad Spend: A Case Study[09:16] Why Gross Margin Under 65% Makes Scaling Nearly Impossible[13:51] The KPIs That Actually Matter: CAC, CLV, MER, EBITDA[18:35] The Four Engines: Acquisition, Retention, Conversion, Profit[24:00] Why ROAS Misleads and POAS Gives Real Control[25:41] Channel Mix: TikTok, Pinterest, Bing, and What Gets Overlooked
In episode 301 of the IDEAS+LEADERS Podcast, I'm joined by Cem Atik, founder of Harucon Ventures, growth operator, and one of LinkedIn's Top 25 Most Impactful PPC Professionals for 2025 and 2026. Through Harucon Ventures, Cem partners with companies generating $1–5 million in revenue, taking an equity position and assuming full responsibility for marketing operations to help them scale sustainably to the next level. We talk about why revenue growth alone rarely creates freedom for founders, why so many businesses become structurally fragile as they scale, and how marketing can evolve from a cost center into a profit control system. Cem shares an operator's perspective on building companies that are designed for long-term value, profitability, and successful exits. In this episode, we discuss:• Why growth often amplifies business problems instead of solving them • The difference between scaling revenue and scaling profit• Why companies above $5 million in revenue can become structurally fragile• How marketing can become a profit control system rather than a cost centerThis is a practical and insightful conversation for founders, entrepreneurs, business leaders, and anyone interested in building companies that grow with discipline, resilience, and long-term success. You can connect with Cem here: Cem Atik | LinkedIn Thank you for joining me on this episode of IDEAS+LEADERS. Episode DescriptionWhat happens when a single industrial chemical tank threatens an entire community? In this episode of the Emergency Management Network Podcast, Todd DeVoe and Andrew Boyarsky examine the Garden Grove hazardous materials incident that led to the evacuation of approximately 50,000 residents and businesses. What began as a concern over an overheating tank containing methyl methacrylate (MMA) quickly escalated into one of Southern California's most significant precautionary evacuations in recent memory.Todd and Andrew break down the incident from an emergency management perspective, discussing the decision-making process behind large-scale evacuations, the challenges of public messaging during uncertain situations, and the realities of managing low-probability, high-consequence events. They also explore what this event reveals about industrial hazards in urban environments and how emergency managers can better prepare their communities for complex technological disasters. This conversation is not about assigning blame. It is about understanding risk, learning from real-world events, and strengthening preparedness before the next incident occurs. In This EpisodeUnderstanding the Incident* What happened in Garden Grove?* The role of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and why it created concern.* How emergency officials assessed the threat.* Why was a precautionary evacuation ordered? The Emergency Management Perspective* Decision-making under uncertainty.* Balancing public safety against disruption.* The importance of situational awareness and intelligence gathering.* Working with fire, law enforcement, public health, and industry partners.Evacuating 50,000 People* Challenges of moving large populations quickly.* Traffic management and public compliance.* Protecting vulnerable populations and special needs residents.* Shelter and mass care considerations.Public Information and Risk Communication* Communicating complex hazards to the public.* Managing rumors and misinformation.* Building trust during rapidly evolving incidents.* The role of social media and traditional media.Lessons for Emergency Managers* Planning for industrial and hazardous materials incidents.* Reviewing evacuation zones and protective action strategies.* Strengthening public-private partnerships.* Incorporating technological hazards into emergency operations plans.* Training for events that are unlikely but potentially catastrophic.Looking Ahead* What communities can learn from Garden Grove.* Emerging risks associated with industrial facilities in urban areas.* Building resilience through planning, exercises, and partnerships.* Why preparedness remains a community-wide responsibility.Key Takeaways* Rare events still require planning.* Protective actions must be based on available information, not perfect information.* Effective risk communication can be as important as operational response.* Strong relationships between emergency managers, fire agencies, law enforcement, and private industry are essential.* The Garden Grove incident serves as a reminder that technological disasters can have community-wide consequences.About the HostsTodd DeVoe, CEM, is the Editor-in-Chief of The Emergency Management Network, Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Inglewood, educator, author, and IAEM-USA leader.Andrew Boyarsky is a veteran emergency management professional and co-host of the EMN Podcast, bringing practical insight and operational experience to discussions on disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience.Tags#EmergencyManagement #HazMat #GardenGrove #PublicSafety #EmergencyPreparedness #RiskCommunication #DisasterManagement #CommunityResilience #HazardousMaterials #EMNPodcast #ToddDeVoe #AndrewBoyarsky #EvacuationPlanning #CrisisLeadership #WholeCommunityApproach This is a public episode. Today's guest sees the U.S. financial markets entering the final stage of a multi-decade topping process and the early innings of a 15–20-year regime shift driven by demographics, populism, deglobalization, and rising structural inflation. He believes we are on the cusp of a “lost decade-plus” in nominal equity returns and meaningful real losses if investors keep using the old 40-year “buy-the-dip, stay long growth” playbook. How can we position ourselves to sidestep the worst of that, and perhaps even prosper in the years ahead?Well, let's ask the man himself. We're very fortunate to welcome back to the program Cem Karsan, Founder, CIO, and Managing Principal of Kai Volatility Advisors & Kai Wealth. Hari Krishnan joins Niels and Cem for a deep exploration of what happens when markets become dominated by flows rather than fundamentals. Drawing on his new paper with Mike Green and Stefan Sturm, Hari explains why rising passive ownership may weaken price discovery, amplify concentration in mega-cap stocks and create conditions for reflexive instability. The conversation expands far beyond indexing, touching on volatility targeting, leverage, dispersion, inflation, government intervention and the growing dependence of the global economy on rising asset prices. Along the way, Cem and Hari debate whether policymakers can continue stabilizing an increasingly fragile system, what could trigger a structural break, and how investors should think about positioning in a world where flows may matter more than fundamentals.-----50 YEARS OF TREND FOLLOWING BOOK AND BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO FOR ACCREDITED INVESTORS - CLICK HERE-----Follow Niels on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube or via the TTU website.IT's TRUE ? – most CIO's read 50+ books each year – get your FREE copy of the Ultimate Guide to the Best Investment Books ever written here. And you can get a free copy of my latest book “Ten Reasons to Add Trend Following to Your Portfolio” here.Learn more about the Trend Barometer here.Send your questions to info@toptradersunplugged.comAnd please share this episode with a like-minded friend and leave an honest Rating & Review on iTunes or Spotify so more people can discover the podcast.Follow Cem on Twitter.Follow Hari on LinkedIn.Episode TimeStamps: 00:00 - Hari warns about a fragile financial system dependent on a handful of decision-makers01:06 - Niels introduces Hari's new paper with Mike Green and Stefan Sturm03:00 - Why passive investing may weaken the link between fundamentals and prices08:40 - The key assumptions behind the model12:49 - How passive adoption accelerated structural market changes15:11 - Cem explains why markets may now drive the economy rather than reflect it23:38 - Can policymakers control a complex financial system?27:03 - How passive flows amplify mega-cap concentration31:22 - The changing role of dispersion, volatility and positioning41:04 - What the model suggests about instability at high passive ownership levels46:21 - Why 2022 may have been a warning sign51:55 - Inflation, government intervention and the limits of market control55:33 - What could trigger a systemic break?01:07:28 - Political and demographic pressures beneath the system01:10:43 - Hari's portfolio implications: stay long, hedge smartly and own inflation sensitivityCopyright © 2025 – CMC AG – All Rights Reserved----PLUS: Whenever you're ready... here are 3 ways I can help you in your investment Journey:1. eBooks that cover key topics that you need to know about In my eBooks, I put together some key discoveries and things I have learnt during the more than 3 decades I have worked in the Trend Following industry, which I hope you will find useful.
Eren Hanım'a teşekkürlerimizi sıkça yineledik. Today Cem Karsan and Niels Kaastrup-Larsen examine a market environment where politics, geopolitics and liquidity are becoming harder to separate. Cem argues that recent market strength is not just a reaction to better news, but part of a broader effort to manage risk, support collateral values and prepare for deeper geopolitical stress. From rising military spending and the Strait of Hormuz to treasury demand, QIS growth, AI and the next inflation wave, this conversation is about what happens when markets stop being passive observers and become tools in a larger strategic contest.-----50 YEARS OF TREND FOLLOWING BOOK AND BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO FOR ACCREDITED INVESTORS - CLICK HERE-----Follow Niels on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube or via the TTU website.IT's TRUE ? – most CIO's read 50+ books each year – get your FREE copy of the Ultimate Guide to the Best Investment Books ever written here. And you can get a free copy of my latest book “Ten Reasons to Add Trend Following to Your Portfolio” here.Learn more about the Trend Barometer here.Send your questions to info@toptradersunplugged.comAnd please share this episode with a like-minded friend and leave an honest Rating & Review on iTunes or Spotify so more people can discover the podcast.Follow Cem on Twitter.Episode TimeStamps: 00:00:01 - Introduction to Top Traders Unplugged00:00:35 - Niels and Cem reconnect and set the stage00:01:51 - Truth, narratives and the blurring of reality00:04:15 - Fed independence, politics and credibility00:07:45 - The rise of QIS and demand for alternative strategies00:12:52 - Trend following update and current market performance00:15:23 - Framing the disconnect between markets and reality00:20:09 - Liquidity, market rallies and strategic positioning00:25:08 - Are markets being actively managed00:34:51 - The real geopolitical battle and the role of China00:40:32 - What investors may be underpricing00:52:55 - Why markets can rise despite growing risks00:55:56 - Treasury demand, intervention and future policy paths00:58:04 - Inflation, debt monetization and long term outlook01:02:16 - AI, deflation and the political responseCopyright © 2025 – CMC AG – All Rights Reserved----PLUS: Whenever you're ready... here are 3 ways I can help you in your investment Journey:1. eBooks that cover key topics that you need to know about In my eBooks, I put together some key discoveries and things I have learnt during the more than 3 decades I have worked in the Trend Following industry, which I hope you will find useful. Today, Cem Karsan sits down with Lyn Alden for a wide-ranging conversation on the forces quietly shaping markets beneath the surface. From the persistence of fiscal dominance to the role of populism, demographics, and global power shifts, they explore why the current macro regime may be far harder to reverse than many expect. The discussion moves beyond economics into politics, examining how inequality, globalization, and technological change feed into inflation dynamics and policy decisions. They also tackle the future of the dollar, the risks to its global dominance, and the complex role of crypto in a system defined by power, incentives, and control.-----50 YEARS OF TREND FOLLOWING BOOK AND BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO FOR ACCREDITED INVESTORS - CLICK HERE-----Follow Niels on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube or via the TTU website.IT's TRUE ? – most CIO's read 50+ books each year – get your FREE copy of the Ultimate Guide to the Best Investment Books ever written here. And you can get a free copy of my latest book “Ten Reasons to Add Trend Following to Your Portfolio” here.Learn more about the Trend Barometer here.Send your questions to info@toptradersunplugged.comAnd please share this episode with a like-minded friend and leave an honest Rating & Review on iTunes or Spotify so more people can discover the podcast.Follow Cem on Twitter.Episode TimeStamps: 00:00:00 - Introduction to the episode and trading floor setting00:01:28 - Cem introduces Lyn Alden and frames the macro discussion00:02:23 - Lyn outlines her framework and the rise of fiscal dominance00:05:31 - Multipolar world and shifting reserve currency dynamics00:06:20 - Why debt cycles lead to persistent fiscal expansion00:13:42 - Debate on debt, modern monetary theory, and dollar privilege00:18:29 - Populism, inequality, and political drivers of inflation00:24:25 - Trade deficits, globalization, and domestic consequences00:30:20 - What happens if dollar dominance weakens00:34:16 - Comparing today to the 1940s vs the 1970s00:41:47 - Democracy, authoritarian drift, and rule of law00:44:17 - AI, productivity, and inflationary policy responses00:56:08 - Lyn's views on Bitcoin, stablecoins, and crypto markets01:03:34 - Debate on the long term sustainability of crypto01:09:42 - Closing thoughts on power, money, and the macro outlookCopyright © 2025 – CMC AG – All Rights Reserved----PLUS: Whenever you're ready... here are 3 ways I can help you in your investment Journey:1. eBooks that cover key topics that you need to know about In my eBooks, I put together some key discoveries and things I have learnt during the more than 3 decades I have worked in the Trend Following industry, which I hope you will find useful.
Cem Karsan sits down with Neil Howe to examine what a true regime shift means for markets and society. Howe argues that we are deep into a Fourth Turning, a generational winter that historically brings institutional fracture, geopolitical strain, and inflation that reshapes debts, assets, and political power. Cem ties that arc to today's realities: the exhaustion of the 40 year tailwind from falling rates, record valuations meeting refinancing risk, and the uncomfortable truth that 60/40 has failed for long stretches before. They explore the growing divide between capital and labor, the pivot from globalization to industrial policy, and the rising appeal of commodities, cash, and convex hedges in a world where outcomes are less linear. Howe also details how his Fourth Turning ETF reflects that view, pairing thematic equities with real assets and disciplined tail protection. This is a conversation about preparing, not predicting, when history starts to rhyme a little louder.-----50 YEARS OF TREND FOLLOWING BOOK AND BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO FOR ACCREDITED INVESTORS - CLICK HERE-----Follow Niels on Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube or via the TTU website.IT's TRUE ? – most CIO's read 50+ books each year – get your FREE copy of the Ultimate Guide to the Best Investment Books ever written here. And you can get a free copy of my latest book “Ten Reasons to Add Trend Following to Your Portfolio” here.Learn more about the Trend Barometer here.Send your questions to info@toptradersunplugged.comAnd please share this episode with a like-minded friend and leave an honest Rating & Review on iTunes or Spotify so more people can discover the podcast.Follow Cem on Twitter.Episode TimeStamps: 01:28 - Introducing Neil Howe and why this conversation matters now03:37 - What the Fourth Turning is and how the cycle works10:26 - “The Fourth Turning Is Here” and the practical question: what do we do?16:42 - Rates, inequality, and why the last 40 years may not repeat20:17 - Inflation as a crisis tool, not a forecasting error26:43 - Options, convexity, and non-linear portfolios in regime change33:31 - The surge into “non-correlated” assets and what it signals39:39 - Market closures, devaluation, and the limits of buy-the-dip history45:28 - Commodities as a missing portfolio leg and the volatility debate48:12 - Howe's ETF framework: themes, commodities, cash, and tail hedges52:43 - Timing the crisis, geopolitics, and the authoritarianism questionCopyright © 2025 – CMC AG – All Rights Reserved----PLUS: Whenever you're ready... here are 3 ways I can help you in your investment Journey:1. eBooks that cover key topics that you need to know about In my eBooks, I put together some key discoveries and things I have learnt during the more than 3 decades I have worked in the Trend Following industry, which I hope you will find useful.
