In this episode of the Pacey Performance Podcast, Rob is speaking to Bryan Heiderscheit, Fearghal Kerin and Emidio Pacecca. The topic of this conversation is all around MRI and its use in athlete performance profiling. MRI scans are usually thought of an expensive tool that is used when an athlete gets injured. But in this episode we break down those barriers and disciver how they can be used, through technology like Springbok Analytics, in other ways to improve performance and mitigate injury risk with healthy athletes. First we discuss MRI and what it actually is. Bryan gives us some great examples of where it can be used and why. Fearghal and Emidio then give us some amazing insights from the world of elite sport on how MRI scans are actually being used. But most importantly, they give us the real key information which is what we do with the information once we have it. If you're trying to reduce injury risk and optimise performance, check out this episode.

Issue 20: August 2023 Why does every Berlin hipster and their dog seem to be drinking Natural Wine right now… and honestly, what the f**k is it anyway? These were questions, among many, that URSA foodie Will Maidment, his fans, and Julia, had for this month's episode. So we brought in an expert: Emidio, a sommelier and the co-founder of the Berlin and Munich-based natural wine supplier - Forever Thirsty. Will and Julia sat down for an evening with Emidio to sip at some Natty juice and ask the important questions like; is there a military industrial complex of yeast and grapes, can you ferment in any vessel, when did wine stop being natural, are hangovers better or worse with natural wine, and how do I sip but still be sexy? Wines provided by Forever Thirsty and tasted in the episode:Koi “Chi Mera” Emilia Bianco Frizzante IGP2. E in tutta l'area "Sant'Emidio!"

Introduction Song: A Tribe Called Quest - Youthful Expression (Jive Records) This week, we are doing a special rebroadcast the FuseBox Radio Broadcast episode where DJ Fusion interviewed Emidio "Mimi" Soltysik (R.I.P. to a great person at large, activist & longtime friend of the show who transitioned over the past week) & Angela Nicole Walker, the presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election for the Socialist Party USA. During 2016's “interesting” presidential election cycle (to say the least) here in the United States, we were more aware than ever of the imbalance in how 3rd parties are looked at in our current political system in terms of balanced exposure by mainstream media outlets, if they even get any attention at all. The FuseBox Radio’s 2016 Presidential Candidate Interview Sessions were created to assist with educating voters a bit of information about various political parties & ideologies beyond the Democrat/Republican binary with what they stand for straight from the source. We talked about what exactly IS a socialist, how Emidio & Angela decided to become deeply & personally involved with politics & the Socialist Party USA, their platform (in regards to education, health care, the legal system & more), how change needs to happen from local levels on up (in the ballot box and on the streets), the politics of division & the urgent need to change that ASAP, naturally being “intersectional as f**k”, how folks have been responding to their campaign (especially since socialism has been slandered with misinformation via various places) and lots more! In this episode, we talk about why Emídio believes remote work was a crucial factor in building the team to bring his vision to life, and why it’s great to be able to tap into different cultures when doing so. We also talk about what the future of online identity looks like and what are some technological advances that you can tap into to be sure that the person on the other side of the screen really is the person you hired. Emidio also points out that as good as video conversation is, it’s possible to build a world-class product just by text chat, and he tells the story of how that happened for him.

In this episode Chiara De Iulis Pepe of the Emidio Pepe wineries tells Monty Waldin about the benefits of growing grapes using pergola supports — a technique her estate has always successfully employed since the beginning. Hear more about Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and the story of Chiara’s grandfather Emidio in this conversation with Monty.
Introduction Song: A Tribe Called Quest - Youthful Expression (Jive Records) During this vacation week, folks decided to post up a few of our most popular shows of 2016 from the FuseBox Radio Broadcast. Our most downloaded & streamed episodes was our special broadcast where DJ Fusion interviewed Emidio "Mimi" Soltysik & Angela Nicole Walker, the presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election for the Socialist Party USA. Our “interesting” presidential election cycle (to say the least) here in the United States during the past year had people look at the balance in how 3rd parties are looked at in our current political system in terms of exposure by mainstream media outlets, if they even get any attention at all on ANY level - local, state, national, etc.. The FuseBox Radio’s 2016 Presidential Candidate Interview Sessions were put out there to assist with educating voters a bit of information about various political parties beyond the Democrat/Republican binary with what they stand for straight from the source. During our in depth interview, we talked about what exactly IS a socialist, how Emidio & Angela decided to become deeply & personally involved with politics & the Socialist Party USA, their platform (in regards to education, health care, the legal system & more), how change needs to happen from local levels on up (in the ballot box and on the streets), the politics of division & the urgent need to change that ASAP, naturally being “intersectional as f**k”, how folks have been responding to their campaign (especially since socialism has been slandered with misinformation via various places) and lots more!
