HELP SUPPORT US AS WE DOCUMENT HISTORY HERE: https://gogetfunding.com/help-keep-wam-alive/# Josh Sigurdson reports on the international push for energy lockdowns, something we've been warning of for many years as the Strait of Hormuz continues to be shuttered, the Marines prepare for troop deployment in Iran and priced skyrocket. Governments are bringing in rations worldwide as watchdog groups call for full fledged energy lockdowns. This means not being able to fly, drive, access your money or buy food. From Asia to Europe, from Australian shortages to US, Canadian and British mandates, the situation is escalating fast. Governments tend to target energy infrastructure in war and when the war is on humanity's independence itself, expect the same. Order out of chaos. Problem, reaction, solution, repeat. With the digital ration system already in place with things like the UN's Pact For The Future which 193 countries signed onto in 2024 and blackouts scheduled for Earth Hour in the UK with laws to be reached by 2029 with the ban of beef and lamb as well as bans on air travel, it isn't rocket science that this is a manufactured crisis using emergencies like the Iran War to achieve. Cuba's power grid is down. Another example. Oil is being withheld from multiple nations. Tankers being seized. Meanwhile as we've warned, power is shifting from the west to the east in the WEF's reset as Russia's oil and has revenue doubles in a month and many countries are turning to the Chinese Yuan over the dollar for banking. Pakistan has also made major deals with Iran this week, allowing some of their tankers through the Strait of Hormuz. If this isn't an emergency situation, what is? Most are completely dependent on grocery stores, banks and fuel. They all go together. Australia has lineups of trucks unable to move because of diesel shortages as gas stations shut off pumps. In this episode of The Jesus Christ Show, Jesus discusses the intersection of faith and extraterrestrial life. A caller asks about the possibility of alien contact and its correlation with scripture. The host delves into the concept of exegesis and the importance of not reading personal views into scripture. They explore the idea that there's no biblical evidence to support the existence of extraterrestrial life, and discuss the theological implications of such a concept. The host also addresses the idea that if other life forms exist, they would either be perfect and not need salvation or would require a different understanding of God's nature.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – Earth Day has become Climate Day. Earth Hour has become Climate Hour. Earth Hour 2024, the "Biggest Hour for Earth" of the year, takes place on March 23rd. Since the World Wildlife Fund launched the event in 2007, Earth Hour has symbolized a commitment to the planet by simply turning off lights for one hour. However, despite its noble intentions, awareness of the movement was limited, with only 52% of the global population aware of the event. Our guests today, Phil Wilce and Antonia Simon, are Creative Director for Europe and Senior Experience Consultant, respectively, for EPAM Continuum, a research and strategy firm that worked with the World Wildlife Fund to reinvigorate the campaign and its outreach efforts as the climate crisis becomes more pronounced. The project represents an opportunity to explore how to tell stories about the environment and humanity's impact on nature, something everyone listening to Sustainability In Your Ear thinks about in work and life. The project's cornerstone was identifying a new target audience, "the inactive middle," a group of people of all ages and backgrounds characterized by a lack of action driven by eco-anxiety and eco-fatigue. The strategy focused on transforming Earth Hour from a singular event into a gateway for nature-positive action, and a significant part of the design was introducing the "Biggest Hour for Earth" as a critical message. Some enjoyable new activities around Earth Hour in 2024 include an in-world Fortnite experience built to bring young people to the program. You can learn more about Earth Hour at https://www.earthhour.org/ and about EPAM at https://www.epam.com/

Most conservation organisations mirror corporations in structure, operation, and strategy. But has that been effective? Andy Ridley, founder of Earth Hour and Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef, doesn't think so. He's asking how we build the 21st century conservation operation with the citizen at its heart. "The traditional way of doing conservation is 'pass us your money and we'll go and do it.' But we know that hasn't worked at the scale required." Andy is betting on harnessing the power of citizenship -- the rights AND responsibilities of belonging -- to create mass engagement in environmental initiatives. And he's been successful. Andy's Earth Hour concept — which asks everyone with electricity to simultaneously turn off their lights for sixty minutes to acknowledge the impact of climate change and our ability to influence that change -- is recognised as one of the largest mass participation movements in history, with hundreds of millions of participants around the world.Andy's newest platform is Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef, which serves as a way to engage people all around the world in the future of the reef through citizen science. …Listen with Lauren L.
