Sometimes we'll set plans and goals for our professional lives, but things don't always go as we intended them to. Chez Jennings joins TWIK to reflect on her upbringing and takes us on her journey of self-realization where she learned it's ok to pivot. Are cover letters still a thing? Do recruiters even read resumes? Is a degree necessary? ! In this episode, Chez also gives job search tips from the insider perspective of a technical recruiter.

We’re back from vacation and we got off the rails pretty quickly with some questionable choices for TWIK picks, and crawled deeper into a hole with a little too much chatting about Fusion Jordans. Thanks to a tight-eared listener, we also had an eye-opening realization that Philly sounds a whole lot like Danny Green. This masterpiece of an episode was rounded out with a recap of our family vacation, Philly’s recap of a great event featuring Nicky Diamonds and Nazim Kadri, and finally a discussion of wether or not we’ll get back into the sneaker expo displaying game.
