He fought an extremely rare form of cancer bravely, but in the end, his heart couldn't keep up the fight anymore. He went fast with no prolonged suffering. We want to thank all of you who have kept him in prayer. Please know that those prayers were not in vain. Our son lives with Jesus now. We are now updating this campaign to reflect our financial need for his remaining hospital bills, funeral expenses, and housing for our family. As most men, I do not enjoy asking for help. However, as most fathers and husbands can relate to, there isn't anything I won't do for my family. In light of that, I wanted to first ask all of you to pray for us. Also, because of the overwhelming expenses that inevitably come from all these things happening at the same time, if you feel led to help us financially, there's a couple different ways you can do that:GiveSendGo: http://www.GiveSendGo.com/NathanTheBravePayPal: http://PayPal.me/JoshPeckDisclosureOr send in your donation to:P.O. 6. Joseph Ellis, *The Cause: The American Revolution and Its Discontents, 1773 to 1783*. Washington's decision to defend New York, an "indefensible" archipelago, nearly lost the war in its first month. He felt bound by civilian control to hold the position despite military advice, while his primary goal remained building a disciplined, drafted army to replace unreliable militias. The Howe brotherscomplicated the British effort by acting as peace commissioners who sought reconciliation rather than the total destruction of Washington's forces. This hesitation, combined with a "standing miracle" of timely fog, allowed Washington to execute a daring escape across the East River and keep the cause alive. (6)1761 PALAIS-ROYAL PARIS

Jassi Pannu, Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins, explains how rapidly advancing AI is transforming biological research and raising the risk of engineered pandemics. They map today's biosecurity landscape, from pathogen detection and DNA sequencing to vaccine development, and examine how frontier models can already troubleshoot lab work and bypass data safeguards. The conversation introduces a proposed Biosecurity Data Level framework to restrict only the most dangerous functional biological data while preserving open science. They close with a broader defense-in-depth strategy—Delay, Deter, Detect, Defend—including DNA synthesis screening, global pathogen surveillance, and practical tools like Far UV sterilization. Welcome to Episode 150 of Tablesetters, where we continue our division preview series by turning our attention to the American League West heading into the 2026 season. For nearly a decade, the AL West belonged to the Houston Astros. From 2017 through 2024, Houston captured seven full-season division titles and established one of the most sustained competitive runs in modern baseball. That streak finally paused in 2025. The Seattle Mariners broke through with a 90–72 season to capture the division, edging Houston by three games and advancing all the way to the American League Championship Series before falling in seven games. Now Seattle enters 2026 with momentum, elite pitching, and legitimate postseason expectations. But the division remains wide open. Houston still features an experienced core led by Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, and Yordan Alvarez, though questions remain about the starting rotation after the departure of Framber Valdez. Texas returns one of the most intriguing pitching staffs in the league behind Jacob deGrom and Nathan Eovaldi but must rebound offensively after finishing near the bottom of the league in several categories last year. Meanwhile, the Athletics appear to be emerging from their rebuild with a promising young lineup built around Rookie of the Year Nick Kurtz and shortstop Jacob Wilson, while the Los Angeles Angels continue searching for stability after another difficult season. Several individual players could ultimately determine how the division unfolds. Dominic Canzone's breakout bat could help deepen Seattle's lineup behind Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodriguez. Houston will be watching closely to see whether new arrival Tatsuya Imai can stabilize the rotation. Texas may hinge on the health of Nathan Eovaldi alongside deGrom, while A's pitching outlook could depend heavily on the continued development of Jacob Lopez. For the Angels, the return of Grayson Rodriguez from injury carries significant implications for a rotation that struggled throughout 2025. With Seattle attempting to defend its title and multiple challengers trying to reclaim the division, the AL West once again looks like a race that could remain competitive deep into the season.
Episode 251 of the Big Shot Bob Podcast, hosted by Robert Horry with Brandon Harper and Rob Jenners, opens with the NBA canceling the Atlanta Hawks’ planned “Magic City Night” promotion after Adam Silver cited stakeholder concerns, while noting pre-orders for the hoodie will still be fulfilled and may become valuable memorabilia. The crew then talks NBA storylines including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s game-winning shot versus Denver and his 126-game 20+ point streak tying Wilt Chamberlain, OKC’s low-turnover execution, and the Spurs’ dominance and team basketball led by Wembanyama and their guards, plus a brief look at standings. They debate Steve Kerr’s call to shorten the season, react to Jayson Tatum’s return from an Achilles injury, discuss whether the Lakers are better without LeBron, share a Cal State Bakersfield assistant coach/pimping arrest story, highlight a Roswell High homecoming crown moment as Big Shot of the Week, and finish with a Guinness-based “That’s Gotta Be a Record” game. 00:00 Podcast Intro and Free Agency 00:47 Magic City Night Canceled 05:48 NBA Morals and Gambling Debate 07:49 SGA Dagger and Wilt Streak 11:35 OKC Team Ball and Turnovers 15:05 Spurs Statement Win and Title Talk 20:03 How to Defend the Spurs 22:40 Standings Check and Clippers Rise 24:06 Steve Kerr Wants Fewer Games 30:02 Tatum Returns to the Celtics 33:55 Celtics Adjusting Lineup 35:49 Lakers Without LeBron 40:36 Why LeBron Still Matters 43:03 Wild Pimping Coach Story 46:06 Big Shot Homecoming Crown 48:07 That’s Gotta Be a Record Game 55:49 Picking A Record To Break
