Property taxes is a point of contention, as are sales taxes. Property insurance rates continue to rise, and some insurance companies have abandoned Florida markets. She wrote her dissertation on John Dewey, and has continued to work on political and moral implications, roles, responsibilities of education in and for democracy.We discuss evil, particularly how it permeates society, and how politicians and others use it for their goals. Increasingly, we note that evil is normalized, and the process by which it happens. I first started listening to her music with her debut album, “In Between” in which she presents a unique approach to the harmonica and all her albums feature her original music which is inspired by the European jazz tradition and the Middle-Eastern world. Ariel began playing the chromatic harmonica at the age of 7 and since then it's been her primary instrument.  We're including music from several of her albums. As chair of the Diocese's Companion Diocese Committee and later the Global Mission Commission's chair, Yvonne fostered international mission outreach connections in congregations. She has traveled internationally, especially in Africa and India, to strengthen bonds among congregations and help develop anti-poverty programs. Yvonne was awarded the Society of Financial Service Professionals' Paul S. Mills Scholarship, recognizing her lifelong commitment to education, voluntarism and ethics. I'm in a law class at Pepperdine, studying for my MBA. In our first assignment, we're supposed to take this unbelievable amount of text and turn it into an outline using a very specific structure and methodology. I'm thinking, “Why do we need to outline? I just read all of this text and highlighted certain sections of it in detail. It's fine. Plus, It seems like a waste of time. And aren't all outlines the same anyway? Why is structure so important?”  I begrudgingly do the assignment and turn it in.  Then we get our next assignment… more outlining! Next assignment? Alas more outlining again!  By the middle of the semester, something dawns on me: I start to realize that I'm looking at paragraphs of text completely differently. I can pinpoint what matters most even faster.  At the end of the semester… I am an outlining Ninja.  This skill that I learned in my Graduate Studies has turned out to be a tool that I use to this very day.  Every time I read any block of text I can't help but condense it down to its most essential elements which has definitely helped influence my path of specializing and Short Form Communications. I love to take complex things and condense them down to their most essential elements, especially in storytelling.  The elements we use in stories really matter–to the listener, to the memories we can create in the minds of our listener, and to the integrity of the story. Michael Stinson has an incredible career exploring and teaching the cinematic art of storytelling, in addition to many other forms. Yevgeny Prigozhin, who led a failed mutiny against Vladimir Putin, was on a plane that crashed in western Russia, according to aviation officials. Authorities say all 10 people on board were killed after the private aircraft came down near the village of Kuzhenkino. Russian authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash, amid heavy speculation. She was always asked to teach and or share her talents for Hair Sprinkles and by 2018 she did just that. By creating a certificate program she's certified over 2 dozen other small business owners, stylists & creatives in the first 2 years of the workshop, was recognized by WEDC as an innovative business and began working with the Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum as an arts facilitator.    In 2023 She creative directed her 2nd museum activation, this time with The Academy Museum in Los Angeles, CA to launch their “Regeneration Summit” exhibition. ACTA's president Michael Poliakoff interviews John Agresto, author of The Death of Learning, published last year by Encounter Press. Agresto is a graduate of Boston College and holds a PhD in Government from Cornell University.  Before becoming President of St. John's College in 1989, he taught at the University of Toronto, Kenyon College, Duke University, Wabash College and the New School University. He also served as acting chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities in the 1980's and went to Iraq in 2003 as senior advisor for higher education for the new Iraqi Government.  Between 2006 and 2010 he served, variously, as trustee, president, chancellor, provost and dean at the American University of Iraq in the Kurdish region.  After returning from Iraq, Agresto was appointed member and chair of the New Mexico Advisory Committee on Civil Rights (2010-2018) followed by his appointment as Probate Court Judge in Santa Fe, NM. He currently serves on the board of the Jack Miller Center.

That is equated with disloyalty…This story about Capitalism being wonderful. This story is fading. You can't do that anymore. The Right Wing cannot rally its troops around Capitalism. That's why it doesn't do it anymore. It rallies the troops around being hateful towards immigrants. It rallies the troops around “fake elections”, around the right to buy a gun, around White Supremacists. Those issues can get some support, but “Let's get together for Capitalism!” That is bad.
