Blaque and Aramithius go over the possible stories that can be done in the tottering aristocratic heap that is Calin. We particlularly look at how to do different Exalt types in the region, from the differences in how Lunars or Infernals would overthrow the place, and we even stumble into how to do a Sidereal office comedy in a place with outdated gods.We finish by presenting a Five Shades NPC, viewable as a quick character at https://wondrousatlas.wordpress.com/2025/02/20/mountain-li-ken/, and discuss creating an artefact ship for the Calinti navy.Find more episodes and story seeds at the show's website at https://www.wondrousatlas.wordpress.comWhen you're done check out the Table Top Tales podcast, also part of the d20 radio network - https://creators.spotify.com/pod/show/whatcomesafterHave questions? This week, MCU fans were bombarded with news! We'll discuss the reception of Madame Web, The X-Men 97 and Deadpool & Wolverine trailers, Fantastic Four casting, and Midnight Sons movie rumors. Beyond the cinema, we're telling 70s and 80s babies to pick up Thundercats issue 2 if you want the first appearance of a new Thundercat "Calica". We're also talking a few additional comics like Jackpot 1 which features a super-powered Mary Jane Watson, Sinister Sons 1 which gives us a DC comics villian version of the Super Sons, and Blue Book 1947 issue 1, which will be another mini-series documenting encounters, AT LEAST of the second kind... maybe third kind by the time the series is through!!?? Need more? Hop over to the Patreon, where next week we'll be discussing error variants, and a few buzzworthy comics.

When we hear the word "Demon" a good majority of us conjure up the image of some grotesque winged creature with sharp fangs and long claws. We automatically think evil and the mere sound of the word "Demon" might evoke a feeling of fear on some level. If that is the case, then we must realize that those responses are just a result of our programing. There are many approaches to answer the question of what demons are. Demons and/or Infernals, are not just aspects of our consciousness, they are also ancient Gods that have been demonized. If this topic interests you, listen and join us to learn more!

The Infernals are here! Our hosts jump in alongside Charles “Omnus” Arrasmith to go over the initial CID rules, detailing all of the information about the faction as of day 1 CID. We run through core rules, all of the models in their initial iteration, and the themes. The last ~30 or so minutes is devoted largely to discussing Hearts of Darkness, which was pulled from the CID prior to posting the cast, but still has some relevant thoughts for the future of the theme, and there’s about two and a half other solid hours of podcast for you to enjoy! We’re very excited about this faction, and hyped to see what comes next!

This week, Dickie Copeland joins Jen for a Halloween episode about two novels by John Connolly, The Gates, and its sequel, The Infernals. The books kick off with 11 year old Samuel Johnson discovering a portal between Earth and Hell through which a demonic horde intends to invade on Halloween, and chronicle Samuel's adventures battling the evil invasion with the help of his dachshund Boswell and a not-so-demonic demon named Nurd, among others. Naturally, this leads to Jen relating a traumatic childhood experience of her own, and Dickie revealing another novel she's reading that is disturbing and far less appropriate for young adults.
