ALPINE A110R: mi nuevo favorito Frente a aquellos que opinan la famosa frase "burro grande ande o no ande"; Renault/Alpine nos propone una formula que, de inicio, parece no fallar (motor no necesariamente grande, poco peso y evocar las sensaciones de conducción más primarias). Lo hemos visto en exitos como el GR Yaris, la continua apuesta de Mazda con su mítico MX5 o Nissan con su 370Z... Alpine no podía ser menos y en su resurgir rescató la filosofía de su clásico A110 y creó sobre esta plataforma de deportivo biplaza y tracción trasera un coche especial que disfrutarás, y mucho, conduciendo. Pero es entonces cuando la división deportiva de la marca francesa quiere ir más allá y radicalizar su modelo más potente (el A110S) bajándolo unos mm, colocando un alerón trasero, lip, taloneras y llantas en fibra de carbono y adecuando el interior a la radicalidad del coche. Nace así unos de mis coches favoritos: el Alpine A110R. Contamos en esta nueva fórmula con un motor 4 cilindros, 1.8 de 300cv heredado del megan RS, el cual va situado en posición central trasero sobre un chasis ultra aligerado gracias a la utilización de numerosos componentes en Fibra de Carbono. A esa combinación perfecta de potencia y poco peso hay que agregarle dos ingredientes más: una caja de cambios de doble embrague que hace que subir y bajar de marcha se convierta en tu pasatiempo favorito y una dirección ultra precisa. En fin, me ha encantado este coche, este KART para mayores y ahora como me gusta hacer lanzo una pregunta a la mesa... ¿Burro grande ande o no ande? "Antiguamente los pilotos eran gordos y las ruedas delgadas" - Jose Froilan González Así es, el argentino, campeón de las 24 horas de Le Mans de 1954 tenía esta aprticular opinión sobre el motorsport de antaño. Y lo cierto es que si vemos el monoplaza con el que ganó Le Mans (Ferrari 375 Plus) y ponemos una foto suya al lado, Jose Froilan no se equivocaba... Este gran piloto muchas veces eclipsado por los éxitos de su compatriota Juan Manuel fangio, tenía un humor y un carácter particulares. Quizá, y aquí me aventuro, fue loq ue encandilase a Il Commendatore de este piloto (a parte por supuesto de sus prodigiosas manos). Unas manos que le llevaron a conseguir la primera victoria de Ferrari en F1. Un hito que marcó la historia de Froilán González. El hecho, tuvo lugar el 14 de julio de 1951 en el Gran Premio de Gran Bretaña corrido en el Circuito de Silverstone. Allí, Froilán conseguiría derrotar a las hasta ahí imbatibles "Alfettas" del equipo Alfa Romeo, capitaneadas por el compatriota de Froilán, Juan Manuel Fangio. Esta victoria, le significó a Froilán mantener el vínculo con la casa italiana en los siguientes campeonatos para los próximos cuatro años. Lograba así otro hito, fue el único piloto que pudo arrancarle lágrimas a Ferrari con una victoria. “El deseo de Ferrari de ganarle a las Alfettas era mitológico. De esas máquinas se decía que eran imbatibles y la historia así lo venía demostrando. No perdían una carrera desde Trípoli, antes de la Segunda Guerra Mundial”, explicó el argentino en una entrevista. Puede que fuera una persona en baja forma sobre unas delgadas ruedas pero pasó a la historia como una leyenda del motorsport demostrándonos que todo en esta vida es posible... The Nissan Z is one of the most important cars in the company's history. It might not be its best seller, but Nissan's Z-cars helped put the company on the map over half a century ago. Most recently, the Nissan 350Z and 370Z offered affordable fun performance for over two decades. Trying to build on that success and keep the Z-name alive in a market dominated by crossover SUVs, Nissan brought its Z back without a numerical prefix. Now just named Z, Nissan stuffed a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 under the hood that's good for 400 hp. Naturally, the Nismo version cranks the performance up a notch and offers more power and a revised suspension. However, this extra power comes with a price hike and no manual transmission. On this episode of Quick Spin, Autoweek's West Coast editor Mark Vaughn hops behind the wheel of the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo and puts it through its paces. Vaughn takes you on a tour of the '24 Nissan Z Nismo and highlights some of his favorite features. Later, Vaughn takes you along for a live drive review. Host Wesley Wren chats with Vaughn about the Nissan Z and the lack of a manual transmission. The pair also look at the Nissan Z's competition and price. ¡Hablemos de coches japoneses! Todos estamos de acuerdo: Por lo general, son muy fiables. Y eso les convierte en buenos coches clásicos. Además, hay muchos modelos, muchas variantes y, en España, no son muy conocidos. Por eso hay posibilidades de comprar coches, incluso por menos de 5.000 €, pensando en que se conviertan en una buena inversión. A ver, ¡no nos vamos a hacer ricos! Bueno, quizás alguno con mucho dinero y espacio sí pudiera conseguirlo. Pero si te vamos a dar ideas de coches que podrás disfrutar sabiendo que tu inversión se va a mantener y, con algo de suerte, poco, va a revalorizarse. Los coches viejos, antiguos, clásicos, youngtimer o como quieras llamarlos, son una buena inversión. Sucede como en la bolsa: A corto y medio plazo puede bajar o subir, pero a largo plazo siempre sube. Y eso pasa con los coches… si eliges bien modelo y compras un coche en buen estado. En mi opinión los coches japoneses en España siguen estando algo infravalorados, yo creo que por que se conocen poco. Por supuesto, con la excepción de Canarias, donde siempre ha habido y sigue habiendo muchos coches japoneses. Veréis que hay mucho coche deportivo… lógico. Cuando son buenos son los que más mantienen su valor y más se revalorizan. Y vamos por orden cronológico. 1. Toyota Celica (1985) El Toyota Celica es un deportivo que hoy en día aún sigue siendo atractivo, del que se encuentran numerosas unidades a la venta muy interesantes y a precio razonable, sobre todo si te “sales” de la idea de comprar el 4WD. La versión 2.0 16v de 150 CV es muy interesante y en España la puedes encontrar a partir de los 10.000 €. 2. Toyota Supra (1986) ¡Confieso que me encanta la primera generación de 1971, que en Canarias sí se ve! Como diré de otro coche de esta lista, se cotizan, pero se van a cotizar más. Hablo de la 3ª Generación, porque en España, en la península, la más conocida era la cuarta, realmente precioso, pero llegó, casi con cuenta gotas. Lo más interesante: El “salto” de precio entre las 3ª generación y la 4ª es espectacular. He visto coches de 1989, la versión 3.0 litros de 204 CV por menos de 15.000 € 3. Mitsubishi Eclipse (1995) La 2ª generación de este deportivo compacto japonés llegó a España a principios de los años noventa. Su acertada estética y sus buenos acabados y equipamiento lo hacen un japonés muy atractivo para coleccionar. Puedes encontrar la versión con motor de gasolina de 2 litros y 141 CV, ¡incluso por menos de 5.000 €! Y, en general, curiosamente, con pocos kilómetros. 4. Honda Prelude (1997) ¡Una verdadera joya! Que tengo el convencimiento que cuando el mercado “filtre” un poco y vayan desapareciendo las peores, se revaloriza. Hablamos de la 5ª Generación llegó al mercado español a finales de los años noventa con motor 2.2 VTEC de gasolina, que daba 184 CV. Curiosamente no tuvo un gran éxito de ventas aquí, así que podemos encontrar todavía unidades en el mercado a precios muy asequibles: desde 5.000 euros. Una inversión segura y que mientras se revaloriza o no, disfrutaremos mucho. 5. Suzuki Jimny (1998) Lo avise cuando hablaba del Supra, este es otro modelo que está caro, pero que nunca va a bajar de precio. Por supuesto, hablo de la 3ª generación, que en España fue la primera porque los modelos anteriores no se llamaron Jimny. Insisto, están caros, difícil encontrar uno bueno por menos de 10.000 €, pero te aseguro que no van a bajar, más bien van a subir, porque, entre otras cosas, cada vez hay menos coches de TT. 6. Toyota Prius (2000) ¡No todos van a ser deportivos! Y de la primera generación, de la que en España se vendieron 11 unidades en el 2000 a más de 50.000 ahora. Este modelo sentó las bases de la tecnología híbrida, fue en un producto innovador, muy bien hecho y feo con ganas… hoy lo puedes comprar por menos de 10.000 €… dentro de 10 años, ¿Cuánto crees que podrá valer los que sobrevivan? Y dentro de 10 años, poner una batería nueva a un Prius será más barato y la batería mejor. 7. Mazda RX8 (2002) Para mí, una futura “pera en dulce”. Primero, porque por el Mazda RX8 parece que no pase el tiempo… ¡y ya tiene 20 años! Además es el último de su especie, deportivo rotativo… y esto no parece que vaya a cambiar. Y es un coche que puedes conseguir por poco más de ¡5.000 €! Os lo digo en serio, yo estoy buscando uno, porque en mi modesta opinión, sí o sí, este coche se va a revalorizar… 8. Nissan 350Z (2002) Y tras una pera en dulce, otra. Un coche que conozco bien porque tuve uno… y que muchas veces echo de menos… Motor V6 de 3,5 litros y 280CV, excelente posición de conducción, buen bastidor, estética espectacular… Confieso que me gusta más que su sucesor, el 370Z. Ya es un coche que se está sobrevalorando, hace unos años estaban más baratos… pero van a seguir subiendo… Si te das prisa, en España, los puedes encontrar todavía por unos 15.000 €, pero los buenos valen más… pero valen la pena. 9. Mazda MX5 NC (2005) Quizás se esté convirtiendo en el nuevo “patito feo” de la gama Mazda MX5, sobre todo si te conformas con la versión 1.6 de 110 CV, en mi opinión más que suficientes para un descapotable. Supone una gran mejora sobre el NB, para mi es más bonito y la buena noticia es que los puedes encontrar por menos de 10.000 € con muy pocos kilómetros y es un coche duro y fiable… y extremadamente divertido. 10. Honda Civic (2007) Hablamos de la 8ª generación, para muchos el más feo…. Pero al que el paso del tiempo le ha sentado bien. En mi opinión, cuando salió, quizás porque era demasiado adelantado a su tiempo… a mí me parece más bonito ahora.Si te empeñas en el Type R o versiones tope de gama, pues te costará un dinerito, pero muchos menos por ejemplo si te conformas con la versión 2.2 litros de 140 CV, un motor muy agradable y un coche de muy buen comportamiento y muy bien acabado. ¿Cuánto menos? Lo puedes encontrar incluso por menos de 5.000 € Conclusión. Fácil, breve y directa… ¡a que esperas! Lo confieso, de estos 10 coches hay al menos 5 que me gustaría comprar… ¿y tú?

Nissan finally revealed its new Z sports car after a very long dance with the 370Z, which leads Bruce and Smith to talk about previous Z models. Details on the new Acura NSX Type S are shared, but it becomes clear that NSX is the Rodney Dangerfield of supercars, having been overshadowed both by the Ford GT when it debuted, and the Lamborghini Countach just last week. There's also a refreshed Lincoln Navigator in the mix, because the world needs its full-size luxury SUVs as up-to-date as possible.

Hoy vamos a arrancar anunciando algo que va a ser una buena costumbre: una vez al mes os ofreceremos el vídeo mensual de CEROaCIEN, un vídeo con temas de la revista. Muy importante, esta revista ¡No se vende en kioscos! En los años ’60 parecía que solo los europeos sabían hacer coches deportivos. En los USA el mercado de coches deportivos estaba en alza, pero la oferta se limitaba a algunos modelos americanos y, sobre todo, ingleses, que dominaban el mercado. Y entonces llegó un coche que lo cambió todo, que prácticamente barrió a la competencia: El Datsun Z. ¿Datsun o Nissan? Eso también te lo contaremos. Y vale la pena esta historia, porque como os decía el Z fue un coche que cambió muchas cosas. ¿Por qué? Primero, contribuyo al declive de los deportivos ingleses y con ellos, de la industria inglesa. ¿Os parece una exageración? Pues ya os digo que no. Segundo, demostró que los japoneses sabían hacer coches adaptados a otros mercados, porque uno de los méritos del Z fue que se hizo para satisfacer la demanda de deportivos en Estados Unidos teniendo en cuenta sus gustos e, incluso, su talla. Tercero, demostró que deportividad y fiabilidad no son incompatibles, pues una de las cualidades que siempre ha tenido el Z ha sido esa, la de ser un coche prestacional, pero extremadamente fiable. Cuarto, por primera vez un coche japonés, muy deportivo, competía en diseño y capacidad de seducción con los modelos europeos y americanos. Los japoneses sabían diseñar coches… aunque la paternidad del diseño del Z fue discutida hasta mediados de los años ’80. También lo contaremos. Y quinto, muy importante, ofreció un deportivo bonito, con buenas prestaciones, fiable y muy al gusto americano y… por un precio muy ventajoso. Os voy a dar una referencia: En 1970 un Porsche 911 con su motor de 2,2 litros y 125 CV era un modelo completamente equiparable al 240 Z que ofrecía 151 CV con mediciones SAE, o sea unos 135 CV de verdad; desde luego la marca Porsche era un todo en referente, tanto o más que ahora, mientras que la marca Datsun se asociaba a coches pequeños y utilitarios. Pero es que el Z costaba menos de la mitad. En Nissan tenían clara una cosa: Su objetivo era el mercado americano y querían un coche que gustase a ese público. Habían contratado al diseñador alemán Albrechtn Von Goertz, quien había trabajado en Studebakers nada menos que con Raymond Loewy, probablemente el más famoso diseñador americano. Goertz presentó varios diseños y prototipos, insistió en temas como la habitabilidad talla USA, ya que los japoneses eran y creo que siguen siendo mucho más pequeños y en temas como ofrecer un buen maletero, accesible y con capacidad para un par de juegos de palos de golf… todo muy yanqui. Pero al final, el responsable del diseño del Z fue el japonés Yoshihico Matsuo y su equipo, quienes, sin lugar a dudas, se inspiraron en el diseño de Goertz. Tanto es así que durante años y años Goertz reclamó la paternidad del Z, algo que de algún modo consiguió cuando recibió una carta de Nissan reconociendo que su trabajo “influyo” en el diseño del Z… vamos, como niños. Pero el Z no solo era una cara bonita. Motor y bastidor ofrecían soluciones muy interesantes. El motor era “un seis cilindros” en línea con árbol de levas en culata, que nació como dos litros, entre otras cosas por temas fiscales, pero luego fue subiendo de cilindrada hasta casi los 3 litros. En cuando al bastidor, por supuesto monocasco, contaba con un subchasis trasero y suspensión independiente. Por fin, en diciembre de 1969 se pone a la venta el Datsun 240 Z o el Fairlady Z, según los mercados y tiene un éxito instantáneo. Pero no sólo en los USA, sino que también en Europa y en Japón, el coche se vende muy bien y recibe criticas muy favorables. En 1974 el 240Z se convierte en 260 Z. Este cambio no se limita al motor de 2.6 litros, sino que incluye los paragolpes reforzados imprescindibles en los USA, catalizador y llega la versión 2+2 con distancia entre ejes alargada en 30 cm. No mucho mas tarde aparece la versión 280Z, ya con inyección de combustible. El éxito del Z fue apoteósico. En sus primeros cuatro años de vida Nissan vendió más de 250.000 unidades, una de cada cinco en Estados Unidos. Borró del mapa a los obsoletos deportivos ingleses, compitió sin complejos con el Jaguar E y el Porsche 911 que le duplicaban en precio. La segunda generación, el 280ZX, se lanza en 1978 ya solo como versión 2+2. Gana en practicidad, lujo y confort, pero pierde en deportividad y, en mi opinión, no es tan puro ni tan bonito. Pero la filosofía Z continuó con el impresionante Nissan 300ZX de 1983 y luego con los 350Z y al actual 370Z herederos directos de la filosofía de este mítico modelo.

Datsun/Nissan Z cars Pt.2 In this episode, I cover the latest generations of the Datsun/Nissan Z cars, starting with the 300ZX all the way to the newly shown off Z Proto. With the first 300ZX, things were looking up in terms of performance, but the car still had a long way to go. By 1990 the Z32 300ZX was out and this car became incredible, utilizing a twin-turbo V6 engine, 4 wheel steering, and many other upgrades. The Z32 would become one of the best sports cars of the time. The 350Z and 370Z both continued the trend of good performance and a good price, the next-generation Z Proto was just shown off and things are looking good again for this latest Z car Thanks for Listening! It was Nissans turn, the 370z is 10 years old and it was time for a change, a big change! In 2019 we saw two big names release some game changers, with the all new A90 Toyota Supra, and Chevy had a go with the new Corvette C8. All seeming like old news at this point, and now it's Nissans turn to wow us all. Let's start off by talking about the elephant in the room, or should I say front bumper in the room? Every car or automotive sketch artist I can think of on youTube seems to have a better idea of what the front bumper should look like. Is it missing something? More details? Are they making the same mistake as BMW with an out of this world front bumper? However Nissan does claim the car is not 100% completed, so the photos and videos all over the internet are not a completed product. In the interview during the release they did state “ its very close”. So we can expect the car to be very close to what we will see in a final product.According to many online sources, the powertrain will be very close, if not identical to the Infiniti's Q60 Coupe engine. Nissan confirmed the Proto Z will feature a twin-turbo V6, which we expect to be the same unit from the Q60. Now here is where it gets interesting...Will the “400Z” name and some claims online state the goal of 400HP? That platform is already developed with the Q50 Red Sport, but if we plunk that into a much lighter vehicle...crazy track monster? I think so!! So, are we going to see a Nismo version, with the carbon accents, bigger brakes and a 400HP drivetrain? And then a base, or limited model with the 300HP twin turbo like the Q60 base? Another points to mention would be the suspension, we at Paradigm are all about suspension tuning, so this interests me the most. Nissan states they will have a completely updated version of the 370Z chassis and suspension design. Its expected to have options or certain models with adjustable suspension, upgraded steering, most likely electric, and a limited-slip diff in the rear! Thats awesome, and I cant wait to drive one!Now lets get to the best part.. the part we as car enthusiasts have all been waiting for, the mistake they made with the New Supra.... The Nissan 400Z comes stock with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION!! Thats right! This is something that too many manufacturers have been getting away from. But why? There is nothing like cruising down a long curvy road, making every decision possible. Braking, down shifting, hugging the corners and reacting with every feeling the road gives you. Shifting with a manual transmission is such a pure driving experience. Not to mention drifting, auto cross or other motorsport potential this car will offer right out of the box! I think this car is a bit of a game changer, even though we have still not seen a 100% finished product. We also have to talk about one final thing before we go. It's an important thing that we do not want to leave out. THE PRICE TAG?? What is Nissan going to do here? It's been said to release with an MSRP of $42,000 US, but that has not yet been confirmed. We have no idea what to expect, and I think this will play a major role in how this does in the car scene and or car market today. If they price this too high, then they will compete with way too many cars, if they price it just right, 45k mark or less? I think there may be a lot of 370Z's for sale
The current Z car is over a decade old now and it certainly shows. Despite being about as old as another long-in-the-tooth vehicle sold today (all the LX cars), the 370Z has received about as many updates since 2015 as the Chrysler 300. A pity, considering the Z was once a no-brainer option for Japanese sports car enthusiasts. It may not be a pity for much longer though, because Nissan is looking to regain its crown as the obvious choice for JDM sports cars with the upcoming Z car, previewed here by the Z Proto... Carzaam Automotive News Episode 16: Pony AI - Nissan Switch - Uber Driverless car startup Pony.ai raises $462 million at a $3 billion valuation In a sign that investors’ still have enthusiasm for driverless cars, Pony AI has secured $462m in fresh funding, including $400m from Toyota. The capital infusion brings the startup’s total raised amount to about $800m at a valuation north of $3bn. After this round, Pony.ai is the second-most valuable independent autonomous driving company in the world now positioning themselves as a global autonomous driving company, now located in both the U.S. and China. Pony.ai and Toyota last year announced a partnership to explore driverless mobility services across a range of segments and industries, and this new financing cements and expands that existing relationship. Switching it up: Nissan launches subscription service in the U.S. A future where roads are dominated by vehicle fleets is one step closer after the launch of Switch, an entry-level subscription car service by Nissan. Subscription plans, which start at $699 per month plus a $495 one-time fee, provide subscribers with a vehicle rented for a maximum of 180 days, or 3,200 km–whichever is first. Four vehicles are offered under the basic plan including the Altima, Frontier, Pathfinder and Rogue. A $900-per-month premium membership also gives subscribers access to more vehicle models including the 370Z, Armada, Leaf Plus, Maxima, Murano and Titan. For an additional $100-per-day, premium members may also rent a GT-R but this is capped at a maximum period of one week. Uber Inks Deal With Adomni to Put Ad Displays Atop Vehicles Uber has signed a deal with ad-tech company Adomni to introduce ad displays on top of a thousand vehicles in three cities by April 1. While individual Uber drivers could previously install ad displays on top of their vehicles from third-party operators like Firefly, this agreement marks the first time Uber has rolled out a company-sponsored ad platform of its own. Uber and Uber Eats drivers in Atlanta, Dallas, Texas, and Phoenix will be compensated to participate in the pilot program, which will launch with commercial advertisements on April 1. The Nissan 370Z could be on borrowed time. As it stands, the droptop version of the long-running sports car will disappear after this year. The 370Z has endured in the automaker’s lineup essentially unchanged since its debut all the way back in 2009. Numerous special models have appeared through the years, the most recent being the 50th Anniversary Edition that debuted at the 2019 New York Auto Show in April.

Nissan Juke AAAA Sport utility dinamici e compatti cercansi. Nissan si appresta ad inventare una nuova nicchia di mercato con il piccolo crossover Juke. Robusto e sportivo, Juke rappresenta una proposta innovativa per il segmento B. Una small car più lunga di soli 10 cm rispetto alla Peugeot 207 e più corta di 20 cm rispetto al fratello maggiore Qashqai. Gli elementi tipici del Juke sono quelli di un crossover, ma tutta una serie di interventi stilistici lo rendono assolutamente originale. È una di quelle macchine che ha il pregio di dividere: o piace tantissimo o non piace per niente. La sensazione di sportività viene esaltata dalla posizione della leva del cambio elevata, vicina allo sterzo, dalla linea di cintura alta, dal tetto spiovente e dal parabrezza inclinato che fanno pensare ai coupé sportivi 370Z o GT-R. Ci sono anche dettagli che ricordano il serbatoio di una moto, come il cruscotto e il tunnel centrale verniciato. La denominazione Juke si rifa al termine usato per definire un'azione dissuasiva di finta che il running back della squadra attaccante nel football americano attua in fase offensiva. Esteticamente, il Juke ricorda la concept Qazana, presentata al Salone di Ginevra del 2009 con notevoli riscontri di stampa e pubblico. Nissan ne ha "traslato" le linee senza sostanziali modifiche per attrarre una clientela maschile giovanile e amante della tecnologia, ma con un occhio di riguardo anche verso le esigenze femminili, per donne attente al design e sicure di sé. Il design degli interni è caratterizzato da un design innovativo, dall'ambiente confortevole, con sedili supersportivi ed avvolgenti, anche se i materiali potrebbero essere più pregiati. Dalle ricerche in fase di progettazione, Nissan ha capito di doversi rivolgere ad acquirenti amanti della tecnologia e ha quindi sviluppato un'interfaccia uomo-macchina decisamente intuitiva, ma senza appesantirla con decine di menu e sottomenu. La Casa ha così ideato il Dynamic Control System che consente di sfruttare gli stessi pulsanti alternativamente per gestire il climatizzatore oppure lo stile di guida: Eco, Sport e Normal con un display centrale che si adatta a seconda della funzione richiamata e con le descrizioni che variano all'occorrenza. C'è addirittura un indicatore della forza G longitudinale e trasversale. Dotato di una capacità del bagagliaio fino a 830 litri, Juke (2 e 4 ruote motrici con Torque Vectoring) sarà commercializzato in Italia dal primo sabato di ottobre nelle versioni a benzina, un mese dopo per quella a gasolio. Tre le motorizzazioni disponibili, abbinate a cambi manuali a 5 o 6 marce oppure al CVT. Si parte da un dCi di 1,5 litri da 110 CV, frutto dell'alleanza con Renault, per proseguire con un benzina aspirato 1.6 da 117 CV fino ad arrivare alla vera punta di diamante, l'inedito turbo benzina ad iniezione diretta 1.6 da 190 CV a trazione integrale. ESP, EBD e sei airbag tra le dotazioni di sicurezza. Prezzi compresi tra i 16.490 Euro della Visia 1.6 e i 27.290 Euro della Tekna 1.6 4WD.
