In, seveda, kako so, pogojno rečeno, navadni, majhni, vsakdanji ljudje živeli s to mejo in jo s svojimi življenjskimi praksami tudi so- oziroma preoblikovali? When was the last time you sat in complete silence without reaching for your phone? In our hyper-connected world, we've become the first generation in human history with the ability to escape uncomfortable thoughts with just a button press – and it's destroying our spiritual lives.Jesse Cope dives deep into how constant distraction has become the modern believer's greatest challenge. Drawing parallels between Winston Churchill's focused productivity in a pre-digital age and our scattered attention spans today, he reveals how screens have fundamentally altered our capacity for contemplation, prayer, and meaningful connection with God."We can't figure out why we feel so distant from God when we're cramming every second with distractions," Jesse observes, challenging listeners to honestly evaluate what their time allocation reveals about their priorities. "Do we truly love Jesus more than money, entertainment, social media, or whatever else consumes our attention?"The exploration of Revelation 12 provides a sobering reminder that Satan "deceives the whole world" – a mission made infinitely easier when believers aren't grounded in Scripture. Without regular immersion in God's word, how can we possibly discern truth from fiction in an era of unprecedented information manipulation?Powerful historical examples punctuate the episode, from Medal of Honor recipients who made ultimate sacrifices to Christian martyrs who endured unimaginable tortures during the Inquisition. These accounts serve as stark contrasts to the relatively minor sacrifices many modern believers struggle to make.Whether examining early American colonists standing firm against British troops or the subtle ways technology erodes our spiritual foundations, the message remains clear: faith requires intentional cultivation. In a world designed to capture and monetize your attention, choosing God requires deliberate, countercultural decisions about how you spend your most precious resource – your time.Support the showThe American Soul Podcasthttps://www.buzzsprout.com/1791934/subscribe

Daily Devotions From Greg Laurie
How to Make a Good Marriage | 1 Corinthians 13:4–7

Daily Devotions From Greg Laurie

“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” (1 Corinthians 13:4–7 NLT) Maybe you’ve heard someone say about a happy, loving couple, “They have a marriage made in Heaven.” The implication is that some marriages just work—and that, by extension, some marriages don’t. Don’t believe it. Good marriages thrive because of the efforts made by both partners. Bad marriages fail because of the neglect of both partners. You want a good marriage? Make it. You want a bad marriage? Neglect it. There are two things we can work at to strengthen our marriages. First, we must obey the Word of God. God’s Word must be the standard for marriage. If that’s the case, then we’re on the right track. If that’s not the case, then we’ll face troubles ahead. The apostle Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 13:4–7 give us a master class in creating a solid, thriving, durable relationship. It starts with choosing patience and kindness in interacting with one another and refusing to allow circumstances to change that. It challenges us to act selflessly, to work through the insecurities that lead to jealousy, rudeness, and a sense of privilege. It calls us to strive for integrity, emphasizing a spirit of forgiveness, honesty, faith, hope, and endurance. And that’s just one passage. Building a marriage on the foundation of Scripture is a lifetime pursuit. But what a life it promises! Second, we need to lay aside the world’s distorted and perverse concept of marriage. We need to learn to see through the lie that marriage is secondary to our own needs and wants. And the lie that marriage is disposable. We need to remove the word divorce from our vocabulary. Divorce can’t be some trapdoor that’s always nearby in case we want to escape. We need to resolve to make our relationship work through thick and thin, no matter what. We need to determine that because we’ve made a sacred vow, we’re going to stand by our marriage. Jesus was quoting God’s words in Genesis 2:24 when He said, “This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one” (NLT). He added, “Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together” (Matthew 19:6 NLT). Let no one split apart what God has joined together. That doesn’t leave much wiggle room, does it? Winston Churchill said during World War II, “Wars are not won through evacuation.” The same is true of marriage. It’s a commitment until death do us part. Reflection question: What does a healthy, God-honoring marriage look like? He was intrigued by an incident from early in Winston Churchill's first term as Britain's prime minister. As he dug into the story from multiple angles, his diversion evolved into an obsession. The more he learned, the more it became a book he had to write. That book is The Attack that Shocked the World: Winston Churchill and the Royal Navy's Assault on the French Fleet, to be published by the U.S. Naval Institute Press in Annapolis, Maryland. In the meantime, given what he learned in researching and writing that, he wrote and published another one: Everybody Knows a Salesman Can't Write a Book. Cities and Memory - remixing the sounds of the world

At Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England (the birthplace of prime minister Winston Churchill), there are exhibitions dotted around about ways of life at the palace over the years. The entire stables area is converted into a museum about past ways of life in the grounds, one of which is a series of traditional English bowler hats suspended from the ceiling. Each hat contains a speaker, which plays interviews with workers from the palace estate, talking about their jobs and daily lives. As you walk around underneath the hats, you're exposed to a sound collage of lives being revealed to you.  Recorded by Cities and Memory.

Tune in here to this Wednesday's edition of the Brett Winterble Show! Brett kicks off the program by talking about the intense summer heat gripping the city and the deeper heat of geopolitical tensions rising in the Middle East. With characteristic passion, he pivots to a powerful reflection on the solemn duty of making hard choices—especially those that concern war, peace, and national destiny. Drawing on historical, biblical, and moral references, Brett underscores the weighty consequences of armed conflict: lost lives, broken families, and the soul of a nation tested under fire. He quotes Joan of Arc, General MacArthur, and Winston Churchill to emphasize the gravity and cost of warfare, stressing that such choices must never be made lightly. Brett calls for justice, compassion, and a higher moral purpose—even in victory. Citing Matthew 5:9, he urges the pursuit of peace as not only a strategic goal but a sacred obligation. It’s a stirring and sober reminder of what true leadership and sacrifice demand. We're joined by Coach Matt Doherty to talk about the evolving landscape of college athletics and the high-stakes tensions in the Middle East. Kicking off with a discussion about surprising player transfers between rival schools—like a UNC recruit heading to NC State and a Duke catcher landing at Chapel Hill—Coach Doherty shares his frustration over what he sees as a loss of loyalty and tradition in college sports. He calls for more structure in the NCAA, likening the current environment to chaos. The conversation then pivots to foreign policy, where Coach and Brett explore the dangers brewing in the Middle East. Coach Doherty draws parallels between international instability and its impact at home, emphasizing the importance of U.S. leadership and alliances. With humor, candor, and depth, the conversation ranges from locker rooms to global diplomacy—underscoring that leadership and integrity matter at every level of the game. With nearly four decades of experience in both ministry and business, Pastor Scott Purkey brings a wealth of practical wisdom and a fresh perspective to the saturated conversation on leadership. In this episode, Pastor Scott shares his non-traditional journey to ministry, the importance of setting boundaries, and how prioritizing rest and rhythm transformed both his leadership and ministry impact. Along the way, he discovered a guiding truth: “Resting is not quitting but trusting.”A passionate advocate for simplifying leadership, Pastor Scott offers an insightful counter-cultural strategy of removing complexity, not adding more, and letting go of what no longer serves the mission. Drawing from his own leadership experiences and the historical wisdom of figures like Winston Churchill, he outlines actionable questions that every leader and layperson should ask of themselves and one another. His message illustrates that good leadership is both top-down and bottom-up.He also tackles the hidden obstacles that quietly sabotage a leader's development and growth: resentment, entitlement, and over-extension. Pastor Scott reminds us that leaders must come up for air, and that without rest and rhythm, even the strongest leaders will drown. His call is clear: lead with clarity and courage, and love the people more than the goals.Support the showTransforming the workplace one Bible study at a time - DONATE today! General Marshall planned brilliantly for the US Army's rapid wartime growth and a 'Just Peace' for post-war Europe. Professor Bill Johnsen explains how. General George C Marshall's (1880-1959) career as a strategist and strategic leader was impressive. As the Chief of Staff for the US Army, he oversaw a forty-fold increase in the size of the Army. Quick to spot talent and advance it out of turn, his appointments included Generals Omar Bradley, Lesley J McNair, George S Patton, and perhaps most crucially, Dwight D Eisenhower. Winston Churchill described Marshall as 'the organiser of victory' After the War, he was appointed as Secretary of State, where he lobbied for the reconstruction of Europe that would build the capacity of nations exhausted by the War, and act as a bulwark against Soviet expansion. The European Reconstruction Plan, which would eventually become simply the 'Marshall Plan', earned him the unique distinction of being the only Army General to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Professor William (Bill) Johnsen is the former Director of Academics at the US Army War College, and a former Infantry Officer. He served in NATO working on the Conventional Forces in Europe Treaty and the 1991 NATO Strategy. He is the author of numerous works, including Origins of the Grand Alliance: Anglo-American Military Collaboration from the Panay Incident to Pearl Harbor (University Press of Kentucky, 2016), and his latest manuscript, tentatively entitled War Councilors: The Combined Chiefs of Staff and the Winning of World War II, is under publication review.

Guest Bill Whiteside is a sales and marketing executive turned software salesman turned lay historian turned writer of narrative non-fiction, specifically a forthcoming book about an incident in Winston Churchill's tenure as Britain's Prime Minister during World War II. Summary In this episode of “Getting Unstuck—Cultivating Curiosity,” I talk with Bill about the process of writing the book on Churchill, which he's detailed in a new book, Everybody Knows a Salesman Can't Write a Book. As Bill has written, “My book is for anyone who dreams of turning a creative idea into commercial reality, especially anyone who wonders how to manage the intellectual and the business challenges of writing a book while working a traditional job.” Bill was a previous guest in episode 203, where we discussed the forthcoming Churchill book. Takeaways √ Bill's forthcoming book is a story about Winston Churchill and a deadly incident in the early days of World War II of which most people are not aware; a clash between the British and French, who up to the time of the incident, had been allies. √ The book is an intersection of “how to write,” the content of the incident between Britain and France, and a memoir of Bill's life during a specific period. √ One of the key questions an aspiring writer has to ask themselves is “Do I have a deep enough passion for this topic to sustain me over a long period of time?” √ In addition to passion, to motivate your readers, it's important to have a sense that you can bring something different to your account of the story, especially with nonfiction. √ One of the challenges of writing is deciding what to leave in, what to leave out. √ There's always a reason not to do something. And most people find that reason and embrace that reason not to do something And it's the people who ignore that and say, I'm going to find the reasons to do something for the people who break through who are successful. And perhaps no historical figure better represents this idea than Winston Churchill. To many people, especially in the UK and the West, Churchill is a national hero. He is the man who led Britain through its darkest hour in World War Two. His speeches are iconic, his image is legendary, and his name is often linked to courage, resilience, and freedom. You'll hear how Leonard Nimoy accidentally inspired the original script, why Kevin Kline (not Buzz Lightyear) was supposed to lead the crew, and how Alan Rickman — literal Shakespearean royalty — somehow found himself next to a farting Tim Allen...and hated every second of it. (So did everyone on the set.) Heigl delves deep into Allen’s pre-fame life as a coke mule with a prison stint under his belt, Jordan talks about psychologic effects of space travel and Orson Welles’ touching friendship with Winston Churchill (for some reason), and they both luxuriate in the decades-long feuds between Star Trek cast members. The pair go on to discuss the worst-dubbed F-bomb in cinematic history, why comedy legend Harold Ramis prematurely departed the project, and all the reasons why the producers were terrified they were going to get sued. You’ll also discover how the film’s parody became prophecy, predicting not just the rise of fandom, but the emotional power of obsessive nerdery years before Comic-Con went corporate. So whether you’re a diehard fan or just here for the fart jokes, this one’s for you. By Grabthar’s Hammer — it’s podcast time! Today, we're looking at Luke chapter 21, but we need toremember how chapter 20 ends. Jesus had just asked the Pharisees and scribesabout who is the son of David in Psalm 110, and they refused to answer becausethey would have had to acknowledge that Jesus Christ, the Messiah, is indeedthe son of David. The people had already recognized that. Then he gave ascathing rebuke to the disciples in front of these Pharisees, scribes,Sadducees, elders, and leaders of Israel about their religious hypocrisy. Hefinished chapter 20 by saying, "Beware of the scribes who desire to goaround in long robes, love the greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats inthe synagogues, and the best places at feasts, who devour widows' houses andfor a pretense make long prayers. These will receive the greatercondemnation." Thenchapter 21 starts. As he makes this statement about the scribes and Phariseesbeing devourers of widows' tables, he looks up and sees the rich putting theirgifts into the treasury. Here are the elite, the people with money who ownvineyards, orchards, and businesses, sometimes even the tax collectors, tryingto be religious now, putting their money and gifts into the treasury. At thesame time, Jesus saw a certain poor widow putting in two mites, hardly anythingat all, a couple of pennies. He said, "Truly I say to you, this poorwidow has put in more than all, for all these out of their abundance have putin their offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all thelivelihood that she had." Jesus is making the statement that sheoutgave them all because God is not looking at the portion, how much we give, but the proportion, not only how much we give but how much we keep forourselves. He'salso teaching that everything is the Lord's. The earth is the Lord's and thefullness thereof. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, the wealth in everymine, and we are his stewards of his resources that he has given us. He givesus the breath we breathe. The book of Deuteronomy says it is God who gives uspower to get wealth. In the book of Malachi, the last book of the OldTestament, there's a stinging rebuke of the people of God who were back in theland, yet they were bringing offerings that were not the kind God wantedbecause they were just practicing outward religion while inwardly robbing God.He says, "You have robbed God." They respond, "Well, where havewe robbed you?" In Malachi 3:7-12, God says, "You've robbed me inyour tithes and in your offerings." Again, he's teaching that he owns itall, and your offerings are beyond the tenth, the tithe, that you give off thetop as an act of worship to remind yourself, as the Old Testament teaches, thatGod gave you everything you have, and the least you can give is a tenth back tohim. Somepeople say, "Well, the tithe is under the law, we're under grace, we don'thave to tithe." But I remind you that Abraham paid tithes before the lawwas given, and Jacob said, "I'll give you a tenth," before the lawwas given. Tithing is a spiritual principle in the scripture that teaches us weare worshiping God when we recognize and set aside the first fruits at thebeginning of every week of all that God has given us the previous week, showinghim that we honor him.  Jesussaid of this widow, "She gave more than them all because they gave out oftheir abundance, but she gave all her living." God doesn't want just apart of our lives; he wants 100% of our lives. Men see what is given, but Godsees what is left, and by that He measures the gift and the condition of ourhearts. Winston Churchill said, "We make a living by what we get, but wemake a life by what we give." He may have learned that from Jesus (Luke6:38) or perhaps from Paul in 2 Corinthians 8:1-15.  Let'sstart off chapter 21 of Luke by knowing God is the Lord, it's all his, andlet's keep him first in every area of our life.  Godbless.

The Wilson government got off to a pretty sticky start, with the new Prime Minister learning, more or less as he arrived at Downing Street in October 1964, that the trade deficit for the year was likely to be twice as bad as he'd expected. One option to deal with the problem was devaluation, but that Wilson ruled out: he remembered how it had been when the Attlee government had devalued, and he didn't want to face that loss of national prestige or the resentment devaluation had produced, all over again. The problem was that sticking with the pound at an artificially high value meant costs for government which killed many other ambitions, in particular introducing an element of planning and using it to generate growth.Still, the US was pleased Britain hadn't devalued. It was, however, less pleased that Britain wasn't sending troops to join its war in Vietnam, but that was a red line for Wilson. He didn't like wars and he wasn't inclined to send young British people into harm's way for a war whose moral grounds many were now questioning and which it wasn't obvious the US could even win.And Wilson also had to face another grisly chapter in the collapse of empire, when Southern Rhodesia, renamed Rhodesia and under a government headed by the hardline Ian Smith, went for a unilateral declaration of independence (UDI). Again, Wilson however much he disliked seeing Rhodesia hanging on to white rule ignoring its black majority, wasn't prepared to go to war over the issue. Instead, he tried to use sanctions to bring Smith to his knees, a well-intentioned tactic which simply didn't work.Illustration: The funeral cortège of Winston Churchill winding its way through London. In November 1932, Germany was a republic. By the spring of 1933, it was a dictatorship. How did it all happen so quickly? Fascination with Adolf Hitler requires no news peg, but I've been particularly interested in understanding the story of Hitler's rise, because in the past few months, several prominent podcast hosts—including Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson—have mainstreamed revisionist histories of the Nazi regime and WWII. These new histories often soften Hitler's antisemitism and treat him as a man of limited ambition; a guy who just wanted to give Germans a bit more living room, who was pulled into a continental war by Winston Churchill. The best book that I've read that makes use of the trove of documentation on the subject is 'Hitler's People,' by the historian Richard Evans, who is today's guest. Evans is the author of a famous three-volume history of Hitler—'The Coming of the Third Reich,' 'The Third Reich in Power,' and 'The Third Reich at War'_—_and he is widely considered the most comprehensive historian of Nazi Germany in the world. His new book distills his multi-thousand-page history into an elegant 100-page synthesis of Hitler's life, followed by profiles of his most important advisers. The end of the book is particularly interesting, as it profiles ordinary Germans of the time, for the purpose of explaining how normal, non-psychopathic people found themselves involved in a regime so brutal that it's become a synonym for evil. Working for the Long Goal

Today's message is really about taking the long view. The human attention span is short, like really, really short. Between the world wars, Winston Churchill warned Europe that Hitler was a threat to the continent at least, but people ignored him. And then when the Nazis turned violent, the people turned to Churchill as their prime minister. Having led the country through another costly war to preserve freedom, Churchill was defeated for reelection in the last days of World War II. It's like the people had forgotten his priceless contribution to world peace. He knew the war would take a long time and that it would be costly, and the people wanted to avoid thinking about it, and even later wanted it over quickly. And that's rarely how life works. Churchill returned as Prime Minister in the 1950s, but his experiences show that people mostly want short-term solutions. Working for the long goal is rarely popular. Jeremiah 15:15 says, “Lord, you understand. Remember me and care for me, avenge me on my persecutors. You are longsuffering. Do not take me away. Think of how I suffer reproach for your sake.” Here God is reminding us that often, we're required to stay in it for the long haul. Nowhere is this more true than in the pursuits of peace and contentment. That kind of thing is not built quickly, and not surprisingly too many people don't stay with it, and they stumble along looking for solutions in the wrong places. If you're in a bad place today, you're going to have to start with basic steps. Talk to Jesus and tell Him you're struggling. Maybe you have a vague sense of depression and just can't locate the direct cause. Take the example of people who did understand the source of true happiness, and were committed to seeing it through no matter how long it took. Abraham knew the value of prayer, and he waited for decades to have a son. Hannah was also unable to have children, but she prayed and stayed faithful, and eventually, God gave her a child and she felt fulfilled. Joseph spent years in exile in prison because of his brothers' actions, but his faith didn't waver. He actually found his contentment in the middle of these trials, and eventually, God restored his family, and all he had lost.  If you're depressed or ground down from money worries, or facing some other huge challenge—go to God right now and tell Him you need peace for your soul. Tell him you fully trust Him and will wait with as much patience and faith as you can. It's then you start the clock ticking on your difficult circumstances, and while you wait, your heart will be at rest. Let's pray. Father, thank you for the good gifts that we already have. Help us be grateful for those things that sustain life. We fully trust you to bring about our delivery from life's circumstances at precisely the moment you have chosen. Sustain our spirits on this journey, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.  Change your shirt, and you can change the world! Today we are at war. Our Democracy, our constitution, our rule of law, and even our people are under assault. Is there reason to fight, to hope? You bet there is!The first weeks of Churchill's Prime Ministership were clouded by the fall of France and the surrender of the Belgian Army, with repercussions for the Western alliance. To delay the German advance towards Britain, Churchill ordered expeditionary forces to retreat towards the port of Dunkirk to allow an Allied evacuation that lasted for nine days. Churchill's descriptions of events were more akin to a war reporter than a political statesman as he explained in great detail to his fellow members the bravery and ingenuity of the British forces in the face of the German war machine. Despite the success of the operation there was still a loss of over 30,000 men and vast amounts of artillery.Yet in the face of such adversity and sacrifice Churchill used his voice and his unshakeable determination to make a rallying cry to not just his fellow countrymen but also the beleaguered French in this historic speech delivered to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom on June 4, 1940: “We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender!”Click HERE to listen to Churchill's voice and take in the unforgettable images that fortified his words.Click HERE to access the Transcript of Churchill's speechClick HERE to access: The Miracle of Dunkirk Click HERE to access the 85th anniversary of the evacuation of Dunkirk with 64 of the original Little Ships heading back to the Dunkirk beaches.CTA: As you go about your day keep in mind that we Americans are not lost as long as we organize and fight together. HOUSE-CALLING ON DR. WIN THE WAR: 4/4: Mr. Churchill in the White House: The Untold Story of a Prime Minister and Two Presidents by  Robert Schmuhl  (Author) https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Churchill-White-House-Presidents/dp/1324093420 Well into the twenty-first century, Winston Churchill continues to be the subject of scores of books. Biographers portray him as a soldier, statesman, writer, painter, and even a daredevil, but Robert Schmuhl, the noted author and journalist, may be the first to depict him as a demanding, indeed exhausting White House guest. For the British prime minister, America's most famous residence was “the summit of the United States,” and staying weeks on end with the president as host enhanced his global influence and prestige, yet what makes Churchill's sojourns so remarkable are their duration at critical moments in twentieth-century history. From his first visit in 1941 to his last one eighteen years later, Churchill made himself at home in the White House, seeking to disprove Benjamin Franklin's adage that guests, like fish, smell after three days. When obliged to be attired, Churchill shuffled about in velvet slippers and a tailored-for-air-raids “siren suit,” resembling a romper. In retrospect, these extended stays at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue take on a new level of diplomatic and military significance. Just imagine, for example, Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky spending weeks at America's most powerful address, discussing war strategy and access to weaponry, as Churchill did during the 1940s. Drawing on years of research, Schmuhl not only contextualizes the unprecedented time Churchill and President Franklin D. Roosevelt spent together between 1941 and 1945, but he also depicts the individual figures involved: from Churchill himself to “General Ike,” as he affectionately called Dwight D. Eisenhower, to Harry Truman, and not to mention the formidable Eleanor Roosevelt, who resented Churchill's presence in the White House and wanted him to occupy the nearby Blair House instead (which, predictably, he did not do) 1944

Eisenhower, to Harry Truman, and not to mention the formidable Eleanor Roosevelt, who resented Churchill's presence in the White House and wanted him to occupy the nearby Blair House instead (which, predictably, he did not do) 1943 QUEBEC

'Netanyahu's vision of victory in Gaza is more Stalin than Churchill'

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fancies himself as Israel's Winston Churchill, when in fact, the Gaza war has demonstrated he is exactly the opposite of Great Britain's storied leader, asserted Anshel Pfeffer, Israel correspondent for The Economist, former Haaretz analyst and a Netanyahu biographer, on the Haaretz Podcast. "We shouldn't be making this World War II – the Nazis against everybody else, and comparing that to Israel's war with Hamas. But that's being almost forced upon us by Netanyahu and his supporters," said Pfeffer in conversation with host Allison Kaplan Sommer. Pfeffer, who recently published a column in Haaretz about Netanyahu's repeated slogan of achieving "total victory" over Hamas and his misguided identification with Churchill in the second world war, said "Churchill was a brilliant wartime leader. He managed to bring the British together at that crucial point in history, uniting a country at a time of a terrible war. Yet, he didn't have the ability to win elections. Netanyahu is the opposite. As we've seen so clearly, he is totally useless at uniting Israel at a time of war, but he's very, very good at winning elections and clinging onto power." Pfeffer also pointed out that the "scorched earth" victory model that Netanyahu and his far-right coalition partners are pursuing in Gaza hews closer to former Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin and Russian President Vladimir Putin than Churchill and the other Western allies. Netanyahu should be reminded, Pfeffer said, that the U.K. and the U.S. were "magnanimous and benevolent" victors who poured millions into rebuilding a de-Nazified Germany. "That is a very, very different vision of victory."See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
