Christina Greer is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Fordham University - Lincoln Center (Manhattan) campus. Her research and teaching focus on American politics, Black ethnic politics, campaigns and elections, and public opinion. Prof. Greer's book Black Ethnics: Race, Immigration, and the Pursuit of the American Dream (Oxford University Press) investigates the increasingly ethnically diverse black populations in the US from Africa and the Caribbean. She finds that both ethnicity and a shared racial identity matter and also affect the policy choices and preferences for black groups. Professor Greer is currently working on a manuscript detailing the political contributions of Barbara Jordan, Fannie Lou Hamer, and Stacey Abrams. She recently co-edited Black Politics in Transition, which explores gentrification, suburbanization, and immigration of Blacks in America. She is a member of the board of The Tenement Museum in NYC,  The Mark Twain House in Hartford, CT, Community Change in Washington, DC, and serves on the Advisory Board at Tufts University. She is a frequent political commentator on several media outlets, primarily MSNBC, WNYC, and NY1, and is often quoted in media outlets such as the NYTimes, Wall Street Journal, and the AP. She is a former Project Manager working on career development projects for Fortune 500 companies such as Colgate, the Federal Reserve Bank, McDonald's, Pepsi,  Starbucks, and Verizon. Chaundra is the Principal Consultant of  Monarch Productions, LLC, a boutique consulting firm that provides coaching and consulting sessions, workshops, and speaking engagements for individuals and businesses. Known as “The Humor Consultant”, Chaundra is an enthusiastic and resourceful communicator. The Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships & Planning for the 4th Annual Black Women in Comedy Festival, Chaundra is also the producer of the BFF (Beautiful, Fabulous, and Funny) Comedy Show,  a monthly comedy residency that donates partial proceeds to the designated benefactor, TechCore2, a Philadelphia based STEM program whose mission is to empower youth through tech industry training to build confidence and to pursue a technology career path.  She is often sought out to facilitate presentations and host events. Vladimir Caamano and Hollie Harper visit Friends and discuss what it means to have Queen behavior in tense moments and more with host Marina Franklin. Vladimir Caamano - With the name “Vladimir,” few people expect a Dominican from The Bronx to take the stage. His comedic style is the fruit of an immigrant Dominican family living in the cultural mecca that is New York City and is described as an elegant combination of urban grit and intellect. He began polishing his wit in the concrete jungles of The Bronx and Washington Heights and after graduating from Wesleyan University launched into Stand Up Comedy. After his stand out performance at Just for Laughs (JFL) in 2015, Vlad entered into a put pilot development deal to co-write, and star in a pilot based off of his comedy for NBC with Bill Lawrence and WB supervising. Vlad co-wrote the script with UNDATEABLE writer, Adam Styzikiel and recently shot the pilot directed by Phill Lewis. Vlad was the only one of his New Faces class to be chosen to perform as part of the CW Gala hosted by Howie Mandel. In 2016, Vlad was named one of the Top 10 Comics to Watch by Variety and was honored at JFL. In 2017 Vlad made his late-night standup debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and performed again at the prestigious Just for Laughs Gala hosted by Lilly Singh. Jessica Kirson is a powerhouse comedian known for her silliness, vulnerability, and ridiculous characters. Jessica recently produced FX's Hysterical, a feature-length documentary that explores the changing landscape of women in stand-up comedy. Erica Watson is an actor, stand-up comedian at clubs around the country, and film/television/theater director.  She was born and raised in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, and received a BA and MA from Columbia College Chicago. She currently hosts a dating podcast called "Get in The Game" and stars in the short film “BlacKorea”. Hollie Harper is a comedian/actress/writer from Cape May, New Jersey. She’s a co-host of the nationally trending Twitter Storytelling Chat “BlerdDating”. Her popular sketch comedy show AMERICAN CANDY has played the Comic Strip, Gotham Comedy Club, BAM Café as well as the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival. In January of 2018 Time Out Chicago listed them as one of the 5 sketch groups to watch. Team CANDY is currently shooting a pilot of the show and their informal residency at The Greene Space has them back Sept. 28th. As a standup comedian, she taped her first half hour special last spring that will be on Amazon Prime this winter. And she’s proud to be a festival coordinator for 2020's Black Women in Comedy Festival. Sarah Cooper is a comedian, speaker, and author of bestselling books "How to Be Successful Without Hurting Men’s Feelings" and "100 Tricks to Appear Smart in Meetings". She did not mean to make her book titles rhyme. Sarah co-hosts monthly standup comedy show "You’re So Brave" in NYC and performs and speaks around the world. She built her comedy career in between working for companies like Yahoo! and Google, where she was fed free lunches and lots of material. Judith Fiona Joseph, M.D., M.B.A, is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, with additional expertise in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Family Therapy, in New York City.  Dr. Judith helps people from all stages of development including childhood, adolescence, and adulthood in a collaborative treatment to identify and achieve individual and family goals.
