In this episode, you'll get to uncover one of my favorite new technologies, introduced to me by my guest, Raffaele Gianfrancesco—the roXiva light. This incredible tool opens the door to meditation, brain wave shifting, and out-of-body "journey-like" experiences without psychedelics. You'll also discover how it can help you achieve deep relaxation, improved focus, stress reduction, and the exploration of altered states of consciousness. RoXiva sessions combine coordinated sound frequencies with light patterns to amplify the "entrainment" effect, where your brainwave activity naturally synchronizes with external rhythms and stimuli, unlocking these benefits and so much more! If you're curious about unlocking new levels of focus, exploring altered states of consciousness, or simply optimizing your mental well-being, you won't want to miss this episode! How can Cereset sound technology treat brain imbalances and create a relaxed and harmonious mental state? In this episode, Jason Prall and Andrew DeGregorio discuss how they learn about Cereset. They mention that they both faced health challenges that traditional medicine couldn't solve. They turned to alternative healing methods and eventually met, forming a deep bond. Together, they explored different healing approaches and decided to start Cereset, a place offering unique healing technologies to help others. Their goal is to make a positive difference in people's lives by easing suffering and promoting well-being. They were skeptical at first, but seeing Andrew's amazing results and hearing other success stories changed their minds. They explain deeper about Cereset which uses sensors to read brain activity and plays tones back to the person. This helps the brain recognize and fix any problems. They realized that many health issues come from stuck patterns in the body, and Cereset helps unstick them, letting the body heal itself naturally. Cereset is like a brain tune-up using sound. It relaxes the mind and creates new pathways for well-being. It helps with sleep problems, anxiety, PTSD, concussions, and other issues related to brain balance. Discover how Cereset focuses on overall brain harmony instead of targeting specific conditions, which can help with many different problems caused by brain imbalance. Tune in now!Highlights:-Serious illness experienced by Jason and Andrew-Importance of addressing stuck patterns in chronic illnesses for healing-Power of sound in healing-The concept of Cereset balancing the brain internally to support various conditionsResources MentionedWebsite | www.cereset.comInstagram | @ceresetsandiegoAbout the Guest:Jason Prall is a health educator, practitioner, author, & filmmaker. In 2018, his independent research and experience as an integrative health practitioner led him to create "The Human Longevity Project”, a 9-part film series that uncovers the true nature of chronic disease in our modern world. And he's recently released his first book titled, “Beyond Longevity: A Proven Plan for Healing Faster, Feeling Better, and Thriving at Any Age”.Andrew DeGregorio is an Energetic Mentor, Author, and Business Coach. What stories remain hidden behind one of the most significant inventions of the nineteenth century? Kaleidophonic Modernity: Transatlantic Sound, Technology, and Literature (Fordham University Press, 2023) reexamines the development of mechanical sound recording technology by charting the orbits of writers, scientists, and artists in France and the United States. Working between comparative literature, the history of science, and urban studies, Dr. Brett Brehm builds a bridge between visual culture and sound studies. Kaleidophonic Modernity places the poet and inventor Charles Cros and his lover, the celebrated concert pianist and salonnière Nina de Villard at the heart of modern aesthetic and scientific vanguards. Cros's scientific endeavors ranged from color photography, to telecommunications, to mechanical sound reproducibility. In his poetry the Surrealists found an ancestor and inspiration. His literary and scientific works prove startling and relevant to predicaments of technological media in his own time and ours. For nearly twenty years Nina de Villard presided over a supremely daring intellectual salon. There, she welcomed manifold literary, artistic, and musical luminaries into a veritable crucible of the artistic avant-garde and precursor to the famous Chat Noir cabaret. Together, these two forgotten but pivotal figures, Cros and Villard, help reframe our thinking on Edgar Allan Poe, Charles Baudelaire, and Walt Whitman, icons of urban modernity who can now be seen and heard in a kaleidophonic light, one that offers a compelling new perspective on modern mediascapes. In elaborating this transatlantic phenomenon, Kaleidophonic Modernity illuminates the prehistory of the phonograph as it intersects with the aesthetics of sound reproducibility, Franco-American literary exchange, Poe's aesthetic and intellectual legacy, the sounds of modern cities and technologies, and the genealogy of audiovisual experimentation found in such movements as Dada, Futurism, and the sound art of today. Annie deSaussure, holds a Ph.D. in French from Yale University and is an Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies in the Department of Languages and Literary Studies at Lafayette College. Her work focuses on minority regional languages, literatures, and cultures in contemporary France, radio, sound studies, and podcasting. The blind community is not without its fair share of innovators: Louis Braille himself, of course, alongside many others who brought us the braille code we know and love today. Elsewhere, the blind community has invented talking book players, screen readers, notetakers and so much more. For blind musicians, many of the most notable technological innovations in the past thirty years or so have come from Dancing Dots, makers of the Goodfeel braille music translator, Cake Talking scripts for the Sonar Digital Audio Workstation, and Sibelius Speaking. In this episode, we catch up with its founder, Bill McCann. We talk about how he came to found Dancing Dots and what his products do, before discussing the advantages of his favourite braille displays – the QBraille XL and Canute 360 – and the mechanics of reading music using refreshable braille. The annual exhibition of technology and services for blind and partially sighted people, Sight Village South East was back at Kensington Town Hall in London on Tuesday 8 November 2022 and RNIB Connect Radio's Toby Davey was there soaking up the atmosphere and chatting with some of the exhibitors. Toby caught up with Glenn Tookey, Chief Executive of Sight and Sound Technology to find out what was new on their stand from the 2023 release of screen reading software JAWS and some of the other products on their stand including the Hable One Braille keyboard. As head of Sight and Sound Technology, the largest supplier and distributor of technology and devices designed for visually-impaired and blind individuals, Glenn Tookey wouldn't be disappointed if he went out of business. But until there are cures for all eye diseases, he remains a strong advocate for his customers. OIS Podcast host Rob Rothman, MD, kicked off a lively discussion with Tookey that covers the company's beginnings four decades ago, how he evaluates new products, and how he plans to bring those products to more patients. Tookey's tech industry career includes stints in telecom, data processing, and even pinball machine repair. In 2008, he saw a mobile phone designed to help people with vision loss. Inspired by the design and the purpose, he later bought Sight and Sound. As CEO, Tookey frequently evaluates new technology from emerging inventors and developers. He also readily advises on product design, market access, and other product launch elements for products that aren't ready for prime time. Too often, he said, innovators fail to address pricing (too expensive), market access (no reimbursement), or usability (too obtrusive or complicated).Moving forward, Tookey plans to stay on top of new technology and widen the company's reach. Connecting patients to products is as much of a challenge in the UK and Ireland as it is in the United States, but he's hoping to change that. Tookey wants to raise awareness with ophthalmologists, occupational therapists, opticians, and teachers to promote referrals and to bring greater independence to the blind and visually impaired. Listen to this podcast to discover: What Tookey sees as the most exciting solutions for creating independence for the visually impaired and the blind. The potential for augmented reality and virtual reality in this space. Hello and welcome back to Awakening Aphrodite! You've probably heard me talk a lot about the importance of understanding how your environment affects your health, mindset, emotional wellness and perspective in life. It's truly indisputable that everything: from the food we eat, to the media we consume, to the people and creatures we interact with on a daily basis shape who (and how!) we are in a very real way. That's why I am thrilled to present you with today's guest, Ross Newkirk, whose inventions actively upgrade the coherence of the immediate environment while harmonizing the electromagnetic fields and constant distractions we each face in our world today. Let's be honest… It's really difficult to find your joy while constantly navigating the many stressors and responsibilities of the typical lifestyle! I have to tell you that Ross Newkirk's Core Harmonizer absolutely changed my LIFE in that regard, and I don't make that claim lightly! You'll hear my personal story about my first time using it in this episode… An amazing experience that completely took me by surprise. In this episode you can also look forward to hearing about coherence, the importance of activating discernment and how to intuitively find your path and purpose. Ross shares insight into his spiritual upbringing, the pain of suddenly losing both parents and his healing journey through grief. He describes the human condition beautifully, and this episode is full of his unique sayings and ideas surrounding identity, self-criticism, spiritual connection, loneliness, creativity and healing. We also talk about EMF's, Marcel Vogel and Vogel-cut crystals, the many inventions of Ross's father and the three "brains" in the human body. *SPECIAL GIFT ALERT* Ross and his team have generously offered a great discount for my listeners! Today I'm joined by Allyn Evans, the Executive Director of the Monroe Institute. In today's episode, Allyn discusses how Edgar Cayce opened her eyes to the reality that we are more than our physical bodies, and how her spiritual exploration eventually led her to the Monroe Institute. We then discuss the history of the Institute and the development of binaural beats, sound technology and frequency following response. We next discuss the preparatory process for Monroe's “Gateway Experience” and how its used to support higher states of conscious awareness. From there, we talk about ongoing projects at the Monroe Institute including Allyn's spoon bending course and the Expand app. We then talked about how the author of The Men Who Stare at Goats tried and failed to debunk the Institute's remote viewing course. Next, we talk about the military and intelligence community's work with the Gateway Process. We end the conversation talking about sound healing for chronic illness, miracles, and non-physical friends. Outros for this and all episodes available at entangledpodcast.substack.com. Please enjoy! The Blind Guys are back for another day of shenanigans at Sight Village Central in Solihull. Steven Scott, Shaun Preece and Robin Christopherson are together in person and discuss the virtues of blind golf, how to get fit and we chat to Sight and Sound Technology's Stuart Lawler about their headline sponsorship of the event and also about their products, including some interesting news if you are on the lookout for a cheap way to get JAWS - the screen reader. Listen in through the next few episodes as we will bring you lots more conversations and interviews we have recorded at Sight Village. We would also like to thank the team, especially Karen Easthope and Lottie Reid from Queen Alexandra College in Birmingham, for their gracious and considerable support in allowing us to be a part of the event this year.
