Tamer Kattan is a stand-up comedian who's plied his strategy trade at 72andSunny, TBWAChiatDay, and Deutsch. He was born in Egypt, moved to the USA when he was 8, and then he had to work out how to adapt to an unhappy father and to unpredictable and sometimes violent environments as he grew up. Unfortunate for Tamer but lucky for us–because now he makes jokes about it all. P.S. Tamer is in NYC for the next few months doing shows. I caught him last night at the West Side Comedy Club. Letta J Raised in Dallas, Texas and of Dominican decent, Grammy Nominated Letta J's presence in the music marketplace is armed with a powerful and distinctive international sound. The daughter of two pastors, singing in church congregations of thousands of people under Bishop T.D.Jakes’ leadership was no challenge for the youngest member of the Grammy Award Winning Potter’s House Choir. She began performing, playing various instruments and preparing herself as a spokesperson at the tender age of 5. Her move to New York City ushered in numerous opportunities including her first record deal under the Motown and Universal Music Group umbrella, as well as working at major record labels like P.Diddy’s studio “Daddy’s House”, Sony, Atlantic, Epic, & Warner as a songwriter. Her musical catalog of over 100 records is comprised of a myriad of genres including EDM, country, pop, R&B and a gentler side with soulfully acoustic and soft rock hues. A published songwriter with licensed material on HBO, Nickelodeon and Disney, she has perfected the craft of pinning anthemic songs for shows like Zoe 101 & iCarly as well as artists like Ashanti, Kat Dahlia and Kellie Pickler. Although every record did not make the album, LJ has had songs on reserve from some of the industries hottest recording artists like Kehlani, Christina Aguilera, K.Michelle and Jill Scott just to name a few. Her ability to deliver a song is the reason she has worked with producers like Timbaland, Mike City and Scott Storch and has opened in concert for artists like Atlantic Records’, Trey Songz and merits phone calls from Clive Davis himself! In addition to her domestic shows, she heralds merit from living legends as the opening act on international tours all over Europe with artists and bands like Sister Sledge, Kool & the Gang and Earth, Wind & Fire, respectively. A published author in a compilation book entitled The Diary of a Songwriter, LJ has expanded her writing repertoire from songs to chapters. Chosen among a handful of other songwriters by 5-time Grammy Award winning producer and engineer, Devine Evans, her journey as an author has only just begun. In addition to a national book release came a Grammy Nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album of The Year for the Soundtrack released early 2016. Periel Aschenbrand is a writer, comic and producer. She is the author of two critically acclaimed comedic memoirs, The Only Bush I Trust is My Own (Penguin, US & Random House, UK) and On My Knees (Harper Collins, US & Penguin, Australia). Paul was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and had a traditional educational experience—went to college, got an Ivy League MBA, then joined the work force with $100k worth of school debt. However, after achieving success in the corporate world (he was one of the first 250 employees of Facebook as VP, West Coast Sales), he finally decided it was time to give in to his true passion. So, he left the high paying tech field behind and dove into the uncharted waters of… stand up comedy. Today, Paul’s comedy career takes him to clubs and corporate events all over North America, where he has opened for top comics like Dave Attell, Norm Macdonald, and Bill Burr. He just recently headlined Carolines on Broadway and in December, Paul headlined the West Side Comedy Club in New York City and is an official selection of the most recent Laughing Skull, Asheville, Cleveland, and North Carolina Comedy Festivals. When he isn’t touring comedy clubs, he is the host of his recently launched podcast, Crazy Money, in which he interviews entrepreneurs, celebrities, authors, and artists with a humorous perspective on money, wealth and careers. Take a break from the Ted Bundy documentaries (and fantasies, you sickos) to hear the soothing sounds of Megan’s new fancy, crotch-enhancing snow pants and bear witness as one of Wendi’s longest held beliefs is shattered before her very eyes, ears and nose. *Note: This LIVE show was recorded using microphones in the room in order to capture the feel of being in the room, and though it's totally listenable and captures the moment, it does not represent the same sound-quality of a typical episode of the New York City Crime Report with Pat Dixon podcast. Join host Pat Dixon with Seth Barron, along with Aaron Berg, ISIS Phaggot, Chloe LaBranche, JR Havlan, Ryan Katsu Rivera and a surprise visit from "Jerry Seinfeld."

ROBBERY. MURDER. RAPE. HILARIOUS. The show that almost wasn't, this rare episode is one which will be appreciated after my death, and likely also after your death. A violent manspreading self-proclaimed rapist of white bitches punches a woman on the subway and is apprehended after eyewitness video helps police identify the suspect. We analyze the power dynamics of a typical subway fight as we listen to captured footage of an argument which escalates into insanity. A look back at Sean Shaynack, one of the more cringey of the student-loving faculty at Brooklyn Tech. much more.
