It significantly altered the way people communicate, the way that we interact, and while some of the most extreme changes were more temporary, many have caused long term shifts in how we still do business. One of the absolute biggest changes the pandemic left behind for business is how we kind of structure our training programs for employees. In the past how we did it was companies would create a product or fill the need for a service then bring it to market and see how it does. Now companies are constantly having to adapt. Changing every aspect of their internal structure and way they do business and the product or service they provide at a really, really rapid pace. Adam Shahar is the name that keeps coming up when I ask who is an up and coming star. At 18 he had a breakout year where he won bouldering nationals, climbed V15 in a few sessions while he was on the road doing WC's, and then became IFSC's Athlete of the Week when he narrowly missed finals with a 7th place finish at the Prague WC. He is also Chair of the City of London Law Society Training Committee and co-founder of multi-award-winning City Century, a more-than-50-firm collaboration annually recruiting ca 150 solicitor apprentices into London. Patrick founded the Society's Social Welfare Solicitor Qualification Fund for which he raised over £1m which will support over 100 early lawyers.

You know, whether it be you needing or wanting to train a young puppy or you training an older dog, there are different options. You know, some of the most common options are sending your dog away.for training, what a lot of people call board and train or doggy bootcamp, having private lessons or going to a group class. So I just want to talk a little bit about the pros and cons of all of those. Now, the first thing that I want to say is that I believe, especially, especially when you're starting brand new training with a dog that knows little to nothing, that getting private one -on -one trainingthe best option for every dog and for every pet parent. if you've got a dog that has problems in the home, nuisance behaviors like potty training issues, jumping, barking, digging, being destructive, again, having private lessons is great. Now, if you've got a lot of those nuisance behaviors at your home, private lessons are best done there, at your home.and not done at the trainer's facility if they have one or meeting them in a park. Now I'm not saying that that's a bad way to go. Again, private one -on -one training I think is the best thing because you the pet parent get the undivided attention of that trainer without them having to divide their attention with other pet parents, with other dogs.
