Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney! This week, our news comes from Destination D23 in Orlando, which centered around the news of all of the things that will be opening in 2022, but with no exact dates. The Festival of Fantasy Parade and Fantasmic will be returning! Guardians of the Galaxy will open. The second Avengers Campus will be opening in Paris in the summer. And in a surprising twist, Disneyland will be getting Magic Bands! The news interestingly did not include an announcement that Tron will be opening in 2022, which makes us wonder if they'll save it until 2023. It's amazing all of the good food there is to be had at Disney if you only know where to find it! For example, did you know you can get chicken and donuts for dinner? How about a meatless crab cake sandwich? Neither did we! This week, since many of our American listeners are still probably eating leftovers from their Thanksgiving feasts, we decided to make the episode all about food. Using touringplans.com's food rankings for table service and quick service in every park, we discuss where are the best places to eat, where we love to eat, and where we're anxious to try on our next trip! Then we also highlight some food items from various menus that tickled our fancy. (That's a weird expression, isn't it? How does one tickle a fancy?) We hope you had an exceptional, and magic-filled week last week and an even better one this week! Check us out on Facebook and Youtube or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode or support us on Patreon.

D23 event releases new images of Disneyland Tower rooms At the Destination D23 event held at Walt Disney World today, Imagineer Bhavna Mistry and Disney Parks President Josh D'Amaro presented some additional concept art for the DVC Disneyland tower rooms and pool area. The rooms will be themed to the colors of Sleeping Beauty, while the pool will have the theme of an artist's palette. No further details on opening were provided, but the concept art did indicate a 2023 opening date was still the target. Older concept art and more details can also be found on the DVCHelp page for the resort, linked here. Source: WDWNT Disneyland and Disney World annual pass sales are restricted Bad news if you've been waiting to buy your annual pass. On Monday, November 22nd, Disney quietly removed sales of three of the four annual passes from their website. Only the $399 Pixie Dust pass for Florida residents and very limited is still available. DVC members are not allowed to buy passes either at this time. When the new pass program was rolled out, Disney indicated that pass sales could be suspended at any time, but this is the first time that it has occurred. It appears pass renewals are still an option for existing passes. Then on Wednesday, November 24th, Disneyland announced that the ”Believe” Magic Key was sold out, making the top two tiers at Disneyland unavailable. WDW Opinion Ep. 28 - Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Dining Review I will continue to say it for as long as this podcast is a thing, Disney World is a world unto itself. It’s like its own independent city and there are so many things outside of the parks that Disney World has to offer. Attractions aside the food you can indulge in is something that makes Disney World so unique. There are the popular choices like Be Our Guest, Ohana, Le Cellier, Cinderella’s Royal Table that people are dying to get to. And then there are locations that may be off the beaten path. One of our favorite restaurants on Disney property is Sanaa. It’s a fan favorite that is still considered an underappreciated place. On this episode we are going to give our review of and share why we love Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village. Plus we discuss the new themes revealed for the Skyliner Gondola system, Maleficent the Dragon makes her triumphant return to the Festival of Fantasy Parade and we give an interesting take on the quarterly Central Florida theme park injury report. Jingle Bell Jingle BAM show opens at Disney Hollywood Studios to rave reviews Runs until December 31st at Disney Hollywood Studios. This holiday show is on and around the Chinese Theater. The show runs pretty much every night during the holidays. There is also a holiday party for $59 per adult $39 per person which is a nice way to experience the Jingle Bell Jingle BAM show. We will be going to the Jingle Bell Jingle BAM show in a few days and will let you know what we think. Early reports are that the show is wonderful. Avatar Land Opening Summer 2017 Yes, Avatar is almost here! Avatar opens in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park in the Summer of 2017. There are two E ticket rides. The flight of passage is a 3d ride that allows you to ride a banshee. There is also a river ride that sounds perfect for families that lets you explore the world of Avatar. Avatar will really make Animal Kingdom a nice park for the evening and night time. There are is also a new restaurant, Satu’li Canteen, which is the main dining establishment for Pandora and new shops too. Update River of Light cast member previews are happening now! So will River of Light be opening soon to the public? New Magicbands are here Disney World has new Magicbands that look more like a watch in size and style. The new Magicbands have an icon or puck in the center that can be removed with a small screwdriver. The new design allows you to use the Magicband like a fitbit. So you can use the icon FRID part in a key chain, a purse hanger, a clip, etc. This opens the possibilities of the Magicbands to wear them many different ways. Disney World adds cabanas to the Magic Kingdom You can rent a cabana at Walt Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom for the day. The Magic Kingdom Cabanas are located in Tomorrow Land and have modern furnishings inside put the outsides are white temporary party tents that you might se at an outdoor wedding. The Disney cabanas really do not fit into the Tomorrow Land theme and I hope are a test run. Please listen to our Mouse Chat podcast for what's included in the Cabana rental and the cost. You do get a bunch of nice extras when renting a cabana. Our feelings are mixed on these cabanas. I'm sure time will tell if these are going to stay or not. Epcot will host a new festival in January 2017 - International Festival of the Arts. The festival is Jan 13 - Feb. 20, 2017 on Friday - Mondays - six weekends only. This festival celebrates the arts. There will be concerts, plays, art and more. The Festival of the Masters at Disney Springs is no longer happening so this appears to be a more in-dept replacement now at EPCOT. Tiana's Riverboat Party starts at the Magic Kingdom. This riverboat party / ice cream social is $49 for adults and $29 for kids. You arrive at the riverboat in Liberty Square 45 minutes before the parade for an ice cream party. You get to watch the Festival of Fantasy Parade from the riverboat. You also get to go to Tom Sawyers Island with Tiana. This is brand new and we have not done this experience so please post your comments here and on our Mouse Chat facebook page. The Muppets are coming, the Muppets are coming… This past October (2016) saw the debut of “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History” at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom. The show takes place daily at the Magic Kingdom in Liberty Square, near the Hall of Presidents. The approximately 10 minute long live show has multiple versions, currently “The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere” and “The Signing of the Declaration of Independence”. Multiple versions of the show provide some re-watchability and provide room for additional versions of the show. These shows rotate with multiple show times daily. Show times typically start at 9:30am and are scheduled multiple times with the last around 1:50. The 1:50 show is typically the last before the Festival of Fantasy Parade which starts at 3:00. Check your times guide, there may be one last show after the parade. Be sure to check out the full video at www.samsdisneydiary.com and in the bonus section of the app,

DIZNEY COAST TO COAST - The Ultimate Unofficial Disney Fan Podcast
Disney fans rejoice for the very first episode of the podcast for all Disney fanatics, "Dizney Coast to Coast". In this episode co-hosts Jeff DePaoli & Patrick Dougall discuss what they're excited about from The Walt Disney Company for the year 2014. Topics include the movies "Maleficent" & "Into the Woods" as well as The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, The Festival of Fantasy Parade, "Aladdin" the Broadway Musical and much much more.
"Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world." – Walt Disney That famous quote holds true not only at Disneyland, but at every Disney Park around the globe. With all of the recent changes in Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom, I was recently able to do something not possible just a few short months ago. Sure I experienced the all new “Festival of Fantasy Parade” at Magic Kingdom but more interesting, I experienced it with a reserved viewing location via FastPass+. I love the parade, and I love FastPass+. Now remember, I’m not Media. I have no special access. I’m just a fan like all of you, so my best bet to get a good spot for the parade? Jambeaux, everyone!!! Welcome to another episode of the Magic Our Way podcast. We appreciate you listening to our show and we hope it brings a smile to your face. Factoid of the day: Walt Disney himself is not cryogenically frozen. We bring you another traditional MOW show this week. In the Queue. we cover the following news stories: Disney video games Frozen and the Academy Awards Disney Animation versus Pixar Festival of Fantasy Parade launch and much, much more! In the Hub, we introduce our first compare and contrast show. During Mardi Gras week of 2014, Kevin had the opportunity to take a 5 day cruise on the Carnival Triumph. This was his first experience on a Carnival “funship” and this was his second experience on a cruise ever. The first time he was on a cruise ship was during his honeymoon with the Disney Cruise Line aboard this Disney Wonder (and there were only two Disney ships back then, boys and girls, the other being the Magic). And, it just so happens that the Disney Wonder was in port in Cozumel at the same time the Carnival Triumph was in Cozumel. Kevin compares his two experiences: the Disney Wonder back in 2007 and the Carnival Triumph in 2014. He had wonderful times with both companies. He is not endorsed by Disney or Carnival. This is just a friendly comparison between a veteran cruise ship company (Carnival Cruise Lines est. 1972) and the relatively new kid on the block (Disney Cruise Line est. 1994). If you remember, back before the Disney Cruise Line came into existence, Disney characters could be found on Premier Cruise Line’s Big Red Boat.
