Chad sits down with Tony Vandemore of Habitat Flats, for the conversation we are all wanting to hear right now. The season is just around the corner, and things are more exciting than they have been in years. Tony was up at 1 a.m. watching radar and hoping for rain. That's the preseason nobody sees. The prairies are wetter than they've been in fifty years. Baby ducks on every piece of water. Tony breaks down what that means for the season, why mallards only move as far as they have to, and what five billion extra bushels of corn in the northern states is doing to migration. They get into Canada's new ten-day license rules, the possession limit debate, instant credibility on social media versus the way they actually came up, and whether we're really living in the golden age of waterfowl hunting right now. Tony started Habitat Flats in 2007. He knows this stuff as well as a person can. It's his entire life, and we are so grateful to have him back on the show to share his knowledge. This one's worth every minute. Book a hunt at habitatflats.com or email tony@habitatflats.com. This episode is brought to you by Benelli Shotguns, Federal Premium Ammunition, Banded Brands, Mojo Outdoors, Avery Outdoors, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Realtree Camo, CamoSpace, Rob Roberts Custom Gunworks, and GATR Coolers & Drinkware.
Chad's back with part one of the Nebraska to Texas trip. It starts in Lincoln at the University of Nebraska Cornhusker volleyball camp, where Alyssa held her own against some serious competition and walked away with more to work on and more to be proud of. From there it's Waco and the Baylor Bears elite volleyball camp, Terry Black's barbecue, and dinner with Ted Nugent and Shemane that was supposed to last an hour and went almost two. Then Austin. Lazer's Drunk Uncles podcast, Joe DeRosa, the World Cup at a bar packed with 4,000 people, Dos Equis with lime and salt, and a band called Nether Hour that Chad can't stop talking about. Bluesy, soulful, a little Van Morrison, a little Stapleton. Go find them. Chad gets into real talk about raising an athlete, what D1 recruiting actually looks like, the mindset it takes to keep working when you see how good the competition really is, and why he wouldn't change any of it. Part 2 is coming! Get ready for Gruene Hall, Hayes Carl, Luckenbach, Compadres in Bertie, and Axis deer hunting with Federal Premium. This episode is presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by LEER Truck Toppers, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Corning Ford, Bodyguard Bumpers, GATR Coolers & Drinkware, Demerbox, Oakley Sunglasses, and Napa Valley Olive Oil.
The deadline is August 7th. Act now. ducks.org/save-the-duck-factory https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2026/07/24/2026-14995/national-wildlife-refuge-system-request-for-information-on-implementation-of-drain-tile-setbacks The prairie pothole region; stretching across Montana, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and up into Canada, is responsible for producing up to sixty-five percent of the ducks that fly down every flyway in North America. Since the 1960s, duck hunters have invested in 1.7 million acres of wetland easements through duck stamp purchases to protect those wetlands permanently. No drainage. No impact. Forever. That protection is now being threatened. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has published a request for information regarding the 2024 rule that governs tile drain setbacks on those easements, and has signaled an intent to repeal it. If that rule is weakened, those wetlands could lose up to twenty-eight percent of their inundated area in the first year alone. Fewer wetlands means fewer pairs. Fewer pairs means fewer ducks. This is the science. This is what's at stake. Chad sat down with Dr. Scott Stephens, Sr. Director of Prairie and Boreal Forest Conservation Strategy at Ducks Unlimited, and Dr. Mike Brasher, Senior Waterfowl Scientist at Ducks Unlimited, for one of the most important conversations ever recorded on this podcast. They break down what easements are, what tile drainage is, what the 2024 rule does, why it matters, and exactly what you can do right now to protect it. If you've ever bought a duck stamp, you are an investor in this habitat. Your voice matters right now. The comment deadline is August 7th. Go to ducks.org/save-the-duck-factory to sign the petition and submit your comment to the Federal Register. The direct Federal Register comment link is also in the show notes. This episode proudly features Ducks Unlimited and is brought to you by Benelli Shotguns, Nutrien Ag Solutions, MOJO Outdoors, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Corning Ford, LEER Truck Toppers, and GATR Coolers & Drinkware.
Part 2 picks up right where Part 1 left off, and it gets more heated. The Iran deal takes center stage. Alex is over it. Brett explains the business strategy behind it and why $300 billion isn't just a handout. Chad defends Trump harder than anyone in the room expected. Clay drops the thought-provoking line no one wants to believe... maybe the swamp is just deeper than anyone thought. They get into Ukraine disappearing from the news cycle entirely, the currency revaluation theory, why Republicans might not win another presidency for a long time if nothing happens before November, and what the next two and a half years look like if the midterms go sideways. Brett's giving Trump until October. That's the deadline, and everything hinges on it. This is our favorite series to keep us in the know, and keep your mind open! Enjoy! This episode is presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by GATR Coolers & Drinkware, Demerbox, LEER Truck Toppers, Napa Valley Olive Oil, TKO Vitality, Oakley Sunglasses, and Corning Ford.
Chad doesn't spend a ton of time in the rodeo world, but sitting down with Dusty Tuckness, it's hard not to see how much it mirrors everything The Fowl Life stands for. Dusty's a hunter, so this one was a natural. Dusty has been voted into the National Finals Rodeo by the top bull riders in the world 17 years in a row. This is a record that's never been touched. A lot of people in the stands don't even know who he is. That's the job. Step in, take the hit, protect the guy everyone else is watching. They sit down the day after Dusty took a hard one. A subluxed hip, stretched hammy, sprained MCL — and went back out and fought 11 more bulls. They get into the split-second decisions, the two-man team, and what it really means to do a job nobody sees coming, but everybody needs when things go wrong. Dusty talks openly about his faith, getting through a compound fracture of his tib and fib, and why he considers himself a Christian who just happens to fight bulls. Chad brings the mallard duck story, the veterans he's hunted with, and what this lifestyle has actually given him. Animal ethics, the hunting and rodeo crossover, Rocker Steiner, Stetson Wright, and Caesars Rodeo all come up too. This episode is brought to you by Benelli Shotguns, Federal Premium Ammunition, Banded Brands, Avery Outdoors, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Corning Ford, Resistol Hats, Rob Roberts Custom Gunworks, LEER Truck Toppers, GATR Coolers & Drinkware, and HiViz Sights.
Chad's got Brett Fritz, Alex Crosby, and Clay Belding in the studio and they're not holding back. Brett still believes Trump was put here for a reason and that we're watching a movie play out in real time. The central casting references, the replacements, the mask theory, all of it. Chad's defending Trump to his own crew. Clay's quietly skeptical. And Alex is just trying to get a word in. They cover Q theory, Obama's presidential library and who paid for it, Epstein files and why they fizzled, the Joan Rivers theory, vaccine patents predating COVID, Newsom fraud, Minnesota learning centers, birthright citizenship, and what Justice Thomas wrote in his 91-page dissent that nobody in the media talked about. And then Brett lands on the question that closes out Part 1 — is any of this actually getting out, or is the media just going to cover it up and bury it? Part 2 drops next week.
Chad had his crosshairs on a 225-pound Axis deer for over ten minutes. A brand-new round from Federal Premium he'd never shot on game before. And the whole time, one thought he couldn't shake... is the bullet big enough? That moment of doubt, the breathing, the trigger squeeze, and what happened when they walked up on that deer within 20 feet of where the shot landed; that's what this episode is about. Chad recaps his Axis deer hunt at Iron Game Ranch in Stonehouse, Texas with Federal Premium CEO Jason Vanderbrink, breaks down the brand new 6.5 Creedmoor Plus Peak and what it's capable of, gets into why Axis deer might be the best eating game animal in North America, and talks through how he's using every piece of this animal from hunter's ham to custom purses to pillows. It's a hunt recap, a shooting system breakdown, and an honest conversation about confidence, doubt, and what it means to trust your gear when it counts. Season 18 of Benelli's The Fowl Life is on the Outdoor Channel now. Season 19 filming starts in September. This episode is presented by Federal Premium Ammunition and brought to you by Benelli Shotguns, HiViz Sights, Rob Roberts Custom Gunworks, Nutrien Ag Solutions, CamoSpace, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Corning Ford, LEER Truck Toppers, and GATR Coolers & Drinkware.
Dusty Tuckness has been voted into the National Finals Rodeo by the top bull riders in the world 17 years in a row. That's a record nobody else has touched. Chad sits down with Dusty the day after he took a hit — subluxed hip, stretched hammy, sprained MCL — and went back out and fought 11 more bulls that same night. They get into what it takes to step in front of an 1,800-pound animal that just threw somebody off and wants someone on the ground. The split-second decisions. The two-man team. Knowing when you're going to take the shot before it even lands. But this conversation goes well beyond rodeo. Dusty talks openly about his faith and how it carried him through a compound fracture of his tib and fib, how it shapes the way he competes, and why he considers himself a Christian who just happens to fight bulls. Chad brings his own story; the mallard duck that started Banded, the veterans he's raised money for, and what this lifestyle gives to him. They also get into Rocker Steiner, Stetson Wright, the camaraderie of the rodeo world, animal ethics, the crossover between hunting culture and rodeo, and what it means to be the unsung hero in an arena full of people watching someone else. This episode is presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by Caesars Rodeo, Resistol Hats, Demerbox, GATR Coolers & Drinkware, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Corning Ford, Bodyguard Bumpers, and LEER Truck Toppers.
Mitch Petrie joins Chad from a campsite in Wisconsin, and the two get into it. They talk Wisconsin versus Minnesota, the political tension Mitch has watched build at home, and the infighting that's been creeping into the hunting community, including Chad's response to Matt Rinella's Hunt Quietly podcast and the argument that outdoor TV has done more harm than good. Mitch breaks down where outdoor television actually stands right now: the audience, the numbers behind My Outdoor TV and Game and Fish TV, why linear isn't dead even if it's changed, and whether a new producer could ever build a show like The Fowl Life from the ground up today. Chad and Mitch close it out talking sheep tags, axis deer recipes, and nineteen seasons of The Fowl Life still going strong. This episode is brought to you by Benelli Shotguns, Federal Premium Ammunition, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Travel Wisconsin, HiViz Sights, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Avery Outdoors, Banded Brands, Corning Ford, Rob Roberts Custom Gunworks, LEER Truck Toppers, and GATR Coolers & Drinkware.

Will is host of FOX News Channel's The Will Cain Show. The guys talk about conviction, work ethic, belief, and what it means to stand firm in your values, especially when it's easier not to. It's full of inspiration, passion, and topics that make you really think. Set against one of the premier waterfowl destinations in the country, this conversation is the kind you will only find in hunt camp. This episode is presented by Banded Drake Ranch, and brought to you by Benelli Shotguns, Federal Premium Black Cloud, Hi Viz Sights, Mickey Thompson Tires, Napa Valley Olive Oil, Rob Roberts Custom Gunworks, Corning Ford, Leer Camper Shells, Oakley Sunglasses, and GATR Coolers and Drinkware!

Matt Capozzi has always loved being in the mountains, but he's also enjoyed an incredible career working in product design for brands like Burton, Nike, Nixon, and Smith. In 2015, Matt had a wild idea to help people ‘bring the mountains home,' which led to the creation of North Drinkware, which produces beautiful, artisanal products — like handblown glassware — made in Oregon.Today I talk with Matt about how a life spent designing everything from snowboarding bindings, to wearable fitness tech, to watches led him to the improbable (and rather harrowing) launch of North Drinkware. We also get into the art of glass blowing, the science of crafting your favorite mountains into the bottoms of drinkware, why authenticity is everything, and what the future of North looks like.RELATED LINKS:Check out the Blister Craft CollectiveBecome a BLISTER+ MemberNorth DrinkwareTOPICS & TIMES:Blister Craft Collective (1:20)What is North Drinkware? Ever wonder what it really takes to survive the chaos of live comedy—while keeping both your soul and your liver intact? Chad pulls up a chair with the mullet-rocking, mic-wielding Uncle Lazer to peel back the raw layers of a life stitched together with laughter, grit, and a few scars along the way. They get into it all: the high-wire act of staying sober enough to deliver your best, the delicate art of turning a room full of strangers into your biggest fans, and why crowd work is both a comedian's worst nightmare and deadliest weapon when mastered. Uncle Lazer holds nothing back. From the doors that slammed in his face to the breaks that launched him forward, to advice his mama gave him as a boy, he lays it all out. But this episode isn't just punchlines and applause. It's about the shadows behind the spotlight, the battles with darkness, the struggle to find your tribe, and the reality of building something real when the world is watching. This is the side of comedy you won't see on stage. This episode is brought to you by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey, Bad Boy Mowers, GATR Coolers and Drinkware, The Nashville Palace, Corning Ford, Mickey Thompson Tires, Napa Valley Olive Oil, Traeger Grills, The Provider Culinary, Cowboy Choice Feeds, and RESISTOL Cowboy Hats!
In this episode, my guest is Dr. Shanna Swan, Ph.D., professor of environmental medicine and reproductive health at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Swan is the world's leading expert on the harmful impact of chemicals in our food, water, cosmetics, and various household and consumer products on our hormones, and the consequences for fertility and overall reproductive health. She explains how exposure to phthalates and other endocrine disruptors adversely impacts fetal development, puberty, and the adult brain and body. We discuss the global decline in human fertility due to disruptive environmental toxins, such as pesticides, and certain foods and beverages we consume. We discuss practical strategies to minimize exposure to harmful chemicals, such as phthalates, bisphenol A (BPA), BPS, and PFAS. This includes reducing disposable plastic use, making healthier food preparation, consumption, and storage choices, and selecting personal and household products that don't contain harmful toxins. This episode allows you to assess your risk of exposure to endocrine disruptors accurately and empowers you to take control of your hormone health and fertility.
