Předchází tomu školení v režii pacientské organizace, která poučí hostitele a vybere mu takového „kamaráda“, s nimž by si měli rozumět. Třeba mají společné záliby a zájmy.

Noah talks to curator Robin K Williams about the exhibition Daniel Johnston: I Live My Broken Dreams, organized by The Contemporary Austin, Daniel Johnston: I Live My Broken Dreams is the first-ever museum survey of works by the visionary musician and visual artist Daniel Johnston (1961 – 2019). Best known for his music, Johnston was also an accomplished artist who exhibited his comic-inspired drawings during his lifetime. Yet, apart from his iconic “Hi, How Are You?” mural, painted in Austin in 1993, his abundant visual art remains little-known to most audiences. This exhibition will provide a rich presentation of Johnston's work across disciplines, enabling visitors to explore the intricate connections between his prolific corpus of music and visual art. In addition to a selection of Johnston's drawings and paintings, the presentation will include the artist's home-recorded music and movies, as well as documentary footage of him rehearsing and performing. This exhibition is conceived by Heather Pesanti and Robin K. Williams and organized by Robin K. Williams in close collaboration with The Daniel Johnston Trust. The Daniel Johnston Trust is Dick Johnston, Executor; Lee Foster, Curatorial Advisor; and Donny Veloz, Administrative Manager. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/noah-becker4/support

ZYRACK DEAN OSMON is the lead Toronto/Ontario Regional Representative (East Coast) with Ignite Artists. ZYRACK DEAN OSMON - THE MORE WE TALK ABOUT THE ISSUES THE MORE THE UNIVERSE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT! "I would like to GIVE BACK to our artists, as much as my very first mentor in the game, Lana Costea of Windsor Ontario to whom I am forever grateful for her guidance." - Zyrack Dean Osmon Zyrack Dean Osmon has been a performer since a little child. Being mentored under the guidance of Lana Costea, while being instructed for 5 years in cello, voice, choir and acting. Furthering his growth attending high school at Walkerville Collegiate Institute & School of Performing Arts. Understanding his strong desire for performance, Dean earned an International Fashion contract with MacDonald & Richards Model Management in NYC where he stayed for 6 years. Some of his NY achievements include but not limited to: Working with Robin K. Miller Prods. on a TV Pilot Series called “Gimme A Shot!” He later went on to co-found Full Blaze Records in Queens, NY – where he developed, recorded, and pitched artists to MCI Records. In 2001 Dean won both the NYC Daytime ABC network vocal competition and VH1 network’s “Celebrity Look-a-Like” competition, as Lenny Kravitz. At the Producer’s Club Theater (Off-Broadway), he landed a role in the production of “Black Man’s Blues” before finally returning home to Canada. Transitioning into film & TV in Toronto, he was able to land a guest star role in the TV Series “Show Me Yours” while continuing his fashion modeling career with NAM Model Management and Giovanni Model Management. You may recognize Dean in Lava Life’s first Canadian National Dating Service Commercial in 2002. In 2007 Dean moved to Vancouver to further his Film & TV aspirations while training with Linda Darlow before landing roles in a clearly contact commercial and TV series such a Human Target and features such as Tron - Legacy. In 2010 he moved to the agent/management side of his career. Creating and heading up InspirationALL Talent & Modeling Group’s film, TV, commercial, and background Divisions. He worked Briefly with “Top Talent” agency before launching his own talent agency Maijah Lewk of 8 years; along the way Dean fell in love with the development, management and mentoring of talent. Then in 2020 after taking a break from management to focus on family (something we value very highly at Ignite Artists) he jumped back into his passion and joined the Ignite Team. We are SO happy to have his caring heart and vast industry knowledge on our team! At Ignite Talent Agency, our mission is to foster lasting relationships with talented artists; managing our artists with compassion and integrity, so they can thrive in the global entertainment industry. We also strive to include actors with disabilities, those with unique special skills and visible minorities on our roster so that the film industry is proportionally representing everyone from all walks of life. I think women are perfectly well suited for it. These things do tend to take on a life of their own, so if there are a lot of men in the field, it becomes a male dominated field because others tend to follow that trend.” – Robin K. Hill. "As an artist you have to remember that you are always working. And you’re not just working when you are in the studio actually making something. You are working when you’re sleeping, dreaming, reading, looking at other peoples art, having conversations, and tripping over a rock. It’s all a part of your practice. To be able to embrace every element of your life as being a part of your practice takes the pressure off of going to the studio and the blank page. Just think of your studio as another tool." Bio courtesy of Alyssa's website Alyssa Taylor Wendt (http://alyssataylorwendt.com/projects/) is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker and curator that works in Austin, Texas and Detroit, Michigan. Her recent projects reference themes of ritual, animism, monuments, mysticism, the primordial, architecture, gender and mortality using video, sculpture, staged photographs, sound and performance. The work tends to provoke questions in the viewer with dark and evocative aesthetics and multiple layers of perceived truth. She earned her BA from NYU and her MFA from Bard College. Transplanted from New York City, she has shown in numerous national and international exhibitions and performed at The Museum of Art and Design in New York, envoy gallery, The Fusebox Festival and Deitch Projects and completed residencies in Iceland and Norway. She is currently finishing her opus multi-channel video work HAINT and just curated an epic exhibition about death and transformation with over 60 artists at DEMO Gallery in Austin. She enjoys darkness, gospel blues and bad jokes. The following text courtesy of the Visual Arts Center website Alyssa Taylor Wendt: HAINT (https://sites.utexas.edu/utvac/alyssa-taylor-wendt-haint/) January 25 – February 22, 2019 HAINT is an immersive, three-channel video installation by Austin-based artist and curator Alyssa Taylor Wendt. Filmed over the course of three years in Croatia, Detroit, and Texas, the individual channels unfold in counterpoint with one another to create a haunting meditation on the ways we process history, both as individuals and as a culture. The piece draws on motifs from Wendt’s personal cosmology and explores the associative powers of perception, cycles of history and ruination, and the spiritual energy that objects, the landscape, and architectural spaces carry with them. Using Eastern European songs, voiceover, opera, black metal drones, and ambient sound, HAINT combines images of post-war architecture, monuments, and ruins to create a poetic investigation of war, memory, and storytelling. In addition to the video, the exhibition includes sculptural elements and a collection of staged production photographs that intersect with the video’s multifaceted narrative. This exhibition is organized by MacKenzie Stevens, Director, Visual Arts Center, with Clare Donnelly, Gallery Manager, Visual Arts Center and Robin K. Williams, Ph.D. candidate in Art History at The University of Texas at Austin.
