Today's guest is Martin Bingisser. Martin is the founder of HMMR Media, one of the most trusted independent voices in throws and track & field education. A former competitive hammer thrower, Martin blends firsthand experience with deep historical and technical insight to analyze training methods, athlete development, and coaching culture. Through articles, videos, and interviews, his work bridges elite practice and practical coaching, earning him respect from coaches and performance professionals around the world. In a world of rapid-information delivery and short attention spans, the wisdom of master coaches is becoming increasingly rare. Martin has spent substantial time with two legends in the coaching world, Anatoliy Bondarchuk and Vern Gambetta. Spending time discussing the work of the past, and wisdom through the present is a critical practice in forming an effective coaching viewpoint. On today's episode I chat with Martin in a wide-ranging conversation in coaching lessons on efficiency, adaptability, and performing under pressure (two throws, no warmups, huge crowds). We transition into Bondarchuk's training philosophy: exercise classification, consistency, “strength” as sport-specific force production, and why weight-room PRs can distract from performance. The episode closes with motor-learning insights on rhythm, holistic cues, and how Vern Gambetta's “general” work complements specificity. Stronger eccentric abilities allow athletes to tolerate higher forces with less breakdown. Use controlled eccentric work to improve robustness without chasing constant intensity. 15:40 – Isometrics depend on intent, not just position Holding a position is not enough to drive adaptation. Martin emphasizes producing force into the immovable position to create meaningful stimulus. Cue effort and intent during isometrics instead of passively holding time. 24:30 – Tendon stiffness supports speed and efficiency Tendons transmit force, they do not just store it. Training should respect gradual loading to avoid disrupting tendon health. Elastic qualities improve when stiffness and timing are trained together. 33:50 – Fatigue management shapes training quality Not all fatigue is productive. Martin highlights watching bar speed, coordination, and effort quality to guide decisions. End sets when movement quality degrades rather than chasing prescribed numbers. 42:15 – Match training tools to the desired adaptation Eccentrics, isometrics, and dynamics all serve different purposes. Martin stresses selecting methods based on the adaptation you want, not trends. Blend methods thoughtfully instead of stacking stressors blindly. 51:20 – Daily readiness should influence loading Athletes do not arrive the same every day. Use simple readiness cues like bar speed and coordination to adjust training. Flexibility in programming helps preserve long term progress. 1:00:10 – Durability is built over time, not rushed Long term development requires patience and consistency. Martin reinforces gradual progression to protect connective tissue. not short term peaks. Quotes from Martin Bingisser “Eccentric strength is what allows athletes to absorb and redirect force safely.” “An isometric only works if there is intent behind it.” “Tendons are not passive structures, they are active contributors to performance.” “Fatigue is not the enemy, but unmanaged fatigue is.” “You have to choose training tools based on what you want to adapt.” “Readiness is not about feelings, it is about what you observe.” “Durability comes from respecting time and progression.” About Martin Bingisser Martin Bingisser is the founder of HMMR Media, one of the most respected independent platforms covering throws, strength training, and track & field performance. In this episode of the Crazy Wisdom Podcast, host Stewart Alsop interviews Aurelio Gialluca, an economist and full stack data professional who works across finance, retail, and AI as both a data engineer and machine learning developer, while also exploring human consciousness and psychology. Their wide-ranging conversation covers the intersection of science and psychology, the unique cultural characteristics that make Argentina a haven for eccentrics (drawing parallels to the United States), and how Argentine culture has produced globally influential figures from Borges to Maradona to Che Guevara. They explore the current AI landscape as a "centralizing force" creating cultural homogenization (particularly evident in LinkedIn's cookie-cutter content), discuss the potential futures of AI development from dystopian surveillance states to anarchic chaos, and examine how Argentina's emotionally mature, non-linear communication style might offer insights for navigating technological change. The conversation concludes with Gialluca describing his ambitious project to build a custom water-cooled workstation with industrial-grade processors for his quantitative hedge fund, highlighting the practical challenges of heat management and the recent tripling of RAM prices due to market consolidation.Timestams00:00 Exploring the Intersection of Psychology and Science02:55 Cultural Eccentricity: Argentina vs. the United States05:36 The Influence of Religion on National Identity08:50 The Unique Argentine Cultural Landscape11:49 Soft Power and Cultural Influence14:48 Political Figures and Their Cultural Impact17:50 The Role of Sports in Shaping National Identity20:49 The Evolution of Argentine Music and Subcultures23:41 AI and the Future of Cultural Dynamics26:47 Navigating the Chaos of AI in Culture33:50 Equilibrating Society for a Sustainable Future35:10 The Patchwork Age: Decentralization and Society35:56 The Impact of AI on Human Connection38:06 Individualism vs. Collective Rules in Society39:26 The Future of AI and Global Regulations40:16 Biotechnology: The Next Frontier42:19 Building a Personal AI Lab45:51 Tiers of AI Labs: From Personal to Industrial48:35 Mathematics and AI: The Foundation of Innovation52:12 Stochastic Models and Predictive Analytics55:47 Building a Supercomputer: Hardware InsightsKey Insights1. Argentina's Cultural Exceptionalism and Emotional Maturity: Argentina stands out globally for allowing eccentrics to flourish and having a non-linear communication style that Gialluca describes as "non-monotonous systems." Argentines can joke profoundly and be eccentric while simultaneously being completely organized and straightforward, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and maturity that comes from their unique cultural blend of European romanticism and Latino lightheartedness.2. Argentina as an Underrecognized Cultural Superpower: Despite being introverted about their achievements, Argentina produces an enormous amount of global culture through music, literature, and iconic figures like Borges, Maradona, Messi, and Che Guevara. These cultural exports have shaped entire generations worldwide, with Argentina "stealing the thunder" from other nations and creating lasting soft power influence that people don't fully recognize as Argentine.3. AI's Cultural Impact Follows Oscillating Patterns: Culture operates as a dynamic system that oscillates between centralization and decentralization like a sine wave. AI currently represents a massive centralizing force, as seen in LinkedIn's homogenized content, but this will inevitably trigger a decentralization phase. The speed of this cultural transformation has accelerated dramatically, with changes that once took generations now happening in years.4. The Coming Bifurcation of AI Futures: Gialluca identifies two extreme possible endpoints for AI development: complete centralized control (the "Mordor" scenario with total surveillance) or complete chaos where everyone has access to dangerous capabilities like creating weapons or viruses. Finding a middle path between these extremes is essential for society's survival, requiring careful equilibrium between accessibility and safety.5. Individual AI Labs Are Becoming Democratically Accessible: Gialluca outlines a tier system for AI capabilities, where individuals can now build "tier one" labs capable of fine-tuning models and processing massive datasets for tens of thousands of dollars. This democratization means that capabilities once requiring teams of PhD scientists can now be achieved by dedicated individuals, fundamentally changing the landscape of AI development and access.6. Hardware Constraints Are the New Limiting Factor: While AI capabilities are rapidly advancing, practical implementation is increasingly constrained by hardware availability and cost. RAM prices have tripled in recent months, and the challenge of managing enormous heat output from powerful processors requires sophisticated cooling systems. These physical limitations are becoming the primary bottleneck for individual AI development.7. Data Quality Over Quantity Is the Critical Challenge: The main bottleneck for AI advancement is no longer energy or GPUs, but high-quality data for training. Early data labeling efforts produced poor results because labelers lacked domain expertise. The future lies in reinforcement learning (RL) environments where AI systems can generate their own high-quality training data, representing a fundamental shift in how AI systems learn and develop.

On July 29, Gallup published a new poll showing American support for Israel's military action in Gaza at a historic low. But a strong majority (71 percent) of Republicans say they approve of Israel's conduct in Gaza, and that is up from 66 percent in September. Of Israel's military action in Iran, 78 percent of Republicans approve. And 67 percent of Republicans have a favorable opinion of Israel's prime minister. Even as the broader American public continues to cool on Israel, Republican support for Israel's conduct of the war isn't just holding steady—it's actually strengthening. Earlier this week, the speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, visited Judea and Samaria, and had dinner with the prime minster in the biblical city of Shiloh. Here's what makes Gallup's findings so remarkable: if you spent any time on right-wing social media over the past months, you'd expect to see Republican support for Israel cratering. But peer beneath the surface of the online discourse, and a more complicated picture emerges. Republican voters not only remain steadfast but are actually becoming more supportive, even as influential voices—influential especially with the young—are striking out in a very different direction. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, once a reliable Trump ally, now calls the Gaza war a genocide. Tucker Carlson's social-media engagement spikes whenever he advances an anti-Israel narrative, hosts an anti-Israel guest, or moots anti-Israel conspiracy theories. Even some longtime pro-Israel voices from the right have made themselves unwitting tools of Hamas and Iranian propaganda. Our guest this week is the Hudson Institute senior fellow Michael Doran, and our subject is Israel and the American right. Of course, the disjuncture between Republican voters and the most prominent and loudest voices in Republican media is not a new story. When you train your eyes on that fact, the entire Trump era, from his 2016 campaign forward, has seen the emergence of a new media elite whose views simply do not convey the attitudes of their base as well as the president himself does. But of course the Trump era will end in a few years, and the contours and debate within the post-Trump right over attitudes toward Israel is being shaped right now.
All Bones Considered: Laurel Hill Stories #076 The July 2025 episode tells of five people who really didn't fit anywhere else. Morton McMichael Hoyt married the same woman three times and once jumped off a steamship to impress a 17-year-old girl. Major Wakeman Griffin Gribbel was gassed and wounded during the Great War; during one of several psychotic breaks, he mortally wounded a police officer, but a jury found him “not guilty.” Fellow guide and amateur cemetery historian Tom Keels tells the rollicking story of Mabel Tinsley, one of the great con artists of the Gilded Age. Louis Bossle was the city's best-known ratcatcher; when he died, his nickname “Ratcatcher Lou” was carved on his obelisk. Tom Keels returns for a segment on one of our Civil War generals Richard Naglee, whose California vineyards made the finest brandy in the land, but whose amorous ventures got him in deep trouble more than once. These five people come together under one podcast on July 1st, then each individual gets their own podcast on the 2nd through the 6th.
Somewhere along the line in planning my Pride 2025 episodes, I hit upon the idea of paying tribute to Gay Eccentrics. (Maybe because I am one of them myself?) There are many mad queer geniuses in the history of music, and I have chosen today to focus on three twentieth-century case studies. First, the husband and husband team of Norman Notley (1890 – 1980) and David Brynley (1902 – 1981), musical and artistic polymaths who settled in the small Dorset village of Corfe Castle. They were both members of the innocuously-named New English Singers, which was actually an early version of the high-caliber vocal chamber ensembles in such profusion today. In recent times their archives have been digitized and exhibited at the Dorset Museum and Art Gallery, which has led to their story going viral. In 1957 while living in the US, the pair made a recording of Elizabethan Songs that is a model of its kind and is featured on the episode. Next up us Gerald Hugh Tyrwhitt-Wilson (1883 – 1950), much better known as Lord Berners, the quintessential upper-class British eccentric who also happened to be the leading British avant-garde composer of his day (as well as a “notorious” homosexual!) I feature an excerpt from his single opera as well as a passel of songs from his small output. Finally, we cross the Atlantic to encounter the prescience, acerbic wit and borderline insanity of Ben Bagley (1933 – 1998), the producer of off-Broadway theatrical revues and a series of recordings featuring unknown material by the top Broadway composers of the day, including fellow gay eccentrics Cole Porter and Lorenz Hart. I may be a day late with this week's episode, but I'm definitely not a dollar short! This episode has something for everyone! Countermelody is a podcast devoted to the glory and the power of the human voice raised in song. Singer and vocal aficionado Daniel Gundlach explores great singers of the past and present focusing in particular on those who are less well-remembered today than they should be. Daniel's lifetime in music as a professional countertenor, pianist, vocal coach, voice teacher, and journalist yields an exciting array of anecdotes, impressions, and “inside stories.” At Countermelody's core is the celebration of great singers of all stripes, their instruments, and the connection they make to the words they sing. Dr. Keith Baar is a Professor at the University of California, Davis in the Department of Physiology and Membrane Biology. During his Ph.D. studies, his research revealed that mechanical strain on muscle fibers activates the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway, a crucial regulator of muscular hypertrophy. Subsequently, he studied the molecular dynamics of skeletal muscle adaptation to endurance training under the guidance of Dr. John Holloszy, a legend in the field of exercise physiology, considered the father of modern exercise biochemistry. Building on all of this experience, he conducted research into tendon health and the potential for engineering ligaments, which could have implications for treatment and recovery from injuries.Sponsors:Cresset prestigious family office for CEOs, founders, and entrepreneurs: https://cressetcapital.com/tim (book a call today)AG1 all-in-one nutritional supplement: https://DrinkAG1.com/Tim (1-year supply of Vitamin D (and 5 free AG1 travel packs) with your first subscription purchase.)Shopify global commerce platform, providing tools to start, grow, market, and manage a retail business: https://shopify.com/tim (one-dollar-per-month trial period)*Links to everything discussed: https://tim.blog/2025/02/26/dr-keith-baar/Timestamps:[00:00:00] Start [00:07:12] How I discovered Keith's work through a tweet about tennis elbow and rock climbing.[00:07:54] Emil Abrahamsson's hangboard training protocol.[00:09:20] The fundamental principles of strength training and connective tissue adaptation.[00:10:36] mTOR complex 1 and its role in muscle growth.[00:12:06] Engineered ligaments and the discovery of minimal effective doses for tendon adaptation.[00:13:50] The refractory period between optimal tendon loading sessions.[00:16:42] Rapamycin's effects on muscle hypertrophy.[00:18:49] Protocols for tennis elbow rehabilitation.[00:20:28] Why isometrics work better than eccentrics for tendon healing.[00:22:14] Stress shielding and how load distribution affects tendon healing.[00:29:07] The misconception about eccentric loading for tendon injuries and why velocity matters.[00:29:58] Ideal duration for isometric holds (10-30 seconds) based on injury status.[00:33:50] My elbow issues and current rehab approach.[00:36:02] Overcoming vs. yielding isometrics and optimal loading strategies.[00:47:11] Dr. Barr's movement prescription for my tennis elbow.[00:52:18] Loading timing post-surgery and RICE protocol criticism.[00:56:58] Achilles tendon rehabilitation after surgery.[01:00:18] Critique of orthopedic suturing techniques and recommendation for resorbable sutures.[01:04:02] Multiple position isometrics for tennis elbow rehabilitation.[01:07:26] Collagen synthesis, supplementation, and vitamin C timing.[01:12:59] Critique of BPC-157 and other injectable peptides for tendon healing.[01:18:19] Evaluation of orthobiologics' (PRP, prolotherapy, stem cells) effectiveness.[01:21:37] JAK-STAT inhibitor drugs and their effects on tendon growth.[01:25:35] Drugs that increase risk of tendon ruptures (fluoroquinolones, AT-1 receptor drugs).[01:29:33] How estrogen affects tendon stiffness and injury risk in women.[01:32:48] Testosterone's opposite effects on tendon compared to estrogen.[01:35:31] Protein intake recommendations and timing.[01:40:11] Ketogenic diet effects on mitochondrial biogenesis and longevity.[01:41:57] Comparison of ketogenic diet, low protein diet, and rapamycin for longevity.[01:47:19] Inflammation's role in adaptation and when to reduce it.[01:51:17] Timing of ice baths relative to training for optimal recovery.[01:52:33] Parting thoughts.*For show notes and past guests on The Tim Ferriss Show, please visit tim.blog/podcast.For deals from sponsors of The Tim Ferriss Show, please visit tim.blog/podcast-sponsorsSign up for Tim's email newsletter (5-Bullet Friday) at tim.blog/friday.For transcripts of episodes, go to tim.blog/transcripts.Discover Tim's books: tim.blog/books.Follow Tim:Twitter: twitter.com/tferriss Instagram: instagram.com/timferrissYouTube: youtube.com/timferrissFacebook: facebook.com/timferriss LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/timferrissPast guests on The Tim Ferriss Show include Jerry Seinfeld, Hugh Jackman, Dr. Jane Goodall, LeBron James, Kevin Hart, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Jamie Foxx, Matthew McConaughey, Esther Perel, Elizabeth Gilbert, Terry Crews, Sia, Yuval Noah Harari, Malcolm Gladwell, Madeleine Albright, Cheryl Strayed, Jim Collins, Mary Karr, Maria Popova, Sam Harris, Michael Phelps, Bob Iger, Edward Norton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Neil Strauss, Ken Burns, Maria Sharapova, Marc Andreessen, Neil Gaiman, Neil de Grasse Tyson, Jocko Willink, Daniel Ek, Kelly Slater, Dr. Peter Attia, Seth Godin, Howard Marks, Dr. Brené Brown, Eric Schmidt, Michael Lewis, Joe Gebbia, Michael Pollan, Dr. Jordan Peterson, Vince Vaughn, Brian Koppelman, Ramit Sethi, Dax Shepard, Tony Robbins, Jim Dethmer, Dan Harris, Ray Dalio, Naval Ravikant, Vitalik Buterin, Elizabeth Lesser, Amanda Palmer, Katie Haun, Sir Richard Branson, Chuck Palahniuk, Arianna Huffington, Reid Hoffman, Bill Burr, Whitney Cummings, Rick Rubin, Dr. Vivek Murthy, Darren Aronofsky, Margaret Atwood, Mark Zuckerberg, Peter Thiel, Dr. Gabor Maté, Anne Lamott, Sarah Silverman, Dr. Andrew Huberman, and many more.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

In this episode of the Pacey Performance Podcast, Rob speaks to Anthony Donskov about reflexive eccentrics. Reflexive eccentric training is gaining recognition for its role in improving athletic performance and reducing injury risk. In this episode, Anthony breaks down the principles, programming, and practical applications of this training method, emphasizing the importance of stiffness, speed, and strategic progressions in athlete development. Anthony discusses how reflexive eccentrics involve rapid eccentric contractions that enhance force absorption and control. This method is especially relevant for high-level athletes, as it trains deceleration, stability, and explosive reacceleration—all key for sports like hockey. He highlights the importance of clear external cues, such as “grabbing the floor” or “being stiff,” to help athletes optimize landing mechanics and movement efficiency. The conversation also covers programming considerations, including off-season vs. in-season adaptations, how to balance heavy lifting with reflexive movements, and reducing muscle soreness while maximizing explosiveness. Anthony outlines a three-day cycle of training that incorporates heavy lifts, submaximal speed work, and strategic plyometrics. He stresses the need for individualized assessments, using player cards and radar graphs to track progress and adjust training accordingly. Despite the challenges in measuring reflexive eccentric adaptations, improvements in jump height, net impulse, and rate of force development suggest their effectiveness. He concludes by emphasizing the importance of structured strength, recovery, and flexibility in athlete programming, advocating for tissue remodeling and long-duration isometrics to reduce stiffness and chronic injury risk. This episode is packed with practical insights for coaches and practitioners looking to integrate reflexive eccentrics into their performance programs. Main talking points: • Reflexive eccentrics enhance speed, stiffness, and reacceleration • Rapid eccentric contractions improve force absorption and control • Training should be tailored to athlete experience levels • Clear external cues optimize movement efficiency and stiffness • Off-season training should focus on stiffness and strength • A three-day cycle balances heavy lifts and speed work • Reflexive eccentrics reduce muscle soreness and improve explosiveness • Tissue remodeling and isometrics help prevent chronic injuries
In this episode of the Braun Performance & Rehab Podcast, Dan is joined by Patrick "Pat" Lewis to discuss his framework for applying eccentrics and isometrics in sports performance programming, in particular in relation to basketball.Patrick Lewis joined the Charlotte staff as the Director of Men's Basketball Sports Performance in August 2023 and the 2024-25 season will be Lewis' second as a 49er. Lewis arrived in the Queen City after serving as the Director of Basketball Performance at Jacksonville University since May 2021. Lewis' coaching career began in May 2018 as an Intern Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Florida, where he worked alongside the basketball, golf, and tennis programs. STRONG Life Podcast ep 489 Cal Dietz & Dr. Mike T Nelson
Out of all of the Third Lads that we've ever had, there is probably no one who has had a more profound impact on shaping our taste as alternative music fans and collectors than Ira Robbins. In 1974, young writer Robbins and two friends launched the fanzine Trans-Oceanic Trouser Press, later shortened to simply Trouser Press. Over the course of 10 years and nearly 100 issues, Trouser Press championed the eccentric outsiders, the punk pioneers, the new wave nerds, and the indie icons. The magazine ceased publication in 1984, but continued to publish record guides, which became the alternative music bible for Brett and Uncle Gregg. The contents of those essential books, as well as digitized copies of the magazine, have been lovingly archived at https://trouserpress.com. Today, Trouser Press Books continues to carry out the mission that drove the fanzine 50 years ago, releasing some of the best music-centric books on the market, including the new anthology Zip It Up! The Best of Trouser Press Magazine 1974-1984. Fittingly, this week we have an insightful, slightly nutty conversation about the eccentric geniuses of the O3L era. Learn more about your ad choices. Why should strength trainers and fitness studio owners seriously look into eccentric-focused training? (Spoiler alert: the results you can get are amazing — if you do it right). Dr. Michael MacMillan – former powerlifter, retired orthopedic surgeon, and former associate professor at the University of Florida – returns to share more of his expertise and wealth of knowledge in biomechanics. He is the co-creator of the NeGator Strength System, which is now on its new and improved 5th Generation. In this episode, we talk about how eccentrics affect bones and ligaments, how most muscle injuries happen and how to avoid them, the types of machines that can use the NeGator, the many applications and benefits of proper eccentric training, and more! This episode is great for both strength studio owners looking to get a huge competitive advantage and anyone who wants to get more from their strength training regimen — make sure you tune in! ━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⚡ Want to GROW your HIT business? Is your uncle the one that makes little suits of armor for his pet squirrels- or is that you? There's a rumor that Miranda was raised by someone who insisted that their pet horse eat in the kitchen. There's a bishop in the village who wears a Batman costume under his holy robes (you didn't hear that from us though). Eccentrics are some of the most colorful people you may ever have the pleasure of knowing. Tonight, let us introduce you to some doozies! There's a natural-born showman in furs & jewels, a "Catch-Me-If-You-Can" wish granter, a pre-death funeral ride, and- a troublesome drunk... who may be... a horrid villain you've most certainly heard of! Being labeled as "eccentric" or "outside of the box" is often seen as a badge of honor among creatives and innovators. Adam Grant, in his exploration of non-conformity, highlights the invaluable role these individuals play in society. Eccentrics often pave the way for new ideas and transformations by daring to think differently and challenge the status quo. They don't just march to the beat of their own drum—they create entirely new rhythms that can change the course of industries, arts, and even daily life. These outside-of-the-center thinkers embody the essence of believing in the possible. They see beyond the limitations and norms that confine conventional thinking. To them, the world is a canvas of potentialities. This mindset doesn't just apply to grandiose innovations or artistic endeavors; it also influences everyday interactions and personal challenges. It's about viewing each moment as an opportunity to enact change, whether in one's life or in a broader context. Eccentric individuals inspire by showing that the edges of imagination are far wider than we presume. Their lives and work encourage others to question, explore, and dream bigger. By embracing the eccentric in all of us, we can all begin to appreciate the richness that unconventional thinking brings to our world, fostering a culture that not only tolerates but celebrates deviation from the norm as a crucial ingredient for progress.

In today's episode of Barbell Shrugged we dig in to developing strength using bands, eccentrics, isometrics, and velocity. In this episode, we'll discuss the benefits of each of these methods and how to incorporate them into your training routine. First, let's start with bands. Using resistance bands can be a great way to add variety to your workouts and challenge your muscles in new ways. Bands provide a form of accommodating resistance, meaning that the resistance increases as you approach the end of the movement. This makes them great for exercises such as squats, bench presses, and deadlifts. By adding bands, you can increase the resistance at the top of the movement, which can help to build strength and power. Next up, let's talk about eccentrics. Eccentric training involves focusing on the lowering portion of an exercise. This can be a very effective way to build strength and muscle mass. Eccentric training can be performed with bodyweight exercises or with weights. By emphasizing the eccentric portion of the movement, you can increase time under tension, which can lead to greater muscle damage and growth. Moving on to isometrics. Isometric training involves holding a position without movement. This type of training can be done with bodyweight exercises or with weights. Isometric training can be a great way to build strength and increase stability. It's also a good option for those who may have joint pain or injuries, as it doesn't require a lot of movement. Lastly, let's discuss velocity. Velocity training involves performing exercises at a high speed. This can be a great way to build explosive power and increase athletic performance. Velocity training can be done with exercises such as plyometrics, sprints, and jumps. Incorporating these methods into your training routine can help to keep your workouts interesting and challenging. It's important to vary your training to avoid plateaus and to continue making progress. However, it's also important to listen to your body and not overdo it. Always start with a weight or resistance that is appropriate for your fitness level and gradually increase as you get stronger.
