House of the Dragon 3x1: Zwei Jahre warten für Folge 9? - Episodenrecap Vor mittlerweile zwei Jahren endete Staffel 2 von „House of the Dragon“ mit einem Finale, das diese Bezeichnung bloß bedingt verdiente und viele Fans eher ratlos bis ernüchtert zurückließ. So fällt nun also dem Auftakt von Staffel 3 nicht nur die Aufgabe zu, das Publikum erneut nach Westeros zu entführen, sondern auch die Enttäuschung von damals direkt vergessen zu machen. Und tatsächlich lassen sich Showrunner Ryan Condal und Regie-Rückkehrer Loni Peristere keineswegs lumpen und präsentieren bereits jetzt die lange aufgebaute, groß angekündigte und aufwendig inszenierte Seeschlacht auf der Gurgel. Doch während „House of the Dragon“ hierbei gleich mehreren GoT-Traditionen auf einmal bricht, verschleppt die Serie mit dem verspäteten Klimax auch ein paar Kinderkrankheiten, die bereits Staffel 2 plagten.
