The new album, Death Mask, is out soon.As a DJ, Richard Fearless has remained a crucial figure throughout. A resident at the Heavenly Social in that late 90s era, he has more recently been running the 'Goo' parties with Daniel Avery in London and across the world. In this conversation we cover Richard's leadup to the point of breaking through with debut single 'Opium Shuffle', growing up in apartheid-era Africa, as well as the classic period of hedonism at clubs like Turnmills and across the world. And we also get the positive case for dance music in 2025. Ever wondered what it takes to bring an overgrown and forgotten cemetery back to life? Rachel Meyer and Josh Gerloff from Epoch Preservation (@epochpreservation) join us to share their incredible journey of transforming neglected burial grounds into beautifully maintained historical sites. Starting with Rachel's groundbreaking research, they moved on to tackling an overgrown cemetery in Gloucester using everything from scythes to goats. Along the way, they discovered the rich history behind their business name "Epoch," which, despite its pronunciation challenges, holds deep historical significance. We also dive into the meticulous art of gravestone conservation, discussing the challenges of maintaining these historic sites in the face of climate change and other environmental factors. Rachel and Josh talk about their favorite gravestone iconography and the intriguing details left by unidentified carvers. They also highlight alternative pathways into the field, emphasizing the value of hands-on experience and community connections over expensive formal education. Their personal anecdotes add a touch of humor and humanity to this specialized field. What would you want your gravestone to look like? We get creative and a bit whimsical in a segment dedicated to envisioning our own unique gravestone designs—from holographic markers to animatronic weeping angels. The conversation then shifts to the eerie allure of death masks and safety coffins, wrapping up with the poignant story behind the face of CPR dummies. Rachel and Josh's passion for their work shines through, offering a fascinating blend of historical insights, personal stories, and a dash of humor. In this episode, we uncover the dark history behind Madame Tussaud's wax museum, from its gruesome origins during the French Revolution to its modern-day impact on celebrity worship.Plus, we touch on some recent news updates, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s tweet about five states suing Pfizer for concealing the dangers of their vaccine. This episode is not for the faint of heart but is a must-listen for anyone interested in the hidden truths behind these topics.
In the finale of Matt's Crispo saga, we see drug paranoia mixed with the heights of access, sycophantic sadists and power play into cruel sexual fantasies that lead to a dark crime that bears little justice and darker implications for society as a whole. Plus Joe Kaye!

(Timestamps below description!) Hello, Airheads! This week we have stupendously pleasant show for you! After making their apologies for jumping the gun on the Kate Middleton conspiracy theories, Lord Trae and Professor CHO spend a spot of time discussing old superstitions, one of which is the fear (amongst Korean Papaws) that a ceiling fan will steal your soul! Lord Trae then shares a photograph he saw earlier this week of Her Royal Highness Queen Victoria Photobombing her Son and Daughter in Law at their Royal wedding... theres more to that story, but we shant give it away here! This leads Professor CHO into his topic which was an exploration of the origins of the famous Hollywood Wax Museum: Madame Tussauds! Closing out the show, Lord Trae brings to our attention a not-so-quite-as-known-Dictator, the former President (and still current Dear Leader) of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow! A Canadian soldier journeys to England in response to an advertisement seeking the heir to his ancestral home Quinton Court. On visiting his cousin, a strange and invalid antiquarian, he uncovers dark secrets and begins to question whether he should accept the mantle of…the next heir. This original recording is an audio presentation by Jasper L'Estrange for EnCrypted Horror. “The Next Heir” by H. D. Everett (1920). You can hear me discuss this story by becoming a channel member and listening to episode 16 of The EnCrypted Postmortem (uploaded soon). CREATOR'S NOTE: These recordings contain sound effects and music because that's what I like to make and listen to. As you will see from the comments, a lot of the listeners also like it. If it's not your thing, please feel free to listen to the many other narrators who are voice-only. I'm sure they'll be glad to hear from you. I do accents and voices to help distinguish between characters. Again, if that's not your thing, look elsewhere. If you think my Canadian sounds like he comes from the wrong part of the world, please remember I'm a hobbyist, not Michael Sheen. If you want to complain about my microphone and production quality, links are below for you to send me money to invest in better equipment. Cheers!

Farleigh Hungerford Castle, once a symbol of chivalric might, conceals within its shattered walls a tapestry of gruesome events and tragic tales. Picture a castle built in 1380, its turrets standing proud under the stewardship of Sir Thomas Hungerford, the First Speaker of the House of Commons. But as the Wars of the Roses unfolded, disaster struck the Hungerford family, and the castle passed through the hands of kings and traitors alike. It witnessed a Lady imprisoned in the eerie Lady Tower, accused of unspeakable crimes, and a Lord beheaded for treachery and sorcery. Anthropoid Coffins In the crypt beneath the marvellous castle chapel are eight sinister-looking lead caskets. Known technically as anthropoid coffins, they contain the remains of Sir Edward Hungerford III (d.1648) and the family of his successor, Sir Edward Hungerford IV (the ‘Spendthrift'), who had to sell Farleigh in 1686. These coffins contain embalmed bodies, pickled in spirit, and their body-shaped forms enabled the physical remains to be kept together after death, and preserved intact, ready for resurrection at the sounding of the Last Trumpet. In this episode, you will be able to: 1. Examine the history of the castle. 2. Discover some of the dark history, ghosts and macabre practices associated with the castle.
