Live from STUDIO G- in the heart of America- I'm STEVE GRUBER- saying the things you wish you could -every day- Fighting for you from the Foxhole of Freedom and defending this great nation— This is THE STEVE GRUBER SHOW! Here are 3 big things you need to know right now— Number One— A super majority support building a wall at the southern border—and that would appear to be a big boost for President Trump to return to the Oval Office—and resume protecting the country from the invasion— Number Two— I forgot to mention earlier that the Dreamers got dumped by the bi-partisan bill that would enshrine just about every other aspect of illegals invading the country—how weird is it—they were left out? Number Three— It seems that Joe Biden's mental health is getting noticeably worse—at an ever faster pace— I mean we know how bad he was before he was sworn in—and we can see he is losing ground every step of the way—lost on stage—confused with the teleprompter—forgetting what he is saying repeatedly—and the mumbling and slurring that is just awful—yeah its not good—
Random Vegas After a 4 month remodeling and a rebranding, in 1963, Lucky Casino, formerly known as Lucky strike, reopened with the largest sign in the city of Las Vegas at 160 feet tall. It held that titled until it was surpassed in 1964 by the Dunes turret marquee towering 180 feet tall. Lucky Casino is now the middle part of Golden Nugget Fremont St frontage. The boys drink and review Brooklyn Brewery's Winter IPA, then discuss the rich men (north of Richmond) who want to tell us how to live and control every aspect of our lives. Seamus Bruner recently wrote a book called Controligarchs about how the super-rich want to tell all the rest of us how to live. Bruner singles out five on his book cover: Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab, and George Soros. Noticeably absent is Elon Musk, who seems to be supporting personal freedom rather than top-down dominance. (Which is why the media hates him.) The controligarchs think they have the right and responsibility to tell us what to eat, what to drive, what to think, what to say, how to educate our children, how to spend our money .... "You'll eat bugs and you'll like it." Unfortunately, the population doesn't have the courage or integrity to tell them where to stuff it. As long as we have our cable TV and cheap food that can be delivered in less than 30 minutes, we're good. These controligarchs aren't taking their lead from traditional, consitutional American ideals. They're following Xi Jingping. It's time to resist these people.

The full version of the special grand jury report in the Georgia election case was made public on Sept. 8. It shows that the grand jurors pushed for charges against 39 people, including Senator Lindsey Graham and former Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. Portions of the report were released earlier this year, but a judge had delayed its release until last month's indictment of former President Donald Trump and 18 others. President Joe Biden has met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi before the annual G20 summit. Noticeably missing from the event are Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese regime leader Xi Jinping. But the White House says the United States sees this as an opportunity to strengthen relationships with the rest of the nations attending. House lawmakers are soon expected to begin an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. The house is probing Hunter Biden's business dealings, and whether or not his father had a hand in these foreign arrangements. I don't mind telling you that I have been obsessed with Balance of Nature supplements since I have been forced to listen to numerous replays of TV ads during one of my favorite shows. I hear myself yelling things like. "have you no shame?" at the TV, but the ads just keep coming. Spoiler alert: These snake oil salesmen will deduct $90 – $100 from your credit card every month for a whole lot of nothingness in a capsule. You will be much better off nutritionally and financially, buying organic fruits and vegetables yourself. I googled "balance of nature" and looked at the list of websites that popped up. The first one was called healthy expert reviews.com. The title at the top of the page read "good value or a scam?" When you open the website, it pushes you to buy another equally scammy product similar to balance of nature. The second one was called smart supplement reviews.com. This is a bogus website pushing another ridiculous product called "sustenance – fruits and greens". The third website I looked into was called total health reports.com. This looks like someone who was paid to write a one-page blog about how wonderful Balance of Nature is... even though I had googled "is balance of nature a scam?". I also googled the Balance of Nature website and got only large pictures of the front of the label. Noticeably missing was any information about what is in these capsules. I then calm down and get about the business of advising you on how to get all of those nutrients and fiber that you were hoping to get from Balance of Nature. There is a short video about the many benefits of fiber that I discuss, which can be found here. By the way, the paperback version of my new memoir called "Helpers Anonymous" has just come out. I am offering a copy of my memoir free of charge until July 24th. For the next 10 days you can get either a Kindle version or a paperback version sent to you. You can email me on my website contact page (healing outside the box) and send either your email or your address-if you prefer the paperback-and I will send it to you. You can read the blurb on Amazon.com. If you wish to also leave a rating and review, that would be terrific!
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was recently welcomed to the White House by US President Joe Biden. In addition to a State Dinner held in his honor, Modi was given opportunity to address a joint session of Congress. Noticeably absent from American leaders' public remarks surrounding Modi's visit: the rapid rise of Christian persecution and other religious freedom violations in India since Modi and his Hindu nationalist party came to power in 2014. Christians in India face harassment, physical assault and arrest from radical Hindus who believe all Indians should be Hindu. Multiple Indian states have passed anti-conversion laws which make it a crime to tell a Hindu about Jesus' love. This week on VOM Radio, Brother Raj, a ministry leader from India, shares his own experience with Christian persecution, including friends that turned their backs on him after he came to faith and repeated encounters with Indian police. He'll also tell how he grew up in a Hindu family but became depressed and attempted suicide before a friend—a Hindu—encouraged him to seek baptism at a Christian church. A pastor at the church gave Raj a Bible, and his journey to finding Jesus began. Listen as Raj shares how his life changed from that moment on and what his parents' reaction was to his newfound Christian faith, how God called him to ministry and what his gospel work looks like today. As persecution has grown in India, Raj's ministry work has changed, too. Listen to learn how he and other Christian leaders train and encourage new believers to be ready to face persecution by trusting in God's promises in the Bible, understanding pressure tactics they may face and learning how to confront these tactics wisely. Raj will also tell how God used his own time of persecution to eliminate fear of sharing his faith with others. Now, he shares Christ with anyone – even the police. Pray fellow believers in India will share their faith with wisdom and courage. Pray they would even be able to see opportunities to share Christ's love even during interrogation or imprisonment.

Oregon and Washington are the biggest television draws for the league's football schedule going forward that remain in the Pac-12. Both schools have been rather silent during the media rights/realignment fiasco, and that says something clear. On today's episode of Locked On Pac-12, Spencer McLaughlin talks about the two most important schools--or at least, football programs--remaining in the Pac-12. Plus, a question comes in about the balance between announcing/negotiating a media deal and conference expansion at the same time. We all have a point at which we will quit… give up on the task we are trying to accomplish. That task can be mental, emotional, or as this old coach is accustomed to… physical. Getting my athletes to that quitting point was absolutely essential to the training I put them through. Not only do I believe it is important for us to give it our all, to the point that we can go any longer, I also believe that the willingness to get there has diminished significantly over the last 4 decades. And I have reasons why I believe that is happening I quickly learned as a young coach, all those years ago, what is probably the most important part of coaching…. And it translates exceptionally from athletics to life. My objective was developing developing superior mental toughness. To make my guys quitting point outlast their opponent. The mind I find gives up long before the body, mental toughness is more difficult to achieve than physical strength conditioning toughness. This mental toughness level, separates out people. I've noticed that through the years, that the bar, for what a persons top level of mental toughness is, has lowered. The kid of the '80's and '90's understood that and they realized that they needed it and bought wholeheartedly into it. As we moved into the 2000's kids changed. Many kids believed me and thought they bought into what I was doing. They thought they were already there….. I saw more and more examples of how mental toughness training was ineffective…. It didn't work on the contemporary athlete. Why??? I believe it was because of all the positive reinforcement and the way that they were raised. Many of them, certainly not all, but many. And now, two decades into the new century, I see the mental toughness of young people continue to evolve. Kids now, pretty much doesn't feel that that mental toughness is important. They are more concerned about technique….. Which is really the easy part. Not saying they are lazy…. They'll spend enormous amounts of time practicing. Mental toughness doesn't really concern the current athlete because they think they've already got it Parents tell them they already have it, Their youth coach is telling them have it. From where I sit the world looks to be moving to be less tough because society is less interested in toughness. Kids are nicer…. just as dedicated….. Noticeably more talented…… but adverse to failure… adverse to risk taking really…. Not all that interested in trying new things or taking a chance on anything that may lead to failure. Failure is such a horrible concept they will do anything to avoid it. And that will be less lessons learned… because nothing good can come out of taking the easy road. Not all kids, but certainly most……. It's what our society is teaching and expecting of them. I remember when paying for things was much different. I Wrote a check the other day and nearly forgot how to do that. I've recently started using my phone to pay for things at stores. I don't have to even have my wallet with me when I go shopping….. All I need is that all important phone. I wonder about the affect of overspending… when it's so easy. When I pay cash, I watch it go…. Really feel it go so I'm likely more cautious with my spending habits. On "Mindset for Happiness" I discuss the importance of goal setting. Goals both illuminate our path so we know where we are going, and accomplishing goals motivates us to continue on towards higher and higher achievement. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/theoldmanspodcast/message

For more, KCBS Radio news anchors Patti Reising and Bret Burkhart spoke with KCBS Insider Phil Matier.

Welcome to The Georgia Politics Podcast! We hope you are part of the 816,000 people who have already voted early. If you aren't – go vote! And that's exactly where we kick off the show today. The state has already seen several turnout records in early voting this year with 816,000 people having cast their ballots already, compared to the 500,000 during the same time period in 2018. Of those who have already voted early, 16% did not vote at all in 2022. The panel discuss what these early numbers mean, and what, if any conclusion we can draw from the effects of SB 201, the voting bill that Democrats lambasted as voter suppression. In other news, Stacey Abrams is under fire yet again for a statement she made regarding the economic impact of the Dobbs decision during an interview on MSNBC. She said, “Let's be clear. Having children is why you're worried about your price for gas. It's why you're concerned about how much food costs. For women, this is not a reductive issue. You can't divorce being forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy from the economic realities of having a child. It's important for us to be having both conversations. We don't have the luxury of reducing it or separating them out. But we also have to talk about what a governor can do: A governor can address housing prices. A governor can address the cost of education. A governor can put money in the pockets of everyday hardworking Georgians instead of giving tax cuts to the wealthy." Misstatement, or did she say what she meant? The panel discuss. Also, David Perdue emptied his campaign account this week and wrote a sizable check to Brian Kemp's Super PAC. Is all forgiven? Lastly, Barack Obama is coming to town! Noticeably absent is President Joe Biden. Why? Underhyped/Overhyped, Play-Along-At-Home and much, much more on today's episode! Forgiveness is an evolutionary phenomenon necessary for building and sustaining a community. Minimizing conflict preserves cooperation so that groups can achieve goals. Noticeably, people practice forgiveness more readily among loved ones and withhold forgiveness from people they have no desire to be in relationships with. Family members and people who share a loving relationship are drawn to share physical and emotional space. Forgiveness allows them to do so in the face of harm. Forgiveness has evolutionary priorities. Misbehaved children, neglectful parents, careless spouses, and demanding grandparents are frequent beneficiaries of forgiveness. Because forgiveness is extended, children can be raised in low-conflict environments, weddings can be executed smoothly, and family reunions can be a joyful experience. Perhaps this evolutionary pull toward forgiveness makes unforgiveness seem radical.
On the early morning of April 9th, 2001 an explosion rocks a suburban neighborhood in Scottsdale, Arizona. Investigators find the home of the Fisher family engulfed in flames. Inside, they find the bodies of Mary Fisher (38), Brittany (12), and Bobby (10), deceased in the rubble. Noticeably missing is the body of Husband/father Robert Fisher. What is initially believed to be a terrible accident turns quickly into a murder investigation when it is discovered that all three deceased members of the family were killed before the fire that destroyed their home. What comes next is a manhunt that lasts more than two decades, spans multiple countries, and to this day has very few definitive answers. Is Robert Fisher still alive today? Did he kill himself in the days and weeks after the murder of his entire family? Will we ever know the full story of the murderer of the Fisher Family? Join us today as we discuss this intriguing case. Support the show

Brandon Handley 0:00 What is going on spiritual dope, I am chilling like literally in the middle of some some field right down the street from us where it was a farm converted into a park scenario. And it's it's crazy. It's not crazy. It's just great like here I am. It's a beautiful big blue sky. Perfect summer well not even summer spring breeze. Look at 5g I've got it's got 5g here, whether or not it's frying my brain, I don't know. But what I do know is that I'm in the middle of a field. grasses, just perfect. Maybe 60 some odd degrees, some as you can hear the birds and you just feel spring happening. And I'm getting ready to hop on with a few my buddies where we are talking about the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying. Really good book so far really, really interested in it really great. One of the biggest takeaways for me so far has been a couple of nice takeaways so far. But the one of the biggest ones is the Bardo, which is this state of transition Bardot's or the states of transition where enlightenment can happen or awakening can happen. Have to go back and double check the specifics on that. Either way, one of those twos always always a cool thing. Except for so far, I think in the middle of it, especially the awakenings session or awakening, if you don't know what's going on, there's a little bit of being freaked out going on. And in that kind of mess the magic is happening right? You don't know when the middle of all that mess that the magic is happening. You just like this is a fucking mess. Bring that up. It's kind of interesting, a couple of couple of things. One thing is talking to another friend of mine, and just brought up the kind of idea of what's going on in your life. And he brought up the, I think, you know, the idea of turning into a butterfly. And there's a chrysalis state and of course we all know that the caterpillar precedes it all jotted down is like nobody really ever goes back and interviews the caterpillar. Right? Nobody goes back and, and checks the scene to say, it's almost like, I don't even know what you call it. Right? It's like that. You know what? I know that I'm done with this forum. I knows I'm done with this state of being and I'm ready for my transition. Like where is that fucking trigger? Like who does that? Where's that decision made? I'm done. I'm done being a caterpillar. You really can't first of all, maybe you could maybe be like, Hey, where are you going caterpillar on my way to you know morph. I'm on my way to destroy everything I've ever known ever been. So that I may become this this other things fluttery, fucking black guy. And I think about that because there's a guy another guy back in, when I first kind of got started in the space of just, you know, self development, and whatnot. You brought it up because nobody really wants to hear you going through your shit. Right? Nobody really wants to hear about you going through your shit. They just want to know how do you fix it? Because if you're still in this shit, people are just like, I'm in my shit to your and your shit. I'm in my shit. We're all in the sick. We're in the shit together. Right? I mean, you hear people say that. Hey, we're in this shit together. Nobody ever says you know you never hear somebody you know talking about being interviewed while you're in the shit. You hear about people you know kind of before they hit the shit. Oh, wow. They were great people this is how they were before then. Right? Oh, you know, Mary was fantastic until you know somebody spiked to drink one night after that it's all going to shift or Jerry was great until fucking you know we lost a job and then it all went downhill from there. Nobody see nobody ever talks to the person really, while they're going through the shit. Right? Oh yeah, but he rebounded and now he's great. Oh yeah, but she's rebounded in Nazareth What the fuck happened in the middle there happened in the chrysalis state because again, totally destroyed everything that ever was and that you don't really see that with I think humans too much a lot of times you'll run into somebody from high school or school or an old work colleague and that's pretty much the same as you remember. Maybe a couple quirks or differences or children. But for the most part, they're pretty much not not a whole lot has changed the butterfly. Completely different than the caterpillar like, I mean, two totally two totally different things, right. You don't go over there and say, Oh, hey, look, there's a baby butterfly over there. A butterfly being caterpillar. Like there's a caterpillar. There's a cocoon. There's a butterfly. So what happens in the middle there? And I think that that's, you know, I think that Unknown Speaker 6:23 some of those pieces that get lost some of those are the pieces that get lost we Brandon Handley 6:32 we love we love the rebound story. We don't really love to hear about like, kind of what went through the middle there like Oh, shit, man, I was freaking out. Oh, shit, man, this is really scary. Oh, shit, man. Like I was a mess. I wasn't really sure it was gonna work out. But you know, I just kept putting one foot in front of the other. And lo and behold, here I am. For you listen to this podcast. And you know, that a lot of the people that that are on the show, it's not linear, right? There's an idea. And even with that linearity, even if you've got the one person who's like, hey, in five years is where I'll be in my life. They've got the plan. They've got it all fucking worked out in five years. They're their whole fucking right. Right. But while it may appear linear, on the outside, I can guarantee that it was not the universe is not linear. promise you that. It's not linear. We know that it's possible for time to be reversed. Right and small, literally atomic units. So you know, what happens in the middle there? What happens in the chrysalis state what invokes the chrysalis state? Have you gone through it? Have you? Noticeably purposely intentionally said, I invoke the chrysalis state? And what happened in the middle there? Because I don't think we hear enough about that. We hear about the caterpillar, we hear about the butterfly. We never really, we don't interview the caterpillar after the fact we don't gave it's not possible. And we never really get to see kind of what's happening inside that chrysalis state outside of the fact that it's done in a safe space. Right. There's a wall there's a cocoon like that's hardened it's a chrysalis crystalline state even as it's becoming so love to hear any stories you've got as what was it like for you to invoke the chrysalis state? What was it like to be inside of it? Was it like coming out on the other side? In regards to linearity? What was that like? Hit me up Brandon at spiritual dope.co. We'll chat later. President Joe Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris set up their circus act under the big top of the Capitol Building on January 6, scolding Donald Trump and expressing fear of a future in America where violence is the new norm. Noticeably absent was any criticism of violence from BLM or the violent protests in Seattle, Portland or elsewhere. Selective outrage and using the U.S. Capitol as a prop for political gain are worse than last year's riot itself.

Greta Thunberg continues her crusade to fight climate change by blasting the United States, while remaining eerily silent on far more egregious polluters like China and India. Why? Also, it appears the floundering campaign of Terry McAuliffe, Democrat candidate for Virginia governor, has hit a new low - as his staffers appear to be outed on social media for staging political theater as five white nationalists supporting Republican Glenn Youngkin.
