Chilsen says that Nicor has requested a $308.6 million rate hike with “no justification.” This is Nicor’s fifth rate hike request since 2017, doubling delivery rates during that time, according to Chilsen.

Im Januar waren mein Mitgründer und guter Freund Nico und ich für einen Monat Off und haben unabhängig voneinander viel erlebt. Nearly every utility these days has made the leap to set decarbonization targets, whether that's committing to a certain percentage of net zero, renewable energy, clean energy, or other metric in the coming decades. While the focus for these ambitions often centers on switching electric utilities from fossil fuels to non-carbon alternatives, the reality remains that the natural gas utilities across the country will continue to play a critical role over the coming decades, even with more electrification pushes. But the presence of natural gas utilities doesn't need to work counter to decarbonization goals, and Nicor Gas is a leading innovator in the gas utility space that is demonstrating that fact. Es ist Januar und während ich in Berlin bei 0 Grad in der beheizten Wohnung sitze, genießt mein Mitgründer und guter Freund Nico die warme Sonne auf Bali. Es ist der 24. November und das Jahr neigt sich langsam dem Ende zu. In guter alter Tradition habe ich mich mit meinem Freund und Mitgründer von WEVOLVE Dr. Nico Rönpagel zum Check-In verabredet - um darüber zu sprechen, was uns gerade privat und beruflich so beschäftigt. In den ersten 20 Minuten sprechen wir vor allem über Nico's Erfahrungen beim Dark Retreat. Dieses Mal hat er sich für zwei Woche in einer komplett abgedunkelten Wohnung in Frankreich eingemietet um dort in der Stille zu sitzen und zu meditieren. Im weiteren Verlauf der Folge sprechen wir darüber, was uns gerade frustriert und was uns motiviert - und wir gehen der Frage auf den Grund, was "Frustration" eigentlich genau ist. Nach unserer 4-wöchigen Winterpause treffe ich mich mit meinem Mitgründer Dr. Nico Rönpagel zum ersten Mal in diesem Jahr für unseren Check-In. Eigentlich hatten mein Mitgründer Dr. Nico Rönpagel und ich für diesen Check-In Anfang Dezember geplant, das Jahr Revue passieren zu lassen.
