A doctor decided to retire after treating cancer patients for nearly thirty years. While working with a billing company to resolve his clinic’s finances, he opted to forgive $650,000 of debt people still owed him. In an interview about this act of generosity, the doctor said, “I’ve always been rather uncomfortable with sick patients not only having to worry about their own health, [but also] their families, and their jobs, [and] money. That’s always tugged at me.” Even if we’ve never been deep in financial debt, all of us have experienced something similar in a spiritual sense. The Bible likens sin to “debts” (Matthew 6:12). It also says there’s no way for us to repay what we owe God. We can’t donate money to charity, serve others, or work out a deal with Him to cover what we owe. Jesus is our only hope. Through His death and resurrection, Christ “canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross” (Colossians 2:14). Accepting Jesus’ sacrifice for the wrong things we’ve done means waking up to a new day, completely free from the burden of sin. May God’s mercy and forgiveness shine into the world as He helps us lovingly address people and circumstances in our lives.

Full Text of Readings [DAY TITLE] The Saint of the day is Mary, Mother of God The Story of Mary, Mother of God Mary's divine motherhood broadens the Christmas spotlight. Mary has an important role to play in the Incarnation of the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. She consents to God's invitation conveyed by the angel (Luke 1:26-38). Elizabeth proclaims: “Most blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” (Luke 1:42-43, emphasis added). Mary's role as mother of God places her in a unique position in God's redemptive plan. Without naming Mary, Paul asserts that “God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law” (Galatians 4:4). Paul's further statement that “God sent the spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying out ‘Abba, Father!'” helps us realize that Mary is mother to all the brothers and sisters of Jesus. Some theologians also insist that her motherhood of Jesus is an important element in God's creative plan. God's “first” thought in creating was Jesus. Jesus, the incarnate Word, is the one who could give God perfect love and worship on behalf of all creation. As Jesus was “first” in God's mind, Our Lady was “second” insofar as she was chosen from all eternity to be his mother. The precise title “Mother of God” goes back at least to the third or fourth century. In the Greek form Theotokos (God-bearer), it became the touchstone of the Church's teaching about the Incarnation. The Council of Ephesus in 431 insisted that the holy Fathers were right in calling the holy virgin Theotokos. At the end of this particular session, crowds of people marched through the street shouting: “Praised be the Theotokos!” The tradition reaches to our own day. In its chapter on Mary's role in the Church, Vatican II's Dogmatic Constitution on the Church calls her “Mother of God” 12 times. To learn more, visit our Seven Days with Mary page. Reflection Other themes come together at today's celebration. It is the Octave of Christmas: Our remembrance of Mary's divine motherhood injects a further note of Christmas joy. It is a day of prayer for world peace: She is the mother of the Prince of Peace. It is the first day of a new year: Mary continues to bring new life to her children—who are also God's children.Saint of the Day, Copyright Franciscan Media

In every culture, there's a sense of how danger brings out the best in us when it comes to surrendering to God. For instance, I don't know what World War, you'd have to ask my old friend chat GPT, who really likes me, when this phrase became prevalent, it says, "there are no atheists in foxholes." A foxhole is a military term. It means, when you're in the infantry on the battlefield and you're being shot at, you have to dig really quickly a divot in the ground so you can be below ground level, so you don't get hit by mortar shrapnel or bullets. In such a precarious situation, people, other humans, have noted that that's when you start praying. "If you get me out of this one, I'll be good for the rest of my life," or whatever the soldier might be praying for at that time. So your Question is, how can we stay conscious of Kṛṣṇa all the time, mainly by keeping the transcendental vibration going. It's like tonight we have a medley of bhajana, chanting a chapter and reading. Developing a taste for that is very helpful. Have your bhajana together. I like to say, 'get your bhajana on'. Make sure that you have a bhajana. Because if you don't have a bhajana, then you're going to have scrolling, randomness. Scrolling just means random observation of the of the world. But when you're very deliberate and keep the transcendental vibration going, and you develop a repertoire where you can have variety, and you keep hearing and chanting and a repertoire of service also, then you'll notice that you're happy because whatever situation you're in, you're thinking of Kṛṣṇa. That's the idea of keeping the transcendental vibration going. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 https://thefourquestionsbook.com/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=launch2025 ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #globalyouthretreat #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

An old farmhouse in the Ozarks. A newly adopted son with unexplainable nightmares. Voices telling children to ride their bikes onto the highway. Manifestations at 3 am. A dark figure with red eyes. And a portal beneath the hallway floor. Susanna's family moved into a house that had sat vacant for over a year, with previous owners' clothes still hanging in the closets, family photos abandoned in the chicken coop. She didn't think much of it. Not everything is spiritual, right? Then she went to a prayer retreat, women prayed protection over her, and she came home able to see what had been hiding in plain sight. What followed was five months of intense warfare and years of fighting for her youngest son. Her husband spoke in demonic languages while sleeping. Her three-year-old made the sound of a goat being slaughtered. Her daughter had visions of creatures clawing to get in and a sealed hole beneath the house that could become unsealed. Susanna tried everything: anointing oil, property line prayers, texting YouTube exorcists. But it wasn't until God sent an African woman from her old Bible study that the generational curse over her son was finally broken. This is one of the wildest testimonies we've had on Blurry Creatures, and a reminder that Christianity isn't Harry Potter. There are no magic words. Sometimes the battle is long. But God is faithful. Over the next few weeks, we'll be tackling your questions surrounding the Gospels in hopes that we all get more from this important section of Scripture designed to introduce us to and draw us closer to Jesus. When God's Spirit is at work in us, one of the most natural desires we develop is to know His Word. In this episode, Keith and Patrick kick off this new series by answering a few foundational questions to help us understand his Word more deeply: Who wrote the Gospels? When were they written? Who were they written for? And can we trust that the events they describe really happened? Along the way, they explore historical evidence, eyewitness testimony, and why the Gospels deserve far more confidence than they're often given. This episode lays the groundwork for reading the Gospels, not just faithfully, but thoughtfully.

Speaking life is an absolute cheat code for leadership, relationships, and personal growth—and Proverbs 1 shows us exactly how to do it. In this episode of The VIBE with Kelly Cardenas, we unpack Proverbs 1, the wisdom cycle, and the simple 1-2-3 framework that transforms people, cultures, and communities.Proverbs 1 teaches us that speaking life isn't just positive talk—it's wisdom in action. When wisdom, instruction, prudence, discernment, understanding, and the fear of God fill your heart, they naturally overflow through your words and guide your actions. Speaking life becomes effortless when love and wisdom are the source.I've seen speaking life heal relationships in real time, strengthen teams over the long haul, and transform people right in front of me—including my own journey. Attention, time, and intentional conversation can heal almost anything when speaking life is at the center of it.Proverbs 1 delivers on all cylinders:To truly commit to speaking life, you must know what it is, understand its benefits, and practice it consistently. Preparation matters—because when you speak life, you're building people, and people are how wars are won before they ever begin. Here's the simple 1-2-3 framework for speaking life every day:1️⃣ Use a person's name2️⃣ Call out something specific about them that inspired you3️⃣ Rinse and repeatThat's it.This approach builds relationships, marriages, friendships, teams, companies, cultures, churches, hospitality organizations, sports teams—and most importantly, people. As Pops always said: When you build the people and allow the people to build the business, you're cooking with gas.Speaking life starts with love and wisdom in the heart—and the overflow blesses everyone around you.So the real question is: Why don't we do this more often?

Share a commentWhat if the most radical thing about your faith was simple access? We walk through Romans 5 and uncover why peace with God is not a mood but a verdict—rooted in Christ's finished work and expressed as real-time access to the Father. No courtyards. No curtains. No spiritual middlemen. Just the one Mediator who ushers us into grace and teaches us to stand there. We start with a hard look at “almost righteous” religion and why it breaks people. Justification isn't wishful thinking; it's a complete declaration that wipes the record clean. From there we trace the torn temple veil and the end of barricades—moving from a culture of distance to a life where prayer is a direct line and worship is personal, intimate, and bold. Along the way, we call out the modern impulse to rebuild walls through celebrity spirituality, pay-to-pray gimmicks, and the myth of special access.Standing in grace becomes our new jurisdiction. We explore what it means to live as citizens of grace—investing in the work of grace, interpreting life through hope, and resisting the schemes that seek to push us around. Grace is not only a status; it becomes a spirit that turns a church into a harbor. Gossip gives way to kindness, suspicion to benefit-of-the-doubt, and isolation to encouragement that literally puts courage into people. By the end, joy feels plausible and even contagious, the kind of gladness that might start rumors of aisle-dancing because the war within has ended. If this encourages you, share it with a friend, subscribe for more teaching, and leave a review with one takeaway you're going to practice this week.Support the showStephen's latest book, The Disciples Prayer, is available now. https://www.wisdomonline.org/store/view/the-disciples-prayer-hardback

Send us a textReady to trade comfort for clarity? We're kicking off the year with a 21-day journey that goes beyond skipping meals and straight into a deeper pursuit of God. Fasting without prayer is just a diet; fasting with prayer, scripture, and generosity becomes a spiritual reset that reshapes your days, your decisions, and your desires. We share real stories and useful steps. Tabatha talks about fasting through a cancer battle and why walking into chemo in a fasted state (think autophagy and immune reset) paired with steady prayer brought strength and focus. Ken opens up about years of weekly fasting while launching a church and why he loves the benefits, even when his flesh complains. Together, we map out practical paths—sunrise-to-sunset, one-meal-a-day, Daniel-style—along with a rhythm that actually works: plan meals before day one, schedule prayer and scripture, reduce digital noise, and let hunger cues trigger time with God.Isaiah 58 gives us the blueprint: a fast that breaks yokes, feeds the hungry, and ushers in healing and light. We press into that promise with simple, doable actions—reallocate time and food money to serve, forgive quickly, invite accountability, and make this a family practice. Kids can give up one favorite thing, couples can align their plans, and singles can thrive with a strong check‑in partner. If you slip, adjust without quitting. Finish by reassessing what returns to your life and what stays on the altar, then extend the momentum with our six‑month challenge: build your calendar around church, daily time in the Word, and a steady, prayerful pace.Join us for 21 days, then decide what you never want to pick back up. CHRISTIAN LIFE COACH COLLECTIVE- Change Your Life, Start a Coaching Business, Walk in Your Calling

IDENTITY BEFORE STRATEGY- As we open a new year inside the Christian Life Coach Collective, this episode begins somewhere different. Not with pressure, performance, or planning, but with listening. Through prayer and guided reflection, you are invited to ask God who He says you are as a coach, why He shaped you the way He did, and who you are meant to serve. This episode walks you through identity, purpose, belonging, and a Great Exchange where lies are released and Truth is received, setting a grounded foundation for your coaching and business in the year ahead. Key Takeaways: Identity precedes clarity, and listening comes before doing. Your coaching purpose is often simple, faithful, and rooted in how God formed you. Belonging is about resonance, not chasing markets or money. Action Guide: Set aside quiet time this week to revisit the core questions from the episode. Ask God who He says you are, why He shaped you for coaching, and who you are meant to serve. Write down what you hear without editing or rushing. If lies surface, intentionally exchange them for Truth and let that Truth guide your next small, faithful step. A river can look full and still refuse to move. That's the honest picture we draw as we pray over the global church and unpack a vivid dream on a bridge in Berlin: the waters of revival rush where honor flows, and they stall where apostles and prophets are sidelined. We carry a bold conviction—God is ready to add billions—yet many congregations stay busy without breakthrough because we mislabel gifts, resist biblical roles, and treat apostolic offices with suspicion instead of faith. We walk through scripture with clarity and courage. Paul identified as an apostle without flinching, not to boast, but to name his assignment. Ephesians outlines the fivefold ministry—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers—not as a hierarchy, but as a complete ecosystem for the perfecting of the saints and the work of ministry. Evangelists gather, pastors guard, teachers ground, prophets guide, and apostles govern and pioneer. When we honor all five functions, grace flows in proportion to our reception. When we refuse or relabel, we limit the measure we can receive. This conversation names the obstacles—indifference, jealousy, competition—and offers a path forward: repent, realign language with function, make structural room for apostolic and prophetic voices, and cultivate a culture where accountability and honor coexist. We pray together for leaders, networks, and churches by name, not to condemn, but to position the body for maturity, unity, and measurable fruit. The goal is simple and urgent: restore the flow so communities transform, regions awaken, and the end-time harvest becomes more than a slogan. If this resonates, share it with your team, invite honest dialogue, and take one actionable step to recognize and activate the gifts in your house. Subscribe for future sessions, leave a review to help others find the message, and tell us: where do you see honor unlocking movement right now?We love to hear from our listeners! John and Jenny dive into the disturbing intersections between militarism, psychology, and religion within Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Drawing parallels to early Pentecostal cults and authoritarian movements, they examine how “spiritual warfare” language and practices condition young minds for obedience and control. Jenny shares her firsthand experience of life inside YWAM—where teenagers are sent on “target missions,” sleep-deprived prayer watches, and told demons lurk in everyday objects—while John connects these patterns to the mind control methods of Branhamism and early revival cults like those of Frank Sanford and John Alexander Dowie. Together they expose how hyper-spiritualized fear, trauma bonding, and dissociation produce lifelong anxiety and religious PTSD, even as participants believe they are serving God.______________________Weaponized Religion: From Christian Identity to the NAR:Paperback: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1735160962 Kindle: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DCGGZX3K ______________________– Support the channel: https://www.patreon.com/branham – Visit the website: https://william-branham.org

Midnight won't fix your life, but a decision might. We're closing the year by doing the uncomfortable work most people avoid: naming what we will leave behind so we can walk lighter, clearer, and truer. Instead of stacking new goals on old baggage, we cut off the dead weight—labels we accepted, habits that stole our time, and stories that made our struggles feel like our names.I share the line that stopped me in my tracks: sometimes you go through something so long you forget who you are. That idea reframed the whole year. We talk about the difference between trying and deciding, how language opens or closes escape hatches, and why conditions are not identity. If you've said “I'm trying to quit,” you'll hear how “I quit” changes your posture, your calendar, and your outcomes. We get practical about replacing doom scrolling, breaking negative self-talk with pattern interrupts, and building momentum through small, daily wins that compound into confidence. This conversation also leans on faith, community, and proof from your own life. You're not walking into 2026 empty handed—you're walking in with your track record, your grit, and your God-given strengths. The last five chapters of Answer to Job clearly show that Jung believed that the shadow in our psyche and the technological means at our disposal leave us in a most precarious apocalyptic situation .... “For the dark God has slipped the atom bomb and chemical weapons into his [humanity's] hands and given him the power to empty out the apocalyptic vials of wrath on his fellow creatures.” Jung was by no means clear that humanity could rise to the level required. Neither is it clear how this realisation may have affected his moods towards the end of his life but what is well known is that he spent his final days dictating his last visions to his daughter and Marie-Louise von Franz. These were often very somber (including images of global devastation), but he reportedly faced them with a sense of "objective" calm rather than despair.

The word Paradise is used infrequently in the Bible. Jesus tells the thief on the cross that they will be together that day in Paradise, and Paul says in 2 Corinthians that he had a powerful out-of-body (maybe!) experience in Paradise. Paradise is a Persian word describing a cool, relaxing garden in an arid climate, and it looks like Jesus is using this word to describe the intermediate state to promise the thief on the cross that after death - but before the resurrection - his spirit will be in a comfortable resting place with Jesus himself. This corresponds to the place Christians typically call “heaven”, as in “going to heaven when you die.” Although this usage amongst contemporary Christians is common, the Bible never says Christians go to heaven when they die. Instead, the biblical language of “heaven” describes the realm of God - a realm which overlaps and interlocks with our human realm in the person of Jesus. In other words, heaven is a reality Christians are experiencing already, but not yet completely. Chuck and Aaron also discuss the notion of “soul sleep” - a concept describing the possible unconscious state of believers in between their earthly deaths and the return of Jesus. Since Paul describes this state as “better” than life on earth, and as a “being” with Jesus, Chuck and Aaron both lean toward understanding this intermediate state as a conscious presence of the human spirit with Jesus while the human body remains on earth awaiting the final resurrection. And the idea of Purgatory - common in Roman Catholicism - has no attestation in the Bible. However, the Reformers' teaching against it by (rightly) insisting that the spirits of dead Christians are immediately with Jesus led to an unfortunate overemphasis on the intermediate state and an underemphasis on the resurrection of the dead, which they didn't emphasize since they shared this belief with their Roman Catholic opponents.
