Even though Chris's father pushed him to keep up and never let him make excuses, Chris still struggled with the stigma of blindness. But when Chris felt his most hopeless, God brought Michelle, who would later become his wife, into his life and through her encouragement, Chris found his true joy in the Lord. After years of fighting his ever-increasing vision loss, Chris finally embraced the assistive technology out there for blind individuals. A part of this assistive technology came in the form of the Big Green Egg grill.
