Did you know that host Travis Shelton recently had a midlife crisis? Well, that's what most people would call it, anyway. In the Meaning Over Money world, we simply calling it living for the meaning, not for the money. In today's episode, on the one-year anniversary of Travis purchasing an 18-year-old Nissan 350Z, Travis discusses the costs, benefits, and overall takeaways. In short, it's pretty freaking awesome! If you have questions or would like to connect with us outside of the podcast, here's where you can find us: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/meaning_over_moneyTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@meaning_over_moneyDaily Blog: https://travisshelton.com/blog Subscribe to the daily blog: https://shorturl.at/ipS35 Podcast Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/370457478238932 Podcast website: https://www.travisshelton.com/podcast Travis's Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/travis_shelton_ YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCasnj17-bOl_CZ0Cb9czmyQ

¿No me crees? ¡aprovecha! La tercera, gracias a SPOTICAR por apoyarnos.

The Nissan Z is one of the most important cars in the company's history. It might not be its best seller, but Nissan's Z-cars helped put the company on the map over half a century ago. Most recently, the Nissan 350Z and 370Z offered affordable fun performance for over two decades. Trying to build on that success and keep the Z-name alive in a market dominated by crossover SUVs, Nissan brought its Z back without a numerical prefix. Now just named Z, Nissan stuffed a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 under the hood that's good for 400 hp. Naturally, the Nismo version cranks the performance up a notch and offers more power and a revised suspension. However, this extra power comes with a price hike and no manual transmission. On this episode of Quick Spin, Autoweek's West Coast editor Mark Vaughn hops behind the wheel of the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo and puts it through its paces. Vaughn takes you on a tour of the '24 Nissan Z Nismo and highlights some of his favorite features. Later, Vaughn takes you along for a live drive review. Host Wesley Wren chats with Vaughn about the Nissan Z and the lack of a manual transmission. The pair also look at the Nissan Z's competition and price. Closing the show, the pair break down what makes the Nissan Z special.

No matter how you feel about electric vehicles, there's no denying the incredible performance that can be achieved with these impressive driveline systems.  With more and more rapid EVs hitting the streets every day, inevitably, enthusiasts are now beginning to ask just what can be gained when working with them. This week's HPA Tuned In podcast guest is Sasha Anis of Mountain Pass Performance, someone who has dived deeper than most into the world of high-performance EVs.Use 'SASHA100'  to get $100 OFF HPA's Wiring Starter Package: hpacademy.com/hpa-wiring-starter-package/ Sasha is an accomplished driver and tuner who has, in recent years, refocused his efforts into the EV world, and his insight into this fairly new and constantly changing field of hyper-performance is invaluable. In this episode, Sasha first breaks down the basics of how an EV system works, and spends time clearing up a few misconceptions around what is and isn't possible, the constant compromises that need to be made, and the future of EV tuning. MoTeC's M1 Build platform and how Sasha uses it in his EV builds is also discussed.More of this new breed of vehicle on the roads equals more people crashing them, and that means some seriously enticing drivelines have begun popping up at the local wreckers. Sasha was an early adopter of EV swap exercises, and takes us through the process of swapping these monster drivelines into conventional ICE vehicles, and details what needs to be considered, eliminated, and purchased before the first spanner is turned. Mountain Pass Performance's Blue Lightning — a Tesla-swapped Lotus Evora package — is also picked apart.Sasha also spends time discussing the braking and handling upgrade options he provides for Teslas, as well as a deep look at his well-known Nissan 350Z time attack car that uses a monster NA VQ engine working in tandem with a custom hybrid KERS system that Sasha has spent years developing and improving himself. It doesn't matter how you feel about electric vehicles, this conversation with Sasha Anis of Mountain Pass Performance is genuinely fascinating and well worth the listen.Follow Sasha here:IG: @sashaanis14, @mountainpassperformanceWWW: mountainpassperformance.comWant to learn more about motorsport wiring?

Vamos a verlas. ¿Me gustan o no me gustan?

No matter how you feel about electric vehicles, there's no denying the incredible performance that can be achieved with these impressive driveline systems.  With more and more rapid EVs hitting the streets every day, inevitably, enthusiasts are now beginning to ask just what can be gained when working with them. This week's HPA Tuned In podcast guest is Sasha Anis of Mountain Pass Performance, someone who has dived deeper than most into the world of high-performance EVs.Use ‘PODCAST75' for $75 off your first HPA course here: https://hpcdmy.co/hpa-tuned-inSasha is an accomplished driver and tuner who has, in recent years, refocused his efforts into the EV world, and his insight into this fairly new and constantly changing field of hyper-performance is invaluable. This On the Move is kicking off with hosts Matt Avery and John Kraman amped to dish the latest buzz on electric vehicles. First, it's talk of Chevrolet's recall on batteries in the Bolt EV, and then it's on to the latest data on EV ownership trends in California. Kicking things up a notch, the guys dive into some powertrain details on the 2022 Lamborghini Countach before having a discussion on the current administration's target of having 50% of vehicles on the road in 2050 be electric. Matt and John point out that target doesn't spell disaster for conventional gas-powered cars and trucks. Next up, the guys are on the move and onsite at Gold Eagle's Chicago headquarters, and joining them is Gold Eagle Senior Director of Marketing Matt Banach. Banach shares with them how the company got started nearly 90 years ago and how it has grown to include a well-known family of brands including icons like STA-BIL and 303 Automotive, as well as Marine Protectants and Cleaners. Along the way, Banach also shares how the team is composed of a passionate group of individuals who actively test and use each and every product. He also shares about the latest in-house promotional vehicle: a Nissan 350Z. Rounding out this week's episode, it's another On the Move REView, with Matt and John giving their thoughts on the all-electric 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium AWD. One of the first talking points is dialogue about Ford's use of such a legendary nameplate on such an advanced vehicle, followed by the pair shifting into driving and cabin impressions. Both Matt and John are a fan of the petrol-less pony but ponder whether or not the Mustang faithful will accept it into the herd.
