Steve Simonson is a lifetime entrepreneur who has founded, purchased, and sold numerous companies over the past 30 years. Currently, he is the Founder of the Catalyst88 MasterMind and the Managing Director of SYMO Global, a consultation practice with a team of experienced marketing and operational executives. In this episode… Within mastermind groups, it's easy for the conversation to solely focus on the small stuff — the hacks and tactics that come from years of experience in entrepreneurship. Lifetime entrepreneur Steve Simonson, on the other hand, would rather focus on the big picture: how to build a substantial business. With Steve's Catalyst88 MasterMind, his mission is to help Amazon brand owners master the full process of running a business. He helps them perfect their strategies, improve their systems, and scale their brands to success. Now, with the recent interest in investing in private label brands, Steve also shares his expertise on creating an effective exit strategy. So, what is his advice for Amazon entrepreneurs looking to sell their brands? In this episode of the Buy Box Experts podcast, James Thomson is joined by the Catalyst88 MasterMind Founder Steve Simonson to talk about his members' thoughts on the recent changes in the FBA space. Steve discusses the rising interest in investing in private label brands, the top concerns among Amazon entrepreneurs, and his tips for crafting an effective exit strategy for your business. Stay tuned.

Episode 45: Pain, Passion and Profit with Dr. Steve Sudell “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” – Benjamin Franklin We've got an entrepreneurial superstar joining us on the show today! Our guest will reveal his secrets to: Creating products that people love Raising $1+ million through crowdfunding, and Generating multiple 7-figure exits. That's right, he's done a LOT, despite still only being in his 30s. Dr. Steve Sudell received his doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009, and in an accomplished career he’s made it his mission to find non-invasive solutions to get people back to doing what they love. In 2015, he co-founded StretchLab, a revolutionary assisted-stretching facility that helps individuals improve their overall flexibility and well-being through stretching. Steve created the full range of stretching protocols that are still in use today, and also trained hundreds of practitioners – known as “flexologists” – in the process. With Steve’s expertise, StretchLab went from one location to more than 200 in less than four years. In 2019, Steve exited the company in a seven-figure deal. After watching his younger sister battle leukemia and suffer from extreme pain, Steve knew there were a lot more people who needed help. In 2017, to help the millions of people who suffer from chronic neck pain, he created the Neck Hammock. It arrived as the most affordable, portable, and effective ‘at home’ neck pain solution on the market. To fund the project, he launched two crowdfunding campaigns simultaneously that raised USD $1.6 million from 20,000+ backers, and landed in the top 1% of all Kickstarter campaigns. Since then, the Neck Hammock has been featured on The Dr. Oz Show, The Today Show, Forbes, and Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop. After grossing more than USD $20 million in sales, Steve had another seven-figure exit in January 2021. We cover a lot of ground in this one! You'll learn how to make your health a priority (no matter how hectic your schedule is), when it's time to exit your passion project, and exactly what it takes to make it in the business world in 2021. And remember, a little inspiration at the right time can completely change the trajectory of someone’s life, so if there’s a friend who needs to check out this interview, share it with them now. Let’s WIN THE DAY with Dr. Steve Sudell! _

This week, Steve, Matt, and Jessica discuss Penny's baptism and the emotions surrounding this event in her life.Jessica and Steve weren't sure what Penny's involvement in the church would look like. With Steve choosing to leave the church when Penny was a baby, they both agreed to let her decide how active she would be in an effort not to sway her in any direction. When Penny chose to be baptized, she was wholly supported, but it brought some emotions and tensions. Steve was reminded that he wouldn't be a part of this big moment in her life and struggled a bit with the sadness that comes with that. Steve was also confronted with some hostility from his dad and continues to work through that strained relationship's emotions.Penny decided to have Matt baptize her, which strengthened their bond and reminded the family that good things can still come out of difficult situations. And at the end of the day, they each feel so blessed that Penny has such a strong support network. Finally, Steve shares what it was like making his boyfriend a part of the experience and the results.Tune in!Highlights of the discussion: How they feel about having more children (05:00)If Steve was okay with Penny getting baptized (17:00)How her baptism went (25:40)Steve showing his support to Penny (32:07)Steve introduces his boyfriend to the family (37:00)The blessing of Penny having a great support system (43:00)Additional Resources:www.Linktr.ee/TheBoldLogic--Be sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook!--You can find the podcast on Apple, Google, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever you listen to podcasts. If you haven’t already, please rate and review the podcast on Apple Podcasts!
It's not always the cast that I've seen my guests on the television before I get to speak with them but as a fan of BBC2's The Mash Report, I had already seen and been entertained by the talented Mr Steven Allen. It was fascinating to hear that Steve never used to think he was funny and ended up following a different path initially but we can all be very glad he found his funny bone and has been busy making people laugh ever since. Since lockdown, Steve started up a podcast called 'Comics Solving Problems' because, well, why not? With Steve's scientific background and analytical approach, who better to be taking on the problems of the world? You can get a taster of Steve's humour on this show, what makes things funny, how Steve puts his material together for stand up and more besides.A very enjoyable chat with a funny guy and you can find The Mash Report on BBC's Player service if you're in the UK. In today's Father's Day Series Podcast, we're chatting to Steve Wallace and his daughter Bernadette. The phrase 'the apple doesn't fall far from the tree' couldn't be truer for this duo, with Steve nurturing his daughter's love for aviation from a very young age. Dinner time was never dull in the Wallace household. With Steve lining up cutlery to create runways and salt + pepper shakers to symbolise the aircraft, you can imagine his storytelling was quite a hit with the kids. Bernadette's earliest memory of aviation stems from her experience in the co-pilot seat, whilst her father worked alongside Mission Australia servicing Indigenous communities in Arnhem Land. Bringing passengers in for appointments and shopping trips and flying community members between homelands ensured that every day was different for Bernadette and her father. Now a Senior Base Pilot at the Royal Flying Doctor Service Brisbane Base, Steve's daily schedule still remains a surprise each day he clocks into work. Recently completing her Bachelor of Aviation, Bernadette is looking to fly high with her upcoming career working at a local flight school. Take a listen to find out more about how Bernadette finds her wings and how Steve found his!

With Steve dead and Melkor's house destroyed in a freak accident it's about time the crew fly off into the sunset and leave Pelaton far, far behind them. But where will they go next? What happens when your record a podcast whilst an NHL game is live at 7pm UK time? This… Jolon mostly cries, gets sent out the room because he refused to watch until he gets home later. Whilst Clare and Steve are forced to bite their lip every time they see a goal or penalty as the follow the action during recording. With Steve sporting a new slimline haircut and Clare a new hair colour, it seems apt to call this episode New Year, New Haircut as even Toronto Maple Leafs’ William Nylander asked his auntie to give him a short back and sides over Christmas. And with new starts, we wipe the slate clean and dream big for year ahead… We ponder our one wish for our teams for the remainder of the season, and question what the heck was going on with Dallas Stars after ‘that’ incident involving Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin over the holiday period. The Athletic's Sean Shapiro explains what it was like to get the call and be at that 25 minute press conference as Stars management went on an "expletive-laden tirade"... Plus who are you sad to see left out of the All-Star line up, and why Steven wants the Washington Capitals’ player Tom Wilson to clean up his act or leave the NHL for good… Presented by Clare Freeman, Jolon Kemp Walker and Steven Edwards. Greetings, true believers! Welcome to Episode 43. Hope you liked the Stan Lee tribute we did in the intro. We were going to talk about his death a lot more but ran out of time. So unfortunately you just get the intro and a few words at the end. Sometimes it's not good to bury the lede. RIP, Stan. You'll be missed by many. Before we give you the breakdown, we'd like to apologize for the sound quality on this episode. We had to record in a different fashion than we normally do and as a result, you will hear a lot of background noise and things that we'd normally be able to mute out. With Steve being sick on this one, you'll hear a lot of hacking. We normally use 2 vocal tracks and can edit that stuff out. This time it's all on one track and there wasn't much we could do to fix it. We did what we could though. Give us a pass on this one, will ya? We'll be back to normal next week. On this episode along with all our other ramblings and tangents, we discuss Steve's viewings of the Amazon Prime series "Homecoming", "Bodyguard" on Netflix, and "Superstore" on NBC and Hulu. Dan talks about the docuseries "The Eighties" on Netflix as well as "Beastie Boys Book" by Adam "Ad Rock" Horowitz and Michael "Mike D" Diamond. He also got to see an early screening of "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" and gives a spoiler free review. Lastly Steve and Dan review "Overlord" now in theaters. That's the gist, folks. Time to put us in your earholes. Let's meet here same time next week. With Steve waylaid, Meredith, Raul, and Miles must enter the Woolcraft building to try to save Munchen from total destruction. But with Mrs. Yoole hot on their heels, it may be too late. Surprises await Miles and Kelly. Series finale.
Steve Stewart was manager of the band Stone Temple Pilots. He guided them from being an unknown funk band to a multi-platinum powerhouse whose sound is synonymous with 90's grunge. With Steve by STP's side, they sold over 25 million records, for nearly half a billion dollars in sales. But then the Internet happened. The record industry wasn't selling many CD's or records anymore. Fans were becoming a bigger part of helping music spread, and free music was key to the new success equation. Steve had to stand by helplessly as big music industry players shot themselves in the foot, and tightened their budgets in the process. But now, Steve is trying to fill in the gap that free music created. Now, imagine that Justin Bieber paid you. With Steve's new company, that could become true. Steve is now CEO of Vezt. With Vezt, music fans like you can buy a share of the future earnings of a song. So if you're a Justin Bieber fan, you could at some point buy a share of his song. (In case you're wondering, you can't "short" a song, these aren't stocks you're buying.) We're going to learn more about how that works in today's conversation. Find out: What artistic decisions did Stone Temple Pilots have to make in order to become a huge success? I take Steve back to the early days, and we find out why early-90's music critics have called him to apologize. How does Vezt fill in the hole that music-sharing created? Fans have become a part of the music promotion process, with Vezt, they'll start getting a piece of the pie. Blockchain companies are hot now, but the blockchain is not always relevant to the business model. What about blockchain technology makes Vezt possible? The Great Leader only ever wants to educate. That is, apart from the times when there is 'beef', at which point he becomes the butcher. With Steve absent, (although you wouldn't know it, because he's still all over this podcast) a stupendous guest was invited to provide facts: Nice, cold, hard, lovely facts. There's also more peacocks, more bins & a stuffed lion. Please send your listener comments to Danny@radiox.co.uk Thank you.

This week we present our latest artist feature highlighting the career of Steve Jordan. Steve got his major studio break due to a massive snow storm that paralyzed New York City in 1977. Most of the first call drummers lived outside of Manhattan and when travel became impossible Steve was able to make several sessions over a week long period. That act of nature and the ability to take advantage of his opportunities allowed Steve to cement his status as an A-list session musician. Aside from his prodigious studio resume Steve also has a tremendous live playing career. He was the first drummer for Saturday Night Live. His relationship with Paul Shaffer continued past Saturday night's and ultimately landed him a five year stint as the house drummer for Late Night with David Letterman. Since that time he's toured with likes of: Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, David Sanborn, John Mayer, and his own band, The Verbs. In this show we highlight our favorite Steve Jordan tracks and dissect what makes them great. With Steve's diverse career we'll be listening to numerous songs that span such varied genres as: disco, fusion, and Americana rock and roll. Phil's picks are: 1. 'Who's Who' from the John Scofield album, Who's Who 2. 'Squish' from the Brecker Brothers album, Detente 3. 'No Particular Place to Go" from the movie soundtrack, Hail, Hail Rock and Roll 4. 'Waiting on the World to Change' from the John Mayer album, Continuum Jon's picks are: 1. 'Snakes' from the David Sanborn album, Upfront 2. 'Messin with the Kid' from the Blues Brothers album, Briefcase Full of Blues 3. 'Steve McQueen' from the Sheryl Crow album, C'mon, C'mon 4. 'Vultures' from the John Mayer album, Continuum Honorable Mentions: 1. With Sound Reason, album by Sonny Fortune 2. Electric Outlet, album by John Scofield (used as this show's outro music) 3. David having stomped out of the club in a fit of pique and left Noah to deal with it, Noah gives himself a one-night trial run and decides that he sucks and hates it and that despite his differences with Val, he should take her up on her offer to return as manager. This complicates things for him and Donna, since Donna's not trying to get into another relationship with someone Val will be constantly needling her about -- though she's also sick of David's trifling ass freeloading all over her apartment eating her food and screwing up his new job at Khaki Nation. Brandon and Kelly are busy working on their relationships with new people: Kelly with Dr. Monahan at the Clinic Clinic, who's maybe not quite the saint she thought when he first met him; and Brandon with Emma Bennett, a hot new freelancer he's trying to recruit for the Beat. With Steve's paternity drama behind him, he can resume trying to have sex with Carly, though the demands on Carly's time are about to increase, meaning her availability for nooners may soon decrease dramatically. We discuss it all on our latest Again With This podcast! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Steve Hackett is renowned as an immensely talented and innovative rock musician. He was lead guitarist with Genesis as part of their classic line up with Gabriel, Collins, Banks and Rutherford, that produced acclaimed albums such as Selling England by the Pound (a favourite of John Lennon). With Steve's extraordinary versatility in both his electric guitar playing and his composing, he involves influences from many genres, including Jazz, World Music and Blues. He is equally adept in his classical albums that include renditions of pieces by composers from Bach to Satie, his own acoustic guitar compositions that have gained the admiration of many, including Yehudi Menuhin, and ambitious guitar/ orchestra albums such as A Midsummer Night's Dream, recorded with the Royal Philharmonic. With Genesis, Steve's guitar playing produced some of the most memorable moments, from the sensitivity of his acoustic sound on Horizons and Blood on the Rooftops to the dramatic rock guitar solos of Firth of Fifth and Fountain of Salmacis. As he embarked on his solo career he developed his exceptional range, pushing musical boundaries into exciting areas, inventing new sounds and also techniques such as 'tapping'. His solo career went from strength to strength and the mid eighties not only saw the hit single Cell 151, but also the Steve Hackett and Steve Howe super group GTR, highly successful in America. Steve Hackett After GTR Steve worked further with many renowned musicians such as Paul Carrick, Bonny Tyler, John Wetton and Brian May, who has credited Steve as an early influence. Steve went on to produce his hit album Genesis Revisited. He went even further back to his roots with Blues with a Feeling, whilst continuing to challenge his own 'horizons' with an amazingly eclectic mix of sounds, genres and a sense of the exotic that excites his many followers to this day. Recent albums have possessed a high level of sophistication, along with an ever-present powerful dynamic, from the dramatic and atmospheric darkness of Darktown and Wild Orchids to the colourful voyage through time and space of To Watch the Storms. 2009's Out Of The Tunnel's Mouth, written and recorded in the midst of domestic and professional upheaval, was released to an overwhelmingly positive response from fans and reviewers alike, many of them proclaiming it his best ever. Hot on the heels of OOTTM was Beyond the Shrouded Horizon released in 2011, which has easily received an equally enthusiastic response. In 2012 Steve collaborated with Chris Squire of Yes on the "Squackett" album A Life Within a Day. Steve's live electric gigs take his fans on an extraordinary journey drawn from a rich musical heritage. Perennial Genesis favourites such as the mighty Firth Of Fifth sit alongside solo classics, while more recent solo material is also included, demonstrating that Steve is an artist still at the very top of his game. Supported by some of the best musicians on the planet, Steve's unique guitar work remains the fulcrum on which this challenging and exhilarating show is balanced. Genesis' induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in March 2010 stands as a testament to the enduring qualities of their music. Steve has always held a torch for the classic Genesis music. His Genesis Revisited II, a double CD, involves several iconic artists and contains many Genesis favourites. It was released in late October 2012. A Genesis Revisited worldwide tour in 2013 was followed by a Genesis Extended tour in 2014 and early 2015 due to popular demand… Never one to rest on his laurels, Steve continues to blaze a trail with new material and to be an exhilarating and groundbreaking artist. Following the success of his album Wolflight, his latest album The Night Siren gained even more notoriety, charting in several countries and reaching the top 30 in the UK charts. He tours worldwide. In February / March 2018 he will tour from North America to South America encompassing his whole career wit...

In this episode, Steve Kiges, co-founder of The Coach Training Academy, discussed several programs that he offers through The Coach Training Academy. The core program is the 24-week International Coach Federation accredited program for people who are busy and those who want to up their game by adding coaching to their current offerings. The second program, the Fast Track Program, is not for everyone. It is designed for motivated individuals that want a fast paced, turn-key certified coaching model that will allow them to hit the ground running. This is tailor-made for people who do coaching as a part of their regular job, like therapists, social workers, physicians, lawyers, etc. but don't have a certification in coaching. One key difference in the programs is that the 24-week program includes business and marketing information on how to build your business as a coach and market a coaching practice. One of the obstacles that coaches face is the fact that prospective clients are often not ready to take action. Steve explains that oftentimes, coaches often take that personally, when, in fact, it has nothing to do with the coach and everything to do with where the prospect is in his/her life. Host: Karen Stollznow Steve Spangler is a science educator, inventor, and an Emmy Award winning TV personality. He is the author of Fizz Factor: 50 Amazing Experiments With Soda Pop, Secret Science: 25 Science Experiments Your Teacher Doesn't Know About and his latest title Naked Eggs And Flying Potatoes. Steve’s inquiry-based learning approaches to science education are highly successful. With his innovative "hands-on" approach to teaching he is the "fun science guy" who shoots potatoes, makes toilet paper fly and mixes batches of slime; but he is best known for his erupting soda geyser experiment. Behind all of this fun is a very serious mission: to improve science literacy for both children, and adults. In this episode with Karen Stollznow, Steve tackles the "science is boring" stereotype, and explains how science education can be exciting, accessible and fun. Steve talks about using the Internet for effective science education, citing his famous viral video, the “Mentos and Diet Coke geyser experiment” that has had millions of views and inspired thousands of imitations. Steve not only teaches students, but he also teaches teachers. He talks about becoming a great science teacher by creating unforgettable learning experiences. With Steve’s interactive methods, science has suddenly gone from "Don’t try this at home!" to "Try this for yourself and see how it works!" In closing, Steve discusses the state of science literacy today, and tells us what we can do to nurture scientific curiosity, build critical thinking skills and instill healthy skepticism.
