Here is a story... of a Pod named Notable Nostalgia! It had two hosts named Andy and Jeff!Imagine that in the tune of the brady bunch. It makes more sense!Ok! This episode we tackle a little known show called The Bradys... no... not the Brady Bunch! The Bradys. A show from 1990 starring the Bradny Bunch but everyone has grown up. The show lasted a whopping two months! So i think you know what kind of show this is going to...We try to figure out if they wanted a drama or a comedy. It's definetely not a DRAMEDY. It is some parts drama, some parts comedy but all parts BAD!If you want to watch this tv show before listening to the pod you can watch on Youtube!Well... let's take a shot before this episode because you will NEED it!Grab your favorite blanket, warm up a hot cup of apple cider and get Nostalgic with us!Make sure to leave us a 5 star review, and tell a friend about the show. Mindy Kaling's long-awaited new comedy has finally landed on Disney+, and if you grew up on Sex and the City, Girls and Broad City, it's your next obsession — five hot friends, glossy Manhattan apartments and that razor-sharp humour.Over on Paramount+, a new Aussie dramedy starring Phoebe Tonkin has a ticking-clock premise you'll devour in one sitting. And at the cinema, a gloriously un-PC horror reboot brings Anna Faris and Regina Hall roaring back, every bit as chaotic as the original. Plus the action film everyone wrote off from the trailer — until Nicholas Galitzine, Jared Leto and a scene-stealing Camila Mendes turned it into the most fun you'll have at the movies right now.Remember The Spill drops the tea twice a day in this feed so follow us for all the latest entertainment news… OR you can WATCH our show in full length video on the Apple Podcast app - make sure your phone is up to date and enjoy the watch! We unpack how the series explores the messy fallout of a long-term friendship group fracturing after a major loss, all while maintaining its signature razor-sharp wit. Meanwhile, an iconic Hollywood wildcard has taken on a bold new project on a major streamer that looks and feels completely out of this world. Wait until you hear about the brilliant visual gimmick that lets viewers alternate between colour and a stunning black-and-white aesthetic on this show.Plus, a scandalous and raw new homegrown reality docuseries has dropped, exposing the inner workings of a multi-million-dollar industry. We dive into the massive group chat drama and behind-the-scenes feuds unfolding in a luxury coastal playground. Read our review of the show here. Stranger Things is officially back, but not in the way you expect. We’re breaking down the brand-new animated series that takes us right back to Hawkins in 1985 and Laura is clear on whether this return to this universe is a worthy addition to the lore or if the lack of original voices makes it feel like a different show entirely. The show we’ve been championing since day one is finally back for season two, and it’s arguably funnier (and more chaotic) than ever. If you love Ted Lasso but wish it had a Succession-style family dynamic, this Netflix hit is your perfect weekend binge. It’s messy, heartwarming, and completely unmissable. Plus, we talk about the incredible guest stars making us laugh this season.Love binge-watching TV? First, a PSA for one of the most critically acclaimed (and genuinely laugh-out-loud) shows on television, which has just returned for its final season. If you’ve somehow missed it until now, this is your sign to finally start - because the hype is very real. Then, a terrifying cult-favourite series is back, dropping us into a mysterious town no one can escape… where the real danger only comes out at night. It’s creepy, addictive, and not for the faint-hearted.Plus, a brand-new comedy about a young woman whose life takes a chaotic turn after an unexpected pregnancy - leading her into a very unconventional career path. It’s sharp, funny, and packed with big performances and even bigger family dynamics.Three TV shows. Zero excuses to leave the house. This 2018 Dramedy stars Mark Wahlberg, Rose Byrne, Isabela Merced, Octavia Spencer and Tig Notaro. We deep dive into the lives of two DINK, house flippers who have decided that what they need in life is... Chaos. Coming from 2 parents, going from 0 kids to 1 kid is rough. Going from 0 kids to 3 kids overnight is insanity. Throw in the fact that you skip a bunch of years and they already have personalities that you don't know. Not just that, but these kids have had it ROUGH, so they're understandably a little skeptical. Parenting can be challenging, foster parenting is a gauntlet.

In Sook-Yin Lee's new film, “Paying For It,” a couple whose romantic attraction is waning decide to open up their relationship. While Sonny explores dating, her introverted boyfriend, Chester, opts to hire sex workers. The story is based on Sook-Yin's real-life former relationship with Canadian cartoonist Chester Brown, who released a bestselling graphic memoir of the same name in 2011. It reflects on intimacy, connection, the rights of sex workers, the boundaries we put around relationships, and Toronto in the ‘90s. Sook-Yin joins Tom Power to talk about the movie and what she learned in the process of making it. Plus, she discusses her early work as a MuchMusic VJ, and how she struggled to deal with the slow cultural shift from alternative music to boy bands.

Acclaimed independent filmmaker Sean Baker (The Florida Project, Tangerine) both wrote and directed this dramedy about a Brooklyn sex worker/exotic dancer named Ani (Mikey Madison) who one night meets a wealthy young Russian named Ivan (Mark Eydelshteyn) at her club. She dances for him and apparently they hit it off SO well that within a few days, they decide to get married in Vegas. They soon return to Ivan's enormous waterfront mansion to begin married life when suddenly, some unexpected guests (Karren Karagulian, Vache Tovmasyan, Yura Borisov) come calling. Well not exactly guests....they actually work for Ivan's father who is VERY powerful and none too pleased about his son getting impulsively married like this. At the request of Ivan's father, they also begin to take steps towards ending this short-lived marriage....and needless to say, Ani has some things to say about that. And from there, things just get crazier and crazier....Ever since unexpectedly winning the highly prestigious "Palme d'Or" award back in May, this film has received a steady stream of acclaim and additional awards attention to the point where it is now considered one of the front-runners for this year's Oscar race, especially Mikey Madison (Once Upon a Day In Hollywood) who is very likely to win Best Actress at the Oscar's next year for a performance which has many convinced that she is on her way towards becoming a movie star! Let see if it lives up to the hype......
