SummaryIn this week's episode of The Chasing Health Podcast, Chase and Chris dive into a more freestyle “Coaches Roundtable” chat. They share powerful stories from clients, tackle common struggles like setbacks and injuries, and explore the truth behind staying consistent, even when life throws a curveball. They also get real about controversial health topics, like the use of artificial sweeteners, and that old phrase, “If I can do it, anyone can do it.” This one's all about shifting your mindset, living in the gray area, and doing what works for you.Chapters(00:00) Mindset Shift: Controlling What You Can(02:00) The All-or-Nothing Trap vs. Doing Something(03:30) The Mountain Analogy: Keep Climbing Through Setbacks(06:30) What Actually Stops Your Progress?(07:40) Using Coaching as Your Personal GPS(08:40) Coaching Without Calorie Tracking: Learning Intuition(11:30) Coaching as Guardrails, Not Just a Map(12:00) Artificial Sweeteners: Are They Really “Bad”?(14:00) Health Trade-Offs & Context Over Perfection(17:30) Moderation and Quality of Life(18:30) "If I Can Do It, Anyone Can Do It" – Helpful or Harmful?(21:30) Wrapping Up + Summer ExcitementSUBMIT YOUR QUESTIONS to be answered on the show: https://forms.gle/B6bpTBDYnDcbUkeD7How to Connect with Us:Chase's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/changing_chase/Chris' Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/conquer_fitness2021/Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/665770984678334/Interested in 1:1 Coaching: https://conquerfitnessandnutrition.com/1on1-coachingJoin The Fit Fam Collective: https://conquerfitnessandnutrition.com/fit-fam-collective

Do you want something in your life?  Well, then go make it happen.  Get up, get out, start making a plan, doing research, taking accountability for your non-doing, your own actions, your own choices.. HOW YOU SHOW UP IN THE WORLD.  You want something, well, then start MAKING SOME ACTION. Get of your phone, your screen, your couch.  Stop distracting yourself with shiny unicorns.  Get real. Be honest with yourself.  WHAT IS WITHIN YOUR POWER TO CHANGE IS YOU AND YOUR OWN THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS.  You don't want to attract and get from "poor me" attitude. It's not poor you. You are capable, YOU ARE! Just freaking start.  DOING SOMETHING.... AnYtHiNg that will take you closer to where you want to be. Probably more confident in one way or the other. Well, how do you build that confidence within YOU?  Find a coach, take a class, go dancing, read a book on the topic, go for a walk, write, ask people for their insights and knowledge (not for them to do the work and rescue you... Again, not very sexy...)  I know you can. We all can.  And now is the time. The best time of them all. Cut the crap. The excuses and bullshit. YOU CAN, if you really want to. General Theme for the Week: The Christian Message is Relevant Today's Lesson: God is Doing Something! On this edition of One Single Story, Pastors Stephen Mizell and Alyssa Bream discuss the following questions: Again, so often we read this text during the season of Christmas and miss the insights that can come from reflecting on the passage's deeper meanings. what do you think it was like to recognize that God was suddenly doing something radical to move along His plan for mankind? Jesus was not just a historical character, this was God in the flesh! What does that incredible truth mean to you? Why is it important that we emphasize that the coming of Jesus meant that men should repent, be baptized, and live right? Is that message still relevant for today? The reading for the day is Luke 3.

Welcome to The Nonlinear Library, where we use Text-to-Speech software to convert the best writing from the Rationalist and EA communities into audio. This is: Humming is not a free $100 bill, published by Elizabeth on June 6, 2024 on LessWrong. Last month I posted about humming as a cheap and convenient way to flood your nose with nitric oxide (NO), a known antiviral. Alas, the economists were right, and the benefits were much smaller than I estimated. The post contained one obvious error and one complication. Both were caught by Thomas Kwa, for which he has my gratitude. When he initially pointed out the error I awarded him a $50 bounty; now that the implications are confirmed I've upped that to $250. In two weeks an additional $750 will go to either him or to whoever provides new evidence that causes me to retract my retraction. Humming produces much less nitric oxide than Enovid I found the dosage of NO in Enovid in a trial registration. Unfortunately I misread the dose- what I original read as "0.11ppm NO/hour" was in fact "0.11ppm NO*hour". I spent a while puzzling out what this meant, with the help of Thomas Kwa, some guy on twitter, and chatGPT (the first time it's been genuinely useful to me). My new interpretation is that this means "actual concentration upon application*1 hour/time at that concentration". Since NO is a transient molecule, this means my guess for the amount of NO in Enovid was off by 2-3 orders of magnitude. My estimates for the amount of NO released by humming may also be too high. I used this paper's numbers for baseline NO concentration. However the paper I used to estimate the increase gave its own baseline number, which was an order of magnitude lower than the first paper. This wasn't intentional cherrypicking- I'd seen "15-20x increase in concentration" cited widely and often without sources. I searched for and spotchecked that one source but mostly to look at the experimental design. When I was ready to do math I used its increase but separately looked up the baseline concentration, and found the paper I cited. I just asked google again and got an even higher estimate of baseline nasal concentration, so seems like there is a great deal of disagreement here. If this were the only error I'd spend the time to get a more accurate estimate. But it looks like even the highest estimate will be a fraction of Enovid's dose, so it's not worth the energy to track down. Using the new values, you'd need 28 minutes of humming to recreate the amount of NO in Enovid (spreadsheet here). That wouldn't be so bad spread out over 4-6 hours, except that multiple breaths of humming in a row face diminishing returns, with recovery to baseline taking 3 minutes. It is possible to achieve this in 6 hours, but only just. And while it's not consequential enough to bother to look it up, I think some of the papers applied Enovid more often than that. This leaves humming in search of a use case. People who care a lot about respiratory illnesses are better off using Enovid or another nasal spray. People who don't care very much are never going to carefully pace their humming; and the amount of humming they might do won't be very effective. The only use case I see is people who care a lot and are pushed into a high risk situation without notice, or who want a feeling of of Doing Something even if it is not doing very much at all. Reasons to not write off humming entirely The math above assumes the effect is linear with the amount of NO released, regardless of application time. My guess is that frequent lower doses are more effective than the same amount as a one off. Probably not one effective enough to give humming a good non-emergency use case though. Another possibility is that Enovid has more nitric oxide than necessary and most of it is wasted. But again, it would have to be a lot moreto make this viable. Conclusions Humming hasn't been disproven as an anti-viral intervention, but the primary reason I believed it worke...

"Hello, all. I'd like to get a discussion going regarding that parallels the release of the PP book. I have been itching with anticipation for its completion since there was first talk of it years ago. I am overly thrilled that it is finally here! I've been raving about it to all of my mama friends. I am a donor and therefore have had access to the book since Stefan started sharing it last October. Yet, I started listening to it and stopped somewhere around chapter four. I wasn't angry or overwhelmed with grief or otherwise emotionally incapacitated. I stopped, thinking it was so juicy, so good, that I needed to take my time and savor it. I didn't want to rush my consumption in greed letting the information spill over, lost, deep within my memory. This seems reasonable in my mind. I wanted to slow down and absorb the book instead of letting it pass through me like an entertaining novel. But I STOPPED at chapter four - just stopped -without realizing I'd done it until today, months after. So, when it dawned on me, I realized that I have a history of doing this, going back decades. I get very excited about a particular book. I elevate it to the highest value, begin reading it, and inexplicably stop, leaving it unfinished with every intention of finishing it later. I have read dozens, maybe hundreds, of inconsequential books cover to cover, but there are four that were "so important" that I never finished them. I want to get to the bottom of it. Does anyone share this enigmatic habit? I'd appreciate any feedback you guys can provide. Maybe someone has already walked this path and has some insight. Please and thank you.""Hi Stef, my 2 sons came home highly disturbed yesterday. They go to the local park everyday which contains a pond and a river in which they enjoy meeting with their friends, fishing, catching turtles and frogs, and playing sports etc. one of the kids within my son's friend group was using a live frog as a writing utensil. Using it to draw on a wall. As well as throwing it against the concrete, kicking it etc. He was horrified at the extreme level of abuse and when he questioned this kid his response was who cares it's just a frog. I suggested to him to stay away from him as he seems to be highly troubled. But my son didn't know how to handle it as this kid also falls within “the group” and staying away from him would also mean isolating himself from the rest of the kids. Any suggestions as to how to how to handle the social dynamics of this situation?""Stef the following question is more about me providing you feedback to a question you asked in your response to my question about how an elephant man would find a virtuous wife. You asked why I was asking the question if I wasn't an elephant man and such circumstances didn't apply to me or anyone I know of personally. I think I can understand why you would ask me that question Stef when your philosophy generally deals with less abstract or hypothetical issues, indeed you have arguably taken on a role as a therapist to many people who ask you questions which I give you tremendous praise for addressing. Whilst elephant men are certainly extremely rare, my question wasn't necessarily abstract, the elephant man was just the extreme end of the spectrum to illustrate a point. You can gradually dial the curtains back a bit and reveal many men who may not be elephant men but certainly are below average looking in looks and socio-economic status, you are aware I think Stef there is some sort of crisis going on whatever the cause, where young generations are having less relationships than ever. That said I think you largely answered my question Stef in that you said it is not a violation of UPB to date someone who is low value such as a prostitute if the prostitute is the best a man can get and sadly for the elephant man and even many other people who are not elephant men, a prostitute who is rejected by all the high value successful men may be the only option available to many of these men.""Hi Stef, I recall you talking in the past about people getting emotionally ‘stuck' in a certain age. I am currently 28 but for most of my life have felt like a 12 year old boy. I had an unpublished conversation with you 9 months ago, and almost immediately moved out of my parents house, and have since bought my own car and gained a lot of relationship/sexual experience where I previously had none (none!!). Thank you by the way, you helped me realize I needed to start panicking and actually DOING SOMETHING. Point being is that I feel as though I've mentally aged a good bit, and now feel like a rebellious teenager, although still not enough of a true rebel to confront my parents, although we don't speak. Still have not started therapy or journaling. I've realized this sounds more like a question I should be able to ask my father, 10 years ago. I guess my question is, is this normal? And what you're referring to with ‘mental age'? What would be the next steps to keep ‘aging'? I guess journaling and therapy. This also got me thinking about rites of passage which used to be commonplace in society but are now totally absent or delayed. I normally don't ask questions but this has been on my mind lately, hopefully something interesting you can extract. - saying that makes me think my feelings are false in some way and I still feel like that scared 12 year old. My parents never changed how they talked to me from that age on essentially, never talked about sex never talked about anything of substance ever. That comment about rites of passage looks so out of place. I wonder why I said that.""Hello Stefan. Im writing a short novel in where a young up an coming politician gets a real devils bargain. My idea with the story is that I want him, the politician, to face evil. Im thinking something like three envoys which represents different facets or aspects of the darkness in man. Do you have any suggestions or ideas of what these different facets could be? Little short this month but promise to donate at this months end. Thank you for everything.""Please explain how you define “philosophy” and “philosophical conversation”? . I'm new here —but much of the conversation especially with others seems psychological/historical. Unless I misunderstood."Join the PREMIUM philosophy community on the web for free!NOW AVAILABLE FOR SUBSCRIBERS: MY NEW BOOK 'PEACEFUL PARENTING' - AND THE INTERACTIVE PEACEFUL PARENTING AI AND AUDIOBOOK!Also get the Truth About the French Revolution, the interactive multi-lingual philosophy AI trained on thousands of hours of my material, private livestreams, premium call in shows, the 22 Part History of Philosophers series and much more!See you soon!https://freedomain.locals.com/support/promo/UPB2022

We talk about success.  What makes a film successful? How do we define it?  And what are any of us really chasing after? Also.  How does someone who's not a 19 year old model break into the industry.  No shade to 19 year old models, but how does an average looking adult start to think about building a career in the entertainment industry.  Ross weighs in.   Listen please.   Please.  We're desperate. I live on a working horse ranch. My wife boards, trains, and trims horses and has employees. Occasionally I have to help out with chores, or more often, fixing things. I was talking with a coworker recently and showing some pictures. He was asking why I do things like tap a bolt instead of hiring someone to do it. I caught this excerpt from a book on cooking, which got me thinking. I don't love the flow here, as it wanders between cooking, economics, politics, social justice, and more. However, the core ideas of specialization and taking on a task was what I got out of the piece. Read the rest of The Value of Doing Something

In case that's you, remember that it's probably a good idea to already begin to build some habits now, so that you'll already be in a better place by the time summer ends.Doing something (basic) is always better than doing nothing and then being worse off when you do want to start a diet :)TIMESTAMPS:0:00 Introduction7:37 Taking small steps now to get a head start13:55 Doing SOMETHING instead of going all-or-nothing20:29 What our clients do before starting a fat loss phase32:18 Outro**This episode is brought to you by Odyssey Coaching Systems and KA Nutrition** More from Talking Nutrition and Odyssey Coaching Systems

Welcome back to Make a Difference. We have been on a hiatus for quite a while and I have reached a point where I believe that I can return to the regular production of the podcast and keep up with the daily schedule. Today's quote from Napoleon Hill states: “Don't wait. The time will never be just right.” I think if represents the right frame of mind to start a newWe can always wait for the "right" time, however there really is no right time. The correct time to start something is when the idea is "hot" and you in the flow with your idea.If you want to hear more about being in the flow, check out the work of Mihaly Csikezentmihaly and his work on Being in the Flow. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mihaly_Csikszentmihalyi Consider what waiting for the right is really a defense mechanism that people employ to avoid actually getting to the work at hand. By putting it off, one does not need to get to the real work at hand; DOING SOMETHING!By putting it off the idea can fade along with impulse that lead you believe it was a good idea in the 1st place. These can allow other ideas to take their place and the ideas you had fades in to the past.As you look toward capturing ideas, I would encourage you to write it down while the idea is strong in your mind. I use Trello to capture my ideas where I can add additional notes and sort ideas at later date. This allows the idea to be captured and then focus on steps to move it forward. You can lean more about Trello in the show note link below.Let bring our ideas out of retirement. In episode 208. 30 Day Idea to Action Plan I challenged you to take action and this week is all about taking action, so listen and you challenge is not only to listen, but take action on what you've heard. It's the only way to Create the Life You Love. It's time to Grab Your Daily #DANEish. Wake up & be amaZing and Grab Your Daily #DANEish Your life depends on it. The average American is 20 pounds overweight, $10,000 in debt, slightly depressed, dislikes his or job and has less than 1 close friend. Even if only a fraction of this statistic is true, Americans need some serious waking up. Wake up call “The best six doctors anywhere and no one can deny it are sunshine, water, rest, air, exercise and diet.”- Wayne Fields One of the most important lessons I learned while serving on active duty in the United States Air Force is that in order to be successful and achieve anything you must show up. It's the simplest & most important secret to success you'll ever be taught. Just the simple act of doing. Leadership is essentially nothing more than swift & responsible decision-making that in turn creates consistent action. The research shows that often the most successful people are those that simply tried many different approaches until they found one that worked. As Mark Twain said: ‘80% of life is simply showing up'. People often look at business leaders & successful people and wonder how and why they are so successful – a large part of this is that they simply chose to take action. Instead of talking and thinking about what they could achieve “wouldn't it be great if…” they more often than not did something about it. So – what can you do today to take some action towards a goal? Choose something today and take action immediately! Don't get stalled by negative feelings of ‘fear' or ‘what ifs'. Don't worry if your idea is not 100% perfect – it never will be. Plus you can finesse it as you go. Remember to be open to different outcomes & to relax and enjoy the productivity of ‘DOING SOMETHING'! learn from your choices. Even if you don't get the result you want, you can learn from your experience. I guarantee you that by taking action and DOING SOMETHING (no matter how small) you will come out feeling positive, enthused and energized – so do it now! I'd love to hear how you've taken action today – why not share your experience by commenting on this post. Get Inspired "Dane is a life coach that truly cares about your success. Riding Shotgun With Charlie#158Rebecca SchmoeThe DC Project1 Million Moms Against Gun ControlCandidate-Kansas House of Representatives, District 59 This is how you know you've got good friends. On a DC Project events in DC, Amanda Suffecool (RSWC #009) was talking about me to other DCP gals. They were talking about who has gone Riding Shotgun and who hasn't. Then I get a text message “How come Rebecca hasn't been on the show?”. Then another with how come someone else hasn't been on the show. Fortunately, Rebecca and I were both at AMMcon in Dallas recently and we were able to borrow Amanda's ‘stagecoach' and film a show.  Rebecca Schmoe is no stranger to the 2A freedom fight. And she's not afraid to do something about it. She grew up around firearms with her father teaching and emphasizing firearm safety. She often had friends who would take her hunting, too. But once the ‘red shirts' (the Moms Demand crowd) started getting involved talking about what moms wanted for gun control, she started researching women and 2A groups. Rebecca didn't want the only female/mom voice to be an anti-gun voice. She was a mother raising her children while her husband worked nights and she was home alone with the children.  She ended up finding One Million Moms Against Gun Control (1MMAGC) and they eventually offered her to be the Kansas representative.  That's where she met Mary Schuster-Callison (RSWC #050). When the founder of 1MMAGC had to step away, Rebecca joined forces with Mary and co-leaders.  Mary also told Rebecca about The DC Project and Rebecca got involved there, too. For the last several years, she's been doing the DCP and all their events. She's been talking with legislators and politicians (the friendlies and the not so friendlies) from around the country for a decade!  Recently, she has decided to throw her hat into the political realm when an incumbent decided not to run and there was a hole left on the ballot.  For the last year or so, Rebecca has been running as a candidate for the Kansas House of Representatives! She won the primary earlier this year. She's got some great meme building skills (2A and campaign related). And she's been taking the campaign trail by storm.  Having never run before, she didn't know how much time and money it takes to run! She's fortunate to have a job that has given her some grace to be able to fight for our 2A rights, but also for running for office. What is going to be wonderful is when she invites the #TealFor2A shirts into her office in Topeka and takes them around.  We cover some mask stories, some family stories, but we spend time talking about what Rebecca has been doing to get elected. The signs, the mailers, it all takes money and donations. She tells us what some of the responsibilities state representatives do for their constituents.  Rebecca and I had a fun time filming the show. Every time I'm around her, there's fun, enjoyment, and education.  The motto of the DC Project is #DoingSomething.  For sure, Rebecca is Doing Something.   Favorite quotes:   “I'm their first line of defense. I'm their only line of defense.” “I was really offended by that side telling me that I was safer without a way to protect my family.” “We bring the other side of the mom-voice.” “Second Amendment people, by and large, are very independent.” “It really does make a difference, when we all show up in our teal shirts and there's 50+ ladies.” “I give them public applause when they do well and I scold them publicly when they do not.” “If it's not constitutional, then we have no business doing it.”   Rebecca Schmoe for Kansashttps://www.facebook.com/rebeccaschmoeforkansas/   Rebecca Schmoe for Kansashttps://www.instagram.com/rebecca_schmoe4ks   The DC Projecthttps://www.dcproject.info/   1 Million Moms Against Gun Control Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/1mmagc   1 Million Moms Against Gun Control Websitehttps://www.1mmagc.org/ Second Amendment Foundationhttp://saf.org/   Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Armshttps://www.ccrkba.org/ Please support the Riding Shotgun With Charlie sponsors and supporters.  Buy RSWC & GunGram shirts & hoodies, stickers & patches, and mugs at the store! http://ridingshotgunwithcharlie.com/rswc-shop/ Dennis McCurdyAuthor, Speaker, Firewalkerhttp://www.find-away.com/   Self Defense Radio Networkhttp://sdrn.us/

How do you feel when I say the word REST?    Does it feel impossible or offensive?    Does it trigger feelings of guilt and laziness?   Or does it sound like GOALS and something you are yearning for? …Maybe a little of all of it?   I remember when rest felt like a ‘4 letter word' to me and I would be EMBARRASSED to be seen not doing anything!    Even after having a baby, I would feel so insecure about lying down to nurse my baby for a fear that others were going to think I was a lazy mom.    However, the word “BUSY” ...now THAT carried some 'worthy weight' and made me feel like a better person.    I could throw that word around and feel proud that I was always DOING SOMETHING.    Well, God busted me big time on my habit of striving and feeling that I had to work for my worthiness. He brought to my attention how my identity was wrapped up in what I DID rather than Who I was and WHOSE I was.    I've come a LONG way and what I actually want to tell you today is how I've learned that REST is actually PRODUCTIVE.    Yes, you heard me right.  For a variety of reasons, you cannot afford NOT to rest if you're trying to reach your goals and move the needle in your business!   Today I'm going to tell you about how I was reminded recently about the power of pressing pause because taking time to SLOW down is necessary at times, so that you can speed up and get the WORK DONE.    I hope this quick conversations frees you up a little this summer to say YES, to that vacation or to that everyday moment to kick your feet up and RELAX!   Connect ~ www.NourishingMichelle.com/connect Email ~ Hello@nourishingmichelle.com IG ~ @NourishingMichelle  FB ~ www.Facebook.com/NourishingMichelle

Welcome back, friends. Remember when your dream was just your dream? When you could just sit back, close your eyes, and feel how good it felt to be all you could be. You could feel like your dream was so close to you you could both reach out and touch it and taste it at the same time. What happened to those dreams? Do you still have them? Do they still feel real? Or Did they fade away slowly, and now they are a distant memory? I hope not. Last year and this year has been hard on a lot of people. Maybe you became affected more than you care to admit. If not … good! But if you seem to have lost your vision, your drive, your motivation, let's see what can help get it back. We all suffer setbacks from time to time. There is no reason to let it derail all your dreams. Last week we talked about “dreamers dream doers do”. There, we discussed that having dreams is good and gives us a reason to do things. It is the DOING that really takes your dreams and transforms them into reality. I told you that dreams are just the starting point. Doing SOMETHING makes your dreams come to life and start taking shape. The more you and I do, the more our dreams transform from just those ideas we had and become the driving force that creates a future we can be proud of. Even in this COVID-19 world we live in, right now, we can still achieve great and awesome things, when we step outside our comfort zones. If you're still working a 9-5 job, you may feel like you can never give that up and start doing your own thing. I understand completely. Mark Driscoll pitts Christian theology against critical thinking… and comes out looking like a white supremacist. We are skipping “The Poor Revolutionist” for now, until we can get some other voices. The JSE brings us “A New Beginning.” I got a phone call from the JW's, because of the letter that I sent them! Skeptic Magazine tells us about an Appeal To Martyrdom. Pat Robertson is retiring!! Governor Bill Lee issues ANOTHER day for prayer and fasting… instead of DOING SOMETHING! 101 Questions tries to prove the validity of the Bible, because places exist, and they are listed in the book too. Hello My Friends! This is Episode 13 of The Essential Strength Podcast and our guest is Holly Myers.Holly is a coach and business owner based in Portland, Oregon. Along with her partner, Arryn, she owns Lift With Holly and Arryn - an online coaching business with the mission of Creating a Kinder Fitness Industry through Play, Awareness and Courage. The emphasis of their platform is coaching other coaches on how to get stronger and move more joyfully using barbells, kettlebells and other modalities. Much in the same was that The Essential Strength Podcast was born of a desire to illuminate the ways that people experience strength far beyond just it's physical expression, Holly's definition of strength goes far beyond muscles - into the realms of human potential, failure, resilience and integrity. We talk about Holly's own journey with strength training, and how it almost didn't happen due to common gender stereotypes and fears, the best and most challenging aspects of building a business with your life partner, the amazing potential of online training for community building, and even have time to explore Holly's love of cookies, ice cream, and how these things have actually worked their way into the coaching business.Links to organizations and books mentioned in today's episode:Charitable Causes:1. Decolonizing Fitness 2. The Loveland Foundation3. Action Against HungerBooks:1. Grit - By Angela DuckworthIn closing today - here is what I would like you to do, on behalf of myself and Holly - just practice being kind. If you want to practice a type of kindness that is fitness-specific try this - next time you're at the gym, and you catch yourself judging someone for the way they are exercising, for their form, or whatever it is that triggers those judgmental thoughts, consider if the roles were reversed. Anyone who is making the decision to go to the gym is actively taking steps to improve their health. Today might be their first day. They might honestly have NO IDEA what they are doing. But they are DOING SOMETHING for themselves, for their future, and your judgement has no place in their journey. If you can be of help, help. If you can support them, do it. Educate. Assist. Inspire. And BE KIND.Until next week, we wish you STRENGTH and GOOD HEALTH.FNX Fitness Supplements To Fuel Your Greatness - - Use code ESSENTIAL for 20% at check-outDisclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. THREE THINGS YOU MUST DO AFTER WRITING DOWN A GOAL TO ACTUALLY MAKE IT HAPPEN It is a new year! Have you set your goals? The truth is, TONS of people will set goals at the start of this year, yet a FRACTION actually accomplish them... why? Because all they did was declare a goal. The hard truth is: my two year old can "say" any goal that any of you can... so what will make the difference between you and him? DOING SOMETHING! I WANT you to achieve your goals SO bad. But you have to do something MORE. The version of you right now is NOT good enough to achieve those goals. You have to do something differently to get a different result. 1) Focus on the ACTION over the income. Most goals are just outcomes - which is great! But if you never focus on the action you need to take the outcome will never come. 2) Ask yourself what you need to START, STOP, and/or CONTINUE to make your goals happen. Action and change are required for your goals to happen, that means starting to do new things, which means you have to stop doing others, and even continue doing some things for consistency. 3) Change your MINDSET, HABITS, and ACTION. How can you remind yourself often about your goals? A mindset that is focused on goals is much closer to achieving them. Never expect your goal to be achieved by only doing something once, how can you do it regularly? How can you make it a habit? Remember it is all about taking the action you need to.
