La guardia urbana de Barcelona no puede más con tanta delincuencia y tres de cada cuatro agentes cogen la baja. En el programa de Javier Cárdenas nos hacemos eco de lo que está pasando con la guardia urbana en Barcelona, la cual está desbordada con la delincuencia en la ciudad, sin contar con la frustración de ver como algunos delincuentes detenidos, estén en la calle antes de que ellos terminen el papeleo. Todo esto lleva a un estado físico, anímico y mental que es difícil de soportar, lo cual provoca bajas laborales en un alto grado. En estos dos años, el cuerpo policial es el servicio municipal con más bajas por siniestras laborales. Si este 2023, las bajas de la Guardia Urbana significan el 76,7% del total. Barcelona es la ciudad española con mayor índice de criminalidad por habitante. Durante el verano se han disparado los robos a turistas, las peleas y las agresiones sexuales. Este fin de semana un tiroteo y un nuevo apuñalamiento se han sumado a la lista de delitos violentos. La sensación de inseguridad, es cada vez mayor. Los robos de relojes, móviles, joyas, hurtos en Las Ramblas, atracos en farmacias, agresiones sexuales preocupan tanto a vecinos como a la policía. Los delitos tienen como protagonistas a delincuentes cada vez más jóvenes y atrevidos. Los robos violentos crecieron casi un 40% y mientras la Policía denuncia falta de efectivos también se suman los casos de bajas temporales. No es solo la ciudad española con más delincuentes por cada 100.000 habitantes, también lidera el ranking del crecimiento del tráfico de drogas, con una subida de 210.0%, esta crecida obliga a los Mossos descuadra a crear una unidad especial para luchar contra el narco piso. Barcelona es la ciudad más insegura de España. No es una valoración política, sino la constatación de un hecho. Barcelona se ha convertido en una ciudad “degradada por la suciedad y el incivismo”, factores que cree que atraen a la delincuencia, como ocurre por ejemplo con los botellones, a su juicio un campo propiciatorio para el tráfico y el consumo de drogas, las agresiones sexuales, los robos y las peleas multitudinarias

Según el último Balance de Criminalidad del Ministerio del Interior.Desde hace algunos años, Barcelona ha visto cómo aumentaban los hechos delictivos en sus calles, sobre todo vinculados a la gran actividad turística que se desarrolla en ellas. Robos y agresiones en los diferentes barrios del centro barcelonés han copado titulares e informativos a nivel nacional y este año se han vuelto a incrementar con respecto al anterior.El mencionado aumento responde a la comparación de los últimos datos agregados del apartado 'criminalidad convencional'. El Ministerio engloba dentro de esta categoría a los homicidios, delitos de lesiones y riñas tumultuarias, secuestros, delitos contra la libertad sexual, robos con violencia e intimidación, robos con fuerza en domicilios o establecimientos, hurtos, sustracciones de vehículos o tráfico de drogas. Por su parte, las infracciones penales cometidas a través de Internet quedan excluidas de este cómputo.Los diferentes municipios que hay en la provincia de Barcelona se han convertido en el refugio de numerosos delincuentes, donde ya es toda una tradición ver actos violentos de todo tipo. La inseguridad ciudadana permanece en aumento, y las autoridades se sienten desbordadas. Por ello, tanto los habitantes como la Policía piden medidas para evitar que esta situación se vaya de las manos, y desemboque en tragedias de gran calibre.

Acabo de estar en Barcelona por motivos de trabajo. Las ciudades nos abrazan cargadas de escenas, sorpresas y recuerdos. Se hacen parte de nosotros y por eso viajan a lo largo de los años para que siga existiendo lo que ya no está. Unos amigos me invitaron a tomar una cerveza en Las Ramblas, en la terraza del Hotel 1898. Y al llegar allí empecé a vivir un día cualquiera de los años 80.
