The screaming allegations and just as loud responses about the fault for the massive California fires, principally in the Los Angeles area, continue and are getting louder. The chief lawmaker in California, Governor Gavin Newsome, continues to deflect any responsibility he may have for helping prepare for this recent rash of devasting forest fires. In today's show, you will hear President Trump back in 2019 publicly repeating his private advice to Newsome about the constant ignoring of fire preparations that have worked well at stopping fires across the World for centuries. Additionally, you'll hear more excuses (and responsibilities) from leaders at the California and Los Angeles levels about commitment to the California people. So far, no one wants to accept responsibility. Trump's continued promises for control of Greenland were met with anger from the media, which stated there was no way this would happen. Surprisingly, Greenland leaders have reached out to Trump, stating that they are ready and willing to. have those conversations! There's much more for you to consider from today's show.

Today, we break down the latest revelations of corrupt actions taken by several California state and Los Angeles laws regarding actions taken regarding fire prevention. You'll hear from Governor Gavin Newsome that no personal actions and/or inactions happened on his watch. He stated, "They were local matters." The death toll in L.A. continues to rise while firefighters struggle to bring those fires under control. The existing fires are expected to escalate drastically because the forecasted Santa Anna winds are expected to escalate over the next few days. We analyze the expectations for the Trump Cabinet nominees as they appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee to be interviewed for those positions. Pete Hegseth, nominated for the Secretary of Defense position, was the first to appear before the committee. We will continue to give you updates on these nominees committee hearings.

The latest news about the horrors of the fires in Los Angeles is dominating news across the nation and the World. Meanwhile, investigations reveal how deep and wide the evidence of this debacle is being prevented. Leaders in Los Angeles and the California government are complicit in numerous ways in an unfathomable stream of events that never happened that should have occurred in preparation to protect Californians from the massive loss of homes and businesses and even loss of life. You'll hear numerous details from today's show that you will shake your head in disgust when you listen to who the people are and how they literally lit the fires themselves. You'll hear specific explanations of Governor Gavin Newsome's fraudulent inactions, which could have almost certainly prevented the devastation totally or at least mitigated any losses from those six fires.Donald Trump was sentenced for those 34 felonies he was convicted for in the New York case. However, legal experts maintain that all charges will be reversed when appealed. So, why did they push to sentence Trump? The only purpose for the Leftist sycophants pushing for this was to be able to say Donald Trump is the only U.S. President to be a convicted felon!

Today's show continues to examine the terrible (and preventable) tragedy that is the wild fires in Los Angeles and LA County. Governor Gavin Newsome demonstrates all that has gone wrong with the Left – they want control and power over everyone and everything, but when things go wrong, they take no responsibility. Mayor Karen Bass is not only cut from the same cloth, her back story is even worse! Before we get to who Karen Bass really is, we jump over to CNN to once again champion the bravery of Scott Jennings for putting himself through what has to be one torturous evening after another, doing battle with paid operatives of the Left. While host Abby Phillip does nothing but regurgitate Democrat narratives, guest Representative Dusty Johnson (R-SD) is left to not only provide truth, but also correct Phillip's blind loyalty to her party. Back to Mayor Karen Bass. To understand her, we first have to remind you about the all-female domestic terrorist group M19 and their bombing of the US Capitol on November 7, 1983. This leads us to the Communist group, Venceremos Brigade. Then, we tie it all together with Karen Bass, who was a leader of that Brigade and was responsible for mentoring M19. And now, she is the Mayor of LA. Actress Patricia Heaton shared her thoughts, echoing what I've been saying here on the show. I follow that up with comments from actor Zachary Levi who also sees the situation the same. Then, to tie it all together, we turn to Michael Shellenberger who tells us not to believe the leadership of California when they want to blame everyone else but themselves. We close with Donald Trump talking to reporters about the self-inflicted problems in the state of California and a comment from Katie Hopkins from the UK about Donald Trump. Let us truly hope we are in the midst of a massive political upheaval that will change the course of this nation and the free world. President-Elect Donald Trump accused Governor Gavin Newsome of Ruining California. Newsome has called for a special session of the State Legislature to prepare to block any Trump Administration Proposals that might be harmful to California. Governor Newsome call it "Trump-Proofing." Trump is not amused. But California will rely on what is called the “anti-commandeering” principle: the federal government cannot force states to adopt regulations or administer federal mandates. The Supreme Court used this principle to hold that the federal government could not force state and local governments to conduct background checks before issuing permits for firearms. In the meantime, Federal Workers are anxious and worried about layoffs and transfers once Trump is sworn into office. These two stories and more are in the Weekend Edition of the Political Woman Podcast. Please subscribe.

The United States military has also recently approved the use of AI drones making their own decisions on who to kill without human intervention. This is the beginning of something far more nefarious as the global shadow government ushers in a scripted World War 3 scenario, launched by false flag operations. In California, Governor Gavin Newsome is rolling out a new AI powered surveillance system to track and trace all individuals in the state. The Swiss government is also rolling out laws to restrict the population to 10 million people until 2050. They are utilizing technocracy to enslave the masses, force them into a dependent slumber, control what they eat, where they go and what they spend. They plan to kill us once they've sucked all of the humanity out of us. From bombing Palestine to forcing us into further war in Russia, Iran and China. From fearmongering about the climate to forcing us into 15 Minute Cities. From attempting to exasperate the crime rate to forcing biometrics and a surveillance state as a so-called "solution." It couldn't be more clear that THIS is go time. THIS is the "New World Order," THIS is the Great Reset. Interviewer: AUDREY JAQUISS. The California legislature has passed two bills, now awaiting Governor Gavin Newsome's signature, that potentially open up a new frontier in environmental law and climate action. As law professor MICHAEL GERRARD and Wharton professor ERIC ORTS explain, SB 253 would require that companies disclose their carbon emissions, and SB 261 their vulnerability to climate-related risks, in a standardized, verifiable way, making it more difficult for them to hide behind vague mission statements and inflated carbon offsets. In their discussion with political scientist Audrey Jaquiss, Gerrard and Orts point out that, while these laws would not directly mandate emission reductions, they would put a powerful tool in the hands of activists, legislators, shareholders and consumers to demand measurable progress in the fight against climate change. They also discuss potential roadblocks, both in the form of legal challenges and relentless lobbying efforts to weaken the final regulations, but remain hopeful that, as it has in the past, California's laws might have an impact well beyond its borders.

Live from the Heart of America—I'm Steve Gruber—ready to fight for you from the Foxhole of Freedom—giving you better analysis and insight than anyone else—shining a spotlight into the darkness of the political/media industrial complex swamp—and delivering— the relentless pursuit of truth!   Here are the 3 Big Things you need to know to start today—   Number One— UFO's are seriously at the top of the page again today—as more people are coming forward saying the United States has several out of this world items in possession—   Number Two— New revelations indicate that it was Ukraine that bombed the Russian Nordstream pipelines—and a dam that could lead to a nuclear reactor meltdown—and we're funding these maniacs—   Number Three— It has become clear; the permission slip has been given to let Joe Biden, flounder, falter and fail—   It may not be something that you see in the headlines but all indications are now that the Democrats at the highest level are looking for an exit strategy from Biden and his VP on the 2024 ticket as soon as possible—   Spooked by recent polling numbers that show the soon to be 81 year old Commander in Chief and leading Democrat candidate falling behind the former President Donald Trump by as much as 6 points had the DNC power brokers on edge already—and the many missteps were not helping the case of the 46th President—   But each time Old Joe has been challenged—he comes back with the same refrain—watch me—and the problem for Biden is that we have been—all of us—here in the United States and around the world—and nobody likes what they see—even hard core Democrats and Biden supporters are drifting away—with only 30 percent of them even wanting Biden on the ticket next year—   But Joe Biden, plagued by growing scandals involving himself, his son Hunter and several other Biden family members—connected to massive multi-million dollar payments—and accusations of bribery and money laundering—remains very much arrogant and defiant—    The problem like I said for the President—is that people have been watching—and to any honest person its clear—the Joe Biden of today is not the one of a few years ago—and not even the one that ran for President in 2020—its not that he's lost a step—it looks like he has lost his way—and I mean that in a very literal sense on many days—    Then came the moment the people in power—and his handlers feared most—he began to do the little jog thing he's been doing to show his vigor—and this time it wasn't falling on the steps of Air Force One—that we all remember from 2021—   No, this time it came in front of the graduating class of the Air Force Academy—for the entire world to see—    Everyone knows how frail the President has become—and how incoherent on an all to regular basis—   It has risen to the point—that the people that are actually running things in the West Wing have said its time to cut him loose—we know that because they are letting him fall—babble—wander around lost—and look incompetent to everyone— so they gave the green light to push Biden out—   But how?   Biden, as I mentioned remains defiant—and yes arrogant—to the point that you have to wonder if he will do as he is told—if that means being told to step aside—   My guess is he will not—at least not for awhile yet—and then drums up memories of 1968 when LBJ—in March told the world he was not going to continue—even if they wanted him too—   And that stunning announcement left the Democrats scrambling to pick up the pieces—which ultimately failed in epic fashion—and Richard Nixon capturing the White House that year—   Ironically, 1968 was also the last year the Democrats assembled in Chicago for their convention just like they will do in 2024—and 1968 was not a time any of them would like to remember—with violence—rioting—and police dragging away protestors in the streets for days on end—   The situation in Chicago today—is also a reflection of the Democrat Party—just like it was in 1968—   Violence is out of control—in fact its worse today than it was then—the number of murders in the windy city has already exceeded last years record numbers—   Chicago has gone so far left—the city even tossed out its mayor in a recent election—but didn't do any better in the replacement they selected—in fact many might say worse—   Today political activists screaming about climate change, transgender issues, capitalism and a host of other far-left issues could easily turn the 2024 into something far worse than August of 1968—after all, the city like so many others has lost thousands of police officers and the city's ability to respond to rioting and violence is greatly diminished—   So, what is the plan?   The plan is to push President Biden out the door in the next 6 to 12 weeks—allowing plenty of time for preferred candidates to get into a primary run—and trust me—Kamala Harris is not the answer the left is looking for either—as she has proven time and time again that she is not ready for the big stage—or even the kids table on most days—   And strangely about the only way to extricate her from the race to replace Biden without alienating an already skittish black voter base—is to have her fail in a primary contest against other candidates—otherwise black voters may rebel more than they already have in recent weeks—   Which brings me to the preferred ticket for the Democrats—which I believe is Governor Gavin Newsome of California with Governor Gretchen Whitmer as his running mate—however it could just as easily be reversed—either way it would give the Democrats a far stronger ticket than the soon to be 81 year old gaffe machine—and his clown Veep— who have been given the green light to be broomed into the trash heap of history—   I believe the end of Biden as a candidate will happen in the next 6 to 12 weeks—BUT who knows—it could happen tomorrow—   I mean careful on that bike ride Mr. President—and don't get sand bagged trying to look vigorous—and be really careful climbing onto Air Force One—I mean a lot can happen in just one day—

The Family Research Center's Director of their Center For Family Studies, Dr. Jennifer Bauwens, details a bill passed by the California State Assembly that allows the state government to take custody of minors seeking what some call "gender affirming care". If/when the state takes custody of the minors, government approval could be granted for hormonal and even potentially surgical transgender treatments even if the child's parents disagree and object. Governor Gavin Newsome has until September 30th to sign or veto the bill. I first went to the great state of California in the year 1957. The first thing I saw after deplaning was:CALIFORNIA IS A STATE OF MIND A fabulous state of mind. A land exciting, gorgeous, naturally beautiful border to border and most importantly a land of opportunity. A land where entrepreneurs could thrive, work was plentiful, a democratic land indeed, truly American in every way where anyone could pursue:THE AMERICAN DREAMHow this once great state has changed, radically changed. It talks of secession, negotiating directly with foreign nations, establishing its own immigration policies in many ways creating benefits for illegals more so than American citizens. California is, says the Wall Street Journal “a leading exporter of progressive policy and businesses.” It has become WOKE in so many ways, radical in so many ways SOCIALISTIC. It drives business away. It taxes greedily. It ignores our beloved Constitution in so many ways. California is no longer the epitome of the American dream, THE AMERICAN STATE OF MIND but in fact the leading exporter of progressive policy and businesses. The latest example is legislation which would allow the government to determine and fix fast – food worker wages and micromanage restaurants. This legislation as passed by the California democratic legislature creates a ten member council appointed by the governor and state legislative leaders with virtual CARTE BLANCHE authority to fix wages, benefits and working conditions at most fast – food restaurants. Get ready to eat higher prices and be ready for the inevitable lower business and job opportunities and growth. The California state minimum wage is already among the highest in the United States at $15 per hour. The new socialistic council authorized by the legislation has signaled it may raise the minimum wage to as much as $22 next year! Not only that, but the council could well decide there would be a 3.5% increase in that minimum wage every year thereafter. It has, further, the authority to provide paid vacation or protest days away from work and it could even consider a work week with as few as 32 hours. Fast – food workers would enjoy incredible benefits, favoritism more so than any other class of workers in the once great state of California. The legislation would comprehend some 16,753 franchise locations in California and the effect on small business in the state would be disastrous.Restaurants will almost certainly be forced to raise prices to the extent they can in order to cover higher labor costs. But the end result could be a significant drop in sales since many of the customers of fast – food restaurants simply could not afford any substantially increased food prices. That could force restaurants to reduce work hours or layoff employees. Some in lower income areas may be economically required to close. Those restaurants simply could not pass on these newly increased costs to their customers. Governor Gavin Newsome, radical as they come and a purported democratic candidate for President 2024, does his best to soften the economic blow by telling Californians that the legislation only affects fast – food restaurant chains with 100 or more establishments nationwide. But the incredible economic damage which this new ten member labor council can inflict will in fact extend well beyond fast – food restaurants. Other businesses, including hotels, retail, food delivery services and more which compete with restaurants for workers will be forced to dramatically increase their minimum hourly wage, or cut back on services and refuse to retain or attempt to hire new workers. Their labor costs, along with many other sectors of the economy, dramatically increased will be passed on to their customers, if they can. What a tragedy for California. This legislation and the act of its radical governor is a tragic example of socialism at work, governmental control over private enterprise and a virtual destruction of the economic competitive position of these desirable and even necessary businesses. We will witness even more economical decline, the loss of jobs, and the exodus of more businesses OUT OF THE STATE or shut down as a result of economic necessity. It seems incredible to think that a small, radical minority, democrats by political label, can get such total control, political and economic control over one of America's largest and most influential states. California seems to have so many inhabitants, citizens legal and illegal who simply vote for a party, protest little, virtually uninvolved in the political process with little understanding and the autocrats in Sacramento do virtually anything they wish, ANYTHING! Edmund Burke reminded us that when good people abandoned the political arena, the bad take over. California, perhaps more than any other state has produced politicians and political decision makers who are increasingly anti – American, anti – Constitution and rule of law more than any other state. We who continue to have the privilege of doing business in California, in our case spreading the gospel and championing all things GOD AND COUNTRY can only hope for revival, a re – awakening of the citizenry, significant voting changes and a RETURN, a passionate return to the morals, values, principles and ideals of the traditional and true AMERICA. If not, California will continue to change, not at all for the better, it will continue to set anti – American examples, and continue to be as the Wall Street Journal says “a leading exporter of progressive businesses and policies.” I knew California in 1957. That state and its state of mind gone, perhaps never to return. That is a sad and unbelievable loss to all Americans. We do hope and pray that your state, whether Colorado, Michigan, New York, Illinois, Indiana, Alabama or any other never follows suit. But it will unless you, WE THE PEOPLE in those great American states stand up, say no and prevent yet another state from becoming yet another California. Do it, my fellow Americans, do it with all your passionate and political might. FREEDOM ONCE LOST IS LOST FOREVER!

Dangers of magic-thinking in politicians and a Special Master granted

Today's show opens with a review of term I use often when dealing with Leftists – magic-thinking. It goes hand-in-hand with another phrase I often use to describe the juvenile thinking and behaviors in the current regime. While magic-thinking is great for actors and for young children who engage in make-believe, it is dangerous when embodied by those in government. A politician suffering from and over-abundance of magic-thinking, often uses the power of their position to force that thinking onto us. A great example of this can be illustrated with Governor Gavin Newsome's recent decree that no gasoline powered vehicle will be sold in California beginning in 2035. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm thinks it's a great idea and that California is leading the way for the rest of the world. But, only days after making the decree, the same state of California is now worried it lacks the electrical infrastructure to manage a heat wave and have begged residents NOT to charge their electric vehicles during peak hours. This is what happens when you let people exert their magic-thinking over the lives of those who elected them. The technology is not there to handle the needs already, but magic-thinking tells them it will all work out – magically. Another example of this can be seen in a recent exchange between White House correspondent Peter Doocy and Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. It seems Karine did not accept the 2016 presidential election nor Governor Brian Kemp's (R-GA) election against Stacy Abrams. The White House has said not accepting election results is an example of an extremist position that is dangerous to our democracy. When asked what is different about today versus then, she simply said the comparison was “ridiculous.” That's right, ladies and gentlemen, there is no need to answer the question or strive for any consistency. All that matters is when they do something it's considered righteous, but if the opposition does the same it's considered a threat to our democracy. That's what happens with magic-thinking. Now, I have to get into Judge Aileen Cannon's order, released yesterday, granting Donald Trump's request for a special master to review everything seized in the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago. I spend time breaking down pertinent parts of the judges order and it seems, at least for now, damning for the Biden DOJ and is in support of the Plaintiff, Donald Trump. The most devastating finding in the Judge's order comes at the closing when she said, “the risk that the [Biden DOJ's] filter review process will not adequately safeguard [Trump's] privileged and personal materials in terms of exposure to either the Investigative Team or the media – Plaintiff has sufficiently established irreparable injury.” In other words, the selective leaks, the changing narrative, the lies and the obfuscation are so one-sided already, that it may not be possible for Donald Trump to ever recover from those injuries brought to bear on him or his character as a result of the Biden DOJ. What we had all better come to terms with and quickly, is the knowledge that once an unprecedented action has been allowed to take place, it now establishes precedent. In so doing, it is only a matter of time before the tables are turned and today's opposition party decides they can do the same thing to their opponent. Is that really the America in which we want to live? Take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. Welcome to another wonderful week to check out the cannabis industry. This is Elliot lane, host of BENZINGA CANNABIS DAILY PODCAST.let's dive in. We got some California news to start off our day. We do have earnings. I was hoping I might get a break from those. Just kidding. There are great news, but at the same time, wow. How many earnings did we go over last week? But back to California, governor Gavin Newsome is looking to combat the illicit cannabis market and make the legal industry more competitive in large part by zeroing out the cultivation tax businesses currently incur among some other items, but. What a move. In terms of this is what people have been pining for what seems like years. So I'm so glad he's finally listening. This isn't a budget proposal by the way. So this is not a law yet, or a, an adjustment of a law. But we'll see how. Progresses. I would say this is very positive news for the California cannabis industry. If you're looking for stocks to watch based off this news, obviously this will not be immediately effective for any of these companies, but take a look at the parent company at state house and or Harbor side. Take a look at glass house group. There are several to look at. Speaking of California. This is more on the side, six elementary aged students or taken to the hospital after eating cannabis laced, Cheetos were provided by another student at the school. So they are not bought at the school or from the. And apparently the student did not know that his or her Cheetos were laced. Then when you read the article, one student says the other student added a little bit of something to the Cheetos.I don't know. We'll see what happens here. Hopefully this isn't another case of that Florida bride lacing her wedding feast with with weed. But this obviously is not the first time that this has happened. So this is unfortunate per the AARP study occurred. Okay. 500,000 people between the ages of 40 and 69 focused on heart health, close to 35,000 of those people reported smoking cannabis 11,000 reported smoking more than once a month.Researchers controlled for age, gender, and body mass, which all have an impact on the heart. Findings of this, where those who reported smoking weed more than once a month or more likely than others to have a heart attack. More than that, frequent users were more likely than those who abstained to have their first heart attack by the age of 50, which means there, there will be more chance for heart attacks after the age of 50.This is an interesting bit of news. Obviously, this. Something that's very focused on heart health. There, there was quite a bit of science in the article as well. So I recommend looking that up and checking it out for yourselves, for sure. Columbia care CC HWF on the OTC reports, their first quarter revenues of $123 million up 43% year over year. But down 12% sequentially reiterate their guidance of 625 to 675 million for the year. I will say. Across the board. Q1 is seasonally a down time for cannabis companies as reported by pretty much every major cannabis executive from operationally driven cultivation focuses to people not buying as much after the holidays. You do see some solid numbers and increases or flat. Lions like true leaving, purely for spectrally. But overall, the seems to be the trend CBW TF that is Oxley a up and coming licensed producer in Canada reports. Their first quarter revenue declined sequentially 23% to 22.6 million Canadian. But it's up 147% year over year, they continue as the top market share position for cannabis. 2.0 products per their press release Medipharm labs, M E D I F sees a slower Q1 as well. Revenue of 4.9 million down, both sequentially and year over year, they entered the U S pharmaceutical market for an FDA drug master file or a D M S.For pure natural CBD API. This is the first for Canadian companies that I believe or first for Canadian companies entering the U S and second for overall north American DMS, Verano, VR, N O F and Tyson 2.0, both launch mobile apps. Check those out Verano for their Zin. Leave Tyson 2.0. Tyson 2.0 a Delta nine, the LTF on the OTC also reports the company closed an acquisition in Q1 of 17.Dispensary's bringing their total to 35 brick and mortars. They also completed a strategic financing of 10 million from sundial and other credit facility of over 30 million. The revenues were down 13.2 million at two 12.5 million year over year. Overall, I think there are a company to. They are definitely have been improving and trending up recently. But also that sundial financing is interesting last but not least Ohio activists and state officials have reached an agreement for marijuana legalization to not be on the ballot this year. But I've reached a lawsuit settlement that puts the campaign on a path for 2023. All right. Y'all who is the winner today? There's not a whole lot of positive reports going on. I'm going to keep Delta nine on my watch list. I'm going to keep Columbia care on my watch list just because they're Columbia care and because of Columbia care, Cresco labs. But that being said, keep an eye on the California companies and how they move.On that news from governor Gavin Newsome and the budget proposal there. This is Elliot lane host of cannabis daily. Republicans sent to Governor Cooper does not include Medicaid expansion. Cooper is a longtime advocate of giving Medicaid coverage to hundreds of thousands of low-income adults. However Republicans remain divided over the idea of expanding Medicaid coverage. Legislative and Executive branches are trying to come up with a two-year budget that Cooper would be willing to sign into law. The alternate plan would be for lawmakers to approve their own final spending and try to override what Cooper would likely veto. In national news, NPR reports a series of strong storms bringing powerful wind, mountain snow, and substantial rainfall are expected to impact the Western United States. Parts of Northern California could receive up to ten inches of precipitation. The active weather pattern could help alleviate drought conditions. The rainfall will help ease the wildfire season in parts of California. Governor Gavin Newsome extended a drought emergency statewide on Tuesday and urged Californians to conserve more water. This comes as California just experienced its hottest and driest August on record. Experts say the rainfall won't end the drought but will be a good start to California's new water year, which stretches from October to September. This afternoon's weather report is brought to you by Boone Weather dot com. Don't forget your sweaters and jackets as temperatures are expected to be cooler than yesterday afternoon. Expect mostly cloudy skies for your morning with decreasing clouds during the afternoon. High temperatures will top out around 61 degrees with a low of 42 degrees.

If you follow the national news, you may be aware that Governor Gavin Newsome of California is facing the very real possibility of being the second Governor of California recalled this century, and then he will cackle and explode into bats. The election is set for September 14th, and there is the usual slate of marginal and previous failures as candidates GOP challengers, along with the “normal” group of attention whores, porn stars and people who just think that the whole thing is funny. This past week, a lawsuit was filed to stop the election, or at least change the election rules. In short, the idea behind the lawsuit is that it “isn't fair” and violates the 14th amendments equal protections and due process clause. In other news, Congress 117.0 has decided to revive Earmarks 2.0, which should not worry you at all, because this time there is absolutely no way, can't happen, seriously, it cannot possibly happen, there is no way that the new system of doling out public funds to buy votes and curry electoral favor can possibly be abused by Congressweasels looking for support and votes. And This Day in History was a bad one if you happen to be a witch…

Mike Burns, (R-Travelers Rest), member of the South Carolina General Assembly, joins us on the program to discuss the "Stop Tech Censorship in South Carolina" Bill (H. 3450), very important legislation that he has been championing in the S.C. General Assembly.  We discuss who you can do to help this very important bill become law, and Rep. Burns also discusses his involvement in recent anti-tax litigation in Greenville County, in which two "user fee" taxes imposed by Greenville County Council have been ruled by the Court as impermissible, in an important case that is likely to have state-wide implications.Fred Lucas, chief national affairs correspondent with the Daily Signal and co-host of the "Right Side of History" podcast, joins us to discuss current events surrounding the protests in Cuba, how the United States can best respond, and what to look for in the days and weeks ahead. In the Parting Wisdom segment, Reese discusses some wisdom he recalls his grandmother sharing...  "You'll catch more flies with honey than you will with vinegar!"  There are quite a few people in politics today - and in the Horry County Republican Party in particular - who would do well to remember that little bit of wisdom!  But for now, the circus antics continue within the Horry County GOP.  This time, the antics are in the form of a vote this week to censure State Party Chair, Drew McKissick, for something that he said about the Greenville County GOP.  (Bear in mind, McKissick hasn't actually DONE anything yet, and none of us know how all the things happening elsewhere in the State are going to play out, but for good measure, let's just go ahead and censure McKissick and get that out of the way.)  Right!  Big future there, folks. Thanks for listening to Saturday Morning Coffee!  We hope you all have a blessed week and we'll see you again next Saturday Morning!Proverbs 3:5-6

Darrell Castle talks about the first 100 days of the Biden Administration from the perspective of how things are going and what has been accomplished. Transcription/Notes THE FIRST 100 DAYS OF JOE BIDEN Hello this is Darrell Castle with today's Castle Report. This is Friday the 21st of May 2021 and, on this Report, I will be talking about the first 100 days of the Biden Administration. These are the halcyon days for the administration, at least traditionally, and we should therefore take a look at how things are going and what has been accomplished. Things are going well for the Castle family as we start the transition away from a masked society to an unmasked one. So far so good for us here in the River City, but in California, the family daughter continues under the reign of Governor Gavin Newsome, but all things said we are all doing well. The first 100 days are traditionally a time of idyllic peace and goodwill for an incoming new president. The press does not question him too forcefully and he is allowed time to get his bearings and adapt to being emperor of the world. However, when a President signs 33 executive orders within one week of taking office, most on the first day, he has in my opinion, waived any right to favorable treatment he might otherwise have had. He has, essentially, converted himself from executive leader to chief legislator in one week. His actions were in violation of the Constitution so his first action after taking office was to violate his oath of office. I saw a meme the other day that sums up the Biden Presidency to date, “From energy independence for the first time in 50 years to gas shortages in 4 months. Quite an accomplishment.” Now, let's let former President Trump put his two cents worth in: “I see everybody is comparing Joe Biden to Jimmy Carter. It would seem to me that is very unfair to Jimmy Carter. Jimmy mishandled crisis after crisis, but Biden has created crisis after crisis. First there was the Biden Border Crisis (that he refuses to call a crisis), then the Biden Economic Crisis, then the Biden Israel Crisis, and now the Biden Gas Crisis. Joe Biden has had the worst start of any President in United states history, and someday, they will compare future disasters to the Biden Administration—but no, Jimmy was better!” My guess is that a lot of Democrat politicians secretly see that quote and say that they hate him more when he is right. There is a lot of correct information in that quote if you leave out the references to Jimmy Carter, and the worst in history which is impossible to know or judge. Let's look at some of the allegations one at a time and see if we can find any truth in any of them. The Biden Border Crisis seems to be virtually all Joe Biden's fault or at least the fault of those puppet masters who manipulate the strings. Estimates are that more than 100,000 have crossed the border in the first 100 days. I would like to say they crossed illegally but the truth is that they were invited. I believe the first executive order that the new president signed was one completely opening the borders to anyone. That means to anyone from anywhere not matter what their intentions were upon entering this country. No one was permitted to inquire about those things. Tens of thousands of children without parents have crossed the border and thousands were being held in cages at the border until the Federal Government could find employees from the departments of Interior and Agriculture among others who would agree to take care of these children. Twenty state governors have told the administration that their states cannot take any more illegal immigrant children. What kind of country allows parents to send small children across a desert without any escort to try to find someone to take them into America. What kind of leader would allow that? I wonder if it has occurred to anyone besides me that the entire border disaster gives the lie to the idea that America is systematically racist a...

ladies and gentlemen, family and friends from around the country and literally around the world. This is another episode with your host, David J. Harris, jr, and today I have the privilege. And the honor of having dr Dan Erickson on with me. He and his coat doctor that owned the several urgent cares in Kern County absolutely exploded the internet. YouTube took their video down because of the information that some of what she's going to share, and we're going to get a little bit deeper into that as well. It's a privilege to have on with me this morning, dr Dan Erickson, dr Dan, how are you doing today? My brother. You know, it's 84 degrees here in Southern California and I'm feeling good. That's good. Did you have any idea that your video was going to go so epically viral? Shh. No, this, this was, we were supposed to give a raw data sharing to our local media. They were going to record it and do a two minute news segment. And then somehow it went Facebook live and kind of went all over the place. So no, this was, this was a fireside chat for Kern County. That's all it was intended to be. And you and your, uh, your, your, the co owner of the, um, the urgent cares, you are actual coven 19 doctors. You've been asked and tasked with conducting research and collecting data on individuals in your area. Correct. Yeah, we've, we've done almost close to 7,000 tests. We do the nasal swab and we're just starting to do the IgG immunity test. We weren't, we weren't essentially elected. We just noticed there was a demand for testing. So we, we set aside one of our main corporate centers to start doing a lot of testing. We've done close to 7,000 and where we'd have about 8.3% positives via PCR method, which is the nasal swab to this point. How different is that from the current studies that we're hearing from CDC, from the original, uh, from the original expectations of, of, uh, how many people we're going to contract this or have contracted it. And then compare that to em to the mortality rate. How, how off from the original, which has kind of created this entire pandemic of stay at home orders. Where does that compare? Well, I think you have to go back a couple months ago when we were using sort of these academic models and they were predict predicting, you know, 2.2 million deaths, which obviously has not been materialized. Uh, the second wave of predictions comes from Stanford, from LA County. Where Stanford looked at 3,300 people. They did antibody tests and they found 2.6 to 4.1% of the people in the population of Santa Clara had, uh, had immunity. Well, their public health department had 956 on record. So what dr Leo Natus and others are saying is. It's actually 50 times that they said it's more like 50 to 80,000 cases instead of 956 so the, the these studies we're seeing are saying that it's a lot more prevalent. Prevalent means the, the amount of current disease, it's a lot more prevalent than we initially thought. And if it's a lot more prevalent, the death rate therefore, is much lower. So now we see, uh, then dr Fowchee as been found saying, this is the new England journal, the death rate around the country, uh, the highest we're seeing is 0.5. I think dr Fowchee said under 1%. So 99 to 99.5% of people who get get better. When did you first realize that something was wrong with the testing and the reporting on the testing? Well, I wouldn't say something's wrong with the testing. I would say that what I was trying to do was give the people of Kern County a realistic sense of my data. I said, we're not New York. We're not, we're not China. So I said, I've done, at that time, I had done 5,000, 213 tests. Uh, I had gotten about a 6.5% positive, which was 340 at that time. And I said, here's my data. And I said, California at that time had. You know, I was going over the positives and how much testing had been done and the death rate and just giving raw data. It was not a, a biostatistical analysis. It was not, you know, supposed to, uh, set the record. I was just going over what is out there and making some, some kind of predictions on the prevalence, but because we didn't have good data, so I said, why don't we, let's just go over the raw data and see what we're coming up with. And it turns out that now, you know, the studies out of New York are showing New York state has likely 14% positive New York city, 21% positive. So we're seeing millions of cases, which really lowers the death rate in New York. Uh, per the article I read yesterday too, about 0.5%, meaning people who have tested positive, uh, ended up dying from it and about a 0.5% positive rate. I'm so thankful that you chose to do the study, do the research. I know you told me earlier that you were just on a panel, a discussion panel with Tony Robbins and several other, um, head epidemiologists. What was that? Did they ask you your input from we, from your research, and how did they respond to your data? Well, I think my data is raw and you know, you can't, my dad, my dad. Yeah. A number of things we talked about were speculative cause they haven't been bio statistically analyze. They haven't been peer reviewed. So I want to be clear on that. It was an opinion piece about what I thought in Kern County, Kern County currently has 13 deaths out of almost a million people. So I think what we have to look at is, you know, are we doing the right steps now? Now that we're getting data back and we're seeing these deaths rates that are under 1%. Should we continue in this lockdown phase? I think that's the important conversation now is what we did two months ago, I think was appropriate. We saw this virus, this novel, new virus coming out of China. We said, man, this thing seems to be moving fast, causing a lot of death. What should we do? So we isolated people. We put masks on, we socially distance until we had a couple months of data. Now that we have that. We have to ask ourselves, is the collateral damage? For instance, uh, the suicides I've, I've been dealing with the depression, the anxiety, the loss of revenue, economic collapse is, is it now, should we stay on a shelter in place pathway or is it time to start opening up the economy now that we have a lot more data? So that's, that's really the question. I think we all have to answer at this point. What kind of spikes have you seen? You mentioned that you've personally been dealing with suicides. What kind of spikes have you seen in some of these, uh, in some of these issues when it comes to the individuals that are staying at home can't go anywhere? Uh, what percentage of increase have you seen? I can tell you about a case. Uh, I'll just use a specific case that I have that a 23 year old male, uh, was, was let go because of COBIT. He had some baseline depression. Uh, and he ended up taking pills and drinking himself and ended up in the ICU on event. These kinds of cases. These are, these are what I'm seeing. I don't have a big database of it. Over the last month, I'm talking to doctors from. You know, from Wisconsin, I'm reading reports of doctors that are in the Bronx and what they're seeing, and I'm putting it all together and saying, as a collective, this is what I'm seeing around the country. This is my opinion on what I'm seeing. I think that's what's important. I don't have a biostatistical, uh, database to pull from saying, you know, suicide has gone up 12%. I think that data might be, they're putting it together now, and I've heard from the Sheriff's office, Sheriff's office that, you know, violent crimes, alcoholism, they're getting a lot more nine one one calls, but I don't have the actual figures to go from, well, you're, you're, you're right in the thick of it. You're seeing it and you're talking to the doctors that are seeing it and the effects of this, these stay at home orders that so many governors are still implementing and keeping in place. It seems like it's definitely causing more damage to the American people. Uh, than it is helping. Do you believe the governor's following real science, or do you think there are doctors and experts with a political agenda who are giving out bad information? Well, I, I'm not, I'm not really a psychiatrist. I don't know what they're thinking. But what I will say is, I think. It w what we need to do is look at the approaches that have been taking globally. Let's look at South Korea. Let's look at Sweden. Let's look at the United Kingdom. The death rate per million in, uh, in Sweden right now is about 300. The UK is about 500. Sweden is not on lockdown. Kids under 16 are in school. Businesses are opening. They're limiting groups under 50 and people are allowed to move about outside their homes without being arrested or penalize. In the UK, they're on full lockdown and their results are not much better. So when I asked the epidemiologist this question, they say, I think that flattening the curve actually lengthens the disease cycle. So instead of kind of allowing the herd immunity to go up and come back down, it sort of drags out this herd immunity. Because hurting unity is, you know, one of the strategies for getting through these viruses. Every year the flu comes in and we vaccinate people, people get the flu, and the flu essentially burns itself out. As we start to move outdoors and get later in the, uh, in April and may, it starts in December, last for three or four months. Each year it burns itself out and we have a vaccine for it. The vaccine. Some years is more effective than others, and not everybody takes the vaccine. So I think the vaccine helps, but it's not always the answer to these, these viruses that spread through our communities. Yeah. I've, we and our family choose, choose not to vaccine. And I haven't had anything really damaging. I rarely actually ever gets sick, but I also take high doses of vitamin C if I'm feeling something coming on vitamin D, vitamin a, and M, I seem to get through it. So if you take that into consideration, there's a lot of Americans that don't vaccinate and we don't see, you know, total pandemic style reaction to people getting the flu. It really makes you wonder why we've done that. You said in your video that California hospitals were at a minimum capacity. Is that still the case? And if so, how come governor Newsome is ratcheting up the stay at home owners, uh, by closing down beaches? Well, I can only, I can only speak for, uh, for central California. I, I speak to their, their CEO's and I asked them and they said their census was low. Some hospitals said 40%. Some said, uh, they definitely were lower than normal. I said, do you have surge capacity if we should have a secondary spike? They said, yes, and we get secondary spikes with the normal flu, uh, that we're, we're used to. So every year, sometimes in December, it starts out slow. By the end of January, you see the tents outside of the hospitals, you know, they're, they'll surge sometimes instead of seeing 250 a day, they'll see, you know, 400 a day. We're used to that. We're used to flu cycles. That surge. So I think it's important that people know most hospitals have surge capacity, and if you have to put tents up for a few weeks to deal with it, that's okay. I mean, we're used to that. I asked him, do you have enough ventilators? Yes, we do. I said, they, I said last week, in fact, there was 14 patients in the hospital with Kelvin and there was three on ventilators. Out of the system of almost a million people. So I, I, I, I'm trying to get real numbers and data to say, this is what's going on in Kern County. I can't speak to all of California, but I have heard, uh, similar, uh, similar stories in LA where doctors are telling me, you know, our volume, we used to see, you know, we're probably seeing 40 to 50% less volume. They've had to furlough doctors and nurses because. They just don't have the volume of patients. And a lot of it's fear. I talked to an ER doctor in Wisconsin, just finished a night shift, and he, I said, how'd it go? He said, well, I had a patient come in with chest pain who had started three days ago, but he was too afraid to come in abdominal pain. That's waiting. And so these things that we can treat when they wait for days, they're dealing with a much more significant problem. So I think fear, fear is causing some secondary medical problems. Uh, even at the clinic I'm at today, I was talking to the doctor. He said, a patient came in with an infection that they'd had for many days, but was afraid to come in and get checked out. So you can see there's collateral damage to the fear. People are driving around their cars with face masks and they won't get their medical problems addressed because they think they're going to get covered by coming into a facility. When I hear that, it makes me think about the video that was just released where CBS basically got caught, uh, staging a covert 19 testing site and willingly and knowingly put it on the air, shared it on their morning news segment where they had additional people lined up to take tests. The nurses actually on video were sharing that. Most of them weren't even actually being tested. They said that they were just faking it. When you hear, when you know what's going on and you see what's going on with some of these individuals that are literally out of fear, not going to the hospital, get to get something treated that they should, and then you hear that CBS is intentionally fear-mongering. How does that make you feel as a doctor? Well, that's one of the reasons why I was, I was trying to be really forthcoming with the media cause they were parking outside my building. You know, always looking for interviews. And I said, I want to make sure people understand that we're, we're doing a lot of testing. Uh, and we're seeing about six and a half percent. We're not seeing a lot of hospitalization. And most people have a fairly mild illness. They'll have some cough. Some fever and they typically get over it without going to the hospital. So I think one of my, one of my key messages was just to reassure people that most people, unless you're, you know, over 70 with multiple medical problems, these are the people that succumb to the illness. If you look at the nursing homes, uh, throughout the different countries, they got hit hard. And I think maybe one of the things we could have done better in this country is initially. You know, isolate the vulnerable, which are the elderly, which are the immune compromised. Let's isolate the vulnerable and not necessarily isolate those young and healthy under 50, who have a very good chance of getting over it with no hospitalization and almost no symptoms. You know, that, uh, governor Cuomo actually allowed nurses that were working in, uh, in, uh, elderly homes, retirement homes. With Cobra 19 to still continue to work, uh, around elderly. And, uh, it's like, what kind of reasoning could you think of for a governor saying, go ahead and keep working in these areas where the most highly risk individuals, the elderly are there and these nurses have covert 19. How does that, what do you think about that? Yeah, it's tough to, it's tough to throw a stone at that. Sometimes that's a staffing issue. Uh, I always, I always like to know the facts before I comment, but you know, our, our staff has a w I don't, I don't believe we've had any staff with COBIT. I'd have to check today, but, um, our staff is, is using PPE precautions. If we have someone who's positive, typically you take them off for about two weeks. That's what the CDC recommended. However, it's not entirely clear to me that someone is indeed not contagious after that point. Cause I, I've met with MD PhDs and immunology and ask them that question. And when we do the immune testing, uh, we can tell you if you're positive or negative for COBIT and we can tell you if you've had an immune response. But can we tell you that you're immune to COBIT? Not necessarily. We can say you've been exposed to it. You've got a spike in your immunoglobulin IgG. And I asked, I asked them specifically, so what can I tell the patient? And they said, you've been exposed to Cove at 19 and you have an immune response. We don't know if it confers immunity. So for these nurses in New York, I mean, if they were working for me, I probably would have taken them off for two weeks and brought people in that tested negative. Seems like that would have been, that should have been an easy decision for anybody to make. Uh, do you feel like, uh, hospitals are finally starting to focus on non virus related illnesses again, or are people still today in fear of going to hospitals? I know you shared a story about that gentlemen that didn't go. Was that recently or was that weeks ago? That, that was probably about a week and a half ago. But I, I, again, I have, I have many cases around the country. Uh, I have doctors, orthopedic surgeons in Texas I've talked to about people who needed joint replacement, hip replacement. But because covert has become the focus of all of us, all these significant medical problems have been backburnered. So we, we see a variety of things that are, in my opinion. Essential, uh, but have been deemed nonessential. I'm not sure how someone who can't walk and needs a hip replacement is not essential. That seems critical to me. But orthopedic surgeons were told they couldn't do these surgeries and they're starting to loosen it a little bit. But I think coven really, we started focusing on that almost to the detriment of everything else. And I'm going, folks. The medical system has a lot of issues. It is part of it, and when I see hospitals, census is low and lots of surge capacity and people are afraid to come in, I say to myself, I think we've scared the people into a state where they're not getting the care they need, and I don't think that's the best approach. Yeah, I a hundred percent agreed. How complicit do you feel or do you feel like the mainstream media. Just elevated this to a level of pandemic that created the fear they didn't treat to swine flu like this. No, and I, I think, you know, if it bleeds, it leads, you know, you've heard these statements where the, the media, I mean, they're, they're an entertainment industry and they need ratings. And if they say, you know, uh, that covert maybe is similar epidemiologically to the flu and people need to really take a rational approach that doesn't sell. So I think sometimes there's some sensationalism to kind of boost ratings. And if you're, if your common methodical people maybe don't tune in as much. So I think the media in general. Uh, needs to take a more midline approach, but I understand they're a business and they want ratings, but I just think that sometimes they sensationalize things when they should be talking to people that actually do this every day and say, what are you seeing? Instead of sort of sensationalizing what they see in New York. We have a term for that. Dr Dan, you know what it's called? What's it called? Fake news. I agree with you, they, they sensationalize a lot because they're trying to just get ratings and I personally believe they're continually trying to push a narrative. You know, I can't, I don't think we can deny that. Uh, 80 90% of most mainstream media is, is pretty liberal. Slanted. I'm not sure where you are on the spectrum or if you want to get into that or not. You know, I, I've really tried to stay in my lane. I'm, I'm, you know, I've studied science. I'm a physician. I'm an entrepreneur. I was trained as an emergency physician. I don't work in the ERs anymore. Um, and I, for the most part, I'm in the entrepreneurial world. I'm providing jobs for doctors and for nurses and for staff. Uh, I see patients periodically, but mainly an entrepreneurial role. So I really try to, I really try to throw all these interviews to sort of stay in the scientific and medical realm because I think that's where I can contribute the most. Obviously I have political ideology like everybody, but I've really tried to stay in my lane to stay. I think it's fair that I stand in the scientific and medical lane and I'll leave the, you know, the politics to the pundits and people that spend their lives discussing that. What about when politics starts to impede on your medical, your ability to practice medicine and the, and the people that you're seeing? You know, the, in Ventura County, the, uh, the director of public health there has just issued a statement that they're going to mandatory quarantine. Anybody that tests positive and then they're going to start contact tracing where they're going to track down anybody that they've had contact with. And if anybody tests positive, they're also going to mandatory quarantine them. Yeah. I know that that policy doesn't, uh, I don't think that's the most effective way to do it. I think what you want to do, cause a lot of people, they test positive. They're young and healthy and they get over it. You know, they can self isolated home. The thing is people are social creatures. I mean, they're going to go to the store, they're gonna go to home Depot, they're going to interact with their pastor. They're going to have people come to their house. I, I asked an epidemiologist as question and said, do you think this is the best approach, you know, sort of isolating people with mild disease? And they said, no. You isolate the elderly. A majority of these cases we're seeing from a university of Pittsburgh RN people over 80 you, you isolate the elderly, you isolate the immune compromise, you protect them, and then society essentially moves about and goes about its business to develop herd immunity. Because if I look at the way they've done shutdown, for instance, where like today I can run over to Costco with 25 people and I can stand in the same row and we can talk about the price of cheese and bread. And that's fine. And then on my way home, I can stop by the bike store, which I did the other day, and talk to a salesperson for an hour or two and there was three of them talking to me, no masks, no social distancing. And then I can go to fast food on the way home. And they may or may not be wearing masks. And I'm going. It's like we're selectively shutting things down. We're shutting down churches, beaches, parks. But then we've got these big box stores that are open with really, there's no rational, you know, lockdown parameters there. They're selectively shutting things down, and I don't think the virus really cares about those kinds of decisions. I think it's going to move through the community no matter what. And that's why we see Sweden is, uh, Dr. Andrews technol and dr said, we're very happy with our approach. And I say, maybe there's something we can learn from them. Why don't we study the approach of these countries that are not in full lockdown, but have used some common sense social isolation? They've been talking about personal responsibility. Imagine that having people, you know, making decisions about their own healthcare and their own influence. I don't think we should ever have policies that take away our constitutional rights and tell us what is and what's not safe. I think what's important is to isolate certain people groups and then let the majority of the population and make decisions about their own personal responsibility. You nailed that on the head. That's where I was going is, you know, there comes a point where I believe every, every American that loves this country, that loves the founding, that loves our constitution, our bill of rights. Sees these stay at home orders by mostly Democrat governors that are pushing an agenda where they're shutting down things like church's. Governor Gavin Newsome just said, churches can expect to stay closed for another two to possibly three months. Yet you've got Walmart's open, you've got targets, Costco. You've got all these things that they deem essential. Uh, it really just makes no sense other than them are just, they're trampling on the first amendments of Americans that they deemed non-essentials. How I see it. Yeah, and I think we have to be real careful here that we don't the term throw the baby out with the bath water, where we essentially run an economy. I like to, I like to mention this. I say. When you shut down a 2020 point $4 trillion economy, you have medical problems. So you're not just shutting it down and you have economic problems. No, you have a variety of, you have, you have some starvation, you have depression. This is what I'm seeing in our practice. Depression, anxiety. You have some suicide. Yes, you have some alcoholism. You have all these secondary issues that start popping up that are measurable, and then you have these, this other side where you're predicting what will happen with the cobot, but at the same time, you have these issues that are definitely going to happen that are medic, that are negative medical consequences of an economic shutdown. So I think you really have to look at them. That and say to ourselves, is the collateral damage of economic shutdown indeed causing more medical issues then COBIT itself? And I think there's a good case to be made that, you know, most Americans have some negative impact from COBIT, whether it's, I'm not just talking to you financial, I'm talking about lack of medical care, fear of being evaluated. Um, the ERs. Census being low because people don't want to get treated. Those are definitive medical problems that happen because of the shutdown that are not economic based. Yeah, I agree. 110%. Um, to me it definitely seems political. Uh, you know, I'm a Christian and I feel that, uh, you know, one of my good friends, pastor Rodney Howard Brown, he decided to practice social distancing, have church give people a place to go and worship. Uh, and they took him to jail. And they've done that to pastors all around the country. Yet specifically they're leaving mosques alone. I'm not saying one thing or the other other than why is there such a disparity? Why are they treating one group of faith different than the other? That's where I believe it becomes political and that's where I believe Patriots should stand up and say something. I've got a few questions for you from the audience. I let my audience know that I was going to be interviewing you and some very good questions came in. I can't go through all of them. There's close to a thousand questions on my Facebook feed, but this question comes from Tammy Renee. She says, with all my questions I just about need a phone call. It was also stated by another doctor that taking vitamin C, vitamin D, and zinc. Uh, was good to take. They also stated hydroxy chloroquine was good for people diagnosed with the Corona virus, that it helps cover the cells. So why are they trying to keep, uh, y'all doctors, uh, to give your patients this? The test positive is, is that accurate? Is vitamin C, D and zinc, uh, does that help boost the immune system? Would that help somebody that could be potentially, uh, infected with Kobe. Yeah. I think you're, you're talking to two different things. One is kind of a basic health strategy, vitamin D, vitamin C, antioxidants, getting outside and getting on. These are all things that we're going to assume you're going to do every day. And then there's the discussion of if you get cobot do you treat it. And for the vast majority of people at my clinic, we don't treat it. We test them. They're positive. We say, go home, self isolate. You're going to be fine. If they start developing respiratory symptoms, shortness of breath, you know, progressive fevers, they start getting worse. Then there's the discussion about treatment. What are the treatments available right now, while there's the hydroxychloroquine, zinc is silver myosin and people say, well, that's not, that's not, we don't have, you know, double blind, placebo controlled peer reviewed. You know, journals and trials showing this as effective. What we have is for the most part, anecdotal evidence. So we have physicians that have, for instance, treated 1400 patients and they had two of them on vents and they eventually came off the vents. And most people did very well. We have these anecdotal stories throughout the country, and I'm, I'm saying it, if I had coped that, and I was getting worse. I would take that most the vast majority of people don't need any, any medication, but people that are getting worse, if you ask ER doctors if they've had coven and were getting worse, for the most part, they probably took treatment. If I had was diagnosed with COBIT and I was getting respiratory symptoms, I would start hydroxy chloroquine, zinc and azithromycin. That tells you why I think about it. Yeah. That says a lot. I also think it's very interesting that hydroxychloroquine know and Z pack are very cheap. They're very inexpensive, uh, yet the mainstream media pretty much blasted it. I don't know if they blasted it because president Trump suggested, Hey, this looks like it's working. It could be positive or you know, if there was some other bent to it. You have any thoughts on why the mainstream media would blast something that seemed to be so positive and have results for so many people already. Yeah, a lot of times it, president Trump stands for it. They're against it. I mean, it doesn't matter what he said, they come against it. So I would say this hydroxy chloroquine has been used in lupus patients for 65 years. And I heard a statement by the head of rheumatology the other day that said it's very safe. Uh, the cardiac side effects are very minimal from his perspective, and it really blocks the cytokine storm, which is. Sort of this inflammatory reaction, the lungs, and it's so it, it seems when you look at its mechanism of action and its history of safety, I don't know why it wouldn't be something you know, in your arm armamentarium that you would use as a physician. You know, we, we talked about convalescent serum as a possible reason. Convalescent serum just means taking the CRM from someone who's developed antibodies and giving it to someone who's sick so they can develop the same antibodies and fight the disease. That's another strategy. Then we've got some of these new medications coming out, but I'm thinking if you have a patient and they're getting worse, you're going to, you're going to try one of these methods because the, the ventilator, uh, ventilators are not good for patients. Um, they, a huge percent of people die on the ventilators, and that's, that's not the most effective strategy. So I don't, I don't treat a lot of COBIT patients. Our clinic C C basically. Low level of disease and they go home. When they get worse, they go to the hospitals and the hospital doctors, the hospitalists, the internists deal with this. I don't really deal with the treatment side, so I've, I've, I've read and listened to the anecdotal evidence and if I was diagnosed with it and getting worse, I would start that regimen. We talked about great information. This question comes from Shelly asked, and Steve. Is it possible that covert virus was in the U S in November and December. She had a friend who says her cousin tested positive for antibodies and was really sick in November. She also works in a school or she had something go through the staff and kids in January. Are they doing health background with positive antibody results to determine this? Yeah. I can only speculate to that because we didn't have testing back then, so I will say that. Uh, I've heard anecdotal reports from ER doctors that say, you know, I be seeing these flu like illnesses in December, you know, fever, shortness of breath, body aches. It looks like flu to me, but we tested negative for flu. It was really strange. And then I've, I've had a couple friends of mine who said I had a severe flu like illness in December, but it wasn't flu and it was likely coven. We don't have testing. So I can only speculate that was true. Uh, and in LA we have a lot of people coming in and out through China every day. So I have also, you know, read some other reports that they think the covert was here long before, we just didn't know it. And California and started to developing immunity. And that's why we've had, you know, a fairly, a fairly low kind of disease and death in California compared to New York. Uh, possibly because we had developed some herd immunity from all the, uh, the Chinese travel through lax airport. That would be very interesting if there was a way to truly find out, uh, that would lay a whole entirely new narrative on how and why this pandemic was created and supported by the mainstream media. I've got a few more questions. You have time. Yes. A couple more minutes. Johnny Wade Bennett says a good friend friend of mine has a daughter that lives in DC, was having a rash called her doctor to see it. He gets a medication for it. Uh, she had a rash a couple of years ago. The doctor insisted she come get tested for Cobra 19. She was already practicing. Isolation was not symptomatic of the virus. The doctor told her putting a sh she was putting everyone in danger. So she went in to be tested. They told her to take five to six days. The results came back. Uh, and she tested positive. Now it's been a month and she's never had any symptoms. Is this possible? Yeah. A lot of people don't have any symptoms that are positive. Matter of fact, uh, from my discussion with epidemiologists of most people with that are young and have healthy immune systems, the body brings this in and processes it and develops immunity with very little symptoms. And that's why, you know, when we, when we look at these studies from Stanford and USC, they're saying. Most people, the vast majority don't even know they have it. So they don't feel sick. They have Kobe, but they don't feel sick. And I think this has been under reported, uh, largely in the media. When you look at New York and you think that the studies out of New York that I've been reading, say that about 14% of new Yorkers, uh, likely have had code from these studies. They did. And maybe 20, 21% of New York city. Well, that's, you know, 2.7 million people. And the vast majority of them don't have symptoms. And the ER doctor, um, his name is Dr. Daniel Murphy that put out a statement a couple of days ago, said, listen, I live in the Bronx. I'd had and he said, our beds are opening up. The cases aren't coming in anymore. And he said, the collateral damage I'm seeing that is causing, uh. Problems, both medically and financially for my patients is worse than coven. We need to get everybody back working, and this guy is in the Bronx, he's in the thick of it, and he's had COBIT himself. I think that's a legitimate source telling us we need to get the economy moving for a variety of medical reasons. What would you say, two questions. What would you say to these? These governors that are continuing to, uh, Institute, stay at home orders and some of them, like in Oregon. Are even suggesting that it's going to be in July before they even reconsider opening up their state. I would say that, uh, we need to, we need to listen to epidemiologists in different countries. We also need to listen to biostatisticians. I interviewed dr and I asked him these questions and he said, you know, we need to allow the virus to move through the young and healthy and develop herd immunity. We need to isolate, you know, are elderly and immune compromised and we need to open up the schools. And this is what dr , uh, Dr. Andrews techno have said. They said, kids do very well with this virus, so why are we shutting down the schools? Why are we talking about not opening them up for a long time? I don't see good science for why we should do that. I think elderly homes, yes. People over 70 yes. Immune compromised. Yes, but for those of us that are not in those categories, I think we can start, I mean, this is what the epidemiologist has said, dr gooseneck. He said, well, the United States has gone up this ladder now and they have to come down in a stepwise fashion. You don't just open everything up because you're going to get a massive disease spike you. You start slowly with the schools. This is what he recommended. Yeah, I'm not an epidemiologist, so I'm going to defer to him. He said, open up the schools, kids under 16 so basically up through high school, open them all up, watch your prevalence and incidence of disease. You know, if it, if it's stable and the hospitals are fine, no, no overwhelming sense of disease. Then you open up small businesses and you do a step wise approach to open the whole economy. That's what they've recommended. I think that's rational and I support that opinion. So that that opinion goes directly to Gavin Newsome as well, because he's continued to stay on that track. Uh, how do you, how do you feel that the president handled this pandemic with the first information that came out? And do you agree that basically China lied and because of that, people died? Well, I, I would say this, um, when you're dealing with limited information, which he was a couple of months ago, you have to defer to your experts. You know, dr Fowchee and the whole team, you as, I think as president, a key thing is you have to listen to your advisors because if you don't, then you're sort of in this, you know, dictatorship role. So I think, I think president Trump did it right where he said, okay, I'm listening to the experts. They're telling me to shut down. Let's wait until we have enough data, and then we'll make different decisions. So I think he did the right thing. I wore facemasks, I wore PPE for two months. My family stayed there. My family didn't leave the house for six weeks. So we, we fell in line with all of this and now I'm saying, okay, we've done that for a couple of months. We shut down the economy. Let's look back and see if now it's time to pivot off that decision and maybe get the economy rolling again. Getting, getting that healthy back to work, getting us back to school, start to move slowly in the direction of getting us interacting again to develop herd immunity. So we don't, we don't flatten this curve indefinitely, uh, dragging out the disease cycle. Yeah. You nailed it. And as far as China lying, I think, I hope I hopefully one good thing that comes from all of this one positive thing is that we become extremely less dependent. On China, especially for so much of our pharmaceuticals and medical needs. Yeah, I agree. I think that we've gotta, we've gotta, we've gotta really decide as Americans, you know, to, to bring so much of the production here, especially on critical systems, but even noncritical systems. I think it's critical that we, we make the playing field. A little more equal so that you can't take a business to China and build things at a, at a level that allows you your profit to be increased at a high rate. I think we need, and I think that's what the tariffs are doing. So I think the critical thing right now is our infrastructure, our antibiotics, our medications. We need to keep us going. We need to bring a lot of that home because if you do, if you have a situation where you have relational difficulties with a country and they can shut down your, your key medications that keep your population healthy, that's not a strong position to deal from, in my opinion. I a hundred percent agree. Sounds like we agree on America first. Dr Dan Erickson came her so much. My brother Fritz for spinning, take a little break from working. You're literally helping save people's fives and, and all that you do. Thank you so much for the data and the research and thank you for bringing us your, your feedback, your data, and your opinion, sir. We, we, we honor you. And, uh, I had a ton of messages of people just saying thank you. So on their behalf, I'll say one final thought to, to the, to your audience. Get to know your board of supervisors in your County. Get to know them. Call them. Let them know, um, what you think of your constitutional rights being taken away from you. Actually, you need to, you need to take your truth to them. These are elected officials. They are a, uh, they are a public servant. And if you are not getting your needs served and your constitutional rights protected, you need to let them know. And if they don't change, you need to get them out. Boom. That's a great ending. I love it. And yes, we need to pay a lot more attention to those people that should be serving the interests of the public, which is us. God bless you, brother. Thank you so much. Maybe if anything changes, I'd love to have you back on in a couple of two or three weeks and see if there's any updates anytime. It's my pleasure. Thank you. All right. Thank you, Dan. God bless. Bye bye. Bye bye. Friends there. You heard it from the man that broke the internet. Literally YouTube took his video down. They didn't want you to hear some of what he shared here, and he shared a lot more. Please share this message, share this video, share this podcast with at least 25 friends. I know you've got them and they're all probably sitting at home, not doing too much right now. America needs to hear this man's perspective. It is a hundred percent political. These Democrat governors that continue to push these stay at home orders are doing it in absolute defiance of medical doctors and medical experts that are sharing the cure. Their supposed cure for staying at home is worse than covert. 19 God bless you. Please share the mess out of this. And once again, from my sponsor, my pillow. Please get yourself some pillows or some towels or the mattress topper that I absolutely love. I shared that my wife and I just moved. We didn't put our mattress topper on when we first moved into our new house. The first thing that my wife said to me and I said to her when w when we woke up was we need to put our mattress topper on. It'll be like, you have a brand new mattress if you'll sleep amazing. I highly recommend it. I love his sheets as well. Use the code. David, use the codeDavid@mypillow.com. You'll save up to 60% on whenever you get the mattress topper, you'll save 30% and you'll get to my pillows. So use the codeDavid@mypillow.com God bless my sponsor, Mike Lindell and my pillow, and I know you're going to love his products. Please share this message. America needs to hear and know the truth about what is really happening. It is political and like the doctor said, it seems like anything the president suggests is a good thing. The mainstream media and Democrats say it's bad. That right there is utter hypocrisy and it's something that none of us should stand for. God bless you. We'll talk to you again soon.
