In electric vehicle (EV) batteries, the anode serves as a critical component, acting as a storage vessel for lithium ions that are then released when the battery powers the car. Major players like Porsche, Mercedes, and GM are embracing this technology, recognizing its potential to revolutionize EV performance. However, while silicon-based anode materials hold great promise for batteries, they are known to suffer from significant degradation during charging and discharging cycles. Solving this problem could open up a market for silicon anode materials that could reach $130B by 2033. ENTER HPQ SILICON INC. (TSX-V: HPQ) (OTCQB: HPQFF)  HPQ Silicon is positioning itself to become a key supplier of Silicon materials in battery anodes, which aligns with the US and Canadian government initiatives to establish domestic battery manufacturing ecosystems in an effort to reduce reliance on China.  Novacium, HPQ's France-based affiliate, has acquired patents enhancing anode material performance, particularly in silicon-based Li-ion batteries. With the pressing demand for domestic battery material suppliers, HPQ Silicon's advancements in silicon-based anode material position it as a crucial player in meeting the evolving needs of the electric vehicle industry while addressing supply chain vulnerabilities. BREAKTHROUGH PERFORMANCE AND STRATEGIC VISION  Cycle Performance: Bernard shared impressive results from their spread analysis, with the silicon material maintaining over 3,200 mAh after 150 cycles. This performance reflects a 33% improvement in R&D advanced material. Despite the results being visually understated, the data confirms substantial progress. Future Goals: HPQ is setting its sights on achieving a world record with Gen. 3 technology, targeting an average of over 4,000 mAh.  Bernard hints at ongoing developments but remains cautious about revealing specific details due to competitive considerations. KEY INNOVATIONS AND MARKET POTENTIAL Silicon vs. Graphite: Silicon-based anodes are emerging as game-changers, boasting 10x the energy density of their graphite counterparts. Despite their potential, silicon anodes have struggled with degradation issues during battery cycles. HPQ's latest advancements aim to overcome these challenges, setting the stage for significant industry disruption. Canadian Government Upgrade: Recently, The Canadian Minister of Natural Resources emphasized the significance of critical minerals as the building blocks for the green and digital economy. There is no energy transition without critical minerals: no batteries, no electric cars, no wind turbines, and no solar panels. Bernard emphasizes that this material not only outperforms current options but also offers superior longevity, crucial for the next generation of EV batteries. "Our material's ability to withstand more cycles before degradation is a major breakthrough," Bernard states. INDUSTRY SHIFTS AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS Silicon Battery Advancements: The shift from graphite to silicon-based materials is driven by improved performance and reduced carbon footprint. HPQ's lead in generating carbon credits and the potential to repatriate manufacturing from Asia underscores the strategic importance of their technology Fumed Silica Project: While the fumed silica project progresses, detailed updates are anticipated to coincide with developments in Gen 3. The ongoing commercial discussions and the involvement of prominent companies are expected to positively impact HPQ. Conclusion: A Promising Future for Silicon in EV Batteries HPQ's advancements in silicon-based anode materials represent a significant leap forward in battery technology, offering both high performance and longevity. As the company navigates critical milestones and strategic partnerships, its innovative approach could redefine industry standards and capture a substantial market share. Industry watchers should stay tuned for further updates and the next phases of HPQ's ambitious projects.

On June 10th, Canada added silicon metal to its critical minerals list. The Canadian Minister of Natural Resources emphasized the significance of critical minerals as the building blocks for the green and digital economy. There is no energy transition without critical minerals: no batteries, no electric cars, no wind turbines, and no solar panels. This latest update to the list highlights the growing importance of silicon metal in modern technologies. The move will offer greater certainty for Canadian mining and manufacturing businesses while further building out the nation's capacity to meet the growing global demand for silicon. HPQ, with the support of world-class technology partners, is developing new and proven green processes crucial for producing critical materials such as silicon, which are essential to achieving net-zero emissions. Specifically, the company's PUREVAP™ QRR represents a significant breakthrough in silicon production. Unlike traditional methods, which require large-scale facilities for their multi-stage, energy-intensive, and polluting processes, the PUREVAP™ process is a small-footprint, scalable method that can efficiently convert raw quartz into high-purity silicon metal in a single step.

The province of Ontario is setting up a new office in Singapore, as part of its efforts to deepen cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. On this exclusive episode of Breakfast Special, Victor Fedeli, Canadian Minister for Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade expands the conversation on what Singapore businesses interested in expanding into Ontario and vice versa, can look forward to as Canada and Singapore deepen trade ties and partnerships.  Presented by: Emaad Akhtar Produced and edited by: Yeo Kai Ting (ykaiting@sph.com.sg) Music/sound credits: pixabay & its talented community of contributors   Highlights:  (00:08) Minister Fedeli, have you managed to sample some of the local food here?  (00:36) And what's your favourite dish?  (00:50) Breakfast Special Introduction (02:08) Minister, let's first talk about businesses that are interested in setting up shop in Ontario. Off-air, you told me something quite staggering, which is that Ontario rivals Silicon Valley in the number of employees it attracts. Could you elaborate on the types of opportunities that these businesses will get access to? And why should they choose Canada over other markets? (03:07) Now, we know Canada is big on innovation. And as a famous saying goes, "necessity is the mother of invention" or innovation in this case, are there specific kinds of businesses or sectors that you're hoping to attract? (04:11) Minister, as with all kinds of expansion abroad, there's bound to be challenges that have to be navigated as well. So, what's the kind of advice that you would offer for businesses looking to expand to Canada? And what sources of support are there for foreign businesses should they meet with operational difficulties on the ground? (05:05) Is there a hard date that you have set for the opening? (05:39) In 2022, we understand that Singapore was Canada's largest destination in Southeast Asia for Canadian direct investment abroad (worth $27.9 billion), while Singapore was Canada's largest source of foreign direct investment from Southeast Asia, hitting $2.62 billion. Which are the key sectors that contributed to this?  (07:07) During Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's last visit to Singapore, he announced the intention to open a trade gateway in Singapore. Could you elaborate on some exciting developments in the pipeline that businesses can look forward to?  (08:16) You mentioned that Ontario is setting up an office here in Singapore. Would you be able to share perhaps a ballpark figure as to roughly how much Canada is planning to pump in when it comes to investments in the Indo Pacific region, or more specifically in Singapore in the coming months ahead?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Her publication of ‘It's All Light – the Morphic Resonance of Light' in 2009 earned the testimony of former Canadian Minister of Defence, the Hon. In 2013 she published a condensed Kindle version of It's All Light, called ‘How To Be Spiritual (and understand quantum physics at the same time)' and followed in 2016 by ‘How to Attract (using the law of resonance)'. The law of resonance, she asserts, is what people are calling ‘the law of attraction'. However, as she says, the law of attraction is really something else – it's the attraction of opposites, like positive and negative poles of a magnet. The law of resonance on the other hand, requires no attracting. It's about being in the right frequency in order to have what you want, and there are tools that can be used to help achieve this, one of which is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). Gloria has been a therapist for over 20 years in natural healing and, since 2008, in EFT and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Her drive and passion is to create understanding of natural laws which naturally unites spirit and matter and thereby, allows for healthy living. https://www.itsalllight.co.uk   My name is Jasna Burza & I am a Life and Business Strategist and Motivational Speaker based in Minneapolis. Wildlife biologist, Hannah Barron and lawyer Kaitlyn Mitchell have been working to defend Wolves, Coyotes, Bears, and Skunks, among many other animals from being poisoned indiscriminately. Why are they poisoned? The governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan say they are attempting to reduce the chances of livestock predation, and to supposedly protect endangered Caribou from population declines caused by the Wolves. Together, with the organizations they work with, Wolf Awareness and Animal Justice, and many others, these two superheroes have signed on and submitted three requests under the Pest Control Products Act asking the Canadian Minister of Health to conduct a special review of the registration of all pest control products containing strychnine, Compound 1080, and sodium cyanide. Unfortunately, the Ministry of Health refused to reconsider the use of these violent poisons. Rather than scapegoating wolves and coyotes and placing indiscriminate and deadly poisons into the environment, Hannah and Kaitlyn detail and describe the reasons why these poisons don't work, can't work, and should be banned from use. This is a hard one to listen to at times, but there is some good news as well. Learn more: https://www.wolfawareness.org/ https://animaljustice.ca/

With the publication of ‘It's All Light' in 2009, she simplified and unified the laws of science with spirituality and has truly come up with the Grand Unified Theory. As the former Canadian Minister of Defence, Hon. Paul Hellyer, says: “It is a really exciting book and the thesis makes a lot of sense to me. My knowledge of physics and mathematics is inadequate to analyze Gloria's hypothesis but my intuition tells me that she may indeed be onto something worthwhile and historic in its implications. I feel honored to count such a brilliant woman amongst my friends.”Also published How To Be Spiritual (And Understand Quantum Physics At The Same Time), in 2013 and How To Attract (Using The Law Of Resonance), in 2014. She has also published four children's books on values education and has been a therapist for almost 30 years in natural healing methods. Her great passion in life is to show that science and spirituality is a false division and to unify these opposing fields. When this is achieved she believes it will bring a greater understanding of natural laws of life which will bring greater health and happiness. For Your Listening Pleasure for these Lockdown / Stay-At-Home COVID and Variants Times - For all the radio shows available on The 'X' Zone Broadcast Network visit - https://www.spreaker.com/user/xzoneradiotv.Our radio shows archives and programming include: A Different Perspective with Kevin Randle; Alien Cosmic Expo Lecture Series; Alien Worlds Radio Show; America's Soul Doctor with Ken Unger; Back in Control Radio Show with Dr. David Hanscom, MD; Connecting with Coincidence with Dr. Bernard Beitman, MD; Dick Tracy; Dimension X; Exploring Tomorrow Radio Show; Flash Gordon; Imagine More Success Radio Show with Syndee Hendricks and Thomas Hydes; Jet Jungle Radio Show; Journey Into Space; Know the Name with Sharon Lynn Wyeth; Lux Radio Theatre - Classic Old Time Radio; Mission Evolution with Gwilda Wiyaka; Paranormal StakeOut with Larry Lawson; Ray Bradbury - Tales Of The Bizarre; Sci Fi Radio Show; Seek Reality with Roberta Grimes; Space Patrol; Stairway to Heaven with Gwilda Wiyaka; The 'X' Zone Radio Show with Rob McConnell; Two Good To Be True with Justina Marsh and Peter Marsh; and many other! That's The ‘X' Zone Broadcast Network Shows and Archives - https://www.spreaker.com/user/xzoneradiotv

The hope is that Open Banking makes financial transactions and banking transparent and simple. Tweetable Quotes:“This is a way to unplug the power of some very large institutions and deliver more value to the entrepreneurial community...everyone should be aligned on this kind of thing.” – Andrew Moor“The message that I take from the advisory committee’s work is they strongly believe that government absolutely needs to play an important role in designing the framework from a legislative standpoint.” – Ben Harrison“The real gating factor is actually the approval and I think that’s always been the biggest risk to this process. And now we have a framework through which to shape the discussion.” – Daniel Eberhard“The general how we’re going to do this hasn’t necessarily been fully addressed yet. On 17 November 2020, the Canadian Minister of Information Science and Economic Development, Navdeep Bains, introduced bill C-11, the long-awaited update to the federal Canadian privacy legislation. For many years, this legislative update had been rumoured, and now that it was finally put on the table, we can see some sweeping changes. The Digital Charter Implementation Act, 2020, which includes the Consumer Privacy Protection Act, "would significantly increase protections to Canadians' personal information by giving Canadians more control and greater transparency when companies handle their personal information", the minister said. This week, we will take a look at what the new Canadian law might bring, how it would impact companies doing business in Canada and what novel approaches might be an inspiration for the rest of the privacy community. Our guests are two Canadian powerhouses: former Privacy Commissioner Jennifer Stoddart (now at Fasken), and nNovation counsel Constantine Karbaliotis. Like many nations around the world grappling with climate change and threats to the natural environment and public health, Canada is taking action to address these challenges, including ratification of the Paris Agreement and a pledge to reduce domestic greenhouse gas emissions by thirty percent in 2030 from 2005 levels. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called for a national carbon pricing plan among other policies, at the same time that the government is making strategic investments to sustain the country’s transition to a clean-growth economy. The Center on Global Energy Policy hosted a conversation with the Hon. Catherine McKenna, Canadian Minister of Environment and Climate Change. Minister McKenna offered brief remarks focused on Canada’s work in climate change, but most of the time was devoted to answering students' questions. CGEP Fellow and Senior Adjunct Research Scholar, Jonathan Elkind moderated the conversation.

Disclosure is coming for the UFO world, or so we hope. Not long ago political activist Stephen Bassett, former Canadian Minister of Defense, Paul Hellyer along with other world leaders, researchers and military witnesses came together to share their thoughts and experiences surrounding the UFO phenomenom at the Citizens Hearing on Disclosure, which was held in Washington, DC. The leaders testified about events and evidence that supports the idea that many people have of an extraterrestrial presence regularly engaging the human race. Their goal is to end the alleged ET truth embargo. Notably, President Obama recently appointed John Podesta as UFO Disclosure Advocate to his Administration. Interestingly, according to Dr. James Preston there is a treaty that has allegedly been created between an evil alien race and the Secret Shadow Government which requires full disclosure by 2015. This alleged treaty states that the SSG must provide Complete Disclosure soon or the large alien Grays will allegedly make massive public displays of themselves and their anti-gravity crafts (AGCs) and disclose everything themselves directly to the American people. Join Carla B., as she digs deep to share verifiable information she feels will change the world as we know it, very soon. "I believe disclosure will tell us who we are as humans and what our role is within this vast universe. We CAN handle the truth," Ms. B., added.
