Noe Essengue emerges as a potential high-upside pick, drawing comparisons to players like Al-Farouq Aminu and Tayshaun Prince. Trade possibilities loom large, with the Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Brooklyn Nets all looking to move up. Could the Bulls leverage their position to acquire multiple picks or even land a player like Cam Johnson? As the draft approaches, questions arise about the front office's ability to capitalize on expiring contracts and stack assets for the future. Tune in for an in-depth analysis of the Bulls' draft options and potential moves that could shape the team's future.Podcast Links: https://linktr.ee/BullsCentralPodGet at us:Email: BullsCentralPod@gmail.comTwitter:@BullsCentralPodPhone: (773) 270-2799Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/chicago-bulls-central/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Hey all - welcome to Tuesday! Today, we're diving into a variety of topics. Starting with a local traffic and design issue that has been causing quite a stir. A listener highlighted a large speed bump on Lafayette near downtown Detroit that has been surprising many drivers. We discuss the implications of this speed bump, its design, and suggestions for making it more noticeable to ensure it serves its purpose without being a surprise ramp for drivers. Next, we shift gears to sports. Terrion Arnold has picked up the number zero on his jersey and earned the nickname "Sub Zero" from his teammates. We get into the the confidence this choice represents. We also discuss the cornerback competition during minicamp, including standout performances and ongoing questions about the Lions' roster. Tayshaun Prince, a Pistons legend, is being considered for the role of general manager of the franchise. We explore his journey from player to front office executive and the potential impact of his return to Detroit. His experience with the Memphis Grizzlies and his connection to the Pistons' culture make him a promising candidate. For soccer fans, Burnley Football Club is partnering with Visit Detroit, and you'll see their jerseys featuring Detroit's name during the soccer tournament in North Carolina. This collaboration celebrates the shared industrial heritage of Detroit and Burnley, and we discuss the potential cultural exchanges and joint events that could arise from this partnership. Lastly, we touch on Detroit City FC's recent 2-0 victory over Rhode Island, highlighting the return of Elvis Amoh to the field. Despite not scoring, his presence is a positive sign for the team's future. We also discuss the team's current standing in the Eastern Conference and the importance of securing a home playoff game. Saturday, January 20 proved to be another cool day for fans of Kentucky basketball. Zvonimir Ivisic is already drawing some comparisons to what Tayshaun Prince did in knocking down five straight 3s to start the game against a hot North Carolina squad in 2001. On the other hand, several schools are being exposed with so many flaws. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bigzman34/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/bigzman34/support

Jim is joined by Pod of Fame Social Media Manager and Kentucky Wildcats Expert Shannon Bauer to break down the hall of fame candidacy of former Detriot Pistons swingman Tayshaun Prince. First, Shannon breaks down Prince's infamous 2001 game against North Carolina in which he drained five consecutive 3-pointers to start the game (4:34). Next, they cover "the block" in the 2004 Eastern Conference Finals, compare Prince to a glue guy already enshrined in the HOF, and decide where Prince ranks among the best Kentucky Wildcats of the last 25 years (11:02). Finally, Shannon and Jim discuss whether the Pistons would have won the 2004 Finals without Prince (34:41), before both stating whether or not they believe Prince deserves a spot in the Basketball Hall of Fame (60:51).
Lance Caporossi and Andrew Clements sit down and discuss the weekly Detroit Pistons news, trade rumors, team updates, and quotes from coaches on this week's Everything Pistons podcast. This week six Detroit Pistons become eligible for trade. Also, the Detroit Pistons tied a franchise record 14 game losing streak, and Rex Kalamian shares his thoughts on Killian Hayes. To end this week's Everything Pistons podcast, we debate does Tayshaun Prince has a spot on the Pistons' all-time team? Is Saddiq Bey better without Jerami Grant? It's a Mail Bag Monday on the Jacked Ramsays podcast with hosts Danny Marang and Brandon Sprague taking on as many of your questions as they can tackle in an hour. With Neil Olshey fired early Friday morning, questions centered around who would fill in temporarily (that's Joe Cronin) and once that was confirmed, who is Joe Cronin (Interim GM) and what will he be able to do for the Trail Blazers in the meantime? Could Cronin end up the full time GM? How much power - if any - will Cronin have to make a move? Under Paul Allen, interim GM Chad Buchanan was instrumental in guiding the franchise towards Damian Lillard, so it's not unheard of that big moves could be undertaken but the not full titles Cronin. If it's not Cronin - who could it be? Brent Barry, Tayshaun Prince, Danny Ainge, Scott Perry and Mark Eversley all have been named as possible additions and their task at hand is no small won. Following an epic throttling at home by the Boston Celtics (which was preceded by another beat down by the San Antonio Spurs), it's become clear to anyone and everyone that the Blazers need immediate change from the ground up. The core pillars beyond Damian Lillard - CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic - need to be on the move in order for Portland to make real change and reshape the roster. With only 10 days before December 15th and nearly all NBA deals becoming available for addition in trades, whoever is tasked with these moves will have a short time to get it done - what does that look like? Should the Blazers make a move immediately? Is this season salvageable? What packages are out there for players not named Ben Simmons? That and more on this week's Jacked Ramsays mail bag podcast! Le Calendrier de l'Avent des Chroniques de Motor City - Jour 3
"Bouffonnerie. In the summer of 2007, coming off some of the worst stretch of his career with the Lakers, Kobe Bryant demanded a trade. One likely destination? The Detroit Pistons, the same team that beat the breaks off the Lakers in 2004, ending a dynasty. The proposed package included variations of Tayshaun Prince, Rip Hamilton, Jason Maxiell, Amir Johnson, and some sort of combination of picks. Obviously, the trade never happened and Kobe retired a Laker legend, but what would we say about his legacy if he left the Lakers for the then temporarily dominant East? Shootaround: Is there no end to this pandemic? The NBA is struggling to keep its players in check and we are facing down a possibility of another postponed season. Also, Serge refuses to acknowledge that the NFL season ever happened.
Pour aller plus loin : - Top Moments: Pistons shock NBA world, win championship in 2004 - Retro Rewind: Pistons dominate Lakers in 2004 Finals Game 5 - Why the 2004 NBA champion Detroit Pistons are still so important "Les Chroniques de Motor City", c'est votre podcast dédié à l'Histoire et à la Culture des Detroit Pistons. Pour aller plus loin : - Remembering the 2004 Detroit Pistons, The Game Haus - Joe D’s Final Countdown: The Going to Work Pistons, a Retrospective - Les Pistons à travers l’Histoire #7 : Goin’ to Work Era - The Goin’ to Work Pistons: the most unique champions the NBA has ever crowned "Les Chroniques de Motor City", c'est votre podcast dédié à l'Histoire et à la Culture des Detroit Pistons. They discuss Drew Brees, the Dallas Cowboys, James Harden and Russell Westbrook, being a Brooklyn Nets season ticket holder, the retarded Giants releasing Janoris Jenkins, and that one time Joel was a rogue MLB employee and the Yankees official facebook page announced Derek Jeter was having gender reassignment surgery
Ben Wallace was unquestionably the greatest defensive force we have seen in the NBA since Bill Russell, and in this interview he sat down to discuss with me: His childhood growing up with 10 other siblings in Alabama The impact Charles Oakley had on him Draft night in 96 Catching on with Washington and the role veterans such as Chris Webber and Rod Strickland had on his confidence Being traded to Orlando and winning the starting spot for the Magic Being traded to Detroit and becoming the face of the franchise How the Pistons were built around him, with Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, Rasheed Hamilton, along with head coach Larry Brown, all being brought in to create a championship contender The mental toughness of the Pistons to go into New Jersey, down 3 games to 2, and win an elimination game in the Meadowlands The series against the Pistons, specifically the block by Tayshaun Prince on Reggie Miller How the Pistons demolished the Lakers despite being the biggest underdogs in NBA history The 7 game series against both the Heat and Spurs in Detroit's quest for back to back championships The Pistons sending 4 players to the all-star game in 2006 Ben Wallace's block on Shaq in the 2006 conference finals Leaving Detroit to sign with the Bulls, and once again destroying Shaq in the playoffs What Ben's scouting report was on Shaq when he was given that assignment Being traded to Cleveland, and matching up with Kevin Garnett in the conference semi-finals Ben's final season in Cleveland before finding his way back home to finish out his career We finished up by discussing what he has been doing since his retirement, especially his role as ambassador for RC racing cars. Then we turned it over to some fan questions. Ben Wallace's website for his racing can be found here: Wallace Motorsports And he can be followed on Instagram here: Ben Wallace Instagram So go check out his racing and Instagram pages. He's a really cool guy, and if he doesn't get in the HOF this year, boycott them with me until he does get in!
Threat continues his barrage of dumb questions. Burgers or Fries? We talk about reactions to approaching someone's significant other. Bill Cosby or OJ? Black equality or Black Supremacy? Then we deep dive on our favorite cartoons growing up. Somehow we transition to a discussion on Colin Kaepernick that takes an unexpected twist. Next we talk to about race relations in America. As expected Dean and D Nice get back to the field. We end it with some rapping. We record the hook to the next hit, Tayshaun 33:45.

We look at the 2004 Rasheed Wallace trade that led the Detroit Pistons to a championship and a run of Eastern Conference Finals appearances in the latest episode of the Over and Back Classic NBA Podcast. Kim Huston, co-host of the Basketball Party podcast, joins Jason Mann on the show to discuss what makes Wallace such a great player and character, his honesty and irreverence, his anger and passion, and break down the comparisons between Wallace and the recently traded DeMarcus Cousins. We also discuss how the 2000s Pistons were built by Joe Dumars, adding Ben Wallace, Rip Hamilton, Chauncey Billups and Tayshaun Prince by 2003, the playoff failures under Rick Carlisle in 2002 and 2003, some of the other key reserves, whether Lindsay Hunter or Chucky Atkins is the ultimate hipster Pistons uniform, Rasheed's reputation in seven years as a Portland Trail Blazer and his success and failures there, setting a league record for technical fouls, getting into fights with notorious ref Tim Donaghy, and playing one glorious game for the Atlanta Hawks. We also talk about how the Pistons changed once Rasheed came to the team, how little they ended up giving up in the trade, how the two Wallaces fits on offense and defens, the "Guaransheed" vs. the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals, and dethroning the Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant-led Los Angeles Lakers (the team who had constantly beaten Rasheed's Trail Blazers in the 2004 Finals. Finally we talk about the rest of the Pistons' run of Eastern Conference Finals appearances between 2005 and 2008, losing in the 2005 Finals to the Spurs, Rasheed's gaffe of leaving Robert Horry open for a 3, losing to the Heat, Cavs and Celtics before falling off in 2009, how the Pistons differed from most great teams, and whether the mid-2000s Pistons or the late 2000s Celtics had a better run. On the heels of the Lakers-focused interview with ReyMoralde, the guys delve further into how Los Angeles can best develop itshighly touted young players and how important it will be for the Lakers to re-signJordan Clarkson. In the final segment, the A-A-Ron Block, the MinnesotaTimberwolves are used as a prime example of a team that has fairly seamlesslyintegrated young talent, an area where Byron Scott has struggled thus far. Agingveterans, such as Kevin Garnett and Tayshaun Prince, have taken on a diminishedbut important role both on the off the court, whereas Kobe Bryant’s shot-happyways appear to be stunting the growth of promising players like D’AngeloRussell and Julius Randle. In recent games, Scott has started to give Russellmore freedom to make mistakes and grow…and your hosts certainly hope thatcontinues. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The NBA Trade Deadline has come and gone. Danny Ainge made 2 moves shipping away Marcus Thorton and a 2016 first round pick courtesy of the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Isaiah Thomas. Ainge then sent Tayshaun Prince to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Jonas Jerebko and Luigi Datome. The Celtic's began the 2nd half of the NBA season taking on the Sacramento Kings in Sacramento. The Celtics are among 6 teams all fighting for the final 2 playoff spots in the eastern conference. The Celtics have a good shot to make the NBA playoffs despite not having any major stars and their chances of making the playoffs went up with the way the trade deadline went seeing teams like the Nets trade away players like Kevin Garnett and teams like the Heat lose players to season ending injurys like Chris Bosh with blood clot's. So it looks like it will be the Celtics fighting for the playoffs rather then tanking. We will breakdown the latest new's as well as hot Thomas, Jerebko and Datome have faired in their first week as Celtic's. Has Thomas shown he can be that difference maker many thought he would be after the team traded for him or did losing a 3 point shooter like Thorton come out to be too much. ADAM LOWENSTEIN aka Stats Adam will join the Celtics Talk Crew to discuss the Celtics performances in the back end of their western conference road trip coming out of the All-Star break
