EPISODE 66 - “WHEN CLASSIC FILM'S SUPPORTING ACTORS STEAL THE SHOW” - 12/16/2024 There is nothing quite like watching a film when suddenly a supporting character comes in and walks away with the film. (Think THELMA RITTER, S.Z. SAKALL, or GALE SONDERGAARD in almost every one of their films!) This week we are focusing on some of our favorite supporting charters who come in and snatch that scene right about from under the big stars. From JOANNA BARNES' Gloria Upson declaring, “It was just ghastly!” in “Auntie Mame” to the impassioned monologue about love that BEAH RICHARDS delivers to SPENCER TRACY in “Guess Who's Coming To Dinner,” we take a fun look at these powerful performances that we're still talking about today. Episode #21. Enregistré le 4 septembre 2024. (English version below) Invitée : Emilie Souvras (ex-Global Brand General Manager de Roxy - Product Hub Director Boardriders) Impossible d'évoquer les récentes années Boardriders sans mentionner Emilie Souvras. /// English Guest: Emilie Souvras (former Global Brand General Manager de Roxy - Product Hub Director Boardriders) You simply can't have a conversation about the last few years at Boardriders without mentioning the name Emily Souvras. After joining the group in 2014 in products, Emily rose the corporate ladder step by step to eventually reach the position of Global Brand General Manager for Roxy - in short, the biggest key position for the brand. As she is now starting to write a new page in her career at Boardriders, we thought the timing was perfect to sit down and have a chat. Enjoy the ride.

In their latest update Sarah and Miriam reflect on the power of waves as they squeeze themselves into neoprene suits down in Cornwall ready for a bit of body-boarding. There has been a swell of activity over the last few weeks from both the Women in Pharma and others championing the need to close the women's health gap and improve the health of everyone by adopting a gendered lens in health and medicine. Miriam Kenrick and Sarah Sowerby have shared #beyondbikinimedicine with numerous groups including the PM Society's DE&I group, the Deep End NHS group, and Paul Simms' Impatient Health Pharmageddon event. It never fails to surprise us how all of this seems so new to people and yet so obvious when we point it out – hidden in plain sight. Sarah Sowerby and Elena Mills from The Salve hosted our latest webinar highlighting the need to tune into our hormonal waves to understand why asthma is worse for women with Dr Sam Walker from Asthma and Lung UK – you can watch the recording here - https://youtu.be/RK04XA1bdMU Also making waves recently was NHS health economist Bridget Gorman with her report on women's health services in England. She and her team concluded that for every £1 invested in obs and gynae there would be a ROI of £11 for every female. When you consider that the UK has the largest women's health gap of all the G20 countries and the 12th largest globally the value that this would unlock is immense. Loving too the fantastic leadership of AT Kearney's Paula Bellostas Muguerza with their [w] Health community who all met last week in London. Men and women from across the healthcare spectrum shared perspectives and listened to the inspiring Dame Lesley Regan who is certainly not afraid to make waves as she champions the Women's Health Strategy for England and the fantastic womens' health hub model. Great to feel the momentum building and for so much interest and support from so many. Let's make waves together!

Pastor Roger is walking us through Galatians 2:1-10 in this week's sermon.
Back when it was launched in 2020, Bajaj Finsev Health had a clear plan: it wanted to provide a complete healthcare package to its consumers. And it did that by happily playing a supporting role in India's booming healthcare industry. Here's what Bajaj Finserv Health does. It is essentially a health management platform. So it facilitates things like doctor consultations and health checkups to its 400-odd corporate clients. Simple enough. But four years later, the company's vision has evolved. They want to take things to the next level. It's clearly sick of playing a supporting role. So it has decided to step into the spotlight. The first step was to acquire 22-year-old Vidal Healthcare, which is a third party administrator.Tune in.
