Claudia Brady has filed a lawsuit against attorney Anthony "Tony" Buzbee, alleging that he knowingly transmitted a sexually transmitted disease (STD) to her and later physically assaulted her. According to the complaint, Buzbee initiated a romantic relationship with Brady in 2018, during which he failed to disclose his STD status, resulting in her infection. When confronted, Buzbee allegedly apologized and offered free legal services to dissuade her from pursuing legal action. The lawsuit further claims that during a subsequent encounter in a New York City bar, Buzbee became violent upon seeing Brady speak with another man, allegedly striking her and causing two broken teeth.Additionally, Brady accuses Buzbee of professional misconduct during his representation of her in divorce proceedings in 2021. She alleges that Buzbee manipulated her medical records to obscure his role in her STD transmission, altering dates to suggest she contracted the disease after their relationship. This purported alteration was allegedly used to coerce her husband during divorce negotiations, ultimately leading to a settlement significantly less favorable to Brady. He most recently served as Commanding Officer of Naval Special Warfare Basic Training Command. (36:47) • [Marcus] McGraw had more fractures than he had legs. No quit in this dude. (47:18) • The guy next to me, Greg Klein, a huge Green Beret and Marine Force Recon. The instructor says “Klein, what're you doing here? You're Army Green Beret; you're Marine Force Recon. He's like “I thought I'd take a break.” (48:07) • Danny [Dietz] was probably the best pilot I've ever seen. He was amazing. (68:31) • We were in Chesapeake Bay, and I'm looking at the bearings. All of a sudden, I'm like “Hey! Danny!  We're like 90 degrees off course. What are you doing? Next thing I know, we bounce off the bottom. He had fallen asleep driving the STD. We had been out there so long that night. (68:52) • It comes back to Who's under the boat? Who's carrying their weight? Who's sacrificing for their teammates? And Danny [Dietz] was always that guy. (79:32) • [Danny Dietz is the] most selfless dude I've ever met. (79:58) • Whatever he [Danny Dietz] did, he did with excellence. He just owned it. (80:25) • It was the first time that I'd lost anybody close, and I walked out to the gravel, looked up to the heavens and I got to thinking. Frank Donio, S.A.C. are joined by Dr. Susan Timoney, STD, Associate Professor of Practice at the Catholic University of America, to discuss the Jubilee Year: Pilgrims of Hope, 2025.The Church has an excellent opportunity to strengthen its hope in the Lord as we prepare for the 2025 Jubilee Year whose theme is “Pilgrims of Hope.” Pope Francis has invited the Church to prepare for this time of Jubilee with a Year of Prayer. Prayerful preparation for the Jubilee allows us to discern how we can witness the hope that comes from Christ the Lord. Pope Francis in the Bull on Indiction for the Jubilee says that “hope is born of love and based on the love springing from the pierced heart of Jesus upon the cross” (Spes Non Confundit, 3). In the Catholic Church, the concept of Jubilee or ‘Holy Year' was used to declare special years for forgiveness and reconciliation. The first Jubilee was declared by Pope Boniface VIII on 22nd February 1300 (Feast of the Chair of St. Peter), to mark the beginning of that century. He later recommended it occurring every 100 years.
