En Administrativos, ojo a las nuevas plazas de Auxiliar Administrativo: 29 en la Diputación de Tarragona, 13 en el Ayuntamiento de Figueres (Girona) y 11 en el Ayuntamiento de Alcalá de Henares. Además, la Generalitat Valenciana prepara una OEP 2026 de más de 2.600 plazas, con unas 500 previstas para Auxiliar Administrativo. En Policía, Andalucía ha publicado un decreto que regula el ingreso y la convocatoria unificada de Policía Local, y en Castilla y León se habla de iniciar en mayo de 2026 la gestión/arranque del modelo unificado. En paralelo, se investiga un posible amaño en oposiciones de Policía Local en Galicia (se mencionan ofertas de pinganillos) y sigue bajo investigación el supuesto fraude en el examen de Seguridad Social en Galicia. Temario de informática: ¡Atención! Las preguntas de informática para Auxiliares y Administrativos ahora se refieren a Windows 11, no a Windows 10. 2. Ayudantes de Investigación de Organismos Públicos de Investigación El 26 de diciembre de 2025, se convocaron 468 plazas (turno libre) y 55 (promoción interna) 3. Oposiciones de la Seguridad Social Cuerpo Administrativo: Convocadas el 31 de diciembre de 2025, con 1.056 plazas (turno libre) y 400 (promoción interna). Gestión de la Administración de la Seguridad Social: Convocadas el 30 de diciembre de 2025, con 526 plazas (turno libre) y 995 (promoción interna). 4. Oposiciones de Justicia El 30 de diciembre de 2025 se publicaron las convocatorias para Justicia: Gestión Procesal: 725 plazas (turno libre). Para promoción interna, la convocatoria salió el 2 de enero de 2026, con 363 plazas. Tramitación Procesal: 1.155 plazas (turno libre) y 578 (promoción interna). Auxilio Judicial: 425 plazas (turno libre). ¡Información crucial en Justicia! Exámenes el mismo día y a la misma hora: Los tres procesos selectivos de Justicia (Gestión, Tramitación y Auxilio) tendrán lugar el mismo día y comenzarán simultáneamente. Esto significa que deberás elegir solo una oposición para presentarte. Todos los ejercicios en un mismo día: Si bien esto puede ser agotador, la ventaja es que las notas se publicarán mucho antes. 5. Oposiciones de Hacienda En Agentes de Hacienda, el 30 de diciembre de 2025 se convocaron 1.000 plazas (turno libre) y 400 (promoción interna). Novedades en Hacienda: Menos preguntas, menos tiempo: El primer ejercicio ha reducido el número de preguntas y, para turno libre, también el tiempo disponible. Cambios en el programa: Si ya venías estudiando, revisa bien el temario actualizado. Es normal sentir frustración ante los cambios de temario o las modificaciones en los procesos selectivos. Es crucial entender que las oposiciones son un proceso a largo plazo, y la actualización constante de conocimientos es parte de él. No es "volver a empezar", es "actualizar" lo que ya sabes. Plazos para presentar solicitudes Recuerda que estos son los plazos máximos para presentar tu solicitud y pagar la tasa: AGE (Cuerpos Generales): Hasta el 22 de enero de 2026. Ayudantes de Investigación (OPI): Hasta el 27 de enero de 2026. Auxilio Judicial, Tramitación Procesal y Gestión Procesal: Hasta el 29 de enero de 2026. Gestión Administrativa de la Seguridad Social: Hasta el 29 de enero de 2026. Agentes de Hacienda: Hasta el 29 de enero de 2026. Cuerpo Administrativo de la Seguridad Social: Hasta el 30 de enero de 2026. Gestión Procesal y Administrativa de Justicia (promoción interna): Hasta el 2 de febrero de 2026. Nuestro consejo es que no lo dejes para el final. Acreditar el desempleo o solucionar posibles problemas bancarios puede llevar tiempo. Presenta tu instancia cuanto antes para evitar imprevistos. Fechas de examen confirmadas A fecha de hoy, estas son las fechas de examen confirmadas: Ayudantes de Instituciones Penitenciarias: 18 de enero de 2026 (convocatoria anterior, pero es una oposición frecuente). Carrera Judicial y Fiscal: 1 de febrero de 2026 (convocatoria anterior). Cuerpo Especial de Instituciones Penitenciarias y Cuerpo Superior de Técnicos de Instituciones Penitenciarias (Juristas): 8 de febrero de 2026. Cuerpo Auxiliar Administrativo de la Universidad de Salamanca: 11 de abril de 2026. Celadores del Servicio de Salud de Castilla-La Mancha: 18 de abril de 2026. Previsión orientativa para la AGE La Comisión Permanente de Selección ha publicado un cronograma orientativo que sitúa los exámenes de la AGE el 23 de mayo de 2026. Esto es solo una previsión y puede cambiar. Hemos destacado las oposiciones con un gran número de plazas. La DGT ha incorporado 101 nuevos examinadores —tras oposición y curso habilitante— repartidos entre 46 Jefaturas Provinciales, lo que eleva la cobertura de la plantilla al 97% y sitúa al colectivo con la mayor tasa de reposición del organismo. Estas plazas proceden de las OEP 2023-2024 del Cuerpo General Administrativo, especialidad Tráfico (creada en 2017); desde entonces se han sumado 732 examinadores, más que en cualquier otro colectivo de la DGT en la última década. El refuerzo busca acelerar el ritmo de pruebas y mejorar el servicio en provincias con mayor demanda. Además de los funcionarios recién incorporados, en 2025 se añadieron 23 interinos por acumulación de tareas y se prevé sumar 17 más para picos estacionales. Send us a textParsonage-Turner Syndrome can mimic several other shoulder conditions, leading to misdiagnosis and ineffective treatment if not properly identified and differentiated.• PTS typically presents with sudden onset of severe shoulder pain lasting 2-3 weeks, often triggered by viruses or vaccinations• Common symptoms include limited active and passive range of motion, weakness, atrophy (especially in deltoids), and sometimes altered sensation• Rotator cuff tears differ by having better passive than active motion and usually having a clear mechanism of injury• Cervical nerve root compression can be distinguished by performing Spurling's test and gentle cervical traction• Adhesive capsulitis has a slower onset than PTS and typically doesn't cause the significant atrophy seen in PTS cases• Diagnostic imaging should be used after thorough clinical examination to confirm suspected diagnosis• EMG/nerve conduction studies are most helpful for confirming PTS after 3-4 weeks of symptoms• Always check for skin changes like pustules or rashes that might indicate shingles, which can cause brachial neuritisJoin us for our upcoming live course on May 31st, 2025 where we'll cover more differential diagnoses like these. From diagnostic challenges to treatment options, these Q&As provide practical guidance for patients experiencing hip, foot, and knee conditions.• Young adults with hip pain that mimics arthritis might actually have labral tears or femoral acetabular impingement requiring MR arthrogram for diagnosis • Morton's neuroma and metatarsalgia can coexist because they share common causes like calf tightness and forefoot pressure• Metatarsalgia encompasses several diagnoses including sesamoiditis, capsulitis, and plantar plate tears• Morton's neuroma typically causes paresthesia in the third/fourth toes with sharp, shocking pain• Treatment for foot conditions includes orthotics, stretching, metatarsal pads and intrinsic strengthening• ACL tears won't heal themselves, but some patients can function well without surgical repair• Secondary restraints (menisci, capsule, muscles) significantly influence knee stability after ACL injury• Non-athletes and those avoiding cutting/pivoting sports are better candidates for non-surgical ACL management

This episode completes our four-part series on tendon repair rehabilitation with practical guidance for therapists and patients navigating the return to higher-level activities.• By 12 weeks, patients should have nearly full knee range of motion and natural gait on level surfaces• Continue avoiding high-impact activities and forceful eccentric contractions• Progress balance training from double to single leg, stable to unstable surfaces• Advance cardiovascular training with stationary bike and elliptical• Implement forward, backward and lateral walking with resistance for gait training• Begin closed chain quad exercises with mini squats up to 70° knee flexion• Carefully progress core exercises considering tension on the extensor mechanism• Transition to higher activities around 4 months when meeting specific functional criteria• Work on deceleration activities and controlled change of direction• Progress from assisted hopping to full body weight jumping activities• Take a more conservative approach with smokers or less active patients• Be aware that quinolone antibiotics increase rupture risk during rehabilitationIf you're listening before May 31st, 2025 and interested in my upcoming live shoulder course in Auburn, Maine, check out the agenda on my website through the link in the show notes.✅Are you looking for One on one Coaching? Send us a textHow to Perform the Hoffman's Test: In Today's episode I talk about...-Diagnoses we need to consider when a patient has a positive Hoffman's test.-How to perform the test.-Recommendations for what to do when a patient has a positive Hoffman's test.✅ Here's how to perform the Hoffman's Test:        1.          Patient needs to be relaxed (sitting or lying down)      2.          Be sure the thumb and index fingers are slightly flexed and relaxed.      3.          Hold or stabilize the patient's middle finger at the distal IP joint.      4.          Use your finger nail and “flick” the tip of the patient's finger nail in a dorsal to palmar direction.      5.          Keep an eye on the thumb and index finger.      6.          The test is positive if the thumb and index finger flex and/or the thumb adducts. (could be both or one)
